There is a jaw-dropping level of hypocrisy inherent within the U.S. State Department hosting the Muslim Brotherhood when you contrast the anxiety expressed by the White House to a speech by Benjamin Netanyahu.
If the White House is upset over an open speech that Benjamin Netanyahu will deliver to congress, imagine how angry Egypt’s president al-Sisi feels knowing the Muslim Brotherhood is in closed meetings with U.S. officials.

CAIRO: The reasons for a meeting between former Freedom and Justice Party members and U.S. State Department officials are “not understandable,” said Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry in Addis Ababa Saturday.
U.S. State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said Thursday in the daily briefing that a delegation of “former FJP members” organized by Georgetown University, adding it was “ routine at the State Department as they meet political party leaders from across the world,” and that the group did not discuss the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi.

Obviously this revelation becomes a serious political risk to the White House.  However, it should come as no surprise given the history of the Qatari government.  In addition to providing sanctuary for the Gitmo-5, Qatar was the safe harbor for the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood until they were pressured to stop (by Egypt and the Gulf Arab states) – the Brotherhood leaders then left Qatar for Turkey.

Washington (CNN) – The U.S. military and intelligence community now suspect that one of the five Taliban detainees released from Guantanamo Bay in return for Sgt Bowe Bergdahl in May of last year has attempted to return to militant activity from his current location in Qatar, CNN has learned exclusively. According to Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings, Hillary Clinton is eager to present herself for testimony to the Congressional Select Benghazi Committee. Obviously the Democrats  would prefer it to be ASAP -and- we predict within a few weeks you will see a shift in strategy which will put Gowdy solidly back on his heels and marginalize his position.
According to Trey Gowdy the State Department is hiding documents and blocking witness testimony – which he demands prior to interviewing Hillary Clinton.  The Democrats scoff at his claims saying bazillions of pages, hearings, testimonials, and documents have been provided.  Cummings is playing Chess, Gowdy is playing checkers.
The White House, the State Department, and the Democrats on the panel have a well-planned strategy to derail any political risk stemming from Benghazi; and even though I know many readers are fans of Gowdy, it appears he is being played like a finely tuned instrument.

Today, Via U.S. State Department – Due to the recent resignation of the Yemeni president, prime minister, and cabinet, and the ongoing security concerns, the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa is unable to provide routine consular services and will have very limited ability to assist with emergency cases involving U.S. citizens.
The U.S. Embassy will be closed to the public until further notice out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees and others who may be visiting the Embassy. (Via ITV) The Japanese government is ‘looking into’ a video purporting to be from Islamic State militants claiming to have killed one of two Japanese men being held hostage.
In the clip posted online – which features only a still image and audio – journalist Kenji Goto Jogo is shown in an orange jumpsuit as a narrator claims that fellow captive Haruna Yukawa has been murdered.

“You did not take the threats of my captives seriously and you did not act within 72 hours. To my beloved wife I love you. And I miss my two daughters. Please do not let them do the same in my case. You must continue to pressure our government.” (link)

Waaaay back in 2009 when the official policy and advisory team of President Obama was introduced to the world there were a few people who said, essentially: “wow, look at this group, he’s putting kids in charge“; because he was.
While I think it is safe to say most people recognize President Obama is just merely a figurehead representation of an entire presidential office that is in way over their head, it is still appropriate to hold the Chief Executive accountable for all his staff’s decisions.

If you look back to the key positions filled by the Chicago Team of professional agitators and leftists you find names like: Samantha Power (wife of Cass Sustein and now U.N Ambassador), Denis McDonough (now chief of staff), Tony Blinkin, Ben Rhodes, Dan Pfieffer and other inexperienced immature professional leftists who are profoundly in-over-their-heads.
This college frat house mentality extends toward other names like Tommy “dude” Vietor and throughout the State Dept with Patrick Kennedy, and Marie Harf etc. Almost everywhere you look you see childish immaturity playing out as a key component of the past six years of Obama policy advancement.
