We have long stated the problem with many of the modern issues we face is an abject intention by the media to hide the ‘truth’. Toward that end, it becomes important to expose the small deceptions – even when they appear “not particularly exciting”.
If the liars are exposed on smaller things then perhaps the larger electorate, and maybe even the pop-culture crowd, will awaken to the lies that are embedded within the larger things.

ISIS is naming and providing pictures of the U.S. Hostage they hold in captivity and claim she was killed today by Jordanian airstrikes.

The claim is almost impossible to verify and could be nothing more than pure propaganda.  This comes on the heels of ISIS demands of ransom for the Jordanian pilot yet he was killed a month earlier.

Things are going from bad to worse for NBC Anchor Brian Williams. Yesterday a report surfaced which claimed a pilot remembered taking small arms fire while Williams was on board, this report was used by those who defended Williams. However, that pilot has now walked back his story saying his memory was wrong and he probably didn’t have Williams on the flight.

Now reports are surfacing which show Brian Williams may have made up significant parts of his stories around his post-Hurricane Katrina Coverage; and NBC news executives are embarrassingly concerned the credibility of the entire network might be moments away from complete collapse. WASHINGTON DC – Leading members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) are lining up to skip a coming speech by the prime minister of Israel.

Reps. John Lewis (D-Ga.), the civil rights icon, and G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.), the chairman of the CBC, said they won’t attend Benjamin Netanyahu’s March 3 speech before Congress to protest Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) decision to invite the prime minister without first consulting President Obama, according to The Associated Press.
“I think it’s an affront to the president and the State Department what the speaker did,” Lewis told the AP. (more…)

NEW YORK – NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams admitted Wednesday he was not aboard a helicopter hit and forced down by RPG fire during the invasion of Iraq in 2003, a false claim that has been repeated by the network for years.
Williams repeated the claim Friday during NBC’s coverage of a public tribute at a New York Rangers hockey game for a retired soldier that had provided ground security for the grounded helicopters, a game to which Williams accompanied him. In an interview with Stars and Stripes, he said he had misremembered the events and was sorry.
The admission came after crew members on the 159th Aviation Regiment’s Chinook that was hit by two rockets and small arms fire told Stars and Stripes that the NBC anchor was nowhere near that aircraft or two other Chinooks flying in the formation that took fire. Williams arrived in the area about an hour later on another helicopter after the other three had made an emergency landing, the crew members said. (more…)

GEORGIA – A Georgia middle school teacher has been suspended for 10 days after she responded to a “Black Lives Matter” Facebook photo by saying, “All lives matter.”
Eighth Street Middle School teacher Kelly Tucker posted that and the following on December 8 after seeing a Ferguson-related protest sign in her town’s Christmas parade:
“Its turned into a race matter. What about the thugs that beat the father in his vehicle because he didn’t slow down? What about the thugs that shot the college baseball player because they were bored? The list can go on and on. If the dude hadn’t have stolen, he would be alive. I think signs should read, take the hood off your head and pull up your dang pants and quit impregnating everybody. I’m tired of paying for these sorry [expletive] thugs. I would much rather my hard earned money, that the government takes, go to people who need it, such as abusive adults with children. Not to mention the animals that they beat and fight too. Jeb Bush says “it’s ridiculous not to give the illegal ‘Dreamers’ citizenship” !
WASHINGTON DC – In a newly released video, GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush says he supports amnesty for children and that the border can never be totally secured without sacrificing America’s liberties.
“I’ve never felt like the sins of the parents should be ascribed to the children, you know,” Bush said during a 2013 conference hosted by the right of center Hispanic Leadership Network. “If your children always have to pay the price for adults decisions they make, how fair is that?”
“For people who have no country to go back to — which are many of the DREAMers — it’s ridiculous to think that there shouldn’t be some accelerated path to citizenship.”
