LIVE: Trump Holds a “Get Out The Vote Rally” in Richmond, VA – 3/2/24

Today’s second rally takes place in Richmond, VA – underscoring a strategic push in Virginia, a state that has seen a political shift in recent years. The timing of Trump’s rally, just days before Super Tuesday, is no coincidence. This pre-primary event is a clear attempt to make a final push for support in a state that could be crucial for Republican primaries.

Trump’s rally is expected to start at 6 p.m.

Jack Smith Asks DC Judge Boasberg to Decide What Trump Classified Doc Evidence to Show Florida Judge

If you ever needed a good point to highlight the nature of political Lawfare, this is a great example.

Julie Kelly essentially notes that Special Prosecutor Jack Smith is asking DC Judge James Boasberg to decide what evidence should be given to Florida Judge Aileen Cannon.

Julie Kelly (Via Twitter) – “It appears that records related to the grand jury proceedings in DC on the classified docs case remain under seal and have not been transmitted to Judge Cannon or defense.

Recall that almost the entire investigation into the classified docs matter took place in Washington DC–not southern FLA even though it is the controlling jurisdiction since the alleged “crime” of retaining classified records/national defense info happened at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.

DOJ then Jack Smith kept the case in Trump-hating DC courthouse so they could get favorable rulings from then-chief judge Beryl Howell–which they did. For example, Howell cited the crime fraud exception to justify piercing atty-client privilege between Trump and his lawyer, Evan Corcoran, to force Corcoran to turn over his records to DOJ.

Highly unlikely that would have happened in FLA especially before Judge Cannon. But right before indictment, Jack Smith moved the case to Florida. Reports at the time indicated DOJ read summaries of its grand jury evidence to a FLA grand jury in order to secure the indictment.

So, how is it almost nine months post-indictment that trove of evidence remains under seal? When the issue was raised, David Harbach said DOJ was “in the process” of asking the current DC chief judge James Boasberg to review the file, add redactions if needed, and transmit to FLA court. (link)

There is a certain level of cognitive disassociation needed by the media to ignore how the DOJ is using a DC court system to prosecute a Florida case against Trump.   Go Deep on Boasberg HERE

Supreme Court Will Hear and Rule on President Trump Immunity Position – Expedited Argument Calendar

The Supreme Court has granted certiorari and accepted the case of President Trump arguing presidential immunity from prosecution for official acts while in office.  At the heart of the issue the court will determine if the charges brought by Jack Smith need to be dropped, or if the case against President Trump can continue forward.

If the Supreme Court begins defining what types of immunity exist for Presidents in office, they are beginning to open the door to multiple Lawfare efforts against the chief executive by agencies of the administrative state.  This could be extremely troublesome for the future abilities of the presidency far beyond Donald Trump.

[SOURCE]

WASHINGTON DC – In a one-page order Wednesday, the court set an expedited schedule to hear the immunity issue, with oral arguments to be set during the week of April 22. In the meantime, proceedings in the trial court will remain frozen.

Strategery – Senate Leader Mitch McConnell Says He’s Stepping Down in November

The transparency of this timing is almost too clear.  A couple of days ago, the Koch network said they were going to drop back to a defensive position and look to retain their influence in the House and Senate.  The next day John Thune announced he was endorsing President Trump.  Deceptive Conservatives, aka “DeceptiCons,” are always positioning to retain power structures.

Today, Mitch McConnell announces he will step down from a leadership position in the Senate in November… DUH!!  The greatest likelihood is that President Trump will win the November election; Mitch doesn’t have an option at that point.  So, what we are seeing is DeceptiCon positioning. It’s all about power retention, which is to say, retention of money and influence.

John Thune has been groomed to replace Mitch McConnell for years.  You might remember when Thune contemplated retiring a few years ago, and the professional donors convinced him to stay on “just in case” Trump returned to DC.

Thune’s recent endorsement of Trump is like Brutus welcoming Caesar back to Rome, the intents are analogous.  McConnell will exit Senate leadership after the November election, Thune will rise, and the anti-Trump antagonisms will continue.  Senators Barrasso and Cornyn will position to participate in the process.

Removing the stench of McConnell and his DeceptiCon crew from the Senate means much more than just removing Mitch McConnell from leadership.  The apparatus of the Senate needs to be purged with solid primary contests to take down the power structure.  Purge the crew, then salt the entire upper chamber, then bring in an exorcist and fill every room with sage smoke for a week…. or something.

Don’t fall for the trickery…. McConnell isn’t stepping down because it’s in Trump’s best interests.  McConnell is stepping down as part of a strategy to oppose the America First agenda that Trump represents.

Donald Trump Public Support Polling Far Exceeds Average Republican Candidate

There is a strange dynamic with professionally political punditry and political media where they project claims that are the exact opposite of the reality. Often this is done simply to try and sway public opinion on an issue, to change and/or control the perception of the public, and sometimes it is successful.

Highlighting this false projection, a common refrain against President Trump has been that he limits the scale of support possible for Republican candidates. In reality, the exact opposite is true and evident in the data. It is President Trump who holds more public support than any Republican candidate, and they all ride his coattails.

When you really think about this dynamic, it centers the Machiavellian attacks against Trump by small professionally Republican pundits and candidates. Take the recent example of battleground state Pennsylvania as an example:

[Source Data]

President Trump is beating Joe Biden in this battleground state poll by 6 points.  However, the Republican Senate candidate, Dave McCormick, is running 7 points behind the Democrat Bob Casey.   The combined margin of difference is 13 points, or put another way – Trump pulls more support within the state than the Republican Party.

The Pennsylvania reality shows the scale of how much the Republican Party is now the party of Donald Trump.  The dynamic makes sense, because the overwhelming majority of middle class average Americans align with the policy agenda simply known as “America First.”

FOIA Release Highlights Durham Never Intended Accountability for Deep State Actors

Major HatTip to FoiaFan for staying on top of this

In August of 2020 I sent this tweet to the general public after a lengthy discussion with John Durham’s lead investigator:

This tweet created major controversy amid those who were deep in the research weeds on the entire Spygate/Russiagate fiasco. Few would believe that in the effort to preserve the institutions at all costs, AG Bill Barr was the Bondo application and Special Prosecutor John Durham was the spray paint.   It was all a coverup operation to hide the rot in the DOJ and beyond.

Essentially, Durham and Bill Aldenberg admitted to me that nothing the Robert Mueller team did in the preceding two years was subject to their review.

Yes, that is correct, Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann were specifically appointed in May 2017 by Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein to help coverup and hide the IC targeting of Donald Trump in the preceding two years.   Emphasize this point, the intelligence community was targeting candidate Donald Trump, because they had the power as a result of the new surveillance state.

Big Ugly Shift – Koch Network Drops Haley Support, Retreats to Senate Decepticon Alamo

It is imperative to overlay what the Charles Koch network, specifically Americans for Prosperity (AFP), really represents when considering their announcement to withdraw financial support for Nikki Haley.

Koch and AFP are part of the network of multinational/Wall Street entities who previously held all power in the Republican apparatus. All of the systems of the Republican Party apparatus were essentially controlled by a small group of big money influence makers and political interests.

The corporation known as the RNC was molded over a few generations to focus on the money part of political outcomes, not the policy or ideology – the money. Frustrated conservative voters had a difficult time understanding why their voting to put the Decepticon (GOPe Republicans) in power rarely generated a change in overall domestic policy.

Battered conservative syndrome is an outcome of the majority of those Republican voters misunderstanding that corporate desires of the Republican and Democrat club apparatus are essentially merged into one party. Give the Democrats control over policy, and they are happy. Give the Republicans (leadership mostly) money to acquiesce, and they too are happy. And so it goes.

Then came Donald Trump who turned that dynamic on its end. Suddenly, an America First agenda was being pushed by a Republican candidate, and it didn’t take long for the abused Republican and middle class voter to see their best interests were represented by Trump. A substantive conflict was immediately created between Trump and the corporate Republican apparatus. A battle for control began.

As a candidate, Nikki Haley has always represented the effort of the corporate Republican establishment. The corporate Republican network, who thrives on the status quo, have used Ron DeSantis and then Nikki Haley in their effort to rid themselves of the problem represented by Trump and the MAGA base of economically minded voters and supporters. However, both efforts have failed against the scale of the MAGA movement.

President Trump Declared Winner of South Carolina Primary

It took less than a half hour for President Trump to be declared the winner of the South Carolina primary.  It was an easy roll to victory with the former president easily defeating former Gov. Nikki Haley in her own home state.  The race was called by major networks shortly after the polls closed at 7 pm.

There are 50 delegates at stake.   How they are apportioned is a bit tricky.  Trump has a lead of 25 to 30 points in most polls, positioning him to capture the 29 at-large delegates that go to the statewide winner. The remaining 21 delegates are divided among the state’s seven congressional districts.  The winner in each district gets three delegates – and Trump has a good chance of winning all seven congressional districts.

The next primary is Tuesday, in Michigan.
