Washington DC is a bubble of self-centered ideological brethren.  The statistics within the DC vote speak for themselves: 91% supported Clinton, 4% supported Trump.  That’s an ideological ratio of 22:1  (link)  For every one resident within DC who identifies as a Trump supporter, there are twenty two who are opposed to President Trump policy initiatives and approach.
Each day the DC media personalities, producers, pundits and journalists interact and live within this skewed isolated bubble and outlook toward the world.  In their coffee shops, restaurants, and the schools attended by their children, that 22:1 ratio is the reality behind how their cognitive disconnect originates.

That 22:1 ratio is also the primary reason why all evidence that doesn’t align with what the bubble interests define as their world-view must be reconciled to a reality that fits their day-to-day experiences and interactions.
Data that is counter-intuitive to their echo-chambered views must be re-purposed to fit their cognitive narrative; hence “alternate fact assembly” is the outcome.
However, here’s some data gathering they just cannot reconcile to their comfort:

For a select group of dedicated people today marks a moment on a specific timeline over seven years long.

2008 and 2009 were tough years for advocates of small government and constitutional freedom.  The Auto-bailout, TARP, Omnibus and a trillion dollar “stimulus” signaled fiscal irresponsibility toward many; but a small group understood the larger issues which would tear apart a constitutional republic.  We connected, and more importantly, we assembled.
After another defeat at 1:38am on December 23rd 2009, we knew our heels were over the precipice of the abyss.  Act, or be acted upon.
Within four days the urgent message was transmitted though every possible resource that we could muster.
Meeting at the old mill, we rode that night, December 27th 2009, with urgency.  Our destination was Wrentham Massachusetts.
Three intense weeks and thousands of like-minded supporter notifications later, we finally had a win.  Ted Kennedy’s people’s seat was secured at least temporarily.  This was battlefield triage; everyone, every-darned-person was clear-eyed that Scott Brown was only buying us time to catch our breath….. France’s Marine Le Pen spoke to her supporters and detractors alike when she announced recently if she succeeds in the French election her first foreign visit would be to Brussels to dismantle France’s relationship with the European Union.

The 48-year-old candidate said: “I would go to Brussels to immediately launch negotiations allowing me to give back to the French people their sovereignty.”

(Via Express UK) […] The right-wing leader attacked the faltering euro currency as one of the root problems of the EU and described her main economic proposals as “economic patriotism, intelligent protectionism and a return to monetary independence”. She added: “The euro is a major obstacle to the development of our economy.”

(Via USA Today) […]  Trump told the group that his administration is “going to be here for you. You’ll call my people, you’ll call me. We have no formal chain of command around here.”
He suggested, and tech leaders agreed to, meeting quarterly, according to a person briefed on the meeting. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly.
They discussed repatriating foreign profits, reforming taxes and regulations so companies build more jobs in the U.S., building better infrastructure, and improving education, the person briefed on the meeting said. (more…)

It’s not yet on the Trump Schedule, however additional people are reporting a likelihood of a return visit by President-elect Donald Trump to Louisiana.  
The last trip by Donald Trump and Mike Pence was during the severe flooding earlier in the year, where both candidates wanted to show their support for the community and relief efforts.   Hillary Clinton also promised to visit, but never did. 
There is an ongoing Senate race in Louisiana where the republican state treasurer John Kennedy is favored to win the election.  A visit by Donald Trump would surely boost their supporters.

BATON ROUGE – President-elect Donald Trump is expected in Baton Rouge Friday afternoon, multiple sources told WBRZ Tuesday.
Sources spoke on condition of anonymity as the event is still being planned.  Two sources with knowledge of a planned visit said staff were trying to find a venue.  Before the election, Trump’s schedule was regularly updated with seemingly spur-of-the-moment rallies that were heavily attended.  Events are known to attract thousands of people.

The Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi is attempting to push back against increasing nationalistic sentiments by establishing a referendum tomorrow to fundamentally adjust the political powers of central governance.

In essence, tomorrow Italians will vote “YES” to approve of Renzi’s referendum, or “NO” to oppose his referendum.  The referendum itself is a wide ranging construct intended to realign and centralize political power away from Italy’s current regional influences.
An analogy for Americans might be to think of Italy’s referendum as the elimination of the U.S. constitution’s 10th Amendment.  [Which essentially says all powers not directly given to the federal government are necessarily retained by the states.]   Italy’s vote tomorrow is to determine if their regions (states) are willing to cede power to Renzi’s centralized (federal) government. Media reports of Agustin Carstens resignation as chief of Mexico’s central bank have left MSM pundits and even business analysts scratching their heads. It appears no-one has any idea why Carstens is leaving… well, almost no-one.

The non-discussed story is the hidden story that has been visible yet kept quiet for over five years. In essence, what Carstens knows, and what only Carstens knows, is the scope and scale of Mexico’s economic (central finance bank) dependency on the outflow of dollars, hidden U.S. money.
Early this year, it was discussed –for the first time– that effective in 2015 Mexican Remittances exceeded the scale and scope of Mexico’s entire oil and energy export sector. The single-year guesstimate was approximately $25 billion. (more…)
