Another Boko Haram Attack in Nigeria Border Town Kills 300

300? …And yet people wonder why the Nigerian government has not cracked down.  If a group of terrorists can wipe out an entire town in minutes, the government has no proclivity to rush in against them.   Boko Haram is just as well armed as the government thanks to the Libyan Garage Sale sponsored by Clinton, Power, Rice and Obama.

bokoharamfighters(Associated Press) An attack by Boko Haram Islamists in a northeastern Nigerian town on the Cameroon border has killed hundreds of people, a local senator and witnesses said Wednesday.

News of the gruesome attack in Gamboru Ngala emerged hours after Islamists stormed the town on Monday, but casualty figures had remained unclear.

Area senator Ahmed Zanna told AFP that “the death toll from the attack is around 300,” while residents said more than 100 bodies had been collected so far and that the toll was likely rise.  (link)

(Via Pam Geller)   They set houses on fire and shot those who tried to escape. The only thing more overwhelming than the body count in the global jihad is the denial-apathy-apologetics of the West. And there is something more heinous than the conquest and slaughter rooted in jihadic doctrine, and that is the silence and the sanction of the West.

Selective Moral Outrage – The Progressive Left and Selective “Boko Haram” Islamist Concerns

Does anyone else see a trail of historical similarity within the latest Boko Haram #BringBackOurGirls response from U.S. Political media ?

victory - obamaSept 2013 – When a shopping mall in Kenya came under attack (Massacre in Kenya) from Boko Haram Islamic Terrorists most U.S. media avoided the bigger discussion.   Some even claimed it was angry shoppers resorting to violence.

April 14th 2014 – When a Nigerian bus station came under attack (Massacre in Nigeria) from Boko Haram Islamic Terrorists, again most U.S. media avoided the bigger discussion.   71 people killed and 124 wounded.

April 16th 2014 –  Initially when 100 Nigerian school girls were abducted by Boko Haram Islamic terrorists, the U.S. media were silent.    Four days later, April 20th, that number climbed to 234 girls abducted.   Still nothing in the U.S. media.

However, all of a sudden, PRESTO,  around May 1st the progressive media picked up on the Nigerian abduction story and began a social media campaign.  (more…)

Number of Nigerian School Girls Kidnapped By Boko Haram Now Climbs To 234…

bokoharamfightersCHIBOK, Nigeria — Some 234 girls are missing from the northeast Nigerian school attacked last week by Islamic extremists, significantly more than the 85 reported by education officials, parents told the state governor Monday.
The higher figure came out a week after the kidnappings when the Borno state governor insisted a military escort take him to the town. Parents told the governor that officials would not listen to them when they drew up their list of names of missing children and the total reached 234.
The discrepancy in the figures could not immediately be resolved. (more…)

A security source who requested anonymity said the attackers were members of Boko Haram, a radical group whose name means “Western education is forbidden.”
The group has repeatedly attacked schools in the northeast during an insurgency that has killed thousands since 2009. (more…)

The Religion Of Peace Strikes Again – Muslim 'Boko Haram' Bombs Nigerian Bus Station, 71 Killed, 124 Wounded….

If Islamic terrorists took down a plane with 200 people -anywhere- it would lead the national news on every network.    But if Islamic terrorists take the same number of victims via a mass transit bus bomb, in an African country, it won’t even merit a passing glance….

A Trip Around Dear Leader's Partial Globe – "Lightbringer Edition"….

Sometimes it helps to pause and reflect, then evaluate for yourself:

IRAN – In 2009, from the now infamous Cairo Speech, an uprising of the student led “Green Movement” striving for a voice amid the heavy hand of hard-line Islamist governance began.   President Obama chose to reach out to Iran’s leadership and ignored the calls for assistance from the young reformers.   The Green Party was killed.  The Mullahs reigned supreme.  Through inaction Obama sided with the Islamists.

Tunisian immigrantsTUNISIA – (Where the West claimed the “Arab Spring” began)  Tunis caught the global political elites off guard.  It should not have come as a surprise.  We were outlining the growing immigration powder keg for years.   Tunis exploded as a consequence of Ben Ali and Quadaffi taking billions from the EU to shut the immigration gates.
Simultaneously, in the WEST, the more willing to engage ‘New Media’ began to report the speeches from UK, France and Germany that Multi-culturalism had failed.   However, few connected the dots to Tunis and how the shutting of the North African gates created a bottleneck within Tunisia and Libya.   It was simply a matter of time before economic anxiety exploded within the cultural petri-dish.  It did, in a big way.

If He Believes It, It Must Be True – Article and President Obama Interview Worth Digesting

The Weekly Standard has some excellent analysis of a VERY insightful interview given by President Obama to  Jeff Goldberg of Bloomberg Media.

The Full Obama foreign policy interview is HERE.  (A must read for those who tackle understanding of what motivates the current administration at the core.)

president obama and jeff goldbergWeekly Standard – On the eve of the Netanyahu visit to Washington, President Obama gave a lengthy interview to Jeffrey Goldberg that shows a chief executive who has learned next to nothing about the world in his five years in office.

First, kudos to Goldberg: he pressed Obama repeatedly, challenging vague formulations and seeking clarity. Goldberg pushed Obama hard, especially on Iran and Syria.

Obama isn’t good off the cuff, especially when challenged; he is far better with a prepared speech. And what emerged is an awful portrait of the president and his conception of the world.

Take Syria. Here’s what Obama said: (more…)

U.S. Military “Advisors” On Ground In Somalia…. [ Land Of The Bandits ]

…. Out from the shadows.

(Via Stars and Stripes) The U.S. military secretly deployed a small number of trainers and advisers to Somalia in October, the first time regular troops have been stationed in the war-ravaged country since1993, when two helicopters were shot down and 18 Americans killed in the “Black Hawk Down” disaster.

A cell of U.S. military personnel has been in the Somali capital of Mogadishu to advise and coordinate operations with African troops fighting to wrest control of the country from the al-Shabab militia, an Islamist group whose leaders have professed loyalty to al-Qaida, according to three U.S. military officials. The Rise of al Qaeda – Excellent Interactive USA Today Article Worth Reading

Serendipity strikes again 😀 – Generally the large media conglomerates, who operate on a self identity of liberal alignment, get it wrong.   However, every once in a while they can set their ideology on a side table and construct quality information.

This is one of those rare but valuable instances.

al Qaeda

The White House is probably definitely having fits right now, because this USA Today outline destroys the Obama administration’s false claims of “al-Qaeda being on the run“.

[…] The chaos of the Arab Spring revolutions, al-Qaeda’s shift to a more bottom-up structure and a perceived pullback of U.S. influence in the Middle East are behind the spread of America’s No. 1 enemy in the world, say several analysts who study the core group in Pakistan and affiliates who swear allegiance to it.

The latest and most stark example came this week in Iraq, where al-Qaeda militants seized control of government buildings and districts of Fallujah and Ramadi, cities that were liberated from jihadist control by American troops  during the Iraq War. (link)

…. About Our “Real Story Of Libya” Series

While assembling Part 4, to discuss the actual consequences from the short-sighted Obama/Clinton U.S. policy toward Libya in 2011, it became obvious that a key aspect is missing.   The “real” cause of the Arab Spring.

Kaddaffi, Hosni Mubarak, Abdullah Salah, and Ben Ali. "The Arab Spring Dictators"
Kaddaffi, Hosni Mubarak, Abdullah Salah, and Ben Ali. “The Arab Spring Dictators”

Having travelled in the area, against all prior research, and with hundreds of correspondence conversations, it just hit me like a ton of bricks that perhaps most people don’t know “why” it started.

As I began to assemble the reference points, and outline, this article appeared.    The substance contained inside that article further solidified the need to lay out the big picture before getting down into the micro-level consequences of Obama’s modern day Libyan folly.

The Westernized media version of what started the Arab Spring in Tunisia all revolve around some ubiquitous and vague talk of freedom, and a local market owner, Mohamed Bouazizi,  setting himself on fire in protest to oppressive government. (more…)
