Axios is positioning this announcement as FTX asking for political donations to be returned.  However, the request is realistically from the FTX debtors.

(Via Axios) – Bankrupt crypto exchange FTX is sending notices to former donor recipients asking for the donated funds to be returned, the company said in a press release Sunday.

Why it matters: Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried and FTX Digital Markets Co-CEO Ryan Salame were two of the largest political donors during the last election cycle. Now the company’s debtors want the money back.

• • Bankman-Fried primarily backed Democrats and was the party’s second-largest donor last cycle with around $37 million in contributions.
  • Salame’s $19 million to Republicans made him the party’s 10th largest donor.

The big picture: FTX’s debtors are confidentially contacting “political figures, political action funds and other recipients of contributions or other payments.” (more)

A judge in California ordered the release of the police body camera footage from the attack against former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi.  {Direct Rumble Link} h/t Gateway Pundit

Within the footage you can see attacker David DePape and victim Mr. Pelosi answering the front door after the police arrive.  Both are holding a hammer as the officer instructs DePape to “drop the hammer.”  At that moment, things get violent as Mr. DePape pulls the hammer away from Pelosi and swings violently at his head. This could be interesting…. According to multiple media sources [LINK] a California judge has ordered the police bodycam footage of the incident at Paul and Nancy Pelosi’s home to be released to the public.

The order to the clerk of the court was made immediately on Wednesday and the released footage could come as soon as today.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Footage of the attack on former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband will be released to the public after a judge on Wednesday denied prosecutors’ request to keep it secret.

San Francisco Superior Court Judge Stephen M. Murphy ruled there was no reason to keep the footage secret, especially after prosecutors played it in open court during a preliminary hearing last month, according to Thomas R. Burke, a San Francisco-based lawyer who represented The Associated Press and a host of other news agencies in their attempt to access the evidence.

In the aftermath of the 2020 election House democrats led by Nancy Pelosi directed a national pantomime from Washington DC that extremists were running amok and terrorizing congress.  The January 6 Committee was intended to further establish that narrative.

Pelosi called up the national guard, put fences and barbed wire around congress then installed metal detectors, all as part of the theater for manufacturing the domestic violent extremist narrative.  The media engineered the supportive narrative and the ridiculous pantomime continued throughout the past two years.   However, as congress now changes hands and republicans take control, the fences are taken down and the metal detectors are being removed.

First, some context:  ♦ A trillion dollars is one-thousand billions. ♦ A trillion seconds is 31,709 years. ♦ The last federal budget that went through regular order was signed into law in September of 2007. ♦ Today is December 23rd. ♦ Obamacare was passed in the Senate December 23, 2009.

Today, the Democrat controlled House of Representatives has just passed the Senate constructed $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill.  The massive spending bill now blocks the incoming Republican congress from impeding the Biden agenda and heads directly to the installed occupant of the White House for signature.

Most of the House republicans who voted to approve the spending bill are retiring, they include: Liz Cheney (WY), Rodney Davis (IL),  Brian Fitzpatrick (AL), Jaime Herrera Beutler (WA), Chris Jacobs (NY), John Katko (NY), Adam Kinzinger (IL), Fred Upton (MI), and Steve Womack (AR).

The 2022 Omnibus bill includes $45 billion for Ukraine in addition to changes in election laws intended to block the American people from interfering in the legislative business of Washington DC in the future.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi celebrated the House passage calling the bill “truly a package for the people,” where people are defined as those who live and congregate in Washington DC to indulge themselves at taxpayers’ expense.  There is no larger disconnect.

Speaker Pelosi continued by saying, “members have planes to catch, gifts to wrap, carols to sing, religious services to attend to,” she said, adding that the time reminded her of an English song: “Christmas is coming, goose is getting fat, please put a penny in the old man’s hat.” No, I’m not making that up – she said that.

Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee used an arcane law, well over 100 years old that permits the Chairman Committee, Chair Richard Neal (D-Mass.), to review the personal tax filings of any American, in order to obtain Donald Trump’s personal tax filings from the IRS.

However, even in the hands of the committee, strict privacy laws still applied to the tax filings unless the committee interceded and voted to make them public.  That’s exactly what the Democrats in the committee did today with a party-line vote.

The Democrats have set a new precedent in congress for any party in power to demand the tax filings of any individual American and then release them to the public.  When the Republicans take control of the committee in January 2023, will they demand the Tax returns of Barack Obama, or Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden, or Mark Zuckerberg, or Chuck Schumer, or Jeffrey Epstein, or Nancy & Paul Pelosi and then make them public?

WASHINGTON DC – House Democrats said they will release several years worth of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns in the coming days after a party-line vote Tuesday night to make the long-hidden filings public.

Lawmakers said it would take some time to first redact sensitive information from the documents, such as Trump’s Social Security number and address.

The timing is transparent, given all of the political donations organized by FTX Cryptocurrency CEO Sam Bankman-Fried for politicians, mostly Democrats, in office.

On the day before he was scheduled to give testimony to congress, a testimony likely to be entertaining with representatives asking specific questions about political contributions by the known fraud MBS to other specific members of congress, the cryptocurrency executive is arrested in the Bahamas.

The crypto billionaire, 30, was arrested in The Bahamas – where he has been hiding out since his $32 billion empire came crashing down last month – and he is now facing criminal charges in the US.

When it comes to congress and the graft that is Ukraine, nothing should come as a surprise.  Last month, the Biden administration asked Congress for another $37.7 billion in support for Ukraine. If that passes, and it certainly will, Congress will have approved more than $100 billion in Ukraine-related spending.

To wit, yesterday congress slipped Ukraine Debt Payment Relief, into the 4,400 page National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which will make the Senate happy as the intent of the upper chamber is to continue the laundry operation.

(Via Fox News) – The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2023 passed the House Thursday afternoon in a 350-80 vote. Included in that 4,400-page bill is a section on “Ukraine Debt Payment Relief.”

That section says the U.S. treasury secretary will instruct U.S. representatives of international financial institutions to “use the voice, vote, and influence of the United States to advocate that the respective institution immediately provide appropriate debt service relief to Ukraine.”

It instructs Treasury to commence “immediate efforts” with other governments and commercial creditors to “pursue comprehensive debt payment relief for Ukraine.”

All 12 railroad unions vote individually to ratify their contracts, unless congress intervenes and imposes a contract which forces all to abide.  The railroad unions representing a majority of the railroad workers remain in dispute with the currently proposed contract with no resolution in sight and a potential labor union strike looming on December 9th.

If one union within the collective group strikes, all of the unions — which represent more than 115,000 rail workers — would almost certainly join in solidarity, triggering an industry-wide freight rail work stoppage.

With the unions at an impasse over sick pay, Joe Biden has asked congress to intervene and impose a contract based on the terms of an earlier agreement.

(White House) –  I am calling on Congress to pass legislation immediately to adopt the Tentative Agreement between railroad workers and operators – without any modifications or delay – to avert a potentially crippling national rail shutdown.
 
This agreement was approved by labor and management negotiators in September. On the day that it was announced, labor leaders, business leaders, and elected officials all hailed it as a fair resolution of the dispute between the hard-working men and women of the rail freight unions and the companies in that industry.
 
The deal provides a historic 24% pay raise for rail workers. It provides improved health care benefits. And it provides the ability of operating craft workers to take unscheduled leave for medical needs.  Since that time, the majority of the unions in the industry have voted to approve the deal.

Has anyone stopped to ask why the United States taxpayer is responsible for funding the government operations of Ukraine, to include the paychecks and pensions of Ukrainian government officials, or nah?

As Joe Biden and various Democrat and Republican leaders are gleefully willing to keep pushing U.S. taxpayer money into Ukraine, there does come a time when we have to start asking some questions about the disconnect in regard to the opinion of the American people.   Tucker Carlson noted this question last night.  WATCH:
