“The Committee’s purpose in requesting President Trump’s tax returns has nothing to do with funding or staffing issues at the IRS and everything to do with releasing the President’s tax information to the public,” Trump’s non-pretending attorneys wrote to the court in October.  However, today the Supreme Court maintains the pretense of a valid legislative purpose.

(Washington DC) – The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to block a request by the House Ways and Means Committee for former President Trump’s tax returns. There were no noted dissents.

The decision likely means that the returns will be released to the Committee immediately, ending a multi-year legal battle.

Trump filed an emergency application at the Supreme Court on Oct. 31 to block the release of his tax information at least until the court considered whether it wanted to hear full argument on the issue. Trump similarly lost his case in the lower courts, most recently with a panel of the D.C. Court of Appeals ruling unanimously that the Committee’s request for tax returns was constitutional.

NBC journalist Miquel Almaguer reported on The Today Show {Direct Rumble Link} that Paul Pelosi opened the door, didn’t declare an emergency….. and then walked back to his attacker and was attacked.  The report by Almaguer contradicted the FBI probable cause statement as written. NBC immediately scrubbed the Almaguer report after broadcast and then suspended journalist Miquel Almaguer.

However, now that the midterm election is over, NBC Bay Area reporter Bigad Shaban did some further research, talking directly to police sources who reviewed the body cam footage.  Mr. Shaban confirmed the details of the original NBC reporting by Miguel Almaguer on November 4th that led to his suspension. Something sketchy is going on here.

The most divisive woman in modern American politics announced today she will not seek to remain in House leadership but will remain as a member of congress representing San Francisco, California. The rule of Nancy Pelosi has ended, but her influence will remain.

Following a midterm election which removed Democrats from the majority in the House of Representatives, Speaker Pelosi announced her decision today from the floor of the House.

Citing her firm devotion to her Catholic faith and referencing the need for her to continue in congress on behalf of the babies born today, Satan’s mistress delivered a sanctimonious diatribe that was embraced with a standing ovation by the Democrats in congress.  Video below:

The White House is urging Nancy Pelosi to utilize the lame duck congressional session and construct a massive omnibus spending bill that will wrap Ukraine funding, COVID spending and a federal budget extension via continuous resolution.  The request for Ukraine funding is an additional $38 billion.

Federal funds to support FEMA and hurricane recovery efforts will likely be part of the bargaining chips. Essentially, the sausage ingredients are: if congress doesn’t give Zelenskyy more money, then DeSantis will not get federal financial assistance.

If you don’t support Ukraine, you’re a Russian operative.

WASHINGTON DC – The Biden administration sent a letter to Congress on Tuesday outlining nearly a $38 billion request to help Ukraine continue fending off Russian attacks.

The administration is also asking for $10 billion in emergency health funding, with more than $9 billion going toward Covid vaccine access, next-generation Covid vaccines, long Covid research and more. About $750 million would be spent on efforts to control the spread of monkeypox, hepatitis C and HIV.

Congress has so far provided about $66 billion for Ukraine and other war-related needs. The administration argues that about three-quarters of that funding has either been spent or is committed to specific purposes.

An administration official said the White House plans to request additional disaster relief in the coming weeks to help with hurricane and wildfire recovery but didn’t provide any tentative figure.

Something sketchy is going on here.  NBC aired a report on the attack against Paul Pelosi that directly contradicts the FBI affidavit of the events when police arrived at the Pelosi home.  NBC then deleted the broadcast report from Twitter and their website saying it “did not meet their journalistic standard.”

It’s worth noting the contradiction stems from the FBI report written by FBI Agent Stephanie Minor, who is relatively new to the FBI: “I am a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) and have been an FBI Special Agent since 2019.” [Source, page 2, item 4 “affiant background“] Why would the FBI use such a junior agent for such a high-profile case?  It seemed odd when the FBI affidavit was released.

Apparently, the San Francisco home of Paul and Nancy Pelosi has real time CCTV security remotely monitored by the Capitol Hill Police.

However, as the story is told, during the attack on Paul Pelosi, no one was watching the CCTV monitors.  But it does appear there is a recording.

(Fox News) –  Officers from the U.S. Capitol Police have live video surveillance outside the Pelosi’s San Francisco residence, but weren’t watching it when David DePape, 42, allegedly attacked Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, sources tell Fox News.

The officers were monitoring a live-feed of many cameras, which include surveillance of the capitol complex, but also monitor some points away from the capitol, which include the Pelosi residence.

According to sources, an officer was monitoring the feeds and saw police lights on a dark street outside the Pelosi’s residence. When going through surveillance footage, the officer saw the alleged attack on Oct. 28, when DePape allegedly struck Paul Pelosi, people briefed on the incident said, according to the report. The Democrat effort to obtain President Trump’s tax records has been an ongoing battle for several years [background here].  The democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee have been using Lawfare in order to present a false legislative justification for them, in an ongoing effort to find something -anything- to use against President Trump.

The Supreme Court already decided on case in President Trump’s favor [Trump v Mazars] in a separation of powers issue; however, the witch hunt continued.  In a separate case today, and with Chief Judge Roberts trying to extricate the judicial branch from the ongoing battle, Judge Roberts granted a stay until after the 2022 election.

Essentially, the Chief Judge appears to see the partisan nature of the demand, and in an effort to keep the Supreme Court out of the battle, he has put the outcome of the 2022 midterm election as the fulcrum for this next round of battle between President Trump and the Democrats in the House.  If the Republicans win the majority, the issue should seemingly disappear.

The motive behind the decision seems clear. From the position of Roberts, it would appear this approach is the better distancing procedure.

Alternative media outlets have begun to look a little deeper behind the narrative described by media about the attacker of Paul Pelosi, David DePape.  The results do not match the media narrative.

Michael Shellenberger outlines on his substack article: […] “DePape lived with a notorious local nudist in a Berkeley home, complete with a Black Lives Matter sign in the window and an LGBT rainbow flag, emblazoned with a marijuana symbol, hanging from a tree. A closer look reveals the characteristics of a homeless encampment, or what Europeans call “an open drug scene.” In the driveway, there is a broken-down camper van. On the street is a yellow school bus, which neighbors said DePape occasionally stayed in. Both are filled with garbage typical of such structures in homeless encampments. People come and go from the house and the vehicles, neighbors say, in part to partake in the use of a potent psychedelic drug, ibogaine.

Neighbors described DePape as a homeless addict with a politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior. “What I know about the family is that they’re very radical activists,” said one of DePape’s neighbors, a woman who only gave her first name, Trish. “They seem very left. They are all about the Black Lives Matter movement. Gay pride. But they’re very detached from reality. They have called the cops on several of the neighbors, including us, claiming that we are plotting against them. It’s really weird to see that they are willing to be so aggressive toward somebody else who is also a lefty.”  (more)

In a very odd and yet scant set of details, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was attacked shortly after 2am by a hammer wielding suspect from Berkeley named David DePape (42).

DePape has been identified as a nudist/activist from the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco. Speaker Pelosi was not home at the time; she was in Washington DC.

(San Francisco) – […] San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said Depape, 42, is now facing charges of attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary and several other additional felonies stemming from the incident after 2 a.m.

Scott said police responded to a wellbeing check and found Depape and Paul Pelosi, 82, struggling over a hammer. He said officers then witnessed Depape pull the hammer away from Pelosi and “violently assaulted” him.

Officers then immediately tackled Depape, disarmed him and took him into custody, while requesting emergency backup and rendering medical aid at the scene. The motive for the attack remains under investigation. (read more)
