The U.S-Mexico border is in a state of near collapse.  U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents are overwhelmed with thousands of illegal aliens crossing the border daily.  According to estimates the number of illegal aliens who crossed the border since Biden took office is somewhere between two and five million people…. and the crisis is only getting worse.

Today Louisiana Representative Clay Higgins (CD-03) asked Dept of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Majorkas to define border failure, if that is not what we have currently underway.  WATCH:

The painfully obvious answer is – it’s not a DHS failure because the massive influx of illegal aliens is the success of the plan.  The border crisis is a feature, not a flaw, of the Biden administration agenda.

The Biden administration has created a crisis at the U.S-Mexico border by enticing migrants, removing the remain in Mexico policy, and doing nothing to stop the massive influx of illegal aliens.

When asked if the White House feels any responsibility for the death of National Guardsman Bishop Evans, who drowned while attempting to rescue two drug smugglers, a callous, cold and dismissive Jen Psaki says:

...”I would note that the National Guard worked for the states, and so he is an employee of the Tex- — Texas National Guard, and his efforts and his operation were directed by there, not by the federal government, in this — in this effort, in this apparatus.”

The level of callousness in this response is sickening.  Bishop Evans would never have been in that situation if it wasn’t for the specific ideological policies creating unlawfully open borders by the Biden administration.

As millions of global economic migrants have been flooding into Central America and Mexico, awaiting the official date for the U.S. Southern border gates to be removed allowing unfettered open border travel, the people behind Joe Biden have announced May 23rd will be the official open border date.

Officially known as the Title-42 border control effort, the prior CDC determination that blocked cross border travel based on the COVID-19 pandemic, the restriction will be removed effective May 23rd.  There are millions of global migrants backed-up below the southern U.S. border awaiting the change.

While many voices within the professional political class will deny the removal of Title-42 will result in a totally open border, those who operate the collapsing process of border security have noted it will be impossible to legally process all of the entrants, and the Biden administration have signaled they have no intent to turn anyone away for any reason.

Effective 5/23/22 any entry impediment at the U.S. southern border will cease to exist.

CDC Announcement – “Today, following a thorough reassessment, the CDC Director is issuing a Public Health Determination and terminating an Order under 42 U.S.C. §§ 265, 268 and 42 C.F.R. § 71.40 (i.e., “Title 42”), suspending the right to introduce migrants into the United States. In consultation with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), this termination will be implemented on May 23, 2022, to enable DHS time to implement appropriate COVID-19 mitigation protocols, such as scaling up a program to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to migrants and prepare for resumption of regular migration under Title 8.

The preparation window has closed.

Given the destabilized and tenuous nature of the current supply chain, many people wondered if the Biden administration would actually be stupid enough to follow through with a truck driver vaccination mandate.  The answer is yes.  Please conduct yourselves accordingly.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) updated their guidance yesterday [LINK HERE] and put a hard date of tomorrow, January 22nd, for the trucker vaccine mandate at all border crossings and ferry terminals.   Canada put the vaccine mandate into effect last week, January 15th.

[Dept. of Homeland Security] – [..]  “Starting on January 22, 2022, the Department of Homeland Security will require that non-U.S. individuals entering the United States via land ports of entry or ferry terminals along our Northern and Southern borders be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be prepared to show related proof of vaccination,” said Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas. “These updated travel requirements reflect the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to protecting public health while safely facilitating the cross-border trade and travel that is critical to our economy.”

These changes – which were first announced in October 2021 and made in consultation with the White House and several federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – will align public health measures that govern land travel with those that govern incoming international air travel.

Perhaps the mainstream media is starting to wake up.  NBC is now reporting that cross-border auto parts and food shipments may start being disrupted as the trucker vaccine mandate begins.  Approximately 60 to 75% of all U.S. truckers are not vaccinated.  The cross-border vaccine mandate for American truckers begins January 22nd as part of the Dept of Homeland Security protocol.

In October DHS announced:

…”beginning in early January 2022, DHS will require that all inbound foreign national travelers crossing U.S. land or ferry POEs – whether for essential or non-essential reasons – be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide related proof of vaccination. This approach will provide ample time for essential travelers such as truckers, students, and healthcare workers to get vaccinated.” (link)

The Canadian trucker vaccine mandate began January 15th, the U.S. mandate begins this weekend, January 22nd.  Given the scale of out of season fresh fruit and vegetable shipments from South and Central America, as well as Mexico, we can anticipate serious issues in the food supply chain.  The NBC article highlights trade with Canada, but that’s miniscule when compared to the trade we get from Mexico.

When I first saw the headline about Joe Biden paying illegal aliens $450,000 per person in reparations, I thought it was a joke.  So I contacted a friend who works for DHS in Washington DC to check.  I just received independent confirmation this story is entirely legit.

The Justice Department, Health and Human Services and Dept of Homeland Security are in negotiations with representatives from the ACLU and lawyers representing illegal aliens to pay out $1,000,000 per family for the hardship they endured in crossing the border illegally in 2017 and 2018.   Approximately 1,000 families will each receive a million dollars giving the total settlement a taxpayer cost of around $1 billion or more.

WASHINGTON—The Biden administration is in talks to offer immigrant families that were separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation, according to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma.

The U.S. Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services are considering payments that could amount to close to $1 million a family, though the final numbers could shift, the people familiar with the matter said. Most of the families that crossed the border illegally from Mexico to seek asylum in the U.S. included one parent and one child, the people said. Many families would likely get smaller payouts, depending on their circumstances, the people said.

Panama Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes told Axios News that she had meetings this week with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and members of Congress to warn them that another massive caravan of 60,000 Haitian migrants are now en route to the U.S-Mexico border.

(VIA AXIOS) […]  Mouynes expressed her exasperation to Axios after spending months warning leaders across the hemisphere of the impeding Haitian wave.

• “We’ve engaged with every single authority that we can think of, that we can come across, to say, ‘Please, let’s pay attention to this,'” Mouynes said.
• A Homeland Security spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

By the numbers: More than 85,000 migrants have passed through Panama since January — most of them Haitians.

• Roughly 20,000 to 25,000 Haitians have already made the trek to the U.S.-Mexico border, with most being allowed to enter the United States.
• Beyond those already admitted or deported back to Haiti, another 60,000 are most likely still on their way north, the minister said.

The big picture: Panama is often the first country to provide medical help, food and shelter to northbound migrants — despite their travels through multiple South American countries like Colombia and Peru.  (read more)

Well, this just makes things exponentially more f**ked up.   Earlier today, Joe Biden claimed the mounted Texas Border Patrol officers were “strapping” and whipping Haitians who were attempting to illegally cross the Rio Grande river into Del Rio, Texas.  Biden declares to the nation: “Those People will pay“…

And now the rest of the administration and media will have to join with the Biden narrative and push the fake news.   Which is exactly what happened when DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked moments ago.

Now that Biden is pushing a transparently obvious lie; and now the administration and media are forced to support this transparently obvious lie; and now the leftist supporters in America will have to maintain support for this transparently obvious lie; and that only further divides the country.

A rather remarkable development. The Biden administration has announced that all foreign travelers to the U.S. must be vaccinated. “All foreign travelers flying to the U.S. will need to demonstrate proof of vaccination before boarding, as well as proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within three days of flight”, said White House COVID-19 coordinator Jeff Zients, who announced the new policy on Monday.” (LINK)

However, illegal aliens from around the world who cross the southern border from Mexico into the United States do not have to provide proof of vaccination or COVID test.  WATCH:

If this seems like a bizarro-world standard…  it actually gets worse.

Today, Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas traveled to Del Rio to evaluate the crisis of 16,000+ illegal aliens, mostly from Haiti, camped out under the overpass.  “We are very concerned that Haitians who are taking this irregular migration path are receiving false information that the border is open or that temporary protected status is available,” Mayorkas commented during prepared remarks to the press.   However, approximately 30 minutes before Mayorkas made those remarks, DHS told CBP to grant asylum entry to 8,000 of those illegal migrants from Haiti.

DHS grants 8,000 Haitians entry into the U.S…..  DHS then walks to a microphone and says Haitians are receiving false information that entry permitted.

The Biden administration cannot even lie well.
