Reuters Poll – Donald Trump Best Candidate To Deal With Terrorism and National Security…

“[…] Trump has argued he would take the fight directly to ISIS by bombing oil fields that are occupied by the group. He has opposed bringing Syrian refugees to the United States and argued for building camps where they are already located.

“Everybody else keeps talking about what should’ve been done and what could’ve been done, instead of their opinion of what they would do now,” said Trump supporter Mildred Borden, 58, of Pennsylvania.

BOOM! – By overwhelming margins voters find Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton (20% each nationally) as best suited candidates to address the threat of Terrorism and National Security.  According to a new Reuters Poll of 1,106 respondents Tuesday.

When the field is pared down to a choice between Republicans here’s the polling response:

(Reuters) American voters are evenly split between Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Democratic rival Hillary Clinton as their top choice to address the issue of terrorism following the Paris attacks, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

Asked to choose from the entire field of 2016 presidential hopefuls, 20 percent of 1,106 respondents surveyed between Nov. 16-17 opted for Trump. An equal share of the electorate picked Clinton. (more…)

Why Is Donald Trump So Formidable? – Perhaps Because He Owns The Downside…

Regardless of who you support in the 2016 Presidential primary race, most will admit there’s one strategic advantage held by Donald Trump over all other candidates – Trump’s willingness to “own the downside“.

trump vs bush

All policies and proposals have a “downside“, there’s no such thing as a policy proposal with benefit to all and harm to none.   This empirical truth is toxic to professional politicians – therefore they spend an inordinate amount of time using pretzel logic to avoid it.

As a direct consequence of avoidance, the media love to use the downside as a weapon.  For the first time in recent political memory Donald Trump represents a candidacy who is unafraid of their spear; and as a consequence, immune to the damage. (more…)

Bandwagon Alert – Candidates Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz Rush To Catch-up With Frontrunner Trump On Syrian Issues…

In a hilariously transparent rush to catch-up to Donald J Trump’s prior position (asserting no Syrian refugees should be granted access to the U.S.A), candidate Marco Rubio joins with another ‘johnny-come-latelyTed Cruz:

In light of the terrorist attacks in Paris, the Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio on Sunday said the US should not take in more Syrian refugees.

The Florida senator had previously signalled openness to relocating some of the millions fleeing the Syrian civil war to American shores.

Marco Rubio Says He and Ted Cruz Hold Similar Positions On Immigration Issue…

Senator Marco Rubio and Senator Ted Cruz are competing for the ‘moderate amnesty vote’.

Via CNN – Rubio, speaking in Hilton Head, South Carolina, Thursday, noted Cruz’s support for H-1B visas as the two senators spar over broader immigration policy.

“Ted is a supporter of legalizing people that are in this country illegally,” Rubio said. “In fact, when the Senate bill was proposed he proposed legalizing people that were here illegally — he proposed giving them work permits. He’s also supported a massive expansion of the green cards. He’s supported a massive expansion of the H-1B program – a 500% increase.”

He added: “If you look at it, I don’t think our positions are dramatically different.” (link)

Mark Steyn Also Notices WSJ/FNB Avoid Contrasting Rubio…

Mark Steyn also notices how Fox Business News and the Wall Street Journal were in no hurry to compare or contrast Marco Rubio with Donald Trump on the issue of immigration enforcement, borders, deportation and Rubio’s gang-of-eight affiliations.

fnb debate 5

The debate?

Well, I thought the most interesting moment came when Donald Trump brought up Eisenhower:

Let me just tell you that Dwight Eisenhower—a good president, great president, people liked him. ‘I Like Ike’, right? The expression ‘I Like Ike’? – moved a million and a half illegal immigrants out of this country, moved them just beyond the border: They came back. Moved them again, beyond the border: They came back. Then moved them way south. They never came back.

To the establishments of both parties and the media, Trump is beyond the pale. Yet he keeps, confidently, moving beyonder. And, as he does so, he’s moving the pale. NBC News.

Tripwire – Of Course Wall Street Wants/Needs Marco Rubio…

The currently considered TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) trade deal has the potential to be the fulcrum under every plank in the 2016 presidential election. Many people view immigration as the #1 concern underlying further economic issues – however, few people recognize that immigration is actually part of the TPP construct.

You can learn more about TPP in summary form HERE and HERE

So lets take this conversation back to where it belongs, at the point where massive money intersects with consequential presidential politics.

TPP trade 2

Globalists, via Wall Street international financiers, are determined to get TPP passed into law.  Only a few of the GOP candidates stand in the way; and off those few only one serious candidate is a risk to their objectives.   Candidate Donald Trump is the primary roadblock to the current globalist goals…. And as such, they support Marco Rubio. (more…)

Candidate Marco Rubio Tries To Hide His Support For Trans-Pacific Trade Deal…

Ted Cruz isn’t the only presidential candidate trying to hide his support of the globalist trade deal known as TPP.   Marco Rubio is trying a similar approach at avoidance.

It would appear that both Rubio and Cruz have recognized that not only is TPP unpopular, but their support for TPP has the potential to expose their hidden alignments with Wall Street globalists.

This election will be won/lost around this issue – watch.

Marco Rubio - enters race( Via Breitbart ) Marco Rubio declared the Trans-Pacific Partnership to be one of three essential “pillars” of a Rubio Presidency—is now taking issue with a Wall Street Journal news report that lists Rubio as supporting the unpopular Obamatrade pact he voted to fast-track.

The Wall Street Journal article observed that: “Still backing the trade legislation are the party’s establishment wing candidates: Sen. Marco Rubio and former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida and Govs. John Kasich of Ohio and Chris Christie of New Jersey.”

Indeed, it was in the very pages of the Wall Street Journal that on April 29th Rubio wrote: “We must rebuild our own military capabilities, conclude and pass TPP, and renew our support for freedom and the rule of law in Asia.” (more…)

Chuck Schumer: Senator Marco Rubio Is “Totally Committed To Obama’s Immigration Agenda”….

(Via Breitbart) Presumptive Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Chuck Schumer, tells CNN that Marco Rubio was “not only totally committed” to the Obama-backed 2013 immigration expansion bill, but that “his fingerprints are all over that bill.”

Chuck Schumer close uprubio bush

The La Raza-backed Rubio-Schumer immigration bill would have granted amnesty to the illegal alien population and would have expanded immigration levels beyond all known historical precedent— issuing 33 million new immigrants on green cards in the span of a single decade, permanently transforming the U.S. electorate and economy.

Every immigrant with a green card could in turn bring relatives to the United States, collect welfare, and eventually vote and thus cancel out conservative ballots.

“He was not only totally committed— he was in that room with us, with four Democrats, four Republicans… for hours a day, week after week after week,” Schumer told CNN. “His fingerprints are all over that bill. It has a lot of Rubio imprints.” (more…)

Apparently Nate Silver Has Just Discovered The GOPe Splitter Strategy….

We have exhaustively outlined the GOPe road map to insure the nomination of Jeb Bush for the Republican Presidential Candidate in 2016.   While the road map is rather complex, it essentially boils down to a strategy of small accumulated delegate pickups using 15-20% electoral support.

GOP candidates 3

Candidates George Pataki and Jim Gilmore have already been disqualified from the Alabama Primary, yet they remain in the race.  Only a handful of candidates (Bush, Trump, Cruz and to a lesser extent Rubio & Fiorina) have efforts underway to qualify for ballot placement in all of the states with primary dates prior to April 1st 2016.  (more…)

Whoa – Carson Supports Obama Trade – Aligns Position With Establishment GOPe (Jeb, Rubio, Fiorina, Kasich, Christie)…

Wow.  Reset the Polls, This is YUGE !!

Candidate Ben Carson’s support for Obama Trade (TPP) is a massive divergence from most conservatives and now puts him in direct opposition to Donald Trump.

Trump and Carson

(Via Wall Street Journal) Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said Friday that he supports the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement negotiated by the White House – aligning himself more with the GOP’s establishment wing than with the social conservatives who have powered his campaign.

Mr. Carson’s backing of the 12-nation Pacific trade deal places him at odds with Donald Trump, his chief rival for support among anti-establishment Republicans. Mr. Carson had expressed skepticism about the TPP, saying in a June interview with the Huffington Post that he would not give President Barack Obama “fast-track” authority to negotiate the deal.
