A new CNN/ORC Poll today (full pdf below) shows Donald Trump has taken a commanding lead over the rest of the field. An interesting aspect to this poll, it is almost identical to a November 19th Reuters/IPSOS result that CNN and other media sought to dispute at the time. At the time we called it a “Tripwire Poll” in part because it showed Cruz and Rubio unelectable with independent minded voters; and the conformational results today reflect how prescient that declaration actually was:
The poll reflects Trump’s dominance over the rest of the field on the issues voters deem most important to them. He holds massive margins over other Republicans as the candidate most trusted to handle the economy (at 55%, Trump stands 46 percentage points over his nearest competitor), the federal budget (51%, up 41 points), illegal immigration (48%, up 34 points), ISIS (46%, up 31 points) and foreign policy (30%, up 13 points).
A new PPP Poll (full pdf here) from New Hampshire shows the influence of structural GOPe machinations -via corporate media- onto an electorate. Carson – dropping, Rubio – static, Cruz – lifted, Kasich – collapsing, and Christie – surging:
(Via PPP Analysis ) – PPP’s new New Hampshire poll finds Donald Trump’s position in the state pretty much unchanged compared to six weeks ago. He leads with 27% to 13% for Ted Cruz, 11% for Marco Rubio, 10% for Chris Christie, 9% for Ben Carson, 8% for John Kasich, 6% for Carly Fiorina, 5% for Jeb Bush, and 4% for Rand Paul. Rounding out the field in the 1% or less club are Mike Huckabee, George Pataki, and Rick Santorum each at 1%, and Lindsey Graham and Jim Gilmore with less than 1%. (more…)
The latest Ipsos/Reuters Poll (full pdf below) for December was released today. This poll has been consistent over time but unfortunately the registered republican sample size is small. Donald Trump continues to lead the entire field; but there’s an interesting hiccup noted in the “Republican Voter” alone filter – Jeb Bush has better numbers.
After weeks of relentless attacks by media and GOPe rivals, not only does Donald Trump remain at the top of the field but he extends his lead to ten points over the next closest competitor. That which doesn’t eliminate him, only makes him stronger. Meanwhile, Dr. Ben Carson has dropped from 23% to 16%
A new poll from Quinnipiac (full pdf below) shows Rubio, Cruz and Carson now deadlocked in a race for Second Place:
Quinnipiac – Eleven months before the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump is the undisputed leader in the Republican field, as Dr. Ben Carson, in a virtual tie with Trump four weeks ago, drops to third place, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today. (more…)
Oh, we don’t support Obamacare they said. We’ll repeal Obamacare they said. We’ll replace Obamacare with sensible legislation they said. Well, that was prior to the mid-term 2014 election.
This story represents an example of how the GOPe manipulate the electorate into thinking the pea is under the middle shell, while their slight of hand is so experienced the pea isn’t actually under any….
If you don’t enmesh yourself in fully understanding the intricate details of how Washington DC is playing “UniParty” it is almost impossible to keep track of their maneuvers; this too is entirely by design.
As you read this, remember there is no actual federal budget in place. Despite Republicans in control of the House and Senate they never passed a budget for fiscal year 2016 which began October 1st last month. This was/is I.N.T.E.N.T.I.O.N.A.L.
This non-budget SPENDING aspect is critically important to understand because the GOPe forward priorities, which are in full alignment with the White House, are dependent on the electorate not understanding the difference between the budget process, and a process of continuing resolutions. (more…)
Donald Trump 60% -vs- Ben Carson 40%
Donald Trump 57% -vs- Marco Rubio 43%
Donald Trump 57% -vs- Ted Cruz 43%
A new YouGov/Economist Poll (full pdf below) of 2000 national respondents shows Donald Trump with a commanding lead, and beating all GOP rivals in head-to-head matchups.
For the first time Pollsters asked the respondents head-to-head comparisons between Trump, Carson, Cruz and Rubio. The results eliminate yet another promoted myth:
Head-To-Head […] The New York billionaire would defeat Rubio and Cruz by the same margin of 57 percent to 43 percent, and would defeat Carson by a margin of 60 to 40 percent, according to the poll.
The finding is a blow to the hopes of some Republican elites who argue that Trump’s stubborn lead in the race will dissipate once the field winnows and a more mainstream alternative rises (read more).
In a sermon [2013] at an Irving, Texas, megachurch that helped elect Ted Cruz to the United States Senate, Cruz’ father Rafael Cruz indicated that his son was among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as “kings” to take control of all sectors of society, an agenda commonly referred to as the “Seven Mountains” mandate, and “bring the spoils of war to the priests”, thus helping to bring about a prophesied “great transfer of wealth“, from the “wicked” to righteous gentile believers. (Via Quinnipiac) Donald Trump gets 25 percent of Iowa likely Republican Caucus participants in a too-close-to- call race with Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas who is at 23 percent, double his support from four weeks ago, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Dr. Ben Carson has 18 percent, with Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida at 13 percent.
The hilarious agenda of Fox News and their GOPe objectives was evident again this evening when Harris Falkner interrupted live coverage of a Belgium police terror-hunt interview/presser to go back to Fox News Sunday and the pre-recorded Rubio interview.
Falkner (6:02pm): …“Well, I’m,.. I’m sorry to cut you off but we must return to Fox News Sunday and the interview with Marco Rubio”… ROFLMAO ! Whoopsie.
Reader/Commentator Bluto puts hammer to nail. Sometimes it helps to step back and ask the obvious:
I keep asking people: “Can somebody tell me about all the big Rallies for Cruz, Rubio, Bush, Carson, Kasich, Christie??? Are they too having several a week? Does anybody have the listings of previous rallies and upcoming rallies? The location, the venue, the attendances?”
Crickets.
Trump is the only one working. It’s glaring. He’s not just working, he’s been chugging along lapping the field day-in and day-out for months now. Nobody is attracting the people like Trump. Nobody.
But wait, that’s going to annoy the naysayers that attack his supporters as idiots & low information boobs. So let’s take the crowds out of it. (more…)
