(Via Weekly Standard) An institute named for the father of possible presidential candidate Rand Paul has published a piece saying the Charlie Hebdo massacre, like 9/11, was a false flag operation. The claim comes in piece titled, “Charlie Hebdo Shootings: False Flag?,” put online today at the Ron Paul Institute:

“The Charlie Hebdo affair has many of the characteristics of a false flag operation. The attack on the cartoonists’ office was a disciplined professional attack of the kind associated with highly trained special forces; yet the suspects who were later corralled and killed seemed bumbling and unprofessional. Local journalists are reporting that the gunman who executed two NYC police officers as they sat in their patrol car has been identified as 28 year old fugitive Ismaaiyl Brinsley, who allegedly resided in Baltimore, and had traveled to New York City with the specific intent to kill police officers as a type of race based hate fueled twisted “payback” to avenge the recent deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.
Brinsley is reported to have approached the two officers as they were sitting in their patrol car in the notorious crime ridden Bedford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn, New York and began firing rounds into the vehicle before fleeing on foot to the closest subway station where he later committed suicide.  The two officers were transported for Woodhull Medical for treatment, but sadly, both had lost their battle for life as of 5 pm tonight.

If, like most of America, you are busy getting those final adornments ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday, you might have only briefly digested the media version of events.

At 100 or more new reported cases a day
(and, obviously, an unquantified number of unreported cases) coupled with the deliberate “removal” of dead victims from the official tally, it is apparent that the Ebola outbreak continues to rage and is far from contained.
As has been mentioned here and elsewhere in the Realism Blogosphere,  Math Just Is.  As the Daily Mail UK reports, scores of orphaned children left to care for themselves after close contact and sustained exposure to a parent or other caregiver who has died from Ebola are  “ticking timebombs”.

Another suspected (non-insured) Ebola patient is receiving expensive, time consuming medical attention after landing at Newark International Airport on Friday, clearing US Border and Customs Inspection and taking a long bus ride from New Jersey to a relative’s home in North Carolina before spiking a fever and contacting the CDC which triggered the hospital admission:
“….A male patient, age unknown, was transported today to Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, and is being tested this evening for Ebola virus infection.
The individual flew into Newark Liberty International Airport on Friday after traveling from Liberia through an unknown destination, then traveled to the Durham area on a commercial bus, according Aldona Wos, MD, secretary of the NC Department of Health and Human Services.
On Saturday, the individual was picked up by a relative and taken to the family’s home in Person County, north of Durham. After spiking a fever this morning, temperature unknown, the individual was transported to Duke Hospital and is currently isolated in a contained unit designated previous during training as the site for treatment of a potential Ebola patient.

Senate Candidate Christine O’Donnell imploded over a commercial where she said “I’m not a witch“…. Well, apparently candidate for Texas governor, Wendy Davis, is heading down the same path – with a campaign now reduced to, essentially, “I’m not a bitch“.
After running the most ridiculous Campaign AD against her opponent Greg Abbott –essentially trying to frame him as a “bitter cripple” because he is in a wheelchair– she came under enormous backlash for the ridiculously poorly messaged ad.
The Davis campaign recovery attempt is even worse.

Yes, yes – she actually did this.
But wait.  She’s not done.

Australia’s Prime Minister has refused to commit personnel to battle ebola directly inside Africa, although the country has committed $18 million in financial resources to assist West Africa contain the outbreak.
The Australian news agency reports that “growth is out of control” and cases in Liberia are doubling every 15 – 20 days.
It is important to be aware that these models are based on known or reported cases – however, all medical personnel have affirmed that no one truly knows the number of actual cases, because many rural areas are refusing to cooperate with investigators.

Dark blue shows the number of actual cases while light blue is projections for the next four weeks.

IT’S the deadliest Ebola outbreak the world has seen — claiming more than 4033 lives and infecting double that as it rampages around the world. (link)
