Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was the first U.S. governor to announce he would oppose and block any attempt to make vaccination passports a requirement for any engagement with state government or private enterprise. DeSantis then signed an executive order temporarily and proactively blocking any effort to require proof of vaccination.
Today, the Florida House of Representatives passed a bill (SB 2006) to ban the use of COVID vaccination passports. This bill will now reconcile with a Florida Senate bill that carried the same intent.

The power of government comes from the people; or as we say in the U.S. “from the consent of the governed.” When people lead, the politicians are forced to follow. Without implied consent the municipal or state government has no power. None.
Unfortunately the totalitarian authority might label this mom a subversive dissident voice; consider her defiance a reason for targeting and re-education; and then engage child protective services in the removal of her children. It would not surprise me to see DHS show up at her door with an armed FBI SWAT team to deliver a no-knock warrant for her arrest. She is right. This is actually one of those small stories with BIG, very big potential. Broward County School Superintendent Robert Runcie was arrested this morning on a charge of perjury in an official proceeding. Broward School Board attorney Barbara Myrick was also arrested.
According to local news {LINK} Runcie gave testimony about how official school district programs were being implemented (aka “The Promise Program“) and whether any of the financial incentives were used by district officials for personal gain.
The details are vague as the media reporting on the arrest are slight; however, the backstory is something CTH has some strong information about due to our years of research into Miami-Dade and Broward County school systems – going all the way back to Trayvon Martin and the corrupt internal school administration practices we helped expose. Dear Fellow Brearley Parents,
Our family recently made the decision not to reenroll our daughter at Brearley for the 2021-22 school year. She has been at Brearley for seven years, beginning in kindergarten. In short, we no longer believe that Brearley’s administration and Board of Trustees have any of our children’s best interests at heart. Moreover, we no longer have confidence that our daughter will receive the quality of education necessary to further her development into a critically thinking, responsible, enlightened, and civic minded adult. I write to you, as a fellow parent, to share our reasons for leaving the Brearley community but also to urge you to act before the damage to the school, to its community, and to your own child’s education is irreparable.
It cannot be stated strongly enough that Brearley’s obsession with race must stop. It should be abundantly clear to any thinking parent that Brearley has completely lost its way. The administration and the Board of Trustees have displayed a cowardly and appalling lack of leadership by appeasing an anti-intellectual, illiberal mob, and then allowing the school to be captured by that same mob. What follows are my own personal views on Brearley’s antiracism initiatives, but these are just a handful of the criticisms that I know other parents have expressed.

Essentially what Rutgers is forcing upon their students is a mandatory policy for a vaccine that is not FDA approved. However, faculty and staff are not required, only the students. This is nuts!

To understand just how devastating the outcomes are upon our nation’s children, consider this emotional plea from Leo Terrell. His tears are actually tears of strength, not weakness, because Terrell knows what horrific outcomes will manifest if we do not immediately make returning to school a priority for our kids.
In my personal opinion this emotional and education crisis is purposeful to the efforts of the far-left. If they can destroy the emotional and intellectual functioning of a generation through the exploitation of COVID, their efforts to fundamentally change the U.S. will be enhanced by creating weaker citizens who are more dependent on outside solutions to their struggles.
COVID today is a problem, but the COVID consequences in the subsequent years will surface as the fabric of a tenuous society becomes even more fractured around class/income lines. The creation of a dependency (slave) class, is a fundamental objective of the Fabian Socialist worldview. Elites who make decisions for those who cannot be self sufficient is always the goal of the communist utopia.
Think ‘big picture’ and you can see how this pebble in our societal shoe today will become an extremely destructive boulder on the backs of the American way of life in the years ahead. The CDC reports a Dramatic Increase in Mental Health Issues among children. November 13, 2020) The proportion of child mental health visits to Emergency Rooms dramatically increased from March through October 2020 over the same period in 2019.
The share of mental health-related hospital emergency department visits rose 24% for children 5-11 compared to the same time period the previous year
The share of mental health-related hospital emergency department visits increased 31% for adolescents age 12 to 17 compared to the same time period the previous year.
While there were in increases for both males and females, female cases were far higher than male cases.
Friend of the Treehouse John Spiropoulos shares a ground report from the Watts neighborhood in Los Angeles where concerned parents and grandparents are protesting against the school district policy to keep in-class education stopped. As noted in the interviews, the COVID school shutdowns are hurting everyone, particularly those communities where education was already a challenge.
The “progressive” policies and regulations around COVID in California are impacting minority neighborhoods at an alarming rate. In essence, the democrat shut-down policies create racist outcomes. Matt Meyer, president of the Berkeley Federation of Teachers, has fought for what he called the “gold standard” for the teachers he represents — saying Berkeley schools should only reopen to in-person learning when educators are vaccinated, among other criteria.
