Canadian Furniture Manufacturer Closes Shop and Heads to North Carolina

The example of Canadian ready-to-assemble furniture supplier Prepac is a case study in what Robert Lighthizer was discussing with Tucker Carlson yesterday.

Prepac is a furniture company that creates the pre-fab (particle board) type furniture [company here].  The company was founded and established in Canada and previously opened a second facility for manufacturing and distribution in North Carolina.

The U.S. market is their primary sales market, and facing increased uncertainty about access, tariffs and operations their best play is to close shop in Canada and move all operations to the location of their primary customer base.  Prepac is leaving Canada for North Carolina.

DELTA, British Columbia — Canadian ready-to-assemble furniture supplier Prepac has reportedly shut down its manufacturing operations in Delta, British Columbia, shifting all production to its facility in North Carolina instead.

According to Unifor, the union that represents Prepac’s workers, tariffs are to blame. More than 170 workers will be laid off.

German Govt Warns Travelers Not to Break U.S Law During Trump Administration or They Might Lose Visa Access or Future Entry

The funny thing is that EU countries are viewing this statement from Germany as if it is a negative assertion against President Trump.

The German government, and newly elected German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, is warning its citizens that if they travel to the United States they should be careful not to break the law.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz warns travelers that violating U.S. law while President Trump is in office, might get them removed from the U.S. or lose their visa entry privilege.

BERLIN — The German government has sharpened its travel advice for the United States.

According to its website, Berlin’s Foreign Office now warns its citizens that tougher immigration enforcement under U.S. President Donald Trump could land travelers in detention or see them face deportation.

It updated the guidance after several German nationals were detained at U.S. entry points, some held for days before being sent back. Officials now explicitly warn that even minor infractions — such as overstaying a visa or misstating travel plans — could trigger immediate deportation or a ban on future entry. (read more)

This is a major story throughout the EU gaining widespread attention.  Yet, to be brutally honest I thought it was a spoof article at first.  Apparently, most Germans believed they could break the law in the USA without any consequence.

This feels like some kind of ‘winning’, but I’m not exactly sure how to define it. 😂

More Background on Judge James Boasberg – The Fight Continues

When you understand how Washington DC Judges view their role and responsibility, then you understand the scale of opposition that President Trump is facing. The false media framework of our “government” only makes the issues worse.  So, here’s an explanation of Boasberg v Trump.

In 2016 the DOJ-NSD headed by Mary McCord filed a FISA application seeking a Title-1 search (full and unlimited) surveillance warrant against the leading presidential candidate, Donald Trump.  The method to gain the surveillance authority was to use CIA informant Carter Page who had met with the Trump campaign and call Page an “agent of a foreign power.”

The FISA Court knowingly and with specific intent approved the Title-1 surveillance warrant which was filed using false evidence (Clinesmith) and sketchy supporting documents (Steele Dossier), no Woods File was attached.

At the time of the application, Mary McCord was acting head of the DOJ National Security Division.  McCord was responsible for filing the warrant application.  The DOJ-NSD had no inspector general oversight.  The targeting of candidate Donald Trump was entirely for political purposes and intents.

After President Trump won the 2016 election, he gave DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz authority to conduct oversight over the DOJ-NSD.  IG Horowitz started investigating the FISA application.  This is where things get interesting.

President Trump Discusses His Phone Call with Russian President Putin

Apparently, an interview with President Trump was scheduled to take place earlier today and fell immediately following President Trump talking to Russian President Vladimir Putin about a ceasefire of hostilities in Ukraine.

Unfortunately, the interview was scheduled with the insufferable Laura Ingraham, aka Mrs. Hannity, who injects her views and opinions during every interview.

President Trump gave a high-level overview of his “very good phone call” with Putin that has led to an agreement to begin a ceasefire process.  As noted by President Trump there is an opportunity to unlock a strategic relationship with Russia for a more peaceful world and an unlocking of a greater economic collaboration.

The conversation then shifts to a discussion of the latest breaking news surrounding activist DC Judge James Boasberg and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.  WATCH:

D’oh Canada – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney Promises Industrial Carbon Taxes Will Stimulate Canadian Economic Sovereignty

I do not like this Canadian Prime Minister even a little bit; however, Mark Carney getting elected to run Canada would be the greatest benefit to MAGAnomics in the United States.  The insufferable doofus is completely enthralled with the views, perspectives and ideologies of globalism.

Prime Minister Carney’s “conservative” opponent, Pierre Marcel Poilievre, is a softer, gentler, and more effeminate version of former U.S. Presidential candidate Mitt Romney: he growls through his cashmere. In short, Canada is screwed.

All of that said, the normal thinking Canadians need to get through a Romney to get to a Trump; so, perhaps it’s better if Canada just increases the speed of the downward economic slope by installing Carney.

Somewhere around 80% of Canadians have no concept of how their economy is functioning {GO DEEP}. Most Canadians seem to think they have some form of capitalistic system in operation and tweeking the knobs will fix things; it won’t.

So, from an American political perspective, having Mark Carney carry out his policies and watching the system therein collapse, might break the borg-mindset.  It will be massively painful for Canadians when their currency hits around 0.25¢ to the US dollar.  However, that currency collapse will ¹more than eliminate any Trump tariff impact.

Prime Minister Carney outlined yesterday how he will increase the industrial carbon tax in order to align with U.K and EU trade partners on the issue of climate change. Taxing carbon, he says, is the key to unlocking excellent trade agreements with other ‘global trade partners’ who can then fill the void created by disconnecting Canada from the USA economy.

No, really, he said that. Carney believes it with all his heart. These economic comments come on the heels of Mark Carney telling French President Emmanuel Macron –in public– that Canada was the most European of countries outside the EU.  WATCH THIS (prompted):

CNN’s Kasie Hunt Attempts to Debate Constitutional Law with Stephen Miller, Over Criminal Alien Deportation

CNN’s Kasie Hunt cannot fathom the plenary power provided by the U.S. constitution that separates the power of the executive branch from judicial review on all determinations of ‘national security’.  Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller attempts to educate the leftist media who stand jaw agape at the power contained within a nationally elected President Trump.

What follows in the debate is typical of what you would hear from a college student who recently exits the indoctrination program of a leftist university.  Hunt tries to argue ‘separation of power’ which is exactly the point Miller is making.  Judge James Boasberg is overstepping his authority within the judicial branch by attempting to instruct the executive branch about ‘national security’ determinations.

The producers are trying to send Hunt instructions electronically, and while Hunt is checking her devices for instructions, she struggles to hear the arguments presented by Miller and organize counterpoints. CNN looks silly.  WATCH:

President Trump will Speak with Russian President Putin on Tuesday

Some interesting developments in the aftermath of special envoy Steve Witkoff spending four hours in discussions with President Vladimir Putin.

After Witkoff relayed the substance of the lengthy Putin meeting, the White House and President Trump announced a phone call between Trump and Putin is scheduled for Tuesday.  The Kremlin have confirmed the call schedule.

It is important to stay focused on the factual aspects to these ongoing negotiations.  President Putin’s public statements after the Witkoff meeting essentially said Russia agrees in principle with the need for a ceasefire, and the details of coordinating a 2,000km long point of conflict need to be worked out.

Meanwhile, in somewhat of a surprise statement, Vladyslav Vlasiuk, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s commissioner for sanctions policy, said they are open to the removal of economic sanctions against Russia as part of a negotiated peace deal.

Former UFC Champion Conor McGregor Visits White House to Give Voice to the Irish People Being Ignored by Irish Government

Conor McGregor, former UFC two-weight world champion and Irish businessman, is at the White House on Saint Patrick’s Day to meet with President Donald Trump for what McGregor called the “most important meeting” for Ireland’s future.

“I’m here to raise the issues the people of Ireland face,” McGregor said while addressing reporters with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. “It’ll be music to the people of Ireland’s ears because never on the main stage [have] the issues the people of Ireland face been spoke.”

“There are rural towns in Ireland that have been overrun in one swoop,” he said. “That have become a minority in one swoop. So, issues need to be addressed, and the 40 million Irish-Americans, as I said, need to hear this because, if not, there will be no place to come home and visit.” WATCH:
