President Donald Trump has announced via Truth Social, his intent to designate Antifa as a major terrorist organization, operating within the United States.

It will be interesting to watch how the Dept of Homeland Security, FBI, Dept of Justice and U.S. State Department respond to this intended designation.
For many years we have watched the various assemblies of Revolutionary Communists (RevCom), Occupy Wall Street (OWS), Black Lives Matter (BLM) and personnel related to these organizations, evolve and align into the organization of radical leftists now known as Antifa.
Previously, despite their funding, organized and coordinated activities, the FBI had called them a “movement and ideology” and not an organization. However, their organizational model should not be hard to unravel. There is a funding mechanism for these activities which should be easy for government officials to research.
In the 2020 election the domain registry of Antifa.Com had a landing page of JoeBiden.com [background]. Various off-shoots of the leftist cause, anarchists, occupy, blm and pro-Palestinian agitators all align with the ideology of the foot soldiers who take to the streets and create chaos.
Perhaps no other person is more responsible for tracking Antifa’s domestic network of activity than Andy Ngo [Twitter Feed Here]. Ngo has confronted the group, tracked their activity, documented their violence and traced major parts of their organization.
As Andy Ngo said in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk shooting, “Expect a lot of liberal and left-wing media propaganda the next few days about Antifa. They will say the movement doesn’t organize into groups and that those involved are peaceful, racial justice activists simply opposed to fascism. Don’t let them get away with lying.”
Mr Ngo puts the challenges of labeling Antifa as a terrorist group into context here. It will be difficult for President Trump to assemble a legally binding designation against the reality of constitutional protections surrounding the First Amendment. However, organized criminal activity under existing conspiracy and RICO statutes is entirely possible.
My personal opinion of the situation is less about labels and designations and more about just confronting the violent activity as it percolates. Arrest the people for their direct behavior, in the moment the behavior takes place. If they block or impede federal authorities or create civil unrest through violent or unlawful activity, then arrest them immediately.
Again, this is going to come down to how the Dept of Justice and FBI approaches the investigations of individuals and targeting mechanisms of the operation that Antifa uses. WATCH:
I believe it was Andy Ngo during the first Trump admin who broke the story that Antifa from the US traveled to either Iraq or Turkey to train in guerilla tactics with Kurdish far leftists. That’s foreign coordination, and there goes you’re ‘we’re a domestic group so we can’t be designated terrorist’ argument. Tell me with a straight face that violent leftist extremism isn’t just as international as radical Islamic extremism.
NGO paints a negative picture. But Trump is signaling something different. (1) He’s going to confirm foreign money supporting Antifa. THAT ALONE could upgrade Antifa to “international” status and we already know Antifa exists outside of the USA. (2) RICO is also a thing which, as Ngo points out, make the terrorist status symbolic.
Trump often has tricks up his sleeve — things that will surprise people. Let’s hope for another one. REMEMBER, the FBI was created to address organized crime and then it turned into what we have today.
What if Trump created a NEW organized crime force filled with people we can trust to do the f’ing job untainted by the communist mind virus.? Could Trump do this? YES he absolutely can. And isn’t that exactly the kind of thing Trump would do? He already “DOGE’d” the country. He can do it again.
They already are international.
Here are a few more tips:
1) RICO and conspiracy charges against all bad actors (no need to name names, but we all know who they are);
2) Criminal referrals followed by heavy reform of several institutions within the Executive;
3) Use DOGE findings to go after methods of funding + criminal charges for funding domestic terrorism/attempts to incite a color revolution;
4) Thorough investigation extremist militias operating within the US + further terrorist designations.
Enough is enough already. There are far worse and much better armed leftist groups than just Antifa operating within US borders.
Well, Trump told us Antifa would be designated a terrorist organization. Over the years Antifa has been mapped.
That was Trump 1.0, who didn’t know his own power and was easily thwarted by the likes of AG Bill Barr and FBI Director Chris Wray. Dragging their feet refusing to follow direct orders from the President of the United States.
Trump 2.0 will not be so easily dismissed by the permanent bureaucracy
Need to add after the last sentence of the article to be in keeping with the President’s statement …. It will also depend on the methods, approach and predicates used to INVESTIGATE the web of finances and controlling entities linked to ANTIFA.
These are the real targets.
… and of course arrest and prosecute ALL Antifa members who break the law as suggested in the article.
By the way, during the “summer of peaceful protests” when Antifa surfaced … the very same organization went international to surface as ANTIFA in Germany, France and the UK to foment riots with ANTIFA Banners and SIGNS. This organization should be on Tulsi G’s radar as well.
Once the investigation of the Supporting Spider Web begins … and as we all knew …. BLM, ACT Blue and others will be seen a s falling under the SAME Umbrella.
We all followed and saw how the same characters floated between the ALL these organizations as the situation dictated …. Just like the Umbrella Group the Muslim Brotherhood.
