Last week we identified the five predictable democrat phases within the evolving smear campaign of Judge Brett Kavanaugh; to wit: “The shift to Phase 4 should be anticipated for Thursday’s media-cycle.”  As expected, today we officially enter phase four:
The highly predictable strategy by Democrats, far-left activists and compliant ideological media to smear/destroy Judge Brett Kavanaugh is solidly in phase four:

• √ Phase 1 – Activate last minute delay chaos (prior “Me Too” investment).
• √ Phase 2 – Use sex assault claims to demand investigation, further delay. Use republicans, not democrats, to establish/frame the delay.
• √ Phase 3 – Use investigation to frame validity narrative; further delay.  Use republican fear (leverage Jeff Flake) not democrats, to continue the delay. Manipulate FBI. Shift investigation goalposts.
• √ Phase 4 – Use “deeply flawed investigation” narrative (witnesses ignored); to isolate Murkowski/Collins and keep Flake in position.  Drum mid-term “Let the voters decide”. <= WE ARE HERE
• Phase 5 – The mid-term election.

Fortunately it appears the Senate will hold a vote on Judge Kavanaugh despite the ridiculous avoidance efforts of democrats, left-wing activists and media allies.

In a letter released last night from a former boyfriend of Christine Blasey-Ford, there was a name curiously not redacted. The name of Monica L McLean was revealed as a life-long friend who Ms. Ford helped with polygraph preparation.
The media has begun to focus on the letter as outlining a lie told by Ms. Ford during recent congressional testimony… But the backstory to Ms. Monica Lee McLean is an even bigger story.
First the letter from the boyfriend:

In addition to boyfriend noting Ms. Monica L McLean in the current letter, Ms. Monica Lee McLean was also one of the signatories of another letter from the Holton-Arms class of 1984 bolstering the credibility of Ms. Blasey-Ford.

Hillary Clinton was asked her opinion of Judge Brett Kavanaugh noting how the Clinton political machine writ large was working to smear his name and reputation.  Her response was typical Clinton evil…. Shrill laughter.  Do not look away:

The vulgar lies and filth are now extreme as the ideological entities utilize their microphones in a brutal attempt to tear down the Kavanaugh family.
As we bear witness, anyone trying to convince us this entire assembly of our union is headed in the right direction, well, they might want to revisit their proximity to the 2018 election ballpark. Because they’re not just out of the city – they’re also out of the same state the election ballpark is located in….. Then again, the media know that.

Senator Lindsey Graham discusses the current status of the Kavanaugh nomination with Fox News host Sean Hannity. Senator Graham says he feels confident that Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed. Senator Mitch McConnell is confident there will be a vote by the end of the week.
However, Mr. Hannity ponders what happens if two of the GOPe votes withdraw. If 49 yea votes are forecast, Graham does the infamous triple-lindsey…
Senator Graham outlines his advice to President Trump if two-of-three Senators (Jeff Flake, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins) do not support the nomination at the end of the week. Graham would advise President Trump to pull the nomination and campaign in the 2018 mid-term election with Kavanaugh as the primary issue. Oddly enough, that’s the same goal held by the Democrat wing of the UniParty.

Whenever there is deep contention -actual risk of political exposure- the UniParty always maneuvers back into the shadows and away from actually taking a vote.
If the GOPe pull the vote, republican voters will be angry/disappointed. If the GOPe vote and cannot confirm the nominee, republican voters will be angry/disappointed. Yesterday CTH noted/predicted the strategy by the political opposition to Brett Kavanaugh would become evident with leaks from corrupt officials inside the FBI to their ideological allies in the media.  In part, this strategy (create media narratives) was the reason for Debra Katz, attorney for Ms. Blasey-Ford, to hire Michael Bromwich.
As attorney Katz noted yesterday, the investigation is only one “step in the process” of destroying Judge Kavanaugh, their use of the media is another critical step.

Corrupt elements within the DOJ and FBI have a vested self and ideological interest in supporting attacks against supreme court nominee Kavanaugh.  Less than 18 hours later, those corrupt FBI officials begin leaking information to the Washington Post.

(Via Washington Post) The FBI has begun contacting people as part of an additional background investigation of Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, including a second woman who alleges that the Supreme Court nominee sexually assaulted her, according to people familiar with the unfolding investigation.
The bureau has reached out to Deborah Ramirez, a Yale University classmate of Kavanaugh’s who alleges that he shoved his genitals in her face at a party where she had been drinking and become disoriented, her attorney said Saturday.

There are no rules.  Nothing is out of bounds.  The USA Today allows a posited theory column structured around the premise that Judge Brett Kavanaugh be subjected to the same investigative and safety principles considered with a suspected child sex offender.  Ergo, no more coaching his daughters’ basketball team….  These people are sick.

President Trump has conceded to the demands of the Senate. 

The senate (via Mitch McConnell), as an outcome of Senators Flake, Collins and Murkowski not supporting the nomination, was no longer going to vote on Judge Brett Kavanaugh without an FBI investigation.
President Trump calls for a limited investigation in scope and duration.
Within minutes of President Trump acquiescing to the well-constructed demands, DNC operatives speaking on behalf of their controlled client, Christine Ford, attorney Debra Katz and Michael Bromwich insist there will be “no limits”, and this is only “one step in their process”.

WHITE HOUSE: “I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaughs file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”  (link)

BRETT KAVANAUGH (Nominee):  “Throughout this process, Ive been interviewed by the FBI, Ive done a number of background calls directly with the Senate, and yesterday, I answered questions under oath about every topic the Senators and their counsel asked me. DEMOCRATS: “A thorough investigation is critical to developing all the relevant facts. Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford welcomes this step in the process, and appreciates the efforts of Senators Flake, Manchin, Murkowski and Collins – and all other senators who have supported an FBI investigation – to ensure it is completed before the senate votes on Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination.  No artificial limits as to time or scope should be imposed on this investigation.” (Link)

The Democrats are smart.  They have now positioned the investigation such that any perceived interference by the White House will be weaponized.  The public narrative will be to demand “independence” for the FBI; this allows them to manipulate the investigative parameters from within.  Their operatives are already in place.
