The deadline for New York City firefighters to get vaccinated was yesterday.  Enforcement of the vaccine mandate is anticipated to begin Monday.  Today, the New York Post is reporting that 26 FDNY firehouses are currently closed due to short staffing directly related to the vaccine mandate.

But the vaccine mandate is all about the public health, right?

New York – The FDNY shut down 26 firehouses across the Big Apple as of 7:30 a.m. Saturday because of staff shortages caused by the vaccination mandate, The Post has learned.

[…] “Twenty six companies out of service is an unconscionable number,” said Councilman Joe Borelli, a Staten Island Republican who chairs the committee on fire and emergency management. “The firefighters who are unable to work have all been tested within the week and are not Covid positive, and I doubt New Yorkers care about the vaccine status of the person applying defibrillators to their chest

Of all the extreme measures carried out by various states in Australia, the collections and confiscations by the State Penalty and Enforcement Register (SPER) might just be the icing on the cake.

During the lengthy COVID lockdown in the state of Queensland, Australia (Brisbane area), most workers were not permitted to work or earn a living.

Several states stepped in to provide wage subsidies so people could purchase essential products and pay their living expenses.  However, during the lockdown if you were caught violating any of the lockdown rules, you were subject to a civil citation, a fine or ticket for your COVID violation.

Get caught too far from home, outside your permitted bubble, and you get a ticket.  Get caught spending more than the permitted 1 hour outside, get a ticket.  Get caught without a mask, even by yourself – and yep, ticket.  Enter a closed quarantine zone (park, venue, etc.) and you get a ticket.  Tickets were being handed out by police on the street as well as during random checkpoints on the roadways.

Additionally, people returning to Queensland were put into a system of involuntary quarantine.  The costs for that quarantine, mostly hotel rooms, were to be paid by the people being involuntarily captive and not allowed home.

Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis has a lot to celebrate today as the sunshine state becomes the lowest state in the U.S. for COVID cases with a rate of 9 per 100k residents.

Within the data, the state also reports 147,000 Floridians have received monoclonal antibody treatments at 25 locations throughout the state.  Those treatment centers are available for anyone who is diagnosed by a positive COVID test, and it is making a significant difference in hospitalizations.  Well done DeSantis!

Moderna Chairman Noubar Afeyan appeared on Fox Business News with Maria Bartiromo earlier today.  [Watch the first four minutes]  As Ms. Bartiromo gleefully congratulates Moderna and Mr. Afeyan for their incredible mRNA technology, the CEO notes there could be a ‘continued need for boosting’ every year.

The FDA panel has voted 17 to 0 to approve the Pfizer vaccine for 5 to 11-year-olds.  One of the FDA Panelists, Dr. Ruben, outlined his support by saying “We’re never gonna learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it. That’s the way it goes.” 

Another panelist noted that 700 young people under the age of 18 have died ‘with‘ COVID, or COVID related symptoms in the past two years.  With the full support of the FDA panel, the large scale rollout of the vaccine in young children will now head to the CDC for final approvals. 

WASHINGTON DC – Vaccine advisers to the US Food and Drug Administration voted 17-0 with one abstention Tuesday to recommend Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine in children 5 to 11.

Members of the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee agreed that the benefits of vaccinating younger children appeared to outweigh the risks, but some members appeared troubled about voting to vaccinate a large population of younger children based on studies of a few thousand.

Everything about vaccinating children aged 5 to 11 for COVID-19 is wrong, on every level. There is an infinitesimally small risk for children from the COVID-19 virus or any variant, and that risk only presents in children with preexisting comorbidity (ie. something else already wrong).

As parents, grandparents and family members watching the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) closely on this issue, there is another alarming aspect to the influence of Big Pharma and politics in the vaccination debate.

As noted in this AP article about the FDA presumably deliberating today whether to approve the Pfizer vaccine for kids aged 5 to 11, note this tell-tale sign showing this ‘deliberation’ itself is a ruse:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Kid-size doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine may be getting closer as government advisers on Tuesday began deliberating whether there’s enough evidence that the shots are safe and effective for 5- to 11-year-olds.

The pharmaceutical industry has already secured the special packaging, modified the kiddie materials, shipped the specialized doses, and done everything to stage the kids vaccine in the supply chain – BEFORE the FDA has approved the vaccine.    This level of proactive expense by Pfizer tells us the FDA deliberation is a complete farce.  Pfizer knows the vaccine approval is a foregone conclusion.

Earlier today Florida Governor Ron DeSantis delivered remarks on the Florida economy and took questions from the media.  The press conference was held in North Venice, Florida, with Department of Transportation Secretary Kevin Thibault and VISIT Florida President & CEO Dana Young to highlight job growth and the expanding economy.

During the press questioning, the Florida governor was asked about his state’s response to COVID-19 and criticism from the Joe Biden administration.  DeSantis took the opportunity to point out how political the National Institute of Health has become, and also noted the disgusting research funded by taxpayer money.

…”You cannot have mad scientists running around playing God like this … including cruel experiments on puppies”…

A question we have been asking for several months: Who are the political officials going to blame for rising COVID infection and hospitalization rates when the vaccination rates are well over 90 percent?   What happens on a sociological scale when a vaxxed society realizes there is no magic panacea afforded by the vaccination narrative?

Author Jack Cashill takes those questions head-on in a Spectator article noting we only need to look at Waterford, Ireland, to see the dynamic where an almost completely obedient and vaccinated population of 99.7% is facing rising COVID infection rates despite their good citizenship:

Cashill  – […] “The arbitrary evolution of Irish COVID policy over the past 18 months has made it clear that public health officials and government policy makers have no idea what they are doing. If proof were needed, County Waterford provides it. According to data published on October 21, Waterford City South has the nation’s highest 14-day incidence rate at 1,486 cases per 100,000 and Tramore-Waterford City West has the third highest at 1,122 cases per 100,000. This is despite internal travel bans and the county’s more than 90 percent vaccination rate.

Although Waterford is running three times the rate of the nation writ large, Ireland as a whole is not faring particularly well, especially given its draconian restrictions. In the seven days preceding October 21, Ireland reported 2,026 new cases. To put that number in perspective, wide-open Florida had 2,262 cases during that same period with a population more than four times greater than the Irish Republic’s.  (read more)
