During strong testimony today in congress, representative Jim Jordan addressed the “Defund the Police” movement being pushed by radical democrats. WATCH:
It is really quite stunning how the U.S. media have avoided reporting on a group of activists in Seattle who have taken over part of the city surrounding the abandoned East precinct police station. No-one is being allowed inside what they are calling a “Free Capitol Hill Zone” or “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ).
The activists have barricaded the streets and will not let any journalists or city officials inside their declared zone of control. The region expands across six blocks as outlined by the occupying groups. Information on the encampment AVAILABLE HERE:
According to the area activists the East precint of the police station is called the “captured regime” (above blue). Journalist Julio Rosas tweeted photos from the ‘Zone,’ including flyers demanding that Seattle PD be defunded, and declaring that police “will always be racist because capitalism requires inequality.”
Independent journalist Andy Ngo has a great deal of familiarity with the groups assembled in the occupying effort. He describes the group in control of the area as “Antifa,” and cited tweets to suggest there were armed guards guarding entry among the occupy protestors.
President Donald Trump has noted the unusual behavior of the Buffalo protester who was captured on a now-viral video last week:
Coincidentally, as we noted at the time of the incident something does indeed seem sketchy with the behavior of Mr. Martin Gugino both before and during the encounter.
.
Mr. Martin Gugino is a 75-year-old professional activist, agitator and Antifa provocateur who brags on his blog about the number of times he can get arrested and escape prosecution. Also, according to Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown remarking on the incident: “here has been vandalism, there have been fires set, there have been stores broken into & looted. According to what was reported to me, that individual was a key major instigator of people engaging in those activities.”
If you’ve been following the week-long, highly political, three state grievance tour consisting of five funerals and viewings timed and located to maximize a 2020 political narrative; today is the culmination of the effort. However, you might also notice a big difference between how the media announced the program to the final day events.
The media previously claimed funeral number four for George Floyd in Houston, Texas, would be a small private gathering of family and close friends and that’s why Joe Biden would not be present to give his remarks in person. As the Biden/Clyburn campaign explained to Reuters: “He is not expected to attend the service to avoid any disruption to mourners that could be caused by his Secret Service protective detail.”
That Biden/Clyburn claim was always transparently silly. As you can see today from the funeral dozens of congresspersons, senators, state and national officials were included in a large made-for-television, live-broadcast, event that was not the least bit “private”, “small” or reserved for close family and friends. Instead it was what we expected it would be; a Joe Biden political rally exploiting the death of George Floyd.
That said, there is also clarity of purpose behind the video that Biden recorded; and, as we expected, the video was carefully constructed for the candidate to read from a teleprompter, edited with sound enhancements and under careful control. It is likely James Clyburn was more concerned with Biden screwing up a live speech, thus the recording was needed.
When you know the playbook of Benjamin Crump; and you understand the playbook of how the AME grievance network intersects with the playbook of Crump; it is easy to predict activity. George Floyd’s life wasn’t what mattered, the political opportunity was.
This election year opportunity brought together Ben Crump, James Clyburn, Joe Biden and the DNC. The death of George Floyd was the vehicle, the opportunity, that created the background for the network to align for mutual interests; money, power and politics.
I have no idea where Ben Crump was when this picture was sent from his phone. But his phone was located in Tallahassee when he sent the tweet at 2:40pm today.
Keeping in mind that everything in Crump world is always sketchy and manufactured, it is not surprising to see articles describing Joe Biden meeting with the Floyd family by using Roger Floyd (above far right). See if you can spot the obfuscation:
Attorney General Bill Barr sat down today with Fox News’ human cabbage patch doll, Bret Baier, to discuss recent racial antagonism, arson, riots and unrest throughout the country, as well as potential new developments in the Jeffery Epstein case.
Within the interview AG Bill Barr does a good job outlining the Trump administration policies and efforts that were already in the works prior to the George Floyd killing.
.
An argument can be made that the reason Democrats are trying to stir-up racial anxiety is precisely because President Trump is making concrete improvements on issues that have structural benefits to the lives of black Americans.
Perhaps the best visible representative for the fantasy social-justice world that exists between AOC’s ears is the Minneapolis City Council President, Lisa Bender.
With just the right amount of socially significant tattooing to claim credibility for ‘the movement’, Ms. Bender takes a break from life amid sustainable algae cakes and lattes to share the world of her social network’s imaginings.
In this interview snippet Wolf Blitzer asks Ms. Bender who’s going to respond to a violent shooter if there’s no police force?… Ms. Bender admits no-one knows, but through the process of collective “re-imagining”, the Minnesota world of public safety will look quite different. WATCH:
.
Yes, Ms. Bender… Indeed, once you get rid of the police, everything in your world of re-imaginings will look entirely different. In that regard you are 100% correct.
The problem for Council President Bender is that everyone outside of her loony leftist community knows exactly what will happen. It doesn’t need to be imagined.
In a carefully orchestrated, timed and planned effort to maximize the political strategy of Joe Biden’s campaign director, James Clyburn, the capitol building was used as a stage.
While simultaneously making cultural appropriation great again House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, gave her political stunt crew Kente cloths to wear while bringing New Black Pander Party (NBPP) together for a cringe-worthy political stunt at Emancipation Hall.
The motives of the effort are transparent. The Democrat party, writ large, has made the calculation they cannot win the 2020 election without racial activism as the driver for votes. South Carolina representative James Clyburn is directing the Joe Biden campaign on the best utility for black pandering, specifically focusing on the AME church network.
The strategy is not without risk. Candidate Joe Biden defined the blackness of black people by saying if they did not support him “you ain’t black.” Obviously the strategy to campaign on this issue was made in the days prior to the South Carolina primary. What we see now is a continuation of that plan. However, the pandering is over-the-top; and there are indications of a backlash from within the black community.
Yesterday the new black panderers organized a million Antifa march with the Black Lives Matter crowd in Washington DC. Unfortunately, they fell approximately 990,000 people short of the million person goal; only about 10,000 marchers present.
The window of exploitation & opportunity is closing even faster than we expected.
Not surprisingly the media hyped the thousands that did attend resulting in a skewed reality that was/is disconnected from the actual result. In media you would think there was a massive alignment of social interests. However, if you look at the reception rate for the message, there’s a big disconnect.
Again, as previously noted, the downstream reception rate, the people who receive the message, take action on the message and/or join in the amplification of the message; much like the protest attendance rate, was very small considering the scale of the push.
We can debate what is creating the disconnect, but the chasm is undeniable. People are just not as organically tuned-in as the media would have you believe they are. The efforts of the social influencers are not yielding results; and you can see this reality in the way the media is increasingly desperate to keep pushing the messaging.
“Defund The Police” is not working outside the most severe leftist woke groups.
Perhaps people are burned-out with the constant demand for outrage; or perhaps people have caught-on to the manipulation. I’m not sure what specifically is driving the lack of engagement; but people are just going on with their lives while the constant drumbeat of shouting voices is being blasted at them. The drumbeat is loud, perhaps one of the loudest ever, but the drumbeat is also astroturf and not organic. This appears to be part of the reason for the disconnect.
Last week Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey allowed the mob to burn the police precincts in an expression of his alignment with their woke demands. However, the Minneapolis mob was not satisfied with his permission to riot, loot and torch the city, the mob wants more.
The mob always wants more. You can never be woke enough.
The mob has an unquenchable blood lust for power.
Today the social justice warriors demanded Mayor Frey prove his virtue by promising to eliminate all police officers and allow the woke community to take over the organization of their politically correct civic society. The Mayor could not make the promise…. So the mob turned on him and forced him to do the walk of shame through the crowd. WATCH:
.
Mayor Frey’s skinny jeans, antique T-shirt and woke hairstyle could not shield him for the demands of the mob. The crowd shouts “GO HOME JACOB” and then “SHAME, SHAME, SHAME” while giving him the middle-finger salute. Moments later as he walked alone, dejected down the sidewalk, they start throwing bottles of water at him. Jacob has sad.
