BRENT HAMACHEK – […] For those of us who still believe in and embrace the ideas of our founding, for those who believe that the individual and their liberty are of paramount importance and prime value, for those of us who believe that free market capitalism is the most moral and just system for organizing economic activity, we need to have an epiphany. We need to awaken to the reality that we are not a majority. We are not a vocal minority with the same rights as the majority. We are now dissidents. We do not have the same voice as our ever-strengthening oppressors, and we do not have the same rights that they enjoy.
For those who might argue that there more of us, or at least as many of us, who believe in individual liberty and free market capitalism than there are opponents to same, I would suggest that you should not confuse a simple head count with total political atomic mass. The positions within society that our opponents hold and the institutions and machinery they control gives them leverage beyond simple membership numbers.
As to our being cast in the role of dissidents, we have no choice. How we conduct ourselves in that role will be the difference between having a chance over the long term to ultimately prevail or having to spend a century or more under the totalitarian’s thumb. We need to understand the role we are in, the most effective course of action we can take, and above all, we must understand and accept our limitations. A failure to understand and accept the latter will only deepen and prolong our subjugation. (read more)
This is excellent. If you did not click to read the entire article, I implore you, please do because it is worth your time.
Yesterday there was an op-ed in the NYT basically saying to stop thinking critically because it spreads disinformation, meaning it takes the narrative away from the institutions that are pushing it to the passive.
Critical thinking is second nature to many of us in the Treehouse. The goal to get others to think critically through asking questions is spot on to dispute false premises thereby creating the mass needed to recapture our country.
Again, please read the entire commentary Sundance has linked and then begin to take action, beginning in your own community.
Agree- this amazing essay completely changed my way of thinking about President Trump and our current political situation. Even if our President does come back to the battlefield in the near future, this may end up being a 100 year war.
I predict this will be a 3-4 generational war. That is usually the amount of time it takes a prominent wealthy family to become completely dysfunctional. I know that is just a correlation. There it is anyway.
A positive note: The environut theories already have over two generations behind them. They could be completely marginalized in only another generation.
It may be that the recent events of TX and Germany will help the green new deal ideology to end sooner.
Doubtful…they are all over TV this AM stating that the events of Texas would not have occurred if the “green new deal” was in place.
Never let a crises go to waste…
True … but the truth is seeping out that the RATS the power failure and frozen deaths in Texas … maybe the greenie-weenies are cold enough to pay actually start paying attention.
Texas has an independent grid allowing them to avoid Federal power/energy regulations … and they had PLENTY of available heating abilities.
Abbot declared his Texas State of Emergency Feb 12th
Braindead’s Feb 14th EO mandated Texas utilities NOT provide the needed heat to its citizens because the energy grids would violate Federal “pollution” mandates.
So … Texas Power independence from the Feds power regulations did NOT protect Texas from the Feds pollution regulations – REGARDLESS of how many Texans froze to death.
The “optics” are really bad – so much so – that braindead’s handlers had to prop their prop up this morning to finally issue a Federal State of Emergency.
Now the lack of the actually available heat – has resulted in frozen and broken water pipes everywhere.
My hope … the silver lining in this very dark cloud … Texas becomes even MORE independent.
Of course just the opposite is true. It appears the wind turbines and solar units let the people down not being able to produce the energy needed. Shame on any state that heads in this stupid, stupid direction.
I agree. I am very intentional at making sure my kids are critical thinkers.
They go to a private Christian high school, they are both conservative, most likely by hanging around me, but I question them all the time to make sure they understand why they believe what they believe.
It is up to us to raise the next generation and not leave it up to institutions with a different agenda.
That is why progs hate school choice for all. They want obeyers not critical thinkers.
Hobbs was right. Madison was right, IF men were angles we would need no checks and balances. Importantly, Jesus of Nazareth was right, the heart of man is wicked, evil and depraved. In order to win this war, we must know what we are up against. The lying, cheating and misinformation that went into stealing the election is simply breathtaking. Led mostly by the media and to a degree political leaders on the left. Never forget, these very powerful politicians, media hacks and judicial actors….ALL lied about Russia for years and constantly about POTUS Trump. They will stoop to no low to keep power and money.
With respect, it already is a hundred year war.
I agree. I cringe when Patriots pine for the “good ole days.” We’ve been managed and manipulated by unseen globalist hands since at least 1913. None of us has ever lived in good times, although we may have been lulled into complacency.
Big difference.
We have a LOT to learn if we are to keep alive a functioning Constitutional Republic. The first thing that has to go by way of the dinosaur is Hollyweird and the lying ENEmedia. We have lost all control of the narrative and, by extension, we were long ago left stranded on a desert island to howl at the moon.
Yes, PLEASE read his entire article. Enlightening. Helpful. Directional.
QFT! I just finished the article; it’s worth your time to read it. It’s so good that I BOOKMARKED it, so I can read it again and pass it along.
Print it out. Give it away!
I posted it on Gab. It’s a long essay that cannot be speed read. So much signal not noise, as Steve Bannon might say.
Same here!
To me, that is why Trump whether or not he runs again has to get engaged ASAP. One way to do that is to start having his rallies again. They are his way of getting out his message to his base and the Pravda News has to cover them. And he cannot stop talking about the stolen election. Churches, restaurants, bars and gyms have to get back open, that is where people congregate and talk. The NYT doesn’t want anyone to use critical thinking, because they know China Joe is a travesty, they just don’t want us thinking about him.
Yeah. Just don’t gather in DC — armed or not — and in case your wondering what “the tyrants” feel about it, they fenced you out after lying to you about the 6th of Jan.
You are not a dissident: you are the boss. But looks like you’re going to have to enforce your words, fire some chiefs and criminals.
Talk about that.
“They” think they took away you ability to ask questions or even talk about it. Delay THAT conversation at your own risk.
I disagree. I think the smartest thing Trump can do is the exact opposite of what they expect him to do.
The longer he provides them a foil, the longer it will take for them to get sick of themselves.
Not sure whether I agree, but that is a very interesting take, Mamie.
Thank you, Sundance, for presenting this article to us.
We are all struggling to find a way to move forward, and this is the best summation of where we are as a nation and how we can effectively embrace our new roll as dissidents that I have seen.
It is a long read, but I believe we can all discover a purpose and place within these words.
We need to find peace in our soul through the strength of our convictions.
“It is a long read, but I believe we can all discover a purpose and place within these words.”
Crap!
I read them as a resignation to dissident status which is as much “FAKE” as and FALSE as these other things: Joe biden “won”, joe biden is rational, the vote was LEGALLY CERTIFIED…
Truth: They committed treason in certifying the stolen unconstitutional vote. Truth: You are the majority by far.
I agree, and found the article very upsetting, as the author is planning to lose! We cannot let this election fraud stand or accept it! There are a lot more of us than there are supporters of our current government!
I found the article very comforting because of the authors advice:
“It does no good to abandon the joy of life while trying to improve life. ”
This would make a good screen saver for the laptop…
So true.
I went maskless in my grocery store today. Nobody said a word or even seemed to notice. I think I was the only one maskless.
I enjoyed it.
coolmamie,
I believe that it is in the way “one carries one’s self”. Much like the predator selects his prey, by singling out the apparently weak. I’m neither combative nor confrontational. I just go about my “alpha” way. I seem to detect a sense of admiration from the cashiers at the stores I frequent.
I would never berate someone into taking their muzzle off, and I try to exude that “vibe”. Not arrogance, but confidence. I hope it’s contagious?
Best,
skipper
BTW,
This may seem selfish, but…
“If martyrdom is my choice, then it is MY choice to make!”
I’ll not go quietly, I’ll assure you that.

I do it every Saturday morning. I love it. I feel I am doing something worthwhile. Today I was the only one except for the young men with cowboy hats that never wear masks. And a few 10-12 year old kids whose parents did not put masks on them.
One sad moment- a woman ran past me outside in the parking lot and then returned to a walk when she felt she was a safe covid distance away. Her groceries included a huge container of Cheetos. Now there is someone with critical thinking skills.
Respectfully, let it simmer and marinate and read that part again. I did and got a more clear understanding of the reality of where we are.
Felt the same.
Agree and like Sundance has been saying, live your best life while fighting back
The top of the article states “24 minute read.” It is not. It is more like 35 or 40 minutes if you want to get the full benefit of this superb article. Read a paragraph at a time and fully digest it before moving to the next paragraph. Move back and forth between current and previously read paragraphs to keep everything in context.
Bookmark it so you can refer to the article from time to time. Thank you SD for posting.
Read twice at least!
Read it aloud.
The “action” as proposed here is guaranteed to waste your time. You will be firing a militia team sooner or later. Soon = fewer casualties and support of the standing army, police. Later = blood bath and less support from law enforcement.
Domestic tranquility is not desired if the cost is someone takes my bacon off my table and takes my freedom (lockdown), and takes my kids into “virtual slavery hell collectivism”. Its right in front of your eyes.
Gun sales are the only evidence I need at this point… but ammo is short as well.
You elected Trump; you moved toward freedom; you are by far the majority: they stole it.
Trump said go home. He wanted law and order. Sit back and enjoy the show. Does he have to tell you 17 times?
Yep. Maybe more than 17. And at the same time are you pointing out anyone that has actually “moved out” so far. Trumps “law and order” includes the second amendment — the right and DUTY to change guards of liberty and freedom if needed. He told you “treason” and “I caught them all”.
No one explaining 2A or “the law” and “the consequences for the treasonous ones” is by definition a “hot head”.
Its in the military’s hands right now based on what the SC says — I can wait. And if they decide against freedom and against a constitutional republic … We’ll know and we can figure out what will be done from there. Cowardice is a grave problem but fortunately not a permanent condition — EVER.
Patriaot’s Patience. Patriots Courage.
Haha! I see what you did! I trust President Trump.
Like he said, there will be martyrs who take a different route. Nobody is giving up.
Accepting reality is step one. Joe Biden sits in the Oval Office. We all know the election was stolen. That isn’t going to change. The fraudulent election is in the past and we cannot change the result.
Dealing with reality means we must live in the present and plan for the future. That starts by changing the false narrative so many believe. This is a long war. The communists have been infiltrating this country for generations, we aren’t going to win it back tomorrow.
We may not be able to change the election but we are fools if we do not attempt to change the situations that created the ability to illegally steal the election. We must not allow the unconstitutional, illegitimate 2020 election to be forgotten or glossed over. It may be history but we have a duty to do our dead level best to make sure it does not happen again. Sunlight is still the best disinfectant, even if it comes after a storm.
Roger that, completely agree.
That is establishing the truth narrative.
It isn’t too late to repent our sins. I would start there and then pray for divine guidance. It’s like balancing a checkbook. First you go back and correct your mistakes, before you can move forward on solid ground. ??
An excellent examination of how the left exists and controls. Power is the great motivator no matter what rung of the ladder one occupies.
We are no longer dissidents to be tolerated by those in power, we are insurectionests to be despised and crushed and quickly before we can organize against the power. The left has stated so and they mean it.
We will soon see things perpetrated by the left that only months ago would seem surreal.
Check out the climate scam freezing Texas.
Who will lead us into battle for our survival?
This essay is the kind ripening article I have ever read. Am sending it to everyone I know, especially my children.
I hate autocorrect. Should be mind-opening.
I agree. Those in power want people to believe that anything other than their official narrative on an issue is disinformation so they won’t start asking questions and thinking critically. When I read the article, I thought of President Trump’s lawyer at the latest impeachment trial showing video of democrats saying things to actually incite violence, in contrast to anything Pres. Trump said. And how for many people, this might have been the first time they saw the issue from that angle. And maybe, just maybe, some will begin to question other things too. If even a few do, then that lawyer did way more than get Trump acquitted (important as that was). Excellent article. I stayed up way too late reading it last night but couldn’t stop. I am a retired professor, and I always told my students that my goal wasn’t to just teach them the subject matter but to teach them to think critically and question everything.
Ditto.
Thank you.
I was raised to think critically and I tear my hair out in frustration listening to the cockeyed reasoning of those around me with eyes wide shut. When Donald Trump first came on the political scene, I rushed to assist him like my life depended on it.
He is a kindred spirit for American patriots and all others who yearn to be free. But God controls the levers of power in the purest sense. And I trust Him to lead us all to victory in spirit. That’s where it really counts.
Every great movement has the same struggle; what/who’s voice leads the movement forward. What stratgies are best suited to achieving the prize. It was epitomized within our own Civil Rights struggle and Malcom X’s “Ballot or the Bullet” speech.
Malcom X was an authentic American dissident.
With this last election exposing the massive fraud and ability to change the results of elections, we don’t have the ballot option anymore. Soapbox, jurybox, ballot box, and cartridge box. What the SCOTUS decides to do about the cases pending will determine what options are left, but the ballot box is not one we have until these election machines are banned.
Well, you tried the ballot. What’s next?If you choose to sit on your hands, you will loose.Bittem and the DemocRATS have already said they are coming for your guns and to hell with 2A.If you are going to wait till then,it will be too late.
The linked article was good, but translating it into practice will be tough.
As just one example, I and many others here have dumped Facebook. We did so without waiting to be banished, and it’s possible that, insignificant as most of us are, we never would have been banished.
Question: Did we abandon a tool to reach those in the circle below us? Did we cut our nose to spite our face?
Or did we only imagine we could reach others in the vast virtual world, when the correct field of battle is the real, local world?
Yes.
Agree that translating will be tough but as more or less stated in the article it took a long time to get here and will take much time to reverse course.
I have stayed on Facebook but I modified my profile to the extent possible to restrict what FB can do with my data/searches (maybe this does nothing but make be feel better). I don’t post a lot but do lob the occasional truth bomb when needed. I also go through the minorly tedious effort of blocking the ever present advertisement post and I absolutely don’t click on these. I have always tried to keep my Friend count to below 100 and on hindsight maybe I should open that up further to potentially impact others.
Not really true that it takes time to “reverse course”…
1775-1789 including 5 years of active fighting reversed “the course of history”.
1880 and marxism flowing forward through two world wars and a cold war and into america and through barry soetoro aka barack obama — then 2016-2020 reverse course by a moral people and good leadership +DJT.
We are at a turning point. Words are already done. Questions are already asked. We are at “the fight”.
I don’t disagree that we are “at the fight”, but what does that really mean? Probably means different things to each of us based on life experiences and current circumstances and that is kind of a problem in regards to overall effectiveness. Do we each just grab our arm of choice and march somewhere? And to fight who? Or, do we use any and all means to influence and educate. I kinda, sorta, maybe think it is the latter and that will take time. Believe me I understand the frustration and I try to live like one of my Uncle’s mottos: “If you are ready, you don’t have to get ready”.
We are at the stage where tyrants and their co-conspirators must be neutralized. We can talk to the useful idiots…but to what end? They are the true no-nothings.
My opinion: I abandoned FB several years ago because it was a huge time sink. People posted things, put things out into the ether, that they would never say to a person’s face. It seemed forced to be “friends” with people, because they were in a relationship with a family member, that were on a Social Justice warpath. I found my anxiety and anger growing over time. If I unfriended or blocked such people, I risked offending the family member. It just became increasingly annoying and fake.
The real fight is in the local community, local church, local city council, local school board, etc. “Fighting on Fakebook”, in my opinion, is virtual and not real. One would have to be very strategic in its use and not be distracted or way laid.
My two cents. Do as you will.
I agree. We are social beings. Engagement on social media is at best faceless and cold.
Think about your interactions there.
Do you regularly change your opinions because of interactions there?
Are you most likely to interact with groups who challenge you, or with whom you usually agree?
Face to face connections create empathy and feelings of fellowship. This is where opinions are changed and enlightenment begins.
Grassroots level changes are effective, and possible for even the risk adverse.
Yep. Elect your militia officers. Count that vote. Then move “toward freedom” and “retain your rights to have your vote IMPLIMENTED BY LAW”.
Arrests are overdue: make them yourselves.
You first. Let us now how it goes.
Agree. As I just posted…even here how many skip through posts? Facebook is the same. And for those who constantly post political info on Facebook..how many people on each person’s page actually read?
One on one is ALWAYS better! We must strive to connect on a more personal level.
Excellent point! I have done the same and after reading Mr. Hamachek’s article I have the same question. Like many Americans, my natural tendency is to go full ballistic when I feel “someone” is violating our rights as humans. So this requires an almost 180 degree turn from what I have been doing. In other words, maybe some of the blog sites I’ve dumped in protest are actually the better battlefields. I would really like to see a discussion of that on this board, one of the few places I can open up and let ‘er rip!
And for that – THANK YOU, SUNDANCE!! Thank you for all you have done and all that you do.
the first one. One can be useful by using FB as a tool. Even a small amplification of the message is something. Changing your mindset over ‘what is FB” from a social gathering and reflection of my life” to “tool of dissidence” is needed.
and faux biden didnt fking win
Yes I remain on facebook due to my animal rescue activities. But I also try to use it to educate. However, I am not good at debating commenters who are irrational without just attacking their sheep-ness.
I know this may sound foolish, but I engage in these arguments in my head. It gives me the opportunity to think out what points to make and HOW to say it. I have been practising the questions to ask (based on Seek 1st to understand, then to be understood.) so that I formulate a leading question that does not cause the listener to become defensive.
It did help when I had a “Karen Encounter.” The words flowed out. I was able to respond to each aspect of her arguemnt and in the end those who were caught standing by listening got exposed to common sense, common courtesy.
But I will say, I was rattled when it was over.
Yet, the opportunty to connect to the cashier who was serving us became the window of opportunity to remind others that difference of opinon does not make the other inhuman.
Most who turn discussions on FB into debates always do so by moving the goal posts, never answering directly or even tangentially the original question, so it’s easy to respond with ‘how does this “B” have anything to do with “A” then politely thank them for the wonderful ‘chit-chat’ and end it there, seems to work.
It keeps the question or original topic in the minds of those following so they can, on their own, begin to start forming, asking, the right questions.
Which may be a means to accomplish what the article’s author poses as “Recruit members from our passive side to our active side.”
FB algorithms greatly limited the reach of my postings. Pictures of the grandkids seemed to end up in most of my friends’ newsfeeds, but articles about politics were shadow-banned. I didn’t even post really controversial articles or comments, but just anything political never reached most of my intended audience. I was talking to a wall. So I left.
Gab is great, but limited compared to FB. I use both, for now. I sent this essay over there to spread the word.
Take it from an old PSYOP soldier, face to face is always best at getting buy in, understanding and behavioral change no matter what you are trying to do. Sometimes for expediency we used mass means to communicate (surrender leaflets to cut off units in the Gulf War for example), but to really get your message heard and into a population we talked face to face with anyone that would listen looking for the “key influencers” along the way.
I am finding Facebook a great place to practice posing questions knowing that my friends will read them, there will be a few of their ‘friends’ who will answer and, I proffer an additional question, in response to their answers and the further it goes they become unable, a few times, unwilling to answer – and I know that all of my friends ‘friends’ are, as the article mentions, are watching, listening and are beginning to take notice.
Facebook may benefit from more active dissidents.
From the linked article:
“Question everything (and do it in front of others). We all know how silly someone looks when they are asked a simple direct question and seem to be unable or unwilling to answer it. When we make them do so in front of others, those who are listening start to take notice.”
I do not believe Facebook is “a great place”. I think MAGA followers should boycott Facebook and if they choose, set up alternatives that honor free speech and privacy.
Facebook is not your friend. You have bought into an illusion. It is censoring you and spying on you and selling your data. Facebook was created by the Deep State/ CIA as a program called Lifelog and was a DARPA project. If you have true friends you can reach them by text, email, telephone or in person. Facebook admits to working to swing the election against PDJT. No one is truly impressed by the number of “friends” you collect on Facebook.
I understand that Facebook appeals to a certain age group, but it no longer appeals to the young, intelligent, and hip. I was informed this morning by a 30 year old that no one is on Facebook anymore-its for people’s mothers.
I like the old adage- if something is free, you are the product.
As for Facebook, there i is only the illusion that you are reaching anyone. How much of your feed was your friends and how much was other content? Your best bet is to send individual texts and snail mail. Expecting to reach people with a public post on FB is an expectation created by FB deceptive advertising and marketing practices. You would reach more people with a sign in your yard. Virtual communities can be powerful like this one but almost everything about FB is an illusion.
Perhaps doing without Facebook will highlight the need to connect once again on a more personal level with people.
One on one conversations between people accomplish more than random posting on a Facebook page.
Take my post here for example. Some will read, and some will not. Same with a Facebook post that would be made.
Personal conversations you KNOW they hear. Whether they listen..depends on each person, the one talking and what they say.
I was taught approach determines Response. A quiet nudge in the right direction has usually a more favorable outcome.
What I got from the article is work on those around you. Ask them questions. Point them in the right direction.
Me, I will send the article to others. Tell them to read one section at a time-twice. And we will talk about what we read and how we can put it into practice.
I will send by linking article in text. And talking with them on phone to discuss until we can meet personally.
Great piece .. I’ve similar thoughts but could not put it together like this..????
Retired Magistrate here: The way out of this mess is to start with your own household; you are the United States of America as founded so act accordingly. Don’t let the left control your mind; be a critical thinker and teach it to your children and grandchildren. Put it on display to your neighbors. Be the shining light in your neighborhood/community.
Look at Rush Limbaugh for an example. He never gave up. Before my autoimmune disease was diagnosed, I was gravely ill for about a year, down to skin and bones and my skin was gray. Anything I ate went right through me. Not pleasant. I can’t imagine what Rush went through in the last year, the pain and discomfort from the treatment along with the lung cancer. However, he was so passionate about what he did, he continued to do what he loved.
We all need to find something that we are passionate about and continue to do it, no matter what else is going on around us. We can control what is in our minds no matter what the rest of the world is doing. Everyone can continue to fight in our own way. DO NOT GIVE UP ON THIS COUNTRY AS FOUNDED.
Agree with you. And you know what Rush did? He moved to Florida to avoid the crushing NY liberal state of mind.
Every MAGA household should consider doing the same. We need to concentrate our political power and efforts in a few Red States in which we can be effective. Florida west to Texas and north to the Dakotas.
No one needs to move. Approx 3000 counties and bidden stole less than 400 i believe.
You are living through a psyop war and we haven’t even fired one “virtual or real world” shot.
Fight is coming boys.
Marcia- thanks for all your inspiration and great posts.
From Deplorable to Dissident in just a few years….
Love this – a great read!
That is a very good article.
I almost never argue with people. I ask then questions. Very few are able to put together anything coherent. If you are frustrated with people, give that a try. It’s easy to copy/paste some ridiculous crap from a left wing source. These people have a much more difficult time explaining and defending it.
I have a Left leaning friend (I mean an old friend from gradeschool days type of friend) and he uses this same method on some of my other FB friends. I usually end up being the only one to reply but the reply is in the form of a question back to him and I usually get no reply or, becasue he is a lawyer, I get a short book in reply. At this point I move on.
Yet they “occupy” your “desired and accepted” control mechanisms. And strip your rights from you… And tell you that you have no legitimacy to fight or arrest “them”!
The arguing is already over. They stole the vote. If “you” let them, they will kill millions “by any means necessary”. “They” (meaning collectivists/communists/previous-socialists) have in history mostly done exactly that.
Mark Twain said it’s hard to win an argument with a smart person but it’s impossible with a stupid one.
I like to ask questions too.
Like ,” Why did Biden get more votes than Trump?”
Then I try not to interrupt and let them talk as long as they want.
It very hard for me not to laugh but I’m working on it.
One person I ask started with ,” Because of TRUMPS tweets” then it got even more amusing….
The counter culture of dissidence needs to be codified… and it needs to be done in the form of a movie. Easy Rider was the flag for decades with the left. As we know once that counter culture assumed power they became “more equal than others”. I have mentioned Logan’s Run before as a possible template as well.
Documentaries about Russia Gate are great and historically necessary but in order to make a splash and grab the void there needs to be a generational novel or movie which describes our current state of affairs with modern day characters. And it needs to get out there in a hurry before all the means of distribution are muted.
The script is written already and the characters are already developed. The United States as a neo fascist police state with thought police and an oligarcic leadership… and a new group of counter culture dissidents devoted to freedom, truth and individualism. Somebody with the means just needs to do it.
In some ways, what you are calling for already exists as plots or sub plots in recent movies or series. Agents of Shield and Avengers. Hydra infiltrated every level of government. At one point the Avenger s were criminalized for refusing to obey globalists. Captain America was a vigilante and wore black. The last season of The Mandolorean the old Empire described exactly how they were planning to retake the galaxy: create chaos and then wait for people to beg them to restore order.
Run the idea by Steve Bannon. He has made several films.
“For those who might argue that there more of us, or at least as many of us, who believe in individual liberty and free market capitalism than there are opponents to same, I would suggest that you should not confuse a simple head count with total political atomic mass. The positions within society that our opponents hold and the institutions and machinery they control gives them leverage beyond simple membership numbers.”
From “A STRANGE GAME – the only winning move is not to play”:
“How can you defeat an enemy who controls the presidency, congress, mainstream media, social media, major cities, major states, the military, FBI, CIA, DOJ, and the courts?”
“For anyone who holds to the notion that if only Donald Trump had won the election, none of this would be happening, check your premises. Look what has happened in this country over the past four years while Donald Trump was president! This is much bigger than one man or any one party. This is historical in nature and involves over 200 years of continuous cause and effect.”
So, 200 years of damage to be reversed in what, 50 years? We’ll be in a virtual hell long before that.
“This means that those who are ‘active’ in their dissent cannot become critical of those who are passive. To do so risks their alienation and could push them into the circle below. We need to understand that not everyone has the same tolerance for risk. Nor everyone has a set of life circumstances that enables them to actively join a dissident movement. For those of us who can join, we must join on behalf of the others.”
“Life circumstances” preventing activism? Like having a job they’d like to keep?
“This is the new social stratification in America, and the dissident lies at the outermost ring, removed almost completely from the center of power. It is critical for the dissident to understand their position vis-à-vis others in order to understand how to penetrate and dismantle their opposition.”
Once again, from A STRANGE GAME – the only winning move is not to play:
“How can you defeat an enemy who controls the presidency, congress, mainstream media, social media, major cities, major states, the military, FBI, CIA, DOJ, and the courts?”
“We have people who are losing their jobs, effectively facing discriminatory practices in the workplace, for their political views. We have students losing scholarships. This list is long and it is growing. For anyone to deny the reality is to place themselves, and those around them, at risk.”
Ah, there’s a few of those pesky “life circumstances” logically preventing activism from the majority.
“This is not a call to pacifism. On the contrary. It is a call to reality. To be a dissident means to do the work that you can do, at risk, but working around the easy ways to snuff out your efforts. Posting a dissident piece of content on Facebook will simply have you removed from Facebook and without redress. We need to find paths of least resistance in which to undertake our activities.”
“Snuff out your efforts.” Like losing ones job, being identified as a potential domestic terrorist, and being relegated to social media, like this site, where one is preaching to the choir while the vast majority of our idiocracy plays Candy Crush on their smarter-than-they-are phones and get their news from the dominant propaganda feeds?
“The role of a dissident is to convert those who are opposed but who eventually come to realize and accept the teachings of the dissident. This comes through self-revelation.”
Apparently via telepathy. See immediately above.
“We cannot assume that we alone can cause the system to collapse or accommodate.”
The 80 million who voted for Trump can, easily and totally legally accomplish that as I and others have described, but that never takes off because people still stupidly believe, despite everything that has happened over the past five years, the last “election,” and the 2014 Princeton University study that statistically proved otherwise, that their vote means something.
“Work within the limits of the system.”
Correct. Stay legal. Which means take the only effective path one is allowed “within the limits” of a totally corrupt system, one which will totally legally affect the only thing they actually care about which guides everything they do, your money!: GO GALT!
“Our role models need to be people like Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Natan Sharansky, and Andrei Sakharov. These were courageous men, true dissidents, who stood up to totalitarianism during the period of Soviet domination.”
Because they set the path after the ECONOMIC COLLAPSE of the Soviet Union meaning it was not them but the ECONOMIC COLLAPSE of the system that allowed them to win. However, would you say that Russia today is any less of an oligarchy than the US or as free? I sure wouldn’t.
GREAT post.
“However, would you say that Russia today is any less of an oligarchy than the US or as free?”
Russia, has an inherited nature of being ruled by oligarcy, from 1300 until the creation of the USSR, it was ruled by one family, the Romanovs, and when it became the USSR it was ruled in the same manner, by one supreme dictator, so when the USSR fell away the nation reverted to its natural habit of being, picking someone to be their new Tsar.
The US has an inherited nature of individuals determined to be independent of a king/dictator/oligarch so when this current tempest of totalitarianism falls away, it will most likely revert back to its natural habit of being free.
We won’t know for sure until this episode in our nation’s life is over, and given that the USSR lasted for what 60-70 years at most? So, we could get lucky and have a much shorter duration of the coming totalitarian regime given that the majority of citizens are used to a greater amount of free expression, whereas in Europe, the fall-back of the peoples regardless of nation was to be subjects under a monarch.
But Americans today are increasingly not aware of what it means to be an American or that they are supposed to love freedom from tyranny or what the Founding Fathers stood for.
Most Americans today were not educated in American History, unless its the Howard Zinn version. They were schooled in the oppression of the white man and the genocide of the Native American and the slavery of the Africans. They don’t read “1984” or “Brave New World” anymore or even “Atlas Shrugged.”
Most Americans today no longer trace their ancestry to white Europeans. I have worked closely with people from India and they have a completely different perception of America. I faced the impossible task of trying to convince one new U.S. citizen from India that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.
I think being people of color many new Americans are more concerned about racial injustice than freedom from totalitarianism.
As street artist Sabo said: “Republicans are the new Punk”.
Incredible article. Long. Worth the read, a second or third time. I kept trying to capture the essence of it. While I don’t agree with the whole premise, so much of it is our current reality. We no longer have a Constitutional Republic. The experiment is over. Desire for control has overtaken desire for freedom. American citizens turned into Snitches against their neighbors (the worst kind of person!) There’s some hope expressed in the article, that we can view ourselves as Dissidents, and I do. But, the idea that we can’t fight our way out of this is naive in my opinion. We may well have to fight. Whatever we do, however we do it, never let them disarm you. The fact that a police officer had her duty weapon taken away because she merely attended a rally? Unbelievable.
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” (Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn)
WE MUST LOVE FREEDOM ENOUGH TO DEFEND IT.
The lazy cop…
Years ago maybe even now .. the local law enforcement had monthly ticket quotas. Yes.. you see the the powers to be decided to evaluate who got promoted by doing their job .. of writing a minimum of 300 tickets a month.
So some refused but many obeyed.. now we have the lazy cop… did he give the speeding ticket to the young punk .. who would argue go to court.. no of course not.. he picked the old compliant person.. the one who just complied.. like wearing a mask.
BUT THIS NATION WAS NOT FOUNDED BY PEOPLE.. WHO SAT AT HOME WATCHING SOAP OPERAS. IT WAS FOUNDED BY YOUNG PEOPLE..
THE SOAP OPERA PEOPLE REMAINED IN ENGLAND
MAGA
The wealthy entitled people who had something to lose stayed in England.
The upper class monarchy land owning class stayed and the poor people or those who wanted something badly enough to go out and take the risk of dying for a dream came to the New World.
Most of them were young but a lot of spoiled entitled people stayed in England too because they thought or actually they KNEW they were better than the poor farmers and shopkeepers who left England for greener pastures.
I think I know what you might be tryin to say Hans but if you look at PT rallies most of the MAGA people are a bit on the senior citizens side of the population.
Finally, an analysis that really gets at the heart of “what to do” in order to respond/resist/reclaim our disappearing American way of life. All of the “faithful” need to take the time and thoroughly digest Hamachek’s roadmap. The parallels are not coincidental to what the left has been doing using the same methods since infiltrating education and growing their dissident seeds throughout all the influential power centers of our nation (education, govt, media, law, entertainment—and now lastly business and military). Truly one of the most timely, insightful and intelligent pieces I’ve encountered. Thank you Sundance.
This isn’t Russia, China, Cuba or any other communist hellhole where “dissidents” are routinely rounded up, sent to forced labor camps and exterminated no matter how much some questionable folk would like to think. Or something a Grand Inquisitor would label a heretic as a ‘dissident’ too for not toting the ‘official’ narrative of whatever totalitarian theo-political regime controlled the commanding heights at the time. Because we are suffering through the modern inquisitions here in America just like in every other Western Cultured nation. The wrong think weapons of political correctness and Critical Theory (Frankfurt School), such as Critical Race Theory, Critical Economic Theory, …etc.
Ever notice the operatives of the Deep State Harlot always flip the narrative to accuse their enemies of exactly what they are and do? Well voilà! It kind of gives the game away in what Hamachek is trying to preach to us. Those Americans who still hold allegiances to the Supreme Law of the Land to which this Constitutional Republic is still under are not the dissidents. We are the lawful sovereigns.
The “dissidents” are those members of the Deep State Harlot. They are the who are the heretics who are committing treason against us in not abiding within the rule of law they are supposed to abide within. Right now they sit apart from the laws prescribed under the Constitution of the United States of America which then are now in disagreement with. The Deep State Harlot has rejected its very core doctrine and authority by certification of an overtly obvious fraudulent election. By the very definition they are the dissidents, fallen away from the rule of law by attempting to redefine those very foundational supreme laws.
So I’m wondering how could Brent Hamachek get it so backwards and wrong? Read his biography. It’ll give you some clue as to where this false narrative comes from. A warning too in that the enemy has deeply infiltrated and subverted every institution of the Commanding Heights in every Western county.
Could the reason be in part because this Hamachek guy studied theology at the private Jesuit research university of Loyola University in Chicago. Loyola also has guest programs in Beijing and Ho Chi Minh City. Think about that a bit. Chicago, Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City, Beijing Biden. Obama got his start in Chicago didn’t he? Oh and Biden was Obama’s cohort for eight years too. Makes you wonder who’s pulling his strings now doesn’t it?
Remember when Barry admitted that the U.S. Constitution was too restrictive to his purposes and designs? Also notice that Hamachek’s bio-page says he also spent fifteen years in the commercial banking industry. Hamachek has since then also had over 200 clients in a variety of capacities such as CEO, CFO, SVP. Those are just the typical profile of a Deep State Harlot operative which I’ve seen too many times not to notice how easy it is for such types to move from one sphere of influence to another. But hey thanks for the confession Brent Hamachek. You are a “dissident”. But you are in no way one of us.
Valid points Arthur. Conservatives are not dissidents. We are the last line of defense, protectors of the constitution, against an invading horde of that is intent on turning America into a modern day feudal state.
The elites and their acolytes are using all forms of media to sow division and create social chasms. They have already succeeded in creating pockets of civil conflict between citizens.
We are being trained to see those we disagree with in terms of a group, like Leftist, Socialist, Fascist, Insurrectionist, etc instead of as individual human beings. Unfortunately, the vast majority do not see it.
I fear a few more nudges and the country will explode.
I disagree that we are not dissidents. We are, in the real world, dissidents to the power structure and to the virtue-signalling culture that currently exists and is dominant in America today. We are the members of only the outer circle of the populace that makes up America today.
Really, really dangerous territory here. The idea of the dissident is that he is an enemy of the lawful government. Dovetails perfectly into the Deep State Harlots labeling of American Citizenry as being domestic terrorists. That is real world right now. We are the “lawful power structure” and not the body of people hiding behind razor wire and two divisions of armed military troops. We, the American Citizenry is the master and CEO of every governing official.
This is why I so distrust someone asserting a falsehood of a presupposition labeling every law-abiding American Citizen as being a “dissident”. The Governors, Attorney Generals, and Secretary of States who certified fraudulent elections are the dissidents for they disagree with the current laws of their own constitutions, both state and federal. So in that vein I’ll agree then that you assert yourself as one of them. You are a dissident tktk. Thank you for confessing as such. Dully noted.
While I understand what you are saying, the definition of dissident is disagreement with an established religion or political philosophy. What has been established as the current political structure is an oligarchy that is firmly in control of our country’s money, the military, law enforcement, education, the means and the content of communication. They are on the eve of cancelling all of our remaining rights under the Constitution.
I concur with the makeup of the American populace as depicted in the circle diagram in the article and the fact that we are currently the minority.
So I am proud to be a “dissident” standing with others who denounce the tenets of what has become the established oligarchy and the established culture of sheeple and the weak who support the oligarchs.
To re-establish the founding principles of our republic, we need to use every effective means possible, and one avenue is to reveal in living color who is executing the real insurrection against the Constitution.
Any law-abiding citizen of any of the fifty states is not a dissident. Period. To suggest otherwise is doing precisely what the dissident Deep State Harlot wants you to admit to being ‘domestic terrorists’. Flipping the narrative like they always do. Labeling you of what they are. They are acting as domestic terrorists, dissidents of the Constitutional Republic supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. We aren’t the criminal cabal, they are. We don’t oppose the enumerated natural rights of humanity, they do.
Thanks for sharing that research!
with all due respect, and in accordance with the authors’ own etiquette for disagreement in america, i have a few questions:
1. is the author’s purpose to convince 80+ million americans to simply whisper among themselves?
2. does the article demoralize into silence those who might publicly dissent by summarily pronouncing their martyrdom?
3. is there an attempt to solidify and amplify the innermost “circles of power” in the readers’ mind?
4. has the author Conceded In Absentia for all of us? (caps intentional?)
my apologies, ARTHUR – was not disagreeing with you!
should read “with all due respect to the (articles’) AUTHOR….” ?
With all due respect. Go ask the author Brent Hamachek what his motivations are for wanting people to confess to being a “dissident”. Otherwise maybe get in touch with a lawyer to find out what the legal ramifications are by your admission to being a dissident from your own countries, states lawful governance. We are the law-abiding here and do not dissent from it. But we see dissidents working in governing offices who are subverting the rule of law. Of that I’m sure we can all agree to.
thank you arthur, i actually was posing those questions in support of your excellent points, and your reply is equally so.
so riled up, guess i wasn’t very clear.
to me, the article had a distinctly doctoral thesis in “armchair manipulation of the masses 101” tone.
you elucidated my concerns with it perfectly.
we good??
You’re right, Zoom. You’ve seen through the whole thing.
Interesting addition to the discussion, Arthur. Personally, I am very impressed with the Hamachek essay. Rather than throwing the baby out with the bathwater by rejecting the article due to aspects of Hamachek’s background, I will attempt to implement many of Hamachek’s suggestions. You are right that we are not YET fully Russia, Cuba, China. But how far away from them are we when a Demo/communist/oligarchic cabal can and has stolen our election; shuttered our President; successfully “doxxed” many important (and more average) people, looted and destroyed our cities, shut down the country, corrupted ALL of our institutions, successfully prosecuted (e.g., Flynn, Stone, Manafort) those associated with Trump or his campaign; harassed and persecuted many others (e.g., K.T. McFarland, Jerome Corsi) – all the while walking scot-free for their crimes? So, parse Hamachek’s magnificent presentation as you will – I will seek to spread its message to those who are interested.
The Founders were ‘dissidents’. They were also Patriots, and so are we.
I am absolutely in the outer circle where all of my family are in the circle or two below me. And none of them listen to anything I say.
Bit I have chosen to be active. I have not warn a mask anywhere except at medical appointments where they make me. I get flack some places but I hold my ground and try to educate others who get on me. I have some close friends who do the same and we can encourage each other. We have found a group in our immediate area of citizens who refuse to wear masks and have joined them and made some great new friends. There are over 60 of us.
I have also joined Free PA, mostly business owners in our state who want to be open 100%. I’m not a business owner myself but I am supporting them They are becoming very active and are in at least 3 of my neighboring counties and possibly in other parts of the state.
These may seem like small things but we can all do something in our communities to make our feelings known.
Also I have joined

The paper route…
As a young boy I liked material things.. almost averyone young child does..
So how did we obtain money.. well we collected soda bottles.. you the ones that had 2 cents or a nickel deposit on them.
we would go about and ask neighbors if they had any .. and take them back to the grocer… then one day I struck gold…. someone offered me their paper route.
It was my first real job…. I delivered papers every day of the week.. but on Saturday I collected the money and kept 10 cents for my self from each customer. So I had 31 customers … $3.10 a week I was rich.. a coke at the drug store cost a nickel.. yes I could buy a hot chocolate drink on a cold winters day.. And my father opened up a savings account for me at the local bank.. yes the one that had a savings book.. and every week I watched my money grow..
But I also remember the cold and snow.. yes because news papers had to be delivered , Every day.. so I walked in the rain.. I walked in the snow.. I LEARNED NOTHING IS FREE … and I delivered the papers until we moved to a new home and. I closed out my bank account all of $30.10 cents..
MAGA
Great article
We would outnumber & outgun them on the battlefield.
That location is your front door when they come to take away your guns..
The powers to be won’t send one person.. and you have the tactical advantage.. home turf and no idea what you are thinking or planning to do..
That fear in them will be their defeat..
MAGA
There won’t be a knock on the door.
What there may be is a refusal of your credit card at purchase, a denial of your driver’s license renewal, a fee assessment come tax time, and so on.
When you are sufficiently starved of food or services or access to normal necessities, you’re officially embargoed from society. But, you have your possessions. Most, if not all, people would be worn down at that point, and for those who persisted, the possessions would be discovered to have been missing one day.
That would be counter productive..
How many illegals drive without drivers lisence, or insurance.
There is NO RULE OF LAW..
You only obey such illegal laws as convenient….
Time for lean and mean..
The last thing the Uniparty wants is No Economy.. they can’t steal money from a society that does not produce goods.. fiat money only last while convenient..
Obay their Rule of Law at your own peril.
Are you sure about that?
America is now occupied by Bolsheviks. The American flag is no longer the symbol of patriots. It is worn on the shoulders of Chinese collaborators and cheese eating surrender monkeys. Until you use the 2nd amendment, the only other power you have is the power of nullification. Do not actively participate in the illusion of normalcy.
.
And never, ever talk to me about ‘law and order’ or peaceful means. When my freedom is at risk I am quite happy to bust eggs for omelets. I have no desire to be accepted as peaceful by republicans. I am not…
Virtual classes will be the bane of the school teachers’ unions.
When it is discovered that a single recorded lesson series can be used repeatedly (did they remake Star Wars for YOU when you saw it at the theater, or did you get to watch the single produced version?), year after year, and licensed to multiple jurisdictions across the land, then what is the value of the local teacher x 1000? There will be some component of live classroom for those who need remedial instruction beyond the recorded series. That would amount to a fraction of the nominal class size, and it would/could be by appointment–and also recorded and replayed–so the required staff drops significantly. The staff need not be local to the district, either.
Now, all of a sudden, with recorded instruction, limited demand live instruction, and location agnostic teacher/pupil nexus, you have massive oversupply of teachers compared to the demand. Ranks will be eroded precipitously. The only way they stave off that result is to resort to on-site, live education.
For a county to see the cost advantage of a virtual system compared to that of a live, in-person system may result in prompt closure of school plants so as to get them decommissioned and perhaps condemned/unrecoverable.
I like it! Great suggestion CopperTop. Very creative.
What some here, and other places, have been stating, more or less, for several years.
A long, long battle (100 years or more) is ahead of us. As the left has been doing, they will continue with even more shocking deeds and displays of more power and force over the masses. They will relinquish nothing until there is nothing left to relinquish. Sadly, a victory of that long battle, even if it is sustainable, will reward us with the world’s largest “shithole”….. not that it isn’t that already.
May God Have Mercy Upon Us All.
Yugoslavia a lesson for all
So I watched A travel program on Yugoslavia after their civil war the other night.
For anyone not familiar.. Yugoslavia was a Balkan nation of Slavs .. all of them were Slavs.. and in Yugoslavia were three religions.. Catholic, Christians and Muslim..
Tito was the comunist ruler of Yugoslavia for many years and held the country together and he was deposed after the Russian Federation broke apart..
With Tito and the Comunist Rule of Law gone.. a new economic rivalry took place.. and finally the religious war took place.. you see some factions within each religion wanted power.. they stoked hatred..
and fear..
In the end three small nations were created… along religious lines.. and People were asked about the civil war.. all three regions said it was not worth the pain and suffering..
So what’s my point.. the United States is at the same point that Yugoslavia was at before the breakup and Civil War.
There are factions in this government trying to grab power. Economic advantage.
There is hate mongering.. of all sorts.. the Rule Of Law no longer exists.. and that spells the end of the United States as we know it.
So the question is this… how much distruction will occur.. how dark will the winter be, how long will the winter last
MAGA
Make America Great Again.. so true.
We have been economically privileged to the point that religion has taken a back seat in our cultural development of the younger generations. We have no ability to fragment along religious lines anymore.
The fact that we are remarkably departed from religious affiliation in the main means that we are a morally unanchored nation. We’re floating.
With the advent of political correctness and “right thinking”, multiple generations have been affected enough to have rewritten varying parts of their own personal constitutions. Think of how you reflexively check your own comments based upon what you’re about to say. Think of how you know at a gut level that older ways are expressly forbidden in mixed company and automatically comply.
Anyone else been cowed into not wearing their MAGA hat in public over the past four years? Not at rallies, but just on the street. Little . . . by little . . . . .
by little. ’til it’s all gone.
Premise flaw.
The power center in the American system is the people and it involves arms and the Militia.
No one asks questions at this point. The questions are already asked and answered: its slavery; its despotism; “they” lost your consent.
That whole essay is pure twaddle especially the part about hobbes. Our founding fathers UNDERSTOOD that power corrupts and the reservoir of good and freedom was “the people” who consent to governance and then time to time take up arms, put control mechanisms in place for focusing violence on targets (militia), and choose new guards more reliably predicted to produce security and freedom — Again, that the power was the problem and the individual was the best guardian of their rights and their liberty!
We can chose to refound the country on the Constitution, agreeing that this document is good and functional: but ALSO AGREEING that Constitution is not, has not, will not be enforced by the current set of tyrants… and then enforce it your self. “They” are outside the “law” — congress certifying the stolen vote and rupturing you rights IS IS IS the treasonous violation.
The Declaration with the second Amendment says “THE LAW” and Legitimacy is precisely your RIGHT and DUTY to change the guards. They have no numbers. They have no “leverage”. They have no legitimacy. They are the dissident “occupying your government buildings.
Take them back. Man them with moral men – including Donald J Trump as elected. Now.
What do you suggest we moral men do about Comey? Clapper? Strzok? Brennan? DOJ political prosecutions against DJT supporters, and refusal to pursue treason of FBI, DOJ? Failure to pursue Hunter or “the Big Guy”?
There is a huge flaw in his logic. At the center is not the government, but multinational companies. They fund the politicians and political parties. Without the multinationals, the politicians would not be able to ignore the voters.
Look at Georgia. Why did Karl Rove and Mitch McConnell tell Perdue and Loeffler to distance themselves from Trump, when it was obvious it would probably cost them the election? It was because that’s the only way the big Republican donors would give up the cash. Why does McConnell want to rebuild the Republican party without Trump? Again, because McConnell counts on the multinationals for his money.
It is the multinational companies that are pushing globalism. The government follows their lead, not the other way around.
While I agree with a lot of what is recommended in this article – and that those are actions we can all take individually – for these to have a significant impact will take too long to address the immediate crisis. Yes, we are in a crisis and if we don’t respond in a big way we will lose our country before most people realize it. The left is hell-bent on destroying the U.S. and our way of life – and expeditiously so! The majority of Americans do not support this – which the valid election results prove. Look at all the Walkaway people, all the huge MAGA rallies across this country, all the MAGA people who fled communist countries, etc. The MAGA Movement had and continues to have great support! It is imperative for this momentum to continue and with rallies across this country, but with greatly improved visibility (and with VSPT’s social media network he is working on, according to the Gateway Pundit article today)!
This MAGA Movement momentum must be continued across our country in order to fight back and bring other freedom and American-loving people to our side. I feel that the only way to stop what is happening at this point is major action by large groups of people with a common goal. In my view, the best way is for President Trump to continue to lead the MAGA movement – with rallies across this country with a continued positive message counteracting all the negativity surrounding Americans at this time. As the current Administration’s policies continue to be rolled out, and negatively impact people’s lives and/or people see the negativity of those policies, more people will join our MAGA Movement! I believe that many people who voted for Biden/Democrats don’t even know that they really aren’t Democrats at all, because their value systems aren’t aligned with those of the Democrat Party.
(We all believe and understand how imperative it is for the fraudulent election system to be corrected, but doing nothing to save our Nation until that occurs will be too late.)
As a first step, I suggest we all write President Trump at his Mar-a-Lago address showing our support for him and the importance of his involvement in continuing the MAGA Movement he started for all of us and our nation.
You are so right! We are an army of millions without a leader.
I hope Greg Kelly is right when he says that President Trump will be back soon in a big way.
The evil Commies are counting on our President not coming back.
This article is right on the money as to where we are as a nation. Now that being said, It’s the most cowardly article I have read in my life. As I’m reading it one thought came to my mind if our founders would have used the same disposition as described in the article there would not have been a USA. Then I think about Cuba and Venezuela by now you would think most people would be dissident. And they’re still not free people.
This here really did it for me “What we need to understand as Americans who value individual liberty and free market capitalism is that our role models are not George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Paine. They can still be heroes, but for the situation in which we find ourselves, they cannot be role models. Their situation in 1776 does not truly resemble ours today. Their time is not our time.”
There are lots of similarity from that time and our time in my opinion. Freedom is not free. And to change peoples mind at the workforce while in school children are being indoctrinated. Well I guess the writer thinks that in two hundred years we could have our country back.
Let’s face it we fight or we died.
I agree. The article is merely an exercise in theoretical inaction.
Sure, let’s be like Solzhenitsyn fighting the evil Soviet regime. But, what really happened with that. It was the freedom loving nations that used Solzhenitsyn’s words against the Soviets. Solzhenitsyn had zero ability to change things internally as he sat in the Gulag. It all happened because we used his words against the Soviets from the outside. Where is the outside force defending the freedoms and rights of us dissidents?
We are the last bastion…there is no cavalry. We lose here…the flame of liberty goes out until armed dissidents take it back. Post it notes and letters intended to engage the useful idiots supporting suppression is meaningless and a waste of time. Men of action needed.
I’m ready. Where are you reporting for duty? I’ll go there ready for action.
Read it. Nodded my head all along, seeing things the way the author does. He ends by saying it’s going to be a long slog, that there will be darkness before light.
My question is, “On what basis will the coming darkness yield to light?”
I cannot fathom that a decade-long darkness will be restored to anything resembling the former USA. The author speaks of Plato, Locke, Socrates, and others. I challenge any parent today to get a meaningful answer from his public school kid about who any of those people are and a 50-cent summary of their works. Yeah, the kids of tomorrow are going to be the restorers of liberty. Can I take the lump sum distribution on that annuity?
In physics, in sports, in politics, in life, timing is everything. He says to walk away from the 2020 election theft as too polarizing, too Trump-centric, and only a symptom and not a cause of our collective woes. I disagree with that thought. The 2020 Theft is a specific crime that enables the FURTHER destruction of our system; it should be THE focal point for immediate, unceasing actions. To fail in that causes a loss of focus, dejection by many, and it allows the present administration to claim legitimacy be default. Once the administration has legitimacy, then guaranteed, you’re a dissident.
The definition of a dissident is one who disagrees with the plurality, a nonconformist. We are not dissidents. If we become that, we cede the leverage we have at present.
He talks of “a-ha” moments for the passive citizen. The 2020 Theft is standing there in the open, naked. It has quite a lot of people gawking in disbelief. That is the the “a-ha” moment to seize upon, NOW.
Once you’re penned up, you can engage in dissident behavior, because that will be all you have. Until such time, act. What constitutes action? Use your head. The USA is a world leader in inventiveness. Begin now.
Excellent and thought provoking comment.
Reading only gets you so far. Actions speak louder than words.
Passivity is comfortable!
Passivity is safe.
Passivity has brought us here.
Passivity will mean the death of us.
Just Do It Now.
Did Obama think that the USA was a corrupt and evil country, founded on taking advantage of black people? Did he decide to change the system from within, and put in power all those who felt as he did about America? Did Obama take over the CIA/DOJ/FBI and then spy on his enemies and change children’s textbooks to show how evil America was.
What did Trump do to retake the CIA/DOJ/FBI and put MEGA people in charge, and find people that LOVED America in positions of power in the CIA/DOJ/FBI etc?
Yes. Yes. Yes. Not enough, but he was hamstrung by the McConnell led Senate in making the appointments necessary to complete the task, e.g., Grenell was only DNI temporarily until Ratcliffe was successfully installed on the second attempt, there are other examples. And the same Senate precluded recess appointments.
Incredibly, Brent Hamachek makes No mention of the corrupt Law Profession and corrupt Judiciary ……The election was stolen by corrupt Lawyers and a corrupt, complicit Judiciary ‘Illegally’ changing election Laws in Swing States/Counties….Zero has been done about this Fact…..
If the Rule of Law and The Constitution is willfully ignored and purposely violated(which it is) with absolutely Zero consequences/accountability then nothing else matters…..
Just a little while longer and John Durhams full investigation will be complete on Spygate

If I remember correctly President Trump wanted Tort Reform..
It never happened..
Unbridled Lawsuits are draining the blood out of this nation. Every day I’m watching. 10 to 30 adverstizements about some sort of abuse.. that you need to claim.. billions of dollars.

“The Beast” in the bible, is what we’re up against, and it includes the whole world.
My biggest criticism of the article is that it doesn’t acknowledge that this is a global issue. If you read articles or watch (usually banned) videos from other Western countries, the same sort of totalitarianism is being implemented by COVID rules. Just look at the goals of the World Economic Forum, right on their website.
The Beast isn’t on the scene yet.
btw, it’s Bible.
Sobering. Literate. Realistic. IMO, the biggest point Mr. Hamachek made is, “This is not about Donald Trump and the stolen election.” I agree. I believe President Trump did NOT pursue vote-reform because that is a state-by-state issue. It should not be a federal issue at all. Practically speaking, I believe President Trump’s most influential achievement is energy independence and lower fuel costs for every American. If gasoline gets back up to 5 bucks a gallon (or more) after 4 years at 2 dollars or less, people who think Biden is cool will begin to rethink their premise.
Thanks to Mr. Brent Hamachek for bringing me back to the here-&-now. I hope President Trump finds a place to employ Mr. Hamachek’s powers of insight.
btw: For an accurate report of what Liberty in America was like before the Communist Revolution, look into Mark Twain’s Life On The Mississippi. It is a collection of unforgettable vignettes describing how all kinds of American citizens were living during the turn from the 19th century to the 20th century. Twain’s description of how men floated huge rafts loaded with cargo down the river and walked back up the Natchez Trace describes a life of genuine Liberty and prosperity. Life On The Mississippi is a great piece of all-American literature. Get a copy before it’s banned in Boston.
He did pursue vote reform and the states resisted so hard that they weren’t getting anywhere. So he disbanded the group.
“People are capable of sustaining individual liberty only for as long as they can be constrained by a system of law that suppresses and contains their true nature.”
In other words, America can only be truly free when America authentically belongs to God the Father of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17.
Saving America must include a return to authentic faith. Not this pearl-clutching, self-righteous, Pharisaical version that is the mainstream or its ugly twin that allows an unchanged, debauched life to masquerade as “c”hristian.
A faith that does not make it from the brain to the head, heart, and hands is no faith at all. James 2:14-26
This is one of the many parts of the harmony that must be blasted with the trumpets Sundance keeps reminding us about.
Sadly, religious institutions are also in the author’s power and influence category either as active oppressors like the institution of the Roman Catholic church or as passive oppressors who support cultural Marxism under false teachings of twisted scripture interpretations as many protestant denominations have done. Each local church has to be evaluated. No one church of any denomination can be painted with the institutional oppression brush. [I am a pastor and my own denomination has fallen into the narrative of BLM, illegal immigration,
and American privilege.]
“We need to awaken to the reality that we are not a majority. We are not a vocal minority with the same rights as the majority. We are now dissidents.”
I disagree. We are dissidents, but we are majority dissidents, at least for now.
If they were the true majority, they wouldn’t need to steal elections, buy politicians, introduce a Pandemic, rule by decree, legislate from the bench, burn down cities, enact bureaucratic fiats, sign One Man Laws and Treaties, open the borders, propagandize the public, spy on opponents, etc..
If they were the true majorities, they wouldn’t need any of those methods to get their way. They would just vote. They only seem larger because the control the One-Party Press, Hollywood and Academia. Yes we are dissidents, but Majority Dissidents.
Good point,
The article has some solid overview points too.
Another way to look at the 2 dimensional, concentric circle graph:
The article mentions the overall forest amongst the trees, and mentions some wise general tactics (to each his / her own on how to more wisely implement / improvise in case by case scenarios…)
on how to better address the situation(s) , over time, many people.
Socratic method…ask questions… (see article)

“Our task now is not to sell a philosophy, but to make the majority of Americans, who already share that philosophy, see that modern conservatism offers them a political home. We are not a cult, we are members of a majority. Let’s act and talk like it. The job is ours and the job must be done. If not by us, who? If not now, when?”
Ronald Reagan – The New Republican Party — The Patriot Post
If we are indeed the majority, nevertheless, the “minority” controls the levers of power and has thoroughly corrupted our institutions, as the author explains.

A well written and interesting peace.
It is the longest and most comprehensive explanation, of how I should except the results of this election.
I am a dissident, to the frame of mind, we were somehow out smarted. I know exactly what happened. President Trump overwhelmed the steal, on November 3rd.
The fraud was performed ‘out in the open’, because the ‘majority’ of legal American voters voted for the incumbent President in record numbers. Democrats didn’t cheat, they broke the law.
I can feel the pushback already. Everyday the pushback will grow. We have a learning curve that takes time and study. We’re already winning over many voters who really don’t care what is going on, because it didn’t change their life either way.
President Trump’s greatest gift? He gave us a taste, what a functioning America can be like. We just had the taste ripped away from ‘all’ of us.
There are to many of us, who want it back, and we’re growing.
On second reading and reflection this article and post is jacked up.
In a constitutional republic, we send representatives of the people to centralized governing functions to EXECUTE THE LAWS AND WILL OF THE PEOPLE: and when they fail there are consequences. Especially consequences when the government ITSELF is the lawbreaker.
Again, the people tell the government what to do.
Conversely, in a monarchy, dictatorship or (communist/corporate) oligarchy, the government tells the people what to do.
This authors premise and graphic show we have an oligarchy/dictatorship and given that we know this: we were told to make the argument, stay peaceful, win it at the ballot box… AND THEY STOLE IT.
We all know what’s coming if the SC fails and the military fails to close the DC fenced in trap. We Know!
This article is a bad joke and praise for it is unwarranted. Its premise is false (power is in the government not the people) and its solution (argument and no conflict etc with voting to follow) is already in our history (2016-Nov 3 2020) and bulldozed aside by communist oligarchs and tyrants.
And he who is not sufficiently courageous to defend his soul — don’t let him be proud of his ‘progressive’ views, and don’t let him boast that he is an academician or a people’s artist, a distinguished figure or a general. Let him say to himself: I am a part of the herd and a coward. It’s all the same to me as long as I’m fed and kept warm.“ Alexander Solzhenitsen
“It is vital for these two outermost groups that they do not further fracture. Given its status as outsiders, membership is critical. This means that those who are “active” in their dissent cannot become critical of those who are passive.”
I’ve seen this in the form of “dissident virtue signalling.”
If your still [on Twitter, on Facebook, don’t go to the capital for the rally (before the actual rally) etc.,] you’re not a true patriot.
The truth is, we are each uniquely and eternally valuable in God’s trumpet chorus. We each have a sphere of influence and abilities that are part of God’s plan for America. Jeremiah 29:11

imho
I do not know
Thank you for sharing this article; have saved it as future guide post as events unfold. Already thinking up questions for posting to my online friends.
Sadly, this the one of the truest things I have read in a while.
There is only a fringe minority in America today that truly wants a society on the basis Locke & Montesquieu. Jefferson & Madison would not win even a primary election today.
The majority of Americans are now in “identity” groups. They want big & bigger government to enforce the “morality” of their group. In politics either you’re a Trumpist, or Sanderista or a “conservative” or a “liberal” or your primary loyalty is as a “LGBT” champion or a “Christian evangelist” or whatever identity one selects for themselves.
Brent Hamachek is going to be a lonely dissident as so few Americans when push comes to shove wants a society with most fundamental fulcrum being E Pluribus Unum with common shared value of individual liberty being the most sacrosanct.
This is an EXCELLENT piece — well worth the time to read. I have some quibbles — he refers to the 100 year decline in this country, but does not mention Progressivism. And he seems inclined to imply (at least) that it may take that long to claw back … and fails to mention the CCP behind the curtain. But overall, some great analysis and valuable ideas for action.
I was also taken by his mention of Solzhenitsyn; in my post on Trevor Loudon’s site this week, I quote extensively from his “Live Not By Lies.” With all due humility, I would ask each of you reading this to take the time to read that post, AND the links that I directly linked into the text of it (the References at the end are optional).
I am confident that you will find it, well, a perfect accompaniment to this “Dissident” piece (and ask that if you do agree – but ONLY if you agree – that you assist in spreading it around): https://www.trevorloudon.com/2021/02/we-had-a-color-revolution-under-color-of-law-but-we-can-still-reclaim-our-country/?unapproved=3943440&moderation-hash=d2e7e99e4dbe12f53d3c3ff7d005bcf2#comment-3943440
Thank you.
All my life I have been aware that the loudest mouths in any group always go for the common reading of Hobbs on the nature of man and its commonly supposed political implications. Leaving aside that the common reading of Hobbs on man’s nature is inaccurate with respect to what he wrote and meant, I have observed all these years that loud mouths’ conjuring of Hobbs (common reading) is cover for their being overbearing loud mouths.
This Hamachek writer is one of those loud mouths. He does not know Hobbs, he does not know human nature, and he does not know political philosophy. I note that Sundance posts Hamachek without comment. I note also that most commenters here take Hamachek as an oracle.
Hamachek’s post is a rhetorical honey-pot trap, a classic of the breed in fact, and the Hobbs-reference has historical precedent in such a use. Such traps are floated out in order to draw approval and thereby give their creators targeting information. Less sophisticated trolling now infests conservative blogs, whereat countless trolls beat their chests, forecast civil war (always just around the corner), and yell out the need for action. These are targeting trolls working for big-monied comment farms who are making lists of persons to surveil, market to, and otherwise own.
If the common reading of Hobbs is accurate and, as Hamachek implies, the last word on the subject, then Menagerie’s spiritual and culinary interests have no place at CTH. But those interests are very present at CTH. ERGO: Hamachek’s conjuring of Hobbs (common reading) is not the last word on the subject, and Hamachek’s call to action — a call he himself no doubt ignores — is not sound.
IMO: Hamachek is an ignorant loud mouth working an agenda about which he is taciturn. A theological appreciation of political philosophy — and reminder to devotees of a common reading of Hobbs — might look something like this: https://theological-geography.net/?p=49938
And I thought I was rough on him!
I have finished reading the entire article and I disagree 100% with his premise. Ever since the election, I have been reading and studying as fast as I can, trying to understand what happened and why. Hamacheck discusses what happened, but not why it happened.
How is it that all these disparate incidents have pushed us in the same direction? We can’t fight against what is happening if we don’t understand why it is happening. If we find out the why, we are also likely to find out the who – who is financing and directing the destruction of our institutions, culture, religion, and government?
There is one institution that can fight back, even without knowing the why and who – the church. It is time for ministers, priests, rabbis, and other religious leaders to stand up and speak out. It’s time to get families back in church. It’s time for a religious revival. We need the moral clarity the church can provide.
Instead of basing his paper on Hobbes, who is largely discredited, I would suggest he read Jonathan Haidt’s The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion and Haidt and Greg Lukianoff’s The Coddling of the American Mind: How Good Intentions and Bad Ideas Are Setting Up a Generation for Failure.
A brief description of Haidt and Lukianoff from wikipedia.
Haidt’s main scientific contributions come from the psychological field of moral foundations theory,[2] which attempts to explain the evolutionary origins of human moral reasoning on the basis of innate, gut feelings rather than logical reason.[3] The theory was later extended to explain the different moral reasoning and how they relate to political ideology, with different political orientations prioritizing different sets of morals.
Lukianoff is the president of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE). Lukianoff and his co-author Jonathan Haidt were awarded the Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Award in 2019 for their book The Coddling of the American Mind.
We have a short-term problem and a long-term problem. The short-term problem is simply too many of us sitting on our butts and not doing anything to take back the House in 2022. If the Democrats don’t have the House, we effectively stop the Democrat’s agenda. It’s not unreasonable to think that we could also take back the Senate. That’s something we can do, but it requires doing more than just posting comments.
As for the long-term problem, we have to think long-term. We can change things a lot by taking over school boards and state governments. If we control education at the local and state level, we can control what gets taught. We can cut funding to state universities that are teaching our kids to become anarchists and destroy America. We can cut programs that don’t train people for real jobs. We can control city councils and mayors, making sure the law is enforced.
The harder long-term projects are to root out corruption in government, shrink the size making it harder for activists to be hidden in agencies, and pass legislation that limits the power of transnational companies.
That’s as far as my research has gotten me. I have my hunches about who is behind what is happening and why they are doing it. Let me just leave it as for globalism to truly be implemented, our customs, religion, institutions, borders, and our individual rights have to be destroyed. Much of this is being done by pawns who are being funded and manipulated and have no idea what the real agenda is.
Steve Bannon is pushing The Precinct Project, which aims to take over the Republican Party nationwide at the precinct level. There are 200k Precinct openings, waiting for you. Go here, to The Precinct Project: https://theprecinctproject.wordpress.com
I think you are right. The Electoral Coup is not the Globalist Revolution. It is just the latest incursion, though it is a dangerous one. The Bolsheviks are in the Capitol, surrounded by razor wire. But they don’t control the rest of the country. So we are not yet Dissidents. We are Patriots, ready to fight back, by legal means if possible. Patriots working at the State and Local levels can leave the Bolshevik Globalists isolated behind the fences they have erected, and can eventually drive them out. All is not yet lost.
We are no longer The Deplorable’s.
We are now The Ungovernable’s.
We are The Unalienable ones.
If your reading this you are most likely the Resistance to Tyranny and believer in the Preservation of Freedom, and Blessings of Liberty. It is not rocket science, it is common sense, regardless of others, we are a plurality of legitimacy, we own the moral high ground. This is our territory. This is the advantage we resist from. And faith, fantastic thing faith. Faith in God, faith in self, faith in dignity of liberty. Faith you will prevail in the end. It is winning. It is MAGA too. Why MAGA and the color revolution of November 8-9, 2016 is so awesome.
Good folks become manifest in this way. That is as it should be. The ruthless out to rule us, or worse, when they try to steal our mandate, they have made a terrible mistake, they do not understand how mean good folks get when you violate their codes. Did they ever. Cold anger… We are Legion.
Excellent article.
The inner circles use their power for their own gains. Though they are outnumbered by the populace they are protected in part by creating disharmony in the outer circles. In a sense the the supporters are a wall protecting the elite. As opposition grows the wall starts to crumble.
Excellent post. I will be sharing it as much as possible.
“We need to awaken to the reality that we are not a majority. We are not a vocal minority with the same rights as the majority. We are now dissidents. We do not have the same voice as our ever-strengthening oppressors, and we do not have the same rights that they enjoy…”
One of the great Rush Limbaugh’s sayings was he had “naivete born of optimism,” and it caused me a good amount of disagreement with him in respect to the above quote; Rush always said that “we outnumber them,” but the author and I disagree with what he said and it has become increasingly obvious that we don’t outnumber them plus they have the big institutions/leverage(see the subsequent paragraph). Also, author lists the entities making up the red concentric circle, but he does not include Big Healthcare companies, and believe me they belong there, otherwise they would not have been so supportive of Obama’s ACA, don’t trust Big Healthcare/AMA, etc.
