Please pray for my sister in law, Dani, 77. She is in the hospital, ICU. She was feeling badly all day and began passing out and seizing this evening. She is responding to medication to raise her heart rate. Anxiety med calming her. She’ll have a head/neck CT tonight. They were going to do an emergency pacemaker insertion tonight but since she is responding to meds she will be scheduled for that sometime within 3 days.
My dear sister has been a mess over these past 3 weeks. She decided to move back home to Southern California. The week before the move she totaled her car. The airbag bruised her chest and broke her glasses. It also caused a bleed in one eye which she had surgery on 2 days before leaving. She’s only been home a week and now this.
Please pray our Lord will guide her doctors to the reason this is happening and the right corrections for her growing health issues. She moved home to be with her children and grandchildren. Thank you all so very much. I love you all!
Praying for your sister-in-love, Dani, Deb. So very sorry to hear about this very stressful time for her. Sounds as though she is near her dear family in the nick of time. I pray for her restfulness, peace of mind, and comfort as she heals and rehabilitates.
Thank you, JWoo. She did return to family in the nick of time. She is first this morning for the pacemaker.
Dani and I have been friends since 1969, sisters in law since 1970 and sisters in Jesus a few years after that. We’ve held each other up through good and bad, such a blessing!
Deb, your dear sister has been through a lot, and I’m sorry.
It’s hard to bear up under several stresses at once, especially in older age.
I will pray that God brings healing, strength, and comfort to her today and in the future.
O Lord, please provide everything that Dani, Deb’s sister, needs. You know each one and sustain all things by Your powerful Word.
Please give the medical team skills, good judgment, and compassion as they assist her.
Gracious God, please remain at Dani’s sickbed and envelop her with Your Presence.
May Dani be filled with contentment because You are with her.
Give Dani and all of the family the blessing of Your peace, O Lord.
Assure them all that they are under Your watchful eye, and held in Your everlasting arms.
Lord, please be their Refuge and Guide for every moment.
Draw them – each one – close to Thee, and may Your perfect will be done.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
What a beautiful prayer. Thank you so much Miss Della. She is holding her own currently. We are praising our Lord for that.
That is great news, Deb ❤️
Agreeing in prayer with my sisters for a healing touch from the Lord to be upon Dani. God bless you so much, Deb.
🙏❤️
Praying! And hoping there was no cardiac contusion from the airbag…Hoping and praying for a speedy recovery.
I am in a sales position and am 56 years old. I was in an industry that collapsed due to covid and am now in a completely different industry. I did progressively well my first 3 years but have been really struggling since the beginning of this year and I am afraid I may lose my job as early as tomorrow. Please pray for me to be able to overcome whatever comes. Thanks.
Praying.
Hi Mary,
Sometimes God moves mountains for us. I will pray that whatever may come, that God will open new doors for you to adventures you never dreamed imaginable. Commit to Him all your ways and He Will make your paths straight.
During times when my life was really uncertain, I journaled to Him. Giving Him just a few months, I was able to look back and see His Divine Provision at every turn. Maybe that practice would be helpful to you, too?
Will be praying for you.
Mary, May the Lord give you His peace in this situation as He leads you through uncertainty.
May He fill your heart and mind with trust in Him – and His ways.
Dear Lord, We humbly ask You to provide Mary with all that she needs for future days – physical, emotional, spiritual.
Remind her to not worry about tomorrow, because You are already there.
You take care of the birds, and Your eye will be on Mary.
Lord, guide her in the next phase of life and employment; be her Shelter in the storm.
Please go before Mary, and be her rear Guard, shining Your Light upon the way she should go.
Strengthen her faith, O Lord, and lead Mary to green pastures, still waters, and contentment in You, her Good Shepherd.
Remove any fear, and give her assurance of Your Presence and Your love.
Thank You, Gracious God, for all You will do to see Mary through all of her life.
Nothing is too hard for You, and we are grateful.
For Christ’s sake. Amen.
UPDATE:
My SIL had her pacemaker installed this morning. Her doctor said her heart and blood looks very good. She is moving out of ICU and possibly going home on Wednesday. Praising the Lord here for His great mercy, grace and healing.
My niece says her mom is quite chatty this afternoon. LOL
Thank you again for your prayers.
Thanks be to God!
That is TERRIFIC NEWS, Deb!!! So grateful to God for His Mercy on her behalf!
Praise God for that! Thanks for letting us know, Deb.
My heart is “full” today and am offering this prayer for us all …
May God bless you and keep you in days ahead.
>>
Gracious God, Thank You – for YOU.
We need You for everything in life – and death.
Lord, please strengthen the hearts of Your children in these tumultuous days.
Encourage us with Your Presence, Your Word, and Your Power.
Like the stars in the universe, help us to shine Your reflective Light in our dark world.
Lord, remind us to come boldly, but humbly, to Your throne with our requests – as You have commanded.
You are the King of all kings, our Maker, and the Creator of all things.
You are the Sovereign Ruler over this world, and we are thankful.
There is nothing You cannot do, and we ask You to grow our seeds of faith so our prayers will unleash Your power and Your will on earth – as it is in heaven.
And Lord, we ask for courage, too.
Remind us of David who took five stones to the battle instead of a sword.
Because his trust was in You. Make us that way, please.
Remind us, O God, of Elijah.
He was a man – just like us.
Yet his righteous prayers accomplished much – for Your Kingdom and Your glory.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12
Jesus, please save us, and accept this prayer …
Dear brothers & sisters, if you would, please pray for my mom tonight. She’s been ill all day & has not been good in recent weeks. God bless you all so very much.
Praying for your mother, and for you Joe…that our Lord’s love and mercy may be with you,and provide healing for mom.Asking in the name of Jesus, from whom all good things come.Amen.
Amen.
Thank you, Casco. The Lord bless you.
Joe, I’m sorry your mother is suffering, and will pray.
And, I give thanks to the Lord that she is blessed with you, a Godly son.
>>
Father in heaven, Thank You for making a way for us, because apart from You we can do nothing.
Thank You that we are Your children, and can come to Your throne to receive mercy and grace – only by the sacrifice of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
Dear Lord, Joe’s mother needs Your help with her sickness.
Even though physicians are sometimes puzzled and helpless, You are not.
Lord, we know that You can do all things and nothing is too hard for you.
Your mercies are new every morning and great is Your faithfulness.
Lord, You are moved with compassion when Your children are hurting.
We humbly ask You to give Joe’s mother comfort and relief.
Lord, Joe and his mother need You to be their strength in this time of testing.
They are bringing their weakness to You in exchange for Your all-sufficient grace.
Please give them endurance and perseverance as You lead them in days ahead.
Guard their hearts and minds against anything threatening their well-being.
Remind them not to be anxious or distressed about anything – because You are with them.
Lord, You know it’s hard to focus on our spiritual being when our bodies are ill.
Keep them mindful of their eternal destiny with You, as we are all just passing through this world.
Thank You, Lord, that their times are in Your hands – Your nail-scarred hands.
And You will see them through Your righteous and perfect will for their lives.
Gracious God, please cheer their hearts with Your peace – the Prince of Peace, Jesus.
Thank you in advance for what You will do for Joe and his dear mother.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
(Joe, please let us know about you both, if you desire. We are here. Hugs!)
Thank you so much for your kind words, Miss Della. This wonderful branch of the tree has gotten me through many rough times over the years. She was a bit better today but is still a long way from feeling well. She has a procedure scheduled for next month that will hopefully give us some idea of what this is, but we’re just praying she can make it through until then without any more major flare-ups. Hugs & love to you, my dear sister in the Lord.
Oh Joe. I am sorry to hear this. I continue to pray for you both. May God bless you both.
Ive been laying low…brother in law has been in very very rough shape and now my sister is having spells where she passes out. She has a heart monitor on now.
I continue to pray daily for all here that have become so dear to me and will continue to do so. This branch of prayer warriors brings comfort and I hope Joe you feel comfort knowing more and more prayers going up for your mom and for you as well.
Oh yes, I definitely feel the comfort from the prayers here & always have. Your poor sister….I pray for the Lord’s mercy to be upon her after everything she’s endured. I pray for your BIL as well. Thank you so much for your lovingkindness, Nana.
Thank you Joe Blow. They certainly need prayers. I hope your mom had a better day today. I continue my prayers for her as well as you. May God bless you Joe. You are a fine son and a blessing to your mom -especially during her time of trouble.
She did have a better day today, yes. Thank you so much, Nana, & everyone for all the prayers. The Lord bless you all.
Dear Lord, please give Joe’s Mom a speedy and full recovery from her illness, and please give Joe and his Mom peace and comfort in a way that only You, Lord, know how. I ask this prayer requests in Jesus name. Thank you and praise you Lord!
Thank you, Mr. M & God bless you so very much.
I’m grateful for the prayer warriors here. Thank you Joe for the prayers that you have offered in the past for my loved ones!
I am asking for some prayers for a friend of mine that has had chronic illness issues for decades. She recently had an open heart valve replacement. Unfortunately she is the only person I have ever known that has said the valve replacement has done nothing to help her. She is still chronically fatigued and never seems to feel well. We all had such high hopes that the heart surgery would bring some life back to her and she would feel better. We miss her being a part of our lives. Many thanks to the Treehouse Prayer Army.
Hello Leave, Everyone needs a friend like you … showing compassion and concern for one of yours.
Then, taking her burdens to the Lord.
Wish you lived close to me!
Over the years, I’ve realized – the hard way – that God does not heal everyone.
For reasons unknown to us, He allows suffering to continue in some people.
We have experienced this in my family, and it is difficult.
But I have come to understand that the Lord has a Holy purpose for all of our brokenness and one day He will make it right.
He is still teaching me to live on His promises — not on explanations.
I tell you this because – yes, we still pray for healing.
However, sometimes, God is more interested in our spiritual maturity, and suffering is one of the things He uses.

>>
Dear Lord, We bring Leave’s friend to You for Divine help.
You know all about her long-term health issues, and the recent heart procedure.
Father, You know how weary she is from battling these physical problems.
Please touch her body, her mind, and her spirit and give relief.
Lord, please bring her comfort and recovery to well-being.
Lord, sometimes it helps us to keep going when You graciously grant a reprieve- even if healing doesn’t come.
May You gladden her heart in special ways, and Your joy overflows from within.
Remind Leave’s friend that You are with her and sensitive to her every need.
Help her to know that You have engraved her name in the palm of Your hand, and have not forgotten her.
You will not let her be tempted beyond what she can bear.
O God, Give her confidence in Your holy, good plan for her life – not to hurt her, but to prosper.
Help her to grow in Your grace and knowledge, day by day.
May Your mercy and goodness follow her all the days of her life.
For Christ’s sake. Amen.
Amen
Amen.
Oh my Miss Della, the Lord does use you as an instrument of his peace and for that I am grateful. You always convey what needs to be said and heard at the right exact timing. Thank you so much for your wonderful, nurturing, and healing thoughts and prayers.
I wish I lived close to you too!
Praying for protection of our neighborhood from the harmful plans of outsiders (J.J. and those with him) and an awakening of more people to those plans.
Praying for those who make decisions and that includes W.W. and his staff, too. Prayer is needed before their decisions are to be made that will be irreversible.
Thanks be to God and Saint Xenia of Saint Petersburg for helping.
Continuing to pray and trying not to judge those who make decisions.
Thanking God for His mercies and blessings and especially help through the prayers of Saint Xenia of Saint Petersburg. (I did not believe that she would be helpful by her holy prayers, but I have learned otherwise.)
Continuing to pray and ask for God’s help, but also to accept God’s Will or whatever He allows to happen and that I can accept it humbly and with gratitude. His Ways are not ours.
Amen.
Praying for P.B. who has a lot of stress and duties.
May the Holy Trinity touch P.B.’s heart for the carrying out of God’s Divine Will without causing extra problems for others.
And may P.B. come to God with a desire to live a Christian life.
Praying for the same individual and praying that my heart will be softened while praying.
Glory be to Christ our God for the assistance received through the prayers of the Most Holy Mother of God and Saint Xenia of Saint Petersburg.
My new born niece, Helena, born in Sao Paulo – Brazil, last Saturday (05/11). Please pray for her and her family.
Thank you!
Val, Your baby niece is precious and her name is beautiful !
Hope all is okay with Helena and her mother!
>>
Dear Lord, Thank You for this new life – Your good and perfect gift from above.
Please protect Helena and her family from all harm, and provide all of their needs in the days ahead.
Lord, draw little Helena near to You every day of her life.
Give her a heart to know You and a zeal to love and trust You all of her days.
May Helena accept Your saving grace – through Jesus Christ her Lord – in her early years.
Help her to grow into a woman who fears You, and follows wherever You lead.
Fill her heart with joy and gladness because it is filled with You, dear Lord.
Helena is a tiny rosebud now, but help her grow into a lovely fragrant rose whose aroma is pleasing to others, and especially to You.
May Helena’s life bring You glory and honor, O God, as You help her advance Your kingdom of Righteousness.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
Val, I watched a church service last evening and the choir sang this touching lullaby for children.
I posted the words below, as another prayer for Helena.
We’re never too old for lullaby’s and I sang this today for my granddaughter, now 21 y/o.
(begin 10:55 to listen)
Lullaby Prayer, by Heather Sorenson
Bless these little children, Lord,
Tiny souls, so adored.
Little lambs to You belong.
They are weak, You are strong.
When they’re scared in dark of night,
Be their Light, hold them tight.
Let them feel Your Presence near,
Give them peace, help them sleep.
And if their path goes through the cold,
In Your arms, please enfold.
Show them that Your love can melt,
Frozen hearts, frozen souls.
Help them grow when there’s no rain,
Free their hearts where they’ve been chained.
And when life can’t be explained,
Others go, You remain.
Give them faith for mountains tall.
Guide them when their faith is small.
Teach them how to follow You,
In their youth, walk in Truth.
Help them to accept Your love,
Give them wings to rise above.
The noise that drowns out Your commands,
Hold their hand, help them stand.
So bless these little children, Lord.
Tiny souls, so adored.
Little lambs to You belong,
They are weak, but You are strong.
✝️🥰
Amen!! How beautiful! Thank you so much, Miss Della!

monday, just minutes before a bad bad heavy rain storm.. which is why i was bringing my 3 boxers up the brick steps of my back porch.. there’s like 8 steps, my porch is elevated.. it happened so fast i don’t know what happened..but they must have been all around my feet, and i tripped just one step up or so ………… my first thought was i was going to land face first into the steps and break my teeth..
because i still had the leashes in one hand and 1 boxer on a leash with my right hand, so i couldn’t catch my fall..
my left hand/wrist got shoved up and back into the part of the step that you dont step on ..
and i broke my arm in like half right there at my wrist …
had to go to er in a torrential downpour.
i even have to have surgery in the morning..
i. don’t. want. to. 💔
9:45 am
i will feel comforted knowing i have prayer warriors lifting me up …..
so i ask you all for that …..

Oh Annie, I’m so sorry about this!!
Broken bones are extremely painful, I know…
Isn’t it true – when it rains, it pours?
I will pray, and think of you tomorrow – and in days ahead.
Wish I lived nearby to help in some way!
>>
Dear Lord, Thank You for making a Way for us to come to You – through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We are here – by faith – and ask for Your mercy and grace to cover Annie.
.
Lord, You know all about her injury, the upcoming surgery, and all the other details of her life.
You are all-powerful, all-knowing, and the God Who heals.
Please guide her medical team and give them whatever they need to assist Annie.
Also, may they be compassionate.
May her surgery and recovery go smoothly, with a rapid recovery.
Gracious God, grant Annie a heightened awareness of Your Presence.
Give Annie Your Peace that her name is engraved in the palm of Your hands, and You love her.
Lord, Your Word says You will cause our adversity to work for our good – for those who love You.
Please comfort Annie with that assurance, and strengthen her faith in You in days to come.
Lord, please remove any fear or anxiety from Annie about this situation.
May she be reminded that You are with her, even to the end of the age.
O Lord, May You be glorified through all of this, and Christ be lifted up.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.

thank you..
your prayers absolutely helped me to focus on that fact .. that He was with me every step of the way . we have a brand new hospital here that has been opened since september, it is really nice.. i liked everyone that i had to interact with, starting with admissions..pre op nurse asked me twice to remind her of the name of this website …… ♥️
(don’t ask me how that conversation started,
because i don’t remember, lol !)
i have a bone dr. from Andrews Institute…
athletes from all over the country are sent there.. i go for first check up in 2 weeks ..
this one hand stuff is soooooo limiting 😔
i am so grateful for yours and everyone else’s prayers .. ♥️
I am so glad to hear that, Annie. God bless you so very much.
Hey Dreamer if the high dollar doctor doesn’t do the job right, I’ve been taking online medical courses and watching other professionals at work on youtube…lol… I think I got this.
Praying all goes well and you have a speedy recovery.
You are the funniest ever, Bulldog.
lol, good to see you bulldog ..
and thank you for the well wishes ……
Amen. So happy to hear it all went so well Annie. May you have a speedy recovery!
Annie, good news to hear!
Thankful you’re on the other side, and can now focus on healing.
Please be patient with recovery, as it’s human nature to want it over – yesterday!
Sometimes it’s more stressful before the procedure with time to “think” about it, at least for me!
I had eye surgery two weeks ago, my first time, and the thoughts of them cutting on my eyeball unnerved me.
But, like you, I knew the Lord was with me and the surgeon, and was in His hands. No safer place to be!
I’ll continue to keep you in my prayers, Annie!
Take care …
🥰🙏🏻
miss.della! ♥️

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me, a sinner.
Amen, amen … my first prayer this morn.
Followed by, “Thank You, dear Lord.”
Prayers for your recent posts, too, Sepp.

Glory be to God for the good and glory be to God for the bad.
Help us, O Christ our God, to find spiritual healing and repentance, one soul after another.

Dear Prayer Warriors, please pray for my aunt who is in awful pain right now with sciatica. Currently trying to decide whether to take a trip to the ER. Hopeful it won’t be necessary. God bless you all.
Prayers going up Joe Blow. Sciatica is a terrible pain. Will pray her pain eases whether she goes to Er or not. I pray your mother is doing better. You are a rock. Stay strong . Blessings go with you.
Amen, Nana.
Thank you, Nana. She decided to wait until this morning to see if there was any improvement but it’s too much for her, so off we go to the hospital. Mom has a procedure coming up in a few weeks that will hopefully tell us more about her situation. Blessings to you & your dear sister.
Thank you Joe. Times are still very tough for my sister and BIL so I thank you for your blessings for them.
i hope today brought some answers for your aunt as well as relief from her pain. I pray your mom will improve on her own with Gods help so the procedure you speak of won’t be necessary. If it is, I hope clear answers will be given and a helpful treatment plan will be offered. You do have your hands full and obviously God has full confidence in you to navigate all of this.
Peace be with you Joe.
Oh Joe! Bless you and your full hands …
Dear Lord, Thank You for Who You are, and providing all of our needs.
You love us with an everlasting love, and tell us to call upon You in our time of trouble.
Please help Joe’s aunt in her suffering. Touch her body and relieve her pain.
Restore her, Lord, to contentment and well-being.
O Lord, please give Joe good judgment and insight about the situation to help his aunt.
Fill him with Your wisdom and guidance as he ministers to her – and his mother.
Strengthen Joe, Lord – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually – as he becomes Your hands and feet to his loved ones.
Lord, also, please continue to help Joe’s mother.
You know everything about her circumstance and all things are possible with You.
God, please encourage this family with whatever is needed.
Make their faith grow stronger, and their hope burn brighter in days ahead, because they know You are with them.
Give them blessed assurance that You are their Good Father in heaven Who is in control of every detail.
Your way is perfect, O Lord, and You shield all who take refuge in You.
Thank You, Gracious God, for Your tender mercies towards us all.
May You be glorified through all of their troubles, Lord, because You alone are worthy to be praised.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Joe, my hubs has suffered from sciatic pain for last five years, and it can be debilitating.
An orthopedic doc diagnosed the problem with an MRI.
Then, he gave him cortisone injections twice/year, which helped some, but pain progressed.
So, his doc sent him to a specialist for a pain injection.
This helped about three months, and pain is returning, but not severe – just nagging.
Hubs discovered that continual use of heating pad (low heat) while sitting, helps tremendously. Lots of heat…
Surgery is not being considered … yet.
Praying your aunt will find a conservative help that works for her pain!
🙏🏻
Thank you, Miss Della. She has dealt with this for some time & is used to using lots of low heat. This particular bout is as severe as it’s ever been though. She’s a bit limited in what she can have in the way of injections due to allergy (e.g. cortisone). Thank you for praying for my mom also. God bless you so very much.
Praying for your aunt’s pain to subside and provide her with relief so she can rest comfortably.Blessings for you and your mom as well,Joe.May the blanket of the Lord’s grace and mercy cover you all.Amen.
Amen, Casco.
Thank you, Casco. God bless you.
Praying for you and your family, Joe Blow. I hope the ER visit was able to bring your Aunt some relief.
Please pray for my Mother, Maybritt. In ICU after long battle with too many ailments to list. Will be driving 3 hours south today to say goodbye. I pray her suffering will end and she’ll know peace. Thanks to any and all who may read this and even briefly consider my plea. On an unrelated note I have no water as of yesterday. Currently fighting with USPS (my employer) and my union for 200 hours of back pay. Iwas told 30 years ago as I sobered up, that God will only give you what he thinks you can handle. I’m grateful God has such confidence in me. He truly has blessed me in so many ways. I pray that I can remember my blessings.
I’m very sorry to learn of your difficulties.I pray that Maybritt’s passing be quiet and tranquil,as she takes her last journey to be with the Amighty.May our Lord continue to bless you and give you resolutions to all your issues.Asking this in His Most Holy Name,Jesus Christ.Amen.
Amen, Casco.
Amen
Bless you Casco
Dave, We only lose our mothers once, and I know this is a difficult time for you. Have been there.
I will pray for you and your mother.
May the Lord God give you and Maybritt His peace, comfort, and tranquillity that only He can provide.
May our triune God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – cover you both with His mercy and saving grace.
May God’s holy heaven be your eternal resting place, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who made it possible for us all.
May our Gracious God send you His Divine help in the days ahead for all of your needs.
He is our Provider, Sustainer, and Deliverer.
He will make a way when there seems to be no way.
May the Lord increase your trust in Him – no matter what, because He loves you and will take care of you.
He Who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
God is faithful to us – even when we are not.
May the Lord touch you and hold you close in days ahead, Dave.
May the Good Shepherd lead you to green pastures and still waters.
And His fountain of goodness will follow you all the days of your life.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
🙏🏻✝️
God bless you miss Della
Dave, I’m so sorry for all this that you’re having to go through right now. I pray for your mom to pass as peacefully as possible & for God to give you His supernatural peace. I pray that the Lord would have water restored to you & that you would receive every bit of your back pay. May the Lord bless you even doubly so.
Thanks Joe, and God bless
Amen
I’ve been thinking of you today Dave and your sad trip to say goodbye to your mom. I pray your mom is not now or didn’t suffer and you are at peace.
When my stepmom was failing my nephew called her to say goodbye. What he said has stuck with me and it meant so much to her. He said Grandma, I will see you on the other side. I love you.
may God bless you and your mom. May your other travails resolve too.
Praying.
Dave,
So sorry to hear of this very difficult time for you. May God bless you and your family as your Mom journeys her way into her very perfect Eternity with our Lord, Jesus Christ. May He bring you and yours comfort through this temporary separation from her. May your memories of her overflow with joy and laughter, to help push out the sorrow and feelings of temporary loss. I say temporary, temporary… because we are all just passing through in this life and we have a glorious and perfect Destination ahead for all of us who place our faith in the Lord.
As for your work, I pray for your success. Congratulations on your sobriety and may your mind be clear, your heart be light, and your joy be fierce and overflowing. Blessings to you. You don’t walk alone here.
Amen, Woo.
(temporary = only a little while, in light of eternity!)
Asking for prayer for our Priests and Religious Leaders.
I want to take a minute and give thanks to Sundance and ad rem for this soft loving treehouse branch we light upon from time to time. What a gift!! It is such a source of comfort and light for us that struggle with life’s pains. Thank you SD and ad rem and all who lift up prayers for each other. This branch is a warm blanket in a cold world. Blessings to all.
Such a sweet post … Amen, Nana.
Sometimes I wonder (TBH) if this branch is valued by others, and then the Lord reminds me of its worth …
Be blessed.
🥰
I value it. I don’t always post, but I always pray for those requesting prayer. I find this group of prayer folks far better than the prayer group I attend in person. You would think it would be the other way around, but for me that isn’t the case.
🥰
Good evening, Treeper friends, and fellow prayerful warriors.
Someone here, I believe on the Presidential Thread, pointed us to Matthew 23 in the dealing with corrupt leaders. So good! What an amazingly rich lesson that chapter provides.
As seems usual now, we have “stuff” we are dealing with. Corruption. Obfuscation. Instilling distrust and seeking to split allegiance. I will not have it. I will use all the tools in God’s Word and through prayerfulness and The Lord’s guidance to defend and assert.
My prayer I humbly submit to you all this evening to share in with me – for your own trials that may be at hand. For those trials spoken and unspoken, I lift you up in prayer to our Lord and Savior that He May richly bless each of you in this short transition until we are finally Home with Him in Heaven. Come, Lord Jesus, come!
Father God,
I don’t want to be a shameful corrupt leader. I want to be clean, pure, and a protector endowed by you to be an honorable steward of all You offer me. Grant me grace and mercy, Father, and the war weapons You would have me use to fight. The battle is Yours through The Holy Spirit. Use me to help others and bring You Glory and Honor, forever. Let it not be ego, but through humble service. Give me enough shelter, food, and good health to sleep soundly at night, in perfect peace, knowing that all is right between us and that the works of my hands, feet, and mind is pleasing to You. For it is in unity with You that I am made whole and completely content. This I pray, in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Amen
Amen, Woo…
“Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”
Ephesians 6:10

Lord, please give us Your strength, courage and complete trust in You.
You are the Living God and You go before us and are our rear guard.
Lead us on, O King Eternal,
For Christ’s sake…
Amen
Amen!
Praying for God’s guidance on several sensitive matters and situations simultaneously.
Glory be to God for the good and glory be to God for the bad. He knows what He is doing.
May our Heavenly Father continue to Bless You Seth. All Glory To our Father!
Sorry Sepp. it helps when I wear my reading glasses when I type.
Sepp, It’s hard to fight several fires at once – it often overwhelms us.
But God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
He daily bears your burdens, will help you focus on what He wants, and will carry you through.
God is our Refuge and Strength, an ever-present Help in trouble.
Be still, and know that I am God (He says.)
“But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses.
But we trust in the Name of the Lord our God.
May the Lord God be strong on your behalf, Sepp, and provide all that you need in every circumstance.
May He give you endurance and courage in the dark times, as the Light of the world shines on your way.
May He watch over your coming in, and your going out, and over your life.
May the Lord give you wisdom, Godly judgment, and discernment concerning His will in these matters.
As for God, His way is perfect.
May His Peace, His Presence, and His Power comfort you in the days ahead.
May our Gracious God draw you close every hour … and be your Shelter from the storm.
May His mercy and grace follow you all the days of your life.
For Christ’s sake. Amen.
Sepp, I will remember you in my prayers.
🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻
Well said Della and same here Sepp. You are in my prayers. I don’t comment often but I have missed reading your comments on the open thread. Good to see you back.
Thank you for expressing this. Glory be to God. Thanks be to God.
Thanks be to God! Glory be to God! Keeping the encouraging words close now.
Praying for you and the situations, Sepp.
Sometimes if we can be still, especially when seemingly overwhelmed… we are blessed by God resolving things before our very eyes… with having to do very little.
Just TRUST in Him. God Is Good and Merciful.
Blessings on you and may God give you clarity.
Your sis, JWoo
This is much appreciated and taken to heart. Glory be to God. Thanks be to God.
Glory be to God.
Thanks be to God.
May God grant us the gift of repentance and joy in loving Him and our neighbor.
Sepp, I am hoping to put together a three part series on the Orthodox faith, Catholicism, and Protestant beliefs. I have someone to help me with this on the Protestant side, but desperately need some help from an Orthodox Christian. Would you be interested in helping with this? I’ve tried for a couple of months to find someone to help, and had no luck.
It was my goal from the first to have the Orthodox faith presented by a knowledgeable person who loves and practices their faith. The more I have tried to read and understand enough to do it justice on my own, the more sure I am that I really need some help. I’ve done a lot of reading over the last months, and the deeper I get, the less able I am to be able to write this post well.
If you might be interest in helping, let me know here, and you can email me at our address above, and I’ll give you details. Thank you, and glad you’re back.
Christ is Risen! Alithos Anesti!
Praying about this for now. Appreciating the invitation and the reasons. Might be a little while to get ready, though.
Thank you! I’ll be out of town myself June 1-8th. If you email during that time the other admins will flag it for me. No rush, I’ve been working on it for quite some time.
Yes, Sepp … thanks be to God for these precious gifts.
Because unless the Lord draws us to humble ourselves, confess our sin, and repent, we cannot receive forgiveness.
And, without the Holy Spirit and our submission to Him, we cannot love our neighbor. It’s too hard!
All praise be to the Father,
All praise be to the Son,
All praise be to the Holy Spirit.
🙏🏻
Glory be to God and thanks be to God for the prayers and encouragement and support from folks.
Praying for my country and all those within.
❤️🤍💙🙏
I just had to let you all know that prayer works.
As you may recall I’m on my 4th bout of breast cancer. This time it has metastasized into a lot of lymph nodes but not to any organs 😀. So it has been a year since I was diagnosed. After 30 rounds of radiation and taking estrogen blockers for 6 months I had my 5th ct/pet scan last Wednesday. Yippee. Every lymph node has either gotten smaller, disappeared or, the biggest one, is stable. Praise the Lord. This is the most stupendous news.
I prayed and prayed for healing as according to God’s will and boy howdy He came through. Thank you all for your prayers ❤️.
I now feel I can get on living. I’m being blessed with an outstanding garden this year and now I feel I’ll get to have a few more.
Absolutely fabulous 🙏❤️👏🏻👍🎉
Bc, I’ve recently been wondering about you – and here you are with the best news!
I’m praising the Lord God with you!
And, that’s the key – His will, not ours.
Sometimes the Lord is ready for us to join Him in heaven; or He has more work for us on earth – bringing Him glory and witnessing to others.
I’m rejoicing with you, Bc, and delighted that you came by to share this!
It encourages us all in lifting one another up!
May our Gracious God continue to bless you with health.
I hope your garden will be a fruitful one, too.
Please take care, and be blessed in days ahead.
Thanks be to God for His merciful healing, and all good gifts to Bc.
We are grateful, dear Lord.
In the name of Jesus, our Savior.
🥰🙏🏻🥰
Bc, I’ve always been touched by the story of Jesus healing ten lepers. (Luke 17)
They all went on their way, but one returned to thank Him.
You reminded me of this when you came back …
It’s always a good thing to give thanks to God!
Blessings.
>>
Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?”
Luke 17:17-18
Oh how I love you Miss Della B..❤️
You are such a bright light in the darkness.
I feel my strength returning and I even walked down to my friend and neighbor’s house, 3 acres away. She has cancer also,so I wanted to check on her. Usually we just talk on the phone. But I needed to see her today. The visit was lovely.
when I got home I actually put in 40 feet of edging in preparation to my hub’s spreading 70 bags of mulch tomorrow in our garden pathways. We are so blessed to be able to do this.
right now I feel like I could write a book about the last few years we’ve been here in NE Tennessee. God certainly brought us here. It’s a long story but everyday I’m filled with amazing peace and joy. I don’t know how to express how I feel after a long and tumultuous journey in my life. I just know that faith in God will yield many gifts.
You’re so sweet, Bc, and I love you, too.
Although we can “know” each other via words, one day we’ll “see” each other – as sisters in Christ!
It cheers my heart to hear some of the ways God is blessing you.
And, it’s so encouraging and comforting to look back at the ways His hand has guided.
Those are beautiful gifts God has given, Bc – Peace and Joy.
Many, many people do not have them – and it’s sad.
When we learn that the Lord is Good – we want others to know Him, too!
We can tell them, but it’s something one has to go through…
I completely understand a long, rocky path through life. Been there.
And my heart is at rest – in Christ – and full of gratitude. It’s all been good.
I’m ready to meet Him whenever He calls.💕
I prayed for your dear neighbor today, and may the Lord be her Helper, too.
So glad she has you, Bc!
Years ago, my grandmother tried to support me through a dark season, and said whenever she was feeling low, she’d go help someone else.
There’s a lot of truth in that!
Let’s fight on, Bc. I know you’re a soldier in the battle of life!
🥰🙏🏻
💪🏼fight is my middle name 😘
You should absolutely… write… that… book.
I think I’ll title it “Grace,Survival,and Faith “
Yes… please. What a gift that would be.
Praise God, Eve! I’m so grateful for that news. The Lord bless you & keep you.
❤️🙏 you are the best Joe
Oh Eve!!!! You’ve just filled my heart with JOY!!!! I’m so happy to “see” you and to hear this splendid, splendid news.
My dear woman, you live with such a heart filled with love for The Lord – it just oozes. You are such an inspiration to myself and others.
I love you, friend, and I rejoice with you in honoring God with high praise! Hallelujah!!!!
It took me a long time to reconcile the abuse as a little girl and teenager by my dad to the place where I have forgiven him and to know that I can use that and the cancer stuff to help others.
It was really difficult for me to overcome the feeling that God hated me for allowing that and many other heartbreaks to happen BUT now I use that to try to be a light for others. 😘
Eve,
I’m sorry to hear of the abuse by your father and the scars from that, my dear sweet friend. I know, first hand, the question and anxiety one carries when we feel the Lord may have forsaken us because we can’t understand what made us “worthy” to carry such a heavy cross.
Before Savannah was born, I endeavored to write children’s books to help them through such. People don’t know how to reach, counsel, and care for children when the unthinkable and horrible happens to them. It remains unspoken and children internalize the fault. I never published… didn’t really know how to.
Short little books to work through things with a kid… called “The Spice of Life Collection: The Bitters and The Sweets”
It spoke of all the evil… and the good… and how satan never has the final say in things.. and it speaks to God’s Mercy and Perfect and Abiding love for us.
Did you see “The Chosen” season 3 episode 2 when Little John confronts Jesus about why he hasn’t been healed and Jesus chooses not to heal him….yet? I LOST IT… ABSOLUTELY LOST IT… but God Is Right. Sometimes His Message needs to be heard through the damaged and hurt. People who are real and have walked such pain and shame carry a credibility to others who can’t be reached by those who’ve never known such pain.
Eve, you are just a JOY and I can feel God’s Light in you from over here in Central Indiana. I’m so honored to “know” you.
You keep using these experiences to steward and to help. The greatest helps are often so very simple and you may be the only Word of God that a person may experience this day.
Enjoy your freedom in this moment and live large, girlfriend.
Love all your posts JWoo
hope you and Savannah have a blessed day
Oh my….your wonderful news has made my day Eve! You have traveled such a long…long…road on this journey, but you haven’t traveled it alone. Much love to the most courageous woman I know! ❤️
Oh my Ad rem, I don’t even know how to respond to your courageous statement.
There are so many people that are far more brave than me. I have many regrets about stupid mistakes I’ve made in my life. I think most people do if they are honest with themselves.
To tell the truth I’m not quite sure what is going on with me right now. This last year I’ve been focusing on myself and trying to navigate this new cancer thing.
But now I’m thinking God maybe has something else for me to do. ❤️
Can’t wait to find out.
was just sitting out on the deck with hubs and talking about your post , he thinks I’m courageous too. 😀
as we were talking tons of lighting bugs showed up. So beautiful.
God is good. Pray and have faith. ❤️
Matthew 21-22
and all things, whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive (KJB)
Lord hear the prayers of your faithful, here today and every day.
Prayers up for all those affected by the very recent tornadoes…..
Denton was my home for a while….50 years ago….I just heard that more bad weather is expected across the country, tonight.
https://dentonrc.com/news/denton_county/at-least-7-dead-after-tornado-warnings-in-cooke-denton-counties-and-other-parts-of/article_0b9d3fda-b02f-5bfe-9ce4-c23c5bafe312.html
Agenda Free TV—From Yesterday— has a link on their webside of the reruns of yesterday’s real time tornado warnings, radar pix etc and scanner first responder type communications…
Again, prayers up for these people…most especially if we have any Treepers out there…
I got hooked on Ryan hall y’all on you tube. Fascinating and informative. I don’t live in the Midwest anymore and I don’t miss the tornadoes and bad storms at all. We didn’t have the info these young ppl have now. They and the technology are quite amazing. God bless them for the work they do! It’s a rough night for many.
Amen, Sis
Health update:
I am now entering my 6th month since I was given a diagnosis on Dec 21st of stage 4 stomach cancer, with a 2- 6 months life expectancy.
Still on home Hospice.
My diet is now 99% liquid, consisting of protein drinks, pudding, and some soups.
Slim my entire life, I had reached my highest weight ever of 164 lbs (5′ 10) in June 2023. I am now down to 121.
On oxycodone for pain management.
Also using Dixie Elixir which is a THC infused drink that helps suppress painful hiccups that comes with the cancer. Plus I get a nice buzz.
How much longer I have to live is in God’s hands, like it’s been since I came into the world 71 years ago.
I am ready to enter the Kingdom of the Almighty.
Michael
Praying that you are comfortable Citizen817.Thankful that you are at peace and awaiting holy angels to carry you to the Almighty’s eternal kingdom .May blessings without number be upon you as you look forward to His calling you home.Amen.
Amen, Casco. You pray beautifully. 🙏
God morning, Michael, our good and faithful friend!
I think of you and pray for you often. I cannot claim to imagine what you are going through. I pray the doctors are managing your pain well.
I hope that you are seeing God in all the small things and that you are able to share your wisdom of His Presence with others who are helping you. God Is everywhere. In the flowers, the birds, the trees, the clouds, and every creature of the earth. Even in your suffering, He Is with you every moment.
He must have had some very special plans for you to keep you here with us. There was someone who needed you desperately and needed to hear your words to them.
I pray for you, your family, and all in your sphere of influence for your blessing. It is an honor to be with someone during their transition into Eternity.
I think of the words I would say of wisdom or love or encouragement to my daughter. I try to say them now… a lot… having lost my Mom when I was nine.
For you to be here with us shows me how much you love others on this Tree. I feel the same. Like they’re my adopted family… way better than the biological one I had in my real life.
You give us such blessings, Michael, sharing of yourself. However these days unfold, You are closer to seeing God’s Face and, man, what I wouldn’t give to have thar honor every day to stand in His Presence, surrounded by His Beauty and Praise and Worship every day.
Did you know that we will have jobs in Heaven? Not crappy ones. We will have jobs that we were intended for… that we will have joy doing… in the fullness of our perfect selves and bodies… isn’t that AWESOME???!! Revelations 22:3
I look forward to meeting you, friend. We will all be in neighborhood together and what righteous gatherings we will have!
I’m excited for you. I am. ❤️
We weep because we are selfish on this Earth… upset at the realization that our loves are on loan.
We cling tightly to things and people who never were our own.
We bend, we strive, we gain, we thrive…
….until God calls us Home.
Our family verse is Psalm 139 since Savannah was in my womb. It brings me such comfort. I pray it would bring you comfort too.
Love you, bud. ✝️ 🕊 🙏
Hello Michael, You’re so thoughtful to come by with this update, and I prayed for you this morning.
May the Lord God give you everything you need – in life, in death, and in eternity.
Yesterday, I heard this hymn and the words speak to many nowadays.
May they minister to you, too, Michael.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
>>
Precious Lord, take my hand,
Lead me on, help me stand;
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn,
Through the storm, through the night;
Lead me on to the light,
Take my hand, precious Lord,
Lead me home.
When my way grows drear,
Precious Lord linger near;
When my life is almost gone,
Hear my cry, hear my call;
Hold my hand lest I fall,
Take my hand, precious Lord,
Lead me home.
When the darkness appears,
And the night draws near;
And the day is past and gone,
At the river I stand;
Guide my feet, hold my hand,
Take my hand, precious Lord,
Lead me home.
🙏🏻✝️💕
I’m so grateful to hear from you, Michael. I pray that the Lord Jesus will keep you in His all-sufficient hands.
Thank you so much for giving us this little update on your current state Michael. I think of you often…especially in the evening after posting the Presidential Open….when I used to look forward to all your Twitter updates.
You have always been the nicest of constants here in the Treehouse. I will continue to pray for your peace and comfort. You, my friend, are loved….
Asking for prayers for my brother Ron who is currently in emergency surgery. Thank you Treepers!
Oh my, Nana. I pray for Ron, that whatever the situation God would effect a positive outcome, guiding the surgeons’ hands & restoring him to complete health & healing. The Lord bless you.
Thank you Joe. He came through surgery soon after you posted. GB removal as stone was blocking bile duct. Pre op tests also show a mass in his bladder. They took a biopsy while he was in surgery. Results will take a week according to my sister in law. They live in WI. I am out west. I thank you for your prayers.
i continue to pray for you, your mom and aunt.
on a wonderful note…my brother in law is very slowly getting better!!! He is able to keep small meals down and regaining his strength! Praise God! My sister’s cardiology work up showed her heart is healthy! No explanation for her passing out but it hasn’t happened again in a month. Thank you for your prayers Joe and treepers.
May God continue to bless this treehouse.
Hello Nana, Good news that your brother’s successful surgery; also, that the mass was found.
It sounds terrible that this happened, but God is merciful. Now, it can be addressed.
I will pray for him and all involved, Nana.
And more good news about your sister and BIL … thanks be to God!
He’s full of mercy and compassion – and in control of our lives.
Our times are in His hands – there’s no better place to be!
Blessings on you, Nana…
Good morning Miss Della. Thank you for your prayers and rejoicing for my BIL and sister as well.
blessings on you as well. God will see us through!
🥰
🥰
I’m glad to hear the surgery was successful & will pray for a good biopsy result. That’s really good to hear about your sister & BIL as well. Thank you for your continued prayers for me & my family.
Please pray for the soul of my recently deceased daughter, Olivia Clementine, as well as for me, her mother and her sister. The good Lord called her home last Thursday, but of course this was and is still beyond heartbreaking for those left behind.
Luke, I offer my deepest sympathy for your devastating loss of Olivia Clementine. And what a beautiful name she has …
May the Lord God comfort you, and Olivia’s mother and sister as only He can do.
May He bind up your wounds and heal your broken hearts.
May God strengthen you every passing day, and give you bright hope for tomorrow.
May the Lord’s Presence be known to you all in special ways as He leads you through this dark season of grief.
May God draw you near to Himself and hold you close.
The Lord puts our tears in His bottle.
And, He knows each one and what they mean.
I’m very sorry, Luke.
And I know God will be merciful and faithful to you all in days ahead.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
🙏🏻✝️💔
Dear Luke,
Offering up prayers as requested both now and in the days ahead.
Offering sincere condolences however simply expressed.
I am praying for you Luke and your family. May Olivia be with our Father in heaven and perfect peace. God be with you. Know you will see your daughter on the other side when God calls you home. Blessings. Cling to your faith Luke.
May God strengthen & comfort you & your family, Luke. The Lord keep you & bless you.
Not life or death but I know there are strong believers and prayers here. My daughter, early 30s, lives on her own in Chicago, was just terminated from her job, company lost a major account, her lease is up and she doesn’t know if private landlord is renewing or selling the place. She is worried and a bit deflated. Great person and daughter, I am praying things break her way soon. Thanks.
I will pray for your daughter. May God guide her steps and show her where He wants her to be. These are tough and strange times indeed!
Thank you.
I hesitate to say this Puzzled cuz it sounds a bit nuts. Today I’ve prayed two times for your daughter and both times I keep “hearing” ….check your faith. I don’t know if that means anything to you but felt strongly that I was supposed to say this. 🤷♀️
Thanks for passing this message on.
You are a great parent… Praying for your daughter …God Bless You.
Thank you for your prayers.
Hello Puzzled, Mothers and grandmothers will always carry a burden for their children.
It never gets easier, no matter how old the child!
And, your daughter has some big decisions in her future.
I pray the Lord will direct her path and make a way …
>>
Dear Lord, We lift up our eyes to the hills; our help comes from You, O God – Maker of heaven and earth.
We humbly ask Your Divine intervention for Puzzled’s daughter.
You know all about her job, living situation, and every detail of her life.
And You are Jehovah-Jireh – the Lord will provide.
Please be her Refuge through all uncertainty.
Be her strength in these times of testing, and grant her Your Peace.
Guard her heart, mind, and physical well-being. Provide for her every need.
Protect her, dear Lord, from all evil and dangers – seen and unseen.
Lord, make a way for her where there seems to be no way.
Lead her to the best job and living arrangement in Your perfect time.
Remove any fear or anxiety from Puzzled’s daughter, and give her a heart that trusts You completely.
Remind her every day of Your Presence and that her times are in Your Mighty hands.
Lord, Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
We thank You for that – and ask You to shine Your Light upon her daughter’s path in the days ahead.
May You be honored through all of these circumstances, dear Lord.
Cause Puzzled’s daughter “see” You at work in her life; And, one day she’ll be able to say: Surely, the Lord was with me!
Lord, we know that You can do abundantly more than all we ask or think.
Surprise her daughter with Your goodness and tender mercies in all of her needs.
Help her faith in You to grow; May her love for You increase day by day, as she realizes You are her Good and Faithful Father in heaven Who loves her.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
🙏🏻✝️
Amen.

I will ask the Lord to help.
>>
Lord God, We offer praise and thanks for Your steadfast love.
We are grateful for giving us Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, our Blessed Hope.
Lord, protect Sepp and his neighbors from evil and dangers.
You know all things and everyone’s heart.
You understand the motives of these outsiders and their plans.
Please deliver Sepp and the neighborhood from all harm.
Restrain any foes and their wrong intentions. Please send them away.
God, You alone are Sovereign and rule over all.
May You give this community only what is good, pure and right for each person.
You know what each one needs, and may Your Righteous will be done.
Please act on behalf of these people, dear Lord.
Give them confidence and trust in You and Your perfect plan.
Grant Sepp and his neighbors wisdom, insight and a clear mind.
Please keep them from being deceived or outwitted in any way.
Lord, You are in control and always have the “last” Word.
Assure them that You know what is ahead, and Your Presence will be with them.
Lord, You are the One Who feeds the sparrow, and You are the One Who stands by these people.
We thank You, Heavenly Father, for all of this – and hearing this prayer.
May You be honored through this community’s unsettling difficulties in the days ahead.
In the name of Christ, Amen.
✝️
AMEN !
AMEN and AMEN !
I beg God for His Divine aid.
Let’s move off the number of comments! Blessings Sepp. May the Lord keep you and your neighbors safe. Head on a swivel as they say.
Hello Sepp, I prayed for you today and want to offer encouragement!
In some quiet time this morn, four words leaped off the paper into my heart … for a worrying concern of mine.
”Give it to God.”
Then, He will give us His Best …
May the Lord Jesus help us walk by faith – not by sight!
He sees the path ahead – and we (I) must trust His plan … It’s way better than ours!
Prayers that the Lord will help us “give Him our IT” – and LEAVE IT there!
🥰🙏🏻
Thanks be to God and glory be to God for the help that He has provided today for every situation.
I am so grateful for the folks here and those in person who pray for us and encourage us.
“The Lord is my shepherd, and I shall not want.”
Amen, amen.
Giving thanks to God for his mercies and blessings and aid during this time. And at all times!
Joining you, Sepp!
We must give thanks in ALL circumstances, for this is God’s will for us.
And He will honor that obedience.
Maybe not today, but someday…
This morning I asked the Lord to help me be a “Grace Hunter” and alert to our many blessings.
I was reminded of Adam and Eve having an abundance in the Garden, yet they focused on that ONE thing they didn’t have.
I can be that way, too.
And then miss all the good the Lord IS giving.
May it not be!
>>
Thank you, Lord God, for helping Sepp.
Please continue to be strong on his behalf and show him favor.
His heart is fully committed to You, dear Lord!
For Christ’s sake.
(LORD)
“You are good, and You do what is good.”
Psalm 119:68
Amen, Sepp. Praying The Lord’s Mercy and Protection over you, your neighbors, and community. His Will be done.
Praying for DJT and all those who support him to remain strong and feel the protection of Our Savior. 🙏🇺🇲
Amen.
Strong prayers without ceasing, dear Lorrie. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name.
Look at what GOD Has Done for Trump so far? Is He going to quit now? Nope. I don’t think so!
We are asking The Lord Jesus Christ to grant us wisdom and discernment.
Our dear 13.5 year Cavalier King Charles Spanial, Dee Dee was attacked early this morning ( 1 am ish) by a coyote and is in the hospital now. She has a failing heart – normal for Cavaliers so any surgery would likely kill her.
Broken bones in her larynx plus lung contusions and wounds from the attack.
I think the best thing to do is to get her comfortable enough to get her home and then in home euthanasia at some point.
My wife is so attached to this precious doggy. Dee Dee is a rescue dog and we’ve had her for about 7 years.
Keeping you and your precious furry family member in my thoughts.
My parents lost both of their dogs due to old age several years ago. My mother also lost her brother and her mother around the same time. It was a very rough time. I would often hint at getting another dog and for the longest time she absolutely refused. By the grace of God my father had the wisdom (and stubbornness) to eventually convince her that HE wanted another dog (i mean, he did =P) and she eventually caved.
I have family members who work in the veterinary field, so I would send her and my dad pictures of puppies up for adoption on a regular basis. Well they finally saw one that they liked and ended up adopting it. Though my mother was reluctant at first, she has become absolutely attached at the hip to this dog (and the dog to her). In her time of grief, she chose the name “Joy” for the precious pup, and what a blessing it has been to see the joy that this dog has brought to her.
Praying for the best possible outcome for your dog and your family and I sincerely hope that should it be Dee Dee’s time, that she pass in peace, surrounded by loved ones and that you find peace and understanding in those turbulent days. And more than that, I pray that you find your own “Joy” (be it furry or otherwise) in the trying times ahead.
God bless you and your family.
Logboom, I’m sorry to hear about this tragic situation … it’s heartbreaking.
My daughter has two of these endearing Spaniels, and I know they’re precious.
I thought of a Treeper who posted on the OpenThread (Wed, May 29) about losing his pup.
There were quite a few helpful commenters to him, and may be of some comfort to you, too.
Not sure this link will go to his post?

I will pray for you, your wife, and DeeDee, logboom.
May the Lord give you all the best judgments in this situation, and excellent skills for the vet.
May He cover you all with comfort and grace.
May He be your Shelter from the storm.
May the Lord hold you close through this dark time, and wipe your tears.
For Christ’s sake …
I’m very sorry, Logboom.
🙏🏻
Praying that the Lord might grant you the discernment that you seek, & that He may comfort you in your sorrow. God bless, Logboom.
I’m very sorry to learn about your beloved friend,DeeDee.This is a heartbreaking thing to have to decide.
“Lap of Love” are wonderful, caring and compassionate people… I know.
I pray that you are able to try and remember that you provided her with love for seven years, and she has provided you and your wife with love that will last a lifetime.
May the Lord’s blessings be with you and your wife at this very stressful time.Amen.
logboom,
My condolences on your precious family member. This hurts. I pray Dee Dee peace.
Losing a best friend pup…very very hard. I still tear up thinking of my Woodrow Paul. He was my Jack Russell terrier. Oh how we loved each other! It’s embarrassing how long he has been gone to the rainbow bridge and I still tear up…raising Cain no doubt! I hope 😁. Oh how I loved that boy.
we had teenage boys at the time and a weekend my sons fought…almost fisticuffs…I got between them and thankfully no fists to them or me in between. One son had a friend overnight that witnessed this. The friends mom came the next day to pick up her son…she had heard the story already. I met her in the driveway with Woodrow hugging me in my arms. She too had sons…she said something along the lines of boys being boys. She noticed Woody hugging me and said he’s like a child! I responded…yes…he’s the best kid I have and he shits on the floor! Good times. Sweet times. Tears still. Oh my. Guess I’m a foolish old woman.😢
Oh NanaB,
Sometimes I think it a curse to love so deeply. It hurts to lose the good and the soft and the compassionate… in a world of hard and ugly. But there will always be a soul… a man or beast… who will need our warmth and love. May God direct us all to them and may we live boldly to give the love God calls us to steward.
You are not a foolish old woman… no more than I am a foolish middle aged woman.
JWoo… You, NanaB, Miss Della and others on this thread have beautiful, wise and caring souls. Your written expressions of faith in following Jesus and shared life experiences are appreciated and should be commended… your concern for others amid your own struggles is a testament to Christ’s infuence in your lives and to the indwelling of The Holy Spirit. I pray that Our Heavenly Father continues to pour out blessings to you all….
With Love
Bulldog, I just saw this.
You are so dear to me, and to us here. I don’t click on that little bell thingy to get notifications when others reply. It just didn’t seem to work for me, so I feel as though I miss things. I feel terribly that I missed this from you two days ago.
God did not promise us an easy life. He just promised to not ever leave us. I so hope you will be compelled to stay on these pages. This is a good place. In many ways a Holy Place where the Truth is broadcast freely.
Big hugs to you my friend.
I would like to humbly ask for prayers of spiritual and emotional healing for myself and my father, Lawrence.
We have struggled greatly at times over the past 5 years due to strife in the workplace (it’s complicated) and our reactions to each other regarding it. There was a period of about a year where we barely spoke, and we worked in the same building together. Though we have both moved on physically from that situation, emotionally we both still have moments of great conflict/disagreement because of it.
I ask for our hearts and minds to be open to each other. That we might better understand and offer love for each other in the ways we need.
May it be as you say according to the will of the Lord. I pray that He might soften your hearts & heal both your hurts. God bless, Winston.
Thank you Joe. Wishing you all the best.
Good morning, Winston,
Boundaries are really an excellent way to mold a fractured relationship. My father was not especially easy to get along with. I quite literally moved 2500 miles away to get away from him in my youth, and I didn’t come back to my hometown until one year after he died – for it was then “safe” for me to do so.
Don’t get me wrong… I love and deeply respect my father.
So, if I may… the managing of my relationship started with me.
When he would get abusive or intolerable, I would remove myself from the situation. I would say, “Well, Dad, I have to go. I love you. Have a good day!”
My father was retired military police, narcotics division, an investigator… so he was not stupid.
I would start in with him, warm and loving… I would listen. I would share as best as I could, to be encouraging and uplifting. I stood up to him and was firm… but loving. He called onto me that I should be a preacher, but I… as a woman… believe I am none the such as per 1 Timothy in the Bible. The standing up earned his respect for me, but it was how I managed my communications with him… that bridged the gap in our relationship.
When he would start to go off the rails, get deeply offensive, or angry in Spirit… I would say the above… “Well, Dad… I have to go. I love you.”
After several of these abrupt endings spoken in love to him… he started to catch on. If he wouldn’t get angry, go off the rails, become aggressive… I would stay and linger longer. I would listen to him longer. Our conversations would become more meaningful and he opened up and shared with me… without hostility.
Approaching my father, was like approaching a raging animal… slowly, cautiously, humbly, and compassionately. He was a deeply wounded person, and deeply wounded people… deeply wound other people. So, my 2,500 mile distance was a healthy boundary for me and for my young newborn daughter. He died when she was 15 months old, but she only knew love from my dad… because that is what I chose to share and he did, very truly, adore her. She is 18 years old now and she still has the stuffed puppy and baby blanket he gave her. It is cherished and she loves her granddad.
He came around and we had a good, meaningful, rich relationship up until his death, but it took many years. It was worth every effort.
I pray you to know and set your boundaries, but to continue to reach over and to encourage, edify, and uplift him. When you start getting dragged down, or enticed to battle… you… just… stop. Stop. Say “I have to go. I love you, Dad.” Continue this practice and let’s see if his heart… and yours… can’t be warmed towards each other.
You first, my friend. You will be so glad you did and your conscience will be clear and you will give him every opportunity to come around. It’s hard at first, but with practice… you will transfer this skill to many difficult people in your life.
Forgive me for sounding preachy… but I have no more parents. My daughter has no grandparents. We value our elder relationships as we have none of our own anymore and we cherish the rich history that our elders hold and look to glean from their rich experiences.
May you and your father be richly blessed. I pray this for you, in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
From your sister in Christ, Winston, who mourns the loss of my father and mother every day.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful and sincere response. Lots to consider and and I sincerely appreciate your perspective and willingness to be open and sharing with me.
We all go through adversity to help others when their time comes. I pray peace between you and your father.
Winston, your request brought tears … because I believe God puts that longing in our hearts – to love one another.
And He promises to help us do that, but apart from Christ we can do nothing.
Forgiving others and loving others are some of the hardest challenges in life. Even, for followers of Jesus.
Please remember that unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping it kills the other person.
It only hurts us!
I’ve experienced similar situations with my parents, and understand the pain.
Would offer encouragement that even if you are the first one to make amends – or the only one – with no cooperation from Lawrence, you can rest in the fact that you obeyed God and be at peace with Him. The consequences are in His hands.
I will pray for you and your father, Winston.
May the Lord God draw you and your father close to Himself, and then to each other.
May the Lord give you both a humble heart, willing to forgive, and be restored to a loving relationship.
May He help you and Lawrence let go of any grudges, and recognize that all need a Savior for our flaws.
May God heal you both of the wounded hearts and cover the hurtful memories with His grace.
May He give you and your father a compelling desire to make things right – and strengthen the ties between you and him.
May the Lord teach you what you need to know, and give you what you need to have.
May He help you both learn to deny self and walk in surrender to God’s will.
May the Lord fill both of your lives with wonderful memories, gladness and His peace in the days ahead.
Lord, please stop the evil spiritual forces from stealing and destroying Winston’s relationship with his father.
You designed the family and how it should function. And the adversary is trying to tear Winston’s apart.
Lord, You can wash away the sand from the seashore every day; You can wash the remnants of stinging words, actions, and emotions from their hearts and minds.
Please deliver them from all of the enemy’s intended harm and wickedness, for Your glory, dear Lord.
For Christ’s sake, amen.
Amen!
Thank you so much Della. Your (and others) prayers mean the world to me. In fellowship and love, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I am experiencing severe dizziness that has caused two falls….PTL no injuries from them, but I am not able to do much right now for fear of fall/injury.
10 hours spent in the ER only said I was dehydrated, yet it keeps happening.
Please pray for a diagnosis and that something can be done about this.
Thank you and God Bless you all!❤🙏✝️
Praying to the Lord for your healing, & that the doctors may be led to discover what is causing this. God bless & keep you, SouthernHeart.
Dehydration can do mean things to a body. Even when I was drinking a lot of water, I was not absorbing properly and I was still parched… so I was instructed to take Liquid IV for electrolytes. You can get it sugar free with a Stevia sweetener, so it’s not bad… really. When I started getting hydrated again, boy could I feel the difference in my body.
Vitamin deficiencies are real and quite common with our diet. I hope that you have a good doctor who can run some tests and check your levels. The solution may be so very simple and not expensive. Liquid IV is a little spendy, but it is worth every penny and I feel a real difference when I stay faithfully hydrated.
I was also found to have the MTHFR gene mutation… which means that my body would not absorb normal vitamins. They had to be methylated for absorption. Just look for the word “Methyl” in the vitamin description. GNC vitamin stores are a wealth of knowledge and were a lot of help to me. Also, mine would match prices from anywhere and actively worked to give me the best deals.
The last thing that is coming to me is to have the doctor check your inner ear. The labrynth in there is responsible for balance and equilibrium. If you have an infection in there, that could be the source of your dizziness, too. An old boyfriend of mine had a problem with his ears and it put him right on the ground, dizzy as can be. Again, very easy fix for this.
I pray for your good help and for the dizziness to go away, in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Praying for those shining the light. God bless and protect patriots and our country. 🙏🇺🇲
Amen.
Praying for you, too, Lorrie as you seek to continue to teach and lead our children. Many blessings, friend. Love.
The Jesus Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me, a sinner.
Prayers for you and your neighbors Sepp. Stay safe. 🙏
Update…my BIL is slowly regaining his strength. Facing heart ablation as well as hernia repair. My sister is doing better…no more passing out of late.
praying for all treepers here. Please send updates when appropriate. We need to send prayers of thanks as well as prayers of help! We need to send prayers even when the path is murky. Pray without ceasing, always.
Sounds like some good news, Nana. Will continue to keep them in prayer. Blessings.
Thanks Joe. Praying for your mom and aunt and for you as well. God bless you.
AMEN, Sis, NanaB. Been thinking of you and your siblings. May God always show His Great Works to you through your and their travails and may His Hands guide the surgeons and His Spirit indwell them with great wisdom. He never leaves us or forsakes us. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Thank you JWoo. Your words are comforting. May God continue to bless you and Savannah and guide you through this bumpy life. We are all so blessed to have this branch and to support and pray for each other. We become friends and what a great gift this is!
Please pray for my wife who has dementia. I was informed my neighbor has Parkinson’s. He is 65 and apparently has five years before he will have to go into a nursing home without family. Finally pray for your loved ones.
Praying for God’s loving hand to be upon your wife, to give her clarity of mind & restoration to her body, & for your neighbor also. God bless, Lou.
Lou,
Praying for our God to give you Divine strength and wisdom for the days ahead. May He give you extra time, perseverance, and stamina to take good care of your bride and to look in on and care for your neighbor. In God’s Timing, a day can seem like a week and a week can seem like a day. I pray for the days that are strenuous, that your hour nap will feel like eight, full of refreshing. For when time’s are hard, I pray they pass swiftly, so that you are encouraged that tough times never last, but tough people do. Don’t look too far ahead, just heed the moment, hour, and day ahead. The overall picture could feel overwhelming, but nothing is “too much” for the Lord and He never gives you more than you can handle. Sometimes it may seem He thinks really highly of you, but do not stress. Just breathe. Hang in and hold on, dear friend. We are here to pray for you and are honored to do so. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Praying for you and your wife Lou as well as your neighbor. We just found out one of our neighbors has Parkinson’s too and struggling. Blessings to you. Stay strong and lean on your faith. Keep us posted.

Hi Treeper Prayer Warriors!
I reflect on our country and the state of affairs a lot. I found these passages in Matthew that spoke to me and our relationship to the Lord. I hope it encourages you. Mt 12:17-21
“this is to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah.
18 Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, the one in whom I delight. I will pour out my spirit on him/
19 He will not quarrel nor cry out. no one will hear his voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smouldering wick he will not snuff out till he leads JUSTICE to VICTORY.
21 In his name the Nations will put their hope.”
Good morning Prayer Warriors. My best friend Keturah is suffering with stage 4 breast cancer, that was only discovered at stage 4. We are going to see a surgeon tomorrow to discuss the full body MRI done last week and what intervention is available and or prudent. She is in a lot of pain, however she is set up with a pain management clinic in the cancer center.
She is the strongest ,most devout and sincere warrior for Christ I have ever known. She inspires me to be better, and to keep on the path God sets out, even when it makes no sense to me.
Earlier today she had to take her long time constant companion, a beautiful cat named Snobbs, to the vet. He was diagnosed with terminal heart failure and they recommended euthanasia. For now, she took him back home to pray and comfort him before the inevitable. We’ll be going back in a little while.
My friend is so devastated. Snobbs helps her be calm in the face of agonizing pain, he never leaves her side. She is inconsolable. I don’t know how to comfort her right now and I am so so afraid she will give in and give up fighting for her life. I feel helpless yet I know this is all part of God’s plan. I am so confused…
Please help me pray for Keturah. And for my own guidance, I need some warriors today. Thank you all so very much.
Love to all, Alleycats.
This made me very sad, Alleycats. I join you in prayer for your dear friend Keturah, for the Lord’s healing touch to come upon her. God is still in the miracle-working business, & He can do any & all things. We believe that. May He comfort her broken heart over the impending loss of her cat & fill that hole with His glorious presence. May He also give you the words to speak to her to provide comfort & love in this time of great need. God bless you both.
Thank you so much Joe Blow.
We had a good day today. Hubby dug a small grave this morning, Keturah said goodbye to Snobbs.
Later we all went out to eat and enjoy the beautiful weather. We laughed a lot and I was so grateful she could find joy even if for a short time. When we took her home she was able to go to sleep for a long while.
Prayers for your dear friend Alleycats. What a sad and scary time for her and saying goodbye to Snobbs so heartbreaking to read. My heart aches for her. You are a wonderful friend and will see her through with your support and prayers and many acts of kindness. Keturah is blessed with your love.
Thank you NanaB.
The surgeon has referred Keturah back to the oncologist, we see him Thursday.
Surgery is not an option at this point because the cancer has invaded her skin and the pectoral muscle all the way up, and the side of her neck. They also found a small tumor on her thoracic spine.
We are still praying for a miracle. 🙏🙏🙏
Prayers of Thanksgiving…please join me…!
My AC was repaired…it is from 1987…we think it has 2-3 more years of life in it…!!!
And I still had the paperwork that showed the type of refrigerant needed!
God is good and merciful, its been so very hot…
Praise God for that! I have a couple of appliances from 1987 that are still kicking around. They sure don’t make things now like they used to. Blessings to you, Aggie.
We have a fridge in the garage from the 80’s as well. We have to duct tape the freezer door closed but other than that it is still working as designed! Once upon a time we had a sub zero…thing needed repairs twice a year at least!
hated that thing! The old fridge was a lifesaver/food saver back then too.
Aggie, sooo GOOD to hear! Love hearing stories of God’s Mercies! He really comes through for us!
I pray for conservatives especially MAGA not to be naive in the coming months. Illusions are rampant.
In a special way, am asking for general prayers for my patient…just because…(he saw something special)…that I would not normally have believed in a million years…
I had a very humbling experience while working last night in an urban ICU step down unit…I was making rounds and my one patient was awake…I asked the usual questions and when I asked about pain…he said yes, in his lower leg…well, I checked him and sure enough, a leg cramp…so I did what I could to relieve it and it worked…
About a half hour later, my PCT came to me and told me the patient told her… said I was special…and how I helped him…and that he literally saw a “light” over my head shining on me over my head…(we had also had a brief conversation about gospel music and God’s love)….(needless to say I was shocked about the light…)…
I often try to pray at least a short prayer for my patients, not always good on follow thru but I do try…but this guy is special too…to have seen something…like this…as I struggle with the issues of the day and the thoughts that intrude my head when reading about politics etc…those thoughts are not always Christian…
It was a special moment and gives me hope…I shiver with goose bumps thinking about it…Thank you ‘for listening’ Treepers…
“When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord.”
Exodus 34:29
Aggie, your story is so moving and I thought of when Moses came down from Mt. Sinai with the Tablets.
Sometimes, these kind of moments feel like a “holy hug” from God.
Just to remind us that He’s there …
Who knows how God will use this, Aggie?
It has already touched several people – the patient, yourself, your teammate, me, and others who will hear.
Personally, God spoke to me through this.
Our country is burning – and people everywhere need Him.
In the end, this world will pass away – but souls live forever.
(Confession) I need to pray more for others – and worry/fret less!
Aggie, I empathize that as Christians living in an un-Christian world, it’s hard to remain untouched by all the vitriol. It constantly swirls around us …
It amazes me, tho, how our Heavenly Father chooses to use us – even when we’re not up to par!
He doesn’t turn us away when we sometimes quench or grieve His Spirit.
The Light of the world lives within us – and the darkness cannot put it out!
What a wonderful place – and time – in which God has placed you, Aggie.
To be His hands and feet – ministering to the sick, the hurting, and the lost.
I know it’s hard work, especially when we are older.
But the Lord will give you strength. 🙏🏻
>>
Dear Lord, Please help Aggie’s patient come to know you as Savior and Lord.
Bring healing and comfort to him. Provide for all of his needs in the days ahead.
May He be filled with Your Holy Spirit, and live in eternity with You, Gracious God.
Lord, Thank you for Aggie and how she serves others and You.
Please give her strength and wisdom where any action of hers can make this world a better place, where any word of hers can cheer a sad heart, or help them know about our Savior, Jesus.
Help her, dear Lord, to be a channel of Your love to those around her.
Protect Aggie’s heart and mind from evil in the coming days … Fill them with Your thoughts and ways.
Lord, give her Your Peace, and provide for all her needs – physical, mental, spiritual.
For Christ’s sake, Amen.
🥰🙏🏻
Aggiegirl, I’ve been thinking of your post off and on all day. I loved it! You are so very blessed and your patient was witness to your blessing. What a gift to both of you!
Here is a story of my own…one of a few. My DIL had taken me to her acupuncturist for a back/leg issue. So this Richy guy put all these needles in my spine…one kept spitting out…he said that had never happened before but that’s not the story. After all the needles were in he left the room with my DIL for a half hour for me to “rest”. I’d never had this done before and didn’t know anything about this whole thing. So as I laid there alone in the room..all these needles sticking out of my back I “heard my long deceased grandma laughing”. I was thinking of her laughing I didn’t actually hear her laughing.
so after a half hour Richy comes back in to remove the needles. And that was that.
my DIL and I left and she asked me if I had felt any presence in the room while I was resting. I said no, why? She said Richy told her that there were women spirits in the room exuding so much love for me while he was doing the acupuncture. Hmm. If so, my grandma thought it all very funny but if love was there…I am grateful.
my leg issues have never been resolved…went thru Mayo and many exams with many doctors…they can see the issue but they don’t know what or why. Mystery. But I often think of this Richy guy…a see er. Your patient could see what most do not. You are doing the Lords work Aggiegirl! Thank you for sharing this with us.
My prayer request is for a family member who I am estranged with. She is now in hospice and chose to sever ties with family (I am an in-law). She is in a nursing home by herself and this makes me incredibly sad. I tried to make amends, but sadly she was completely unwilling to take responsibility for her actions and preferred to point her finger at everyone else. It didn’t go well, but I tried. I am praying that the Holy Spirit guides me – I would like to request that a Priest will go to her and provide anointing but I don’t know if this is the right thing to do. She is Catholic and I know this would mean something to her. But there is such bad blood among other family members. It is all so very unfortunate….
Asking for prayers from you all and guidance from God.
MTeresa, sorry to hear about this troubling situation.
It’s painful when families become estranged without resolution.
At times like these, only God can open eyes and soften hearts.
Not getting in your business, but offering a few thoughts:
Seems like your idea of inviting a Priest to visit could be helpful? How could it not?
Sounds like you were the mediator before … Could you try again?
(After prayer, of course.)
Encourage the offended members to forgive and let it go. It’s history now.
Help them to see that it no longer matters who was right or wrong.
What’s important now – her death is impending and loved ones need to be at peace with each other – before it’s too late.
You mentioned she’s in nursing home. It’s quite likely her memory or brain is not functioning normally.
My mother was like that with dementia. I had to overlook many (hurtful) things she said/did.
Help them to understand her reasoning is limited, and this is the time for patience with her … as with a child.
Help your family see that holding onto bitterness and resentment will hurt them, now and in the long-run.
It’s not worth it.
I know this is hard to deal with, and have been there. Done that.
But the Holy Spirit gives His children the necessary power to obey Him.
Love covers a multitude of sins!
Love triumphs over evil …
I will pray for your family, MTeresa.
May the Lord God give you all His wisdom and humble hearts.
May He fill your hearts with His love that can be poured out on your family member.
May He remove all grudges and hurtful memories
May He heal all wounds, and bind up broken hearts.
May He give you all a knowledge of His Will in this situation, and a desire to do it.
May His perfect, righteous Will be done in your lives.
May God give you all His mercy and grace, and wholeness in all of life.
God says that as far as it depends on us, to be at peace with all men. (Romans 12:18)
We can’t make others be at peace with us, but we can do our part towards them.
Last, God can do and will do all these things asked for – BUT, we have to participate with Him, too.
Prayer will move God to act on your behalf. Pray, and pray some more. Please do not give up.
Blessings on you, MTeresa, and I thank God that you have a tender heart for your family. And for Him.
For Christ’s sake, amen.

From what I now understand, the person in charge of her care is aware that she wanted last rites so my main concern been resolved. Her wishes were made known, now it is up to her son to facilitate that for her. I will not overstep my boundaries because this will cause additional problems for the rest of the family members and I am not going there. Trying to convince others to is frankly not up to me. It’s just the reality.
I believe I did the best what I could by reaching out to her last year before she was hospitalized. I was told that the process of making amends is like a gift. It is up to the person receiving it to do with it what they want, but they can’t “give it back”. There are never any guarantees how one will receive an amends – sometimes it works and the relationship can heal and sometimes it doesn’t (which happened). That is free will and she was still quite lucid when this happened. I did what I could.
Any way you slice it, it’s just a rotten situation and I feel like all I have left, is prayer: prayer for her, prayer for her family, prayer to heal a LOT of broken hearts.
Thank you for your kind words Miss DB.
I’m truly sorry about this, MTeresa.
May God bless you!
I have been blessed to be dog tired. My body broken and battered. Barely able to move. To wake, surprisingly, with a song in my heart. This morning, it was “Testify” by NeedToBreathe. This joy that I can’t shake. This joy that overwhelms and overtakes the weakest of minds and bodies. Each day, I heal, and I grow stronger… more resolute in my path. Choosing joy and to love the pain. For through adversity, we grow endurance and the Spirit to never give up and to run our race well. Don’t we all need to BREATHE? If breathing can bring a birthing woman through delivery in the strongest pain she experiences in life, followed by the greatest of life-giving victories, God-appointed pain, it will bring us through the very worst of troubles. Just breathe. I dedicate this to those among us suffering their pains delivering them into Eternity with Him. You’re almost home. Hang on. Breathe.
I pray blessings over your heads and homes. Your children and your children’s children. Let these words infuse you and flow through you. Let this music fill you and drive you. Testify. Our God Loves us with an Infinite Mercy. We are the apple of His Eyes. His most precious children. God bless you. The Holy Spirit indwell you. Jesus walk alongside you. May The Triune lift you. I love you, brothers and sisters.
So, Too, I Shall Worship The Lord – by Joan Woods, in Whitestown, Indiana, the 29th of June, in the year of Our Lord 2024
When time is fleeting
And I do not have enough
Guilt of the to do’s and need to’s
Rise all around
When I am spread so thin
So, too, I shall worship The Lord
As storms swirl all around me
And the devil closes in
When I can’t forgive
Because of all the sin
I will raise my eyes
So, too, I shall worship The Lord
When the numbers don’t match up
And our shelter and stability is uncertain
I will look to the birds whom The Lord
Gives to freely
Am I not more favored than these?
Made in His Image, I am blessed indeed
So, too, I shall give and worship The Lord
For He Is In Charge of the safety
Of the very least of these
So, too, shall He not care for me?
So, too, I shall worship The Lord
As I watch with uncertainty
The destinies of my children
Their mistakes and confusion
Their faces aging from their youth I know
Trying to catch their toddler feet tripping
My mind not gripping their journey
I will open my hand and let them “go”
For they belong to The Lord Who created
And they are forming their own testimonies
So, too, I shall worship The Lord
Surrounded by calamity
By liars, thieves, and corruptors
I will grip my Cross
Stand in defiance and assert and speak
The Truth
So, too, I shall worship The Lord
I lean into Him
When there is no one else around
For He is Trustworthy and Sound
His Judgment and Giving Abounds
So, too, I shall worship The Lord
When my body breaks down
Its joints and muscles scream out to me
When my hands curl and tighten
With age and infirmity
For I am fearfully and wonderfully made
So, too, I shall worship The Lord
Though I walk through the valley
Of the shadow of death
And Eternity is just over the horizon
I will wake and stand
Smile and give thanks
Allow me to Testify
Of His Goodness and Mercy
On me, a sinner
So, too, I shall worship The Lord
NeedToBreathe “Testify” “I will build My mystery, as soon as you start… to let go.”
NeedToBreathe “Multiplied” “Your Love Is like radiant diamonds bursting inside us”
NeedToBreathe “Brother”
“God of Mercy, sweet love of mine, I have surrendered to Your Design. Made His Offering stretched across the sky. Peace Hallelujah. Be multiplied.”
That was beautiful, Joan. God love your heart.
Amen.
Woo, your faith-filled words and praise inspire! Thank you!
Followers of Christ must continue to believe God’s promises in these trying times.
Regardless of the difficult roads ahead.
He will carry us to our eternal home with Him!
It’s so hard to surrender all to The Lord, because we’re human.
He understands.
God wants us all to give everything we have and all that we are – back to Him.
Then, our journey will be lighter, and our hope brighter –
Until our faith becomes sight!
Blessings to you, Woo.
God will meet all of your needs in Christ Jesus.
”Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:2
Amen Miss Della,
God really does make it so easy to BELIEVE. He Is. He Is all around us. He Is The Ultimate Authority and try as evil might, it will never usurp His Sovereignty. We win through Him.
He loves us. Oh, how He loves us.
🥰🥰
Prayers of gratitude and special thanks to the Treepers that prayed for my boy. He came home from Iraq yesterday! A tad thinner but looks good. He is happy to be w/his wife, his baby and to be home. His dogs were some kind of happy to see him.
While he was gone he missed the usual holidays, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Easter. Missed being w/his wife on her first Mother’s Day, as well as his own mom, and his mom’s b-day. He missed his first Father’s Day, his wedding anniversary, his wife’s birthday, his own birthday, and his son’s first b-day. I think I am forgetting something, anyway, he never complained. He is a Trooper.
Ya’ll provided comfort to me as well as I know helped him through his deployment and getting him back safe and sound w/your prayers. I appreciate it.
Ahhhh Leave,
Praise GOD through Whom all blessings flow! I left a little gift to our Treepers on the Open Thread. Maybe you can watch it together? Welcome home and thank you for your service, Soldier. We are honored to pray for and with your wife and family.
Thank you. I just watched the video. It was perfect! I hope you are feeling better. I had some bad Mexican the other week, it was rough. It took a few days to get back in the saddle.
Amen!
Leave, this is the best news I’ve heard in awhile! Got a lump in my throat …
I will pray that God will continue to help him, and his family as they reconnect.
May God restore what was taken and show favor on them!
May He Strengthen their love and affection for each other, and guide their future days.
Leave, I know your prayers for your dear one moved the Lord’s mighty hand.
He is blessed to have you in his life.
Thanks for letting us know.
And hope this will be a wonderful 4th of July for all of you! Fitting holiday, right!
🙏🏻🥰
Thank you Miss Della. He was in Germany when SD posted the link about the Euro bases being on high alert. I was sweating bullets, I would have been real upset to think he made it to Germany and then would be prevented from making the last leg of the trip home. Thank the Lord he made it. I texted him and he didn’t know what I was talking about. LOL!
Best part is his baby took right to him, he knew his dad. That was a thrill to see because when he left his son was still an infant, now he is toddling around and into everything!
“Best part is his baby took right to him, he knew his dad.”
Leave, this brings tears…
God works in amazing ways .. that something innate in the child, helped him “know” his dad.
I love how Jesus told us His Fathet is “always” at work.
Sometimes we (I) forget that!
🥰🙏🏻
