This is an interesting and curiously unmentioned diplomatic contrast.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer had a two-hour dinner with President Donald Trump after the U.K leader delivered a speech to the United Nations in New York.  However, intentionally unnoticed by U.S. media, the Prime Minister immediately left the U.S. following the lengthy meeting with President Trump, and never met with Kamala Harris.

The extensive discussion and dinner took place in New York, apparently at Trump Tower.  There is an aspect of typical British worry woven throughout British media reporting on the meeting because U.K. Foreign Secretary David Lammy, also attended the meeting.  Lammy once called President Trump a “woman-hating, neo-Nazi sympathizing sociopath.”

Undoubtably, when the priority of the dinner is overlaid with the U.K position on Ukraine; keep in mind a meeting with Zelenskyy followed the next morning; PM Starmer appears a little worried.  There is a massive amount of geopolitical embarrassment possible right around the corner when, not if, President Trump wins – and the position of the British govt toward Ukraine leaves them dancing alone when the music stops.

CONTEXT: Chairman Xi is big geopolitically, driven mostly by his economic position.  President Putin has become bigger geopolitically as a result of his smart post-sanction moves, in combination with his increasing economic position.  Heck, even Mohammed Bin Salmon (Saudi Arabia) and Narendra Modi (India) are now big in a world of stupidly applied Bidenomics. However, when you consider the dynamic of actually using economic leverage as THE truest aspect of geopolitical power, President Trump is GODZILLA.

Starmer and the rest, eh, lol. 😂  Prime Minister Keir Starmer meeting with President Trump is what might be called, ‘risk mitigation‘.  And people were wondering why Ric Grenell was present beside Donald Trump for the past few days.  lolol…  {{¹Hint}}

Earlier this morning in New York, President Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

During part of their brief remarks (video below) President Trump noted in his estimation there could be a quick resolution to the conflict with Russia, saying, “I have a good relationship with President Putin,” to which Zelenskyy interrupted, “I hope we have more good relation.”  In the artful and honest way of a man positioning for peace, President Trump noted, “it takes two to tango.”

The professional democrats and the professional republicans, essentially the UniParty in Washington DC, do not want the conflict to end.  The money laundering process created by the Ukraine conflict with Russia provides affluence for a host of domestic and foreign political interests.

Zelenskyy was created as a figurehead for Ukraine by western interests, the U.S. State Department and foreign policy establishment.  A change in administration stops the dynamic DC supports.

The only group who can end the conflict is the group who doesn’t benefit from it, that’s the American people.  The only person who can end the conflict is the voice representing the group that wants it to end, that’s President Trump.

Flooding and high water continue being a serious problem as former Hurricane Helene dumps massive amounts of rain.

Fast moving Helene made landfall about 10 miles west-southwest of Perry, Florida, at 11:10 pm last evening. Helene came ashore as a Cat-4 storm with over 120 mph sustained winds.  Seven fatalities have been reported. Following the storm surge, impacts are now being felt across the Southeast and into portions of the mid-Atlantic as the storm pushes farther inland and weakens.

The greatest ongoing threat from Helene’s activity continues to be flash flooding as torrential rain falls throughout the southeast, impacting rivers and pushing streams onto roads and into communities, sometimes trapping residents.

According to Fox News Weather, “The flash flood threat stretches from the Southeast into the mid-Atlantic, where multiple Flash Flood Emergencies were issued early Friday morning, including the first-ever Flash Flood Emergency issued for Atlanta.

At least seven other Flash Flood Emergencies were also issued in western North Carolina from Asheville to the Charlotte area.

According to a post on X from Haywood County Emergency Services, residents in portions of Waynesville, North Carolina, are being told to evacuate because of the potentially deadly situation that’s unfolding. (more)

It’s likely Fani told Nathan she was going to say, “she dindunuffin’,” and he better disappear.   Apparently, the U.S. Marshals are looking for Nathan Wade after he has refused to accept a subpoena for testimony.

ATLANTA — The U.S. House Judiciary Committee has now tapped the U.S. Marshals to help obtain testimony from former Fulton County special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

They’ve taken the step after Wade failed to appear for an earlier scheduled hearing, according to a copy of a letter accompanying a subpoena obtained by 11Alive. Now, a committee spokesman said they’ve asked the Marshals service to serve Wade with a subpoena to testify.

[…] “Nathan Wade’s evasion of service is extremely unusual and will require the Committee to spend U.S. tax dollars to locate him.”

The subpoena, signed September 20, requests Wade’s testimony at a September 26 hearing in Washington, DC.  Nathan Wade did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

This stuff is so predictable.  A person would think the DOJ-NSD would make an effort not to just reuse their prior playbook.  Alas, specifically because the IC silos are run by bureaucratic idiots, they just end up rehashing anything that works.

Presumably -if I am correct- we will see some patsy Iranian group named, labeled and blamed for the hacking, likely around the end of this month. TODAY IN DC:  A grand jury has indicted multiple Iranians on charges related to hacking Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

The federal charges stem from an Iranian operation that allegedly stole internal Trump campaign communications this summer, according to three people familiar with the investigation who were granted anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it.

The names of the defendants and the specific criminal charges were not immediately available. A grand jury secretly approved the indictment on Thursday afternoon. The Justice Department is expected to announce the charges as soon as Friday.

Hurricane Helene is following the forecast track.  SW Florida is feeling the impact of the first storm surge.  Tropical storm force winds are being felt throughout Florida. All interests in the Big Bend area should heed local officials’ warnings and instructions.  Focus on the local emergency management advice.

For those who are in the path of the storm, there comes a time when all options are removed, and you enter the “Hunkering Down” phase. You’re just about there now.  Hurricane force winds extend 60 miles from center.

At 100 PM CDT (1800 UTC), the center of Hurricane Helene was located near latitude 26.4 North, longitude 85.0 West. Helene is moving toward the north-northeast near 16 mph (26 km/h). A significant increase in forward speed is expected during the next 24 hours. On the forecast track, Helene will make landfall in the Florida Big Bend region this evening. After landfall, Helene is expected to turn northwestward and slow down over the Tennessee Valley on Friday and Saturday.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 110 mph (175 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional strengthening is forecast, and Helene is expected to be a major hurricane when it reaches the Florida Big Bend coast this evening. Weakening is expected after landfall, but Helene’s fast forward speed will allow strong, damaging winds, especially in gusts, to penetrate well inland across the southeastern United States, including over the higher terrain of the southern Appalachians.

Helene is a very large hurricane. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 345 miles (555 km). (link)
