And here he is at the National Prayer Breakfast today saying: “While I’m in the White House, we will protect Christians in our schools, in our military, in our government, in our workplaces, hospitals and in our public squares,” he said. “And we will bring our country back together as one nation under God.” and he wants Americans to “bring God back into our lives.” 🙂

I don’t know if anyone else sees the change in President Trump from his first term to now his third. He seems to me to be more at peace. He is aware that he is a target for assassination per his comments the other day at an EO signing, and it seems he has come to some sort of acceptance of it, understanding that every day is a gift. He seems unconstrained, more focused, more intent on his mission to restore our Republic….and dare I say fearless.
I can’t help but believe these words from Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn would strike home for him.
Thank you, dearest Lord, for delivering your servant, Donald John Trump, to be a warrior serving in Your army for Your glory. Amen.

What a great gift from God is our President Trump. For us and for the entire world. And with each success, his humility seems to deepen.
His greatest attribute for inspiration is not his skill and talent. Not his negotiating ability. Not his strength, not his confidence.
I see such a man humbling himself and seeking to understand God, seeking to do right, and I see transformation happening.
The transformation of such a man is a greater testimony to the Power and Glory and Grace of God.
So should be the goal of each one of us. Our greatest return on investment: Allow ourselves to be transformed by making Jesus our true Lord, our reason for existing, our goal of perfection.
Some (mostly on the political left) have called Trump a fake Christian. Only God monitors souls and intentions, so I’ll leave that judgement to Him. However, by one is known by his acts (Matthew 7:20), and like myself, Trump’s life’s actions have been “variable”. That said, recorded in the same book (Matthew 10:32) were Jesus’ own words: “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven”.
So, when Trump is testifying about God to the world. God notices. I believe He’ll bless the nation because of Trump, too. That’s because, “the God who is there” is faithful. He keeps His promises, no not Trump, he’s attempting to, but God will, and will never fail.

And most of that venom from leftist pie-holes is projection; informative only in that sense.
There’s a fairly good book written about Trump’s history as a Christian and his family’s religious background in New York City which came out during Trump’s first term. Long story short, the minister Norman Vincent Peale’s message seems to have influenced and shaped how Trump approaches life. I want to say it’s Stephen Strang’s “God and Donald Trump” but it’s been a few years since I read it, many books ago.
The path to the Lord can be long and winding but the destination is always the same.
