U.S. Border Patrol Under Machine Gun Fire – "I don't know why we're out here like sitting ducks," one Border Patrol source said. "We need help."…

Last week we shared the story of reports from inside the Border Patrol who refused to participate in removing the Murietta protesters.   When DHS riot squads were called into action by the Obama administration the Border Patrol warned they would ‘stand down’ and not enforce -or participate in- the aggressive tactic.
In response to that article many people said such a position was hard to believe because the current federal government has so radicalized and militarized so many agencies – people simply find it hard to believe the BP law authority would refuse to obey.
I kept quiet and chose not to argue the point.    However, what many people forget is how the Obama regime began their tenure.  Remember Brian Terry, or Fast n Furious?   The Obama administration has been openly and specifically hostile to the U.S. Border Patrol boots on the ground.   The BP know this administration does not care about their personal safety.   Today’s border activity is yet another example of why, if push comes to shove, the Border Patrol will side with citizens, not the administration:

Senator Dianne Feinstein: The U.S. Is Now At Cold War Levels With Russia…

(National Journal) […]  When asked by CNN’s Candy Crowley for if U.S.-Russia relations were now “at Cold War levels,” Feinstein did not hesitate. “Yes,” the California Democrat replied.

“The issue is, where is Putin? I would say, Putin, you have to man up,” Feinstein said. “You should say if this was a mistake, which I hope it was, own up. even if it was, it was a horrendous mistake. … and it points out the futility of what is going on in Ukraine.” (more…)

"Our People" – Democrat Congressman Luis Gutierrez To La Raza: Obama Assured Me He Would “Stop The Deportation Of Our People”

“our people”?   Hmmm, where have we heard that before?  Oh yes, that’s right:

….in the mind of a hyphenated progressive, there’s always an adjective that precedes the word “American”.  I digress….

obama-luis-gutierrez-wh-photo-1-550x412(Via Breitbart) On Saturday, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) said President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was a “down payment” to the Hispanic community before more grants of amnesty for illegal immigrants.
Speaking at the National Council of La Raza conference in Los Angeles, Gutierrez said that Obama assured him during a White House meeting with Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus last week that he would be as “generous and broad” as he can to “stop the deportation of our people each and every day.”
“You gave us a down payment when you freed 600,000 DREAMers from deportation,” Gutierrez said. “Now it is time for the president in the United States… [to] free the Mom and Dads of the DREAMers. And to go further. Be broad and expansive and generous.”  (read more)

As expected – It appears Obama is going to use taxpayer money through AmeriCorps to fund the legal representation for the Unaccompanied Alien Children  – Here’s a link to the Justice Department contract requirement.   [Backstory – You can get up to speed on this HERE and HERE ]
Of course the obvious issues are glaring and, well illegal. Section 292 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, codified at 8 U.S.C. § 1362, states:

In any removal proceedings before an immigration judge and in any appeal proceedings before the Attorney General from any such removal proceedings, the person concerned shall have the privilege of being represented (at no expense to the Government) by such counsel, authorized to practice in such proceedings, as he shall choose. ‘Helluva Pinpoint Operation:’ Kerry Caught On Open Mic Sarcastically Slamming Israeli Gaza Op…

Against the backdrop of both Israel (Netanyahu) and Egypt (el-Sisi) telling Secretary Kerry to stay out of the issues in the Gaza Strip – Kerry goes on the Sunday talk show circuit, and -during ‘hot mic’ candor- simultaneously reveals why Netanyahu and el-Sisi want Obama’s team kept out.

(Via Daily Caller) Maybe there’s a reason the White House has been keeping John Kerry from Fox News.
Just moments after a testy exchange with “Fox News Sunday’s” Chris Wallace over what the Secretary of State perceived as repeated interruptions, Wallace played a clip captured while Kerry waited to appear on the Sunday news program.
Seemingly oblivious to the fact that the State Department camera in front of him and mic pinned on his lapel were live, America’s top diplomat harshly criticized the on-going Israeli operation in Gaza following news of Israeli army casualties and Palestinian civilian deaths.  (read more)

Amid A Busy Week John Kerry Appears On Fox News Sunday….

White House Communications Director Ben Rhodes must really be annoyed with Secretary John Kerry this week.
Kerry and Wallace got into a heated exchange:

Mailboxes and Old Barns: Gotta do what we gotta do

kilowattWe finally got electricity in 1951. It was expected and though the poles had been installed for some time, the houses wired, and the wires strung, the promise of what was to come – didn’t. The impatience built and finally the older siblings thought it a stellar idea to just leave all of those switches in the house in the on position – just in case.
We came home from town one day and everything that could run was running. Everything that could light was lit. The juice was on!
Although it was an exciting moment my primary memory, as a seven year old, is how much it was simply taken in stride. We hadn’t missed it because we had never had it. Carrying the kerosene lamps up the stairs at bedtime and properly handling them so that we didn’t burn the house down was second nature and not considered a hardship. My mother’s sterling coffee pot and all of her pretty dresses did not fall short of anyone’s idea of living well. (more…)

Pennsylvania Governor Worried About Health Issues With Immigration and "Unaccompanied Alien Children"…

It doesn’t sound as if Governor Corbett is even aware that about 10 miles north of Allentown in a town called Schnecksville, Pennsylvania – the feds are already housing “Unaccompanied Alien Children”.   Strange, no?

corbettPITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Immigration continues to be a hot topic in the U.S., including in non-border states like Pennsylvania.
Friday, Gov. Tom Corbett addressed the issue and how it affects Pennsylvania, saying health is a major concern.
“We feel for these children that they are fleeing their countries,” Corbett said. “We want to make sure they are taken care of and returned to their countries. But we also are concerned about their health and what they may cause as far as health issues in the state of Pennsylvania”. (more…)

Colorado Governor and Denver Mayor Want To Participate In HHS UAC Grant Program…

COLORADO – Officials with Human Services in Denver are considering applying for a $4 million federal grant to house immigrant children who come to the U.S. alone.
The department is in the process of applying for a three-year federal grant to pay for housing the children.

“The children trying to come to this country without their parents are victims of a humanitarian crisis,” said Mayor Michael Hancock Friday. “In Denver, we care about kids. The work of departments like DHS is how we answer the call to serve.
“In this case, the federal government is trying to place refugee children with family members. And while we have not yet been asked, we recognize that we are likely to have relatives in our community who will want to take in their young family members. (more…)

"Unaccompanied Alien Children" Transfers To Your Community ? – UAC Research – Where Are The Illegal Aliens and "Unaccompanied Alien Minors" Being Placed ?

Using information within the TAGGS system for Health and Human Services we are able to identify the recipients for Grants specifically designated for “Unaccompanied Alien Children”, or UAC’s.

With that data, a few more search tools, some time and a little more research, we are able to identify the locations of facilities throughout the country where the HHS grants are being directed and the UAC’s are being transferred/housed.   There are essentially two broad types:  Residence Care, and Transitional to Foster Care Services.
illegal alien 5
From the FY 2014 HHS Grants we can identify the communities where direct HHS UAC funds have been sent.    We can identify the specific facility, or the organization supporting the foster care placement.  If you live in, or close to, one of the listed cities below, the UAC’s transfers are already in your community.
It should be noted that where possible we have tried to find out the number of children within the agency unit.   For some it was easy, some were listed on the grants, for others it was not possible.   Some are housed in Juvenile detention camps; some are in hospitals with specifically designated beds and dorms.  A large percentage are/were in transitional housing during placement to foster families, and some appear to have gone directly to foster families as the transition to their permanent family takes place.
We have also included the exact amount of the HHS grant for two reasons.   Number one, so that you can see how much this is costing you, the taxpayer.   However, there is a more valuable secondary reason.   We have identified (through extensive research) that each UAC, each individual, is estimated/evaluated at a HHS cost level of around $40,000 per grant (give or take).   So if you see a grant for $2,325,000 you can divide by $40k and find out that’s about 58 (people) UAC’s in that facility or process for the quarter (3 month period), or time they are being transitioned/processed in that facility or organization.
