The Importance of The Next FBI Director

Many people are discussing who President Trump will appoint to two positions: (1) Director of the National Security Agency (NSA); and (2) The Director of the FBI.  Without actually realizing it, both of these positions are fundamentally tethered.

The NSA Director is the librarian of the Intelligence Community.  The NSA gathers, collects, intercepts and stores the metadata of every electronic transmission, including communication. The Director of the NSA is in charge of that massive responsibility to protect and guard the library.

The FBI Director is the chief customer of that library.  On the domestic investigative side, the intelligence side, and the counterintelligence side of all FBI operations, their access to exploit that metadata has become critical.  The urgency of that need underpins the motive to continue reauthorizing FISA-702. When we remove the pretending, 702 reauthorization means surveillance access without warrants for all American communication.

The Fourth Amendment has been destroyed by legislative permission, and a complete lack of accountability for violations of law.  Americans are no longer “secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures,” and “reasonable cause” warrants are no longer needed.

It should not be too much to ask for an FBI Director who respects the Fourth Amendment. Alas, in the real world of the Patriot Act, pragmatically we are well aware that every sub-silo and contractor within the FBI toolbox has access to this unlimited surveillance library.

Perhaps unbeknownst to most, the people advising President Trump on his next FBI Director also hold a vested interest in making sure the nominated candidates for NSA and FBI will continue to allow exploitation.

I prefer an FBI Director who does not support FISA-702 warrantless searches of U.S. citizen data. Unfortunately, everyone in the orbit of President Trump providing the advice and recommending the candidates, do not hold the same view.  Not a single one.

Chuck Schumer Asks Republicans Not to End Filibuster and Continue Power of Minority – Republicans Say Meh, Okay

It has come to my attention that most of MAGA, specifically those who do not understand the history of Republicans in the Senate, support a return to Senatorial and Parliamentary norms, where 60 votes are needed in order to advance any legislative intent. [READ HERE] Stupid is, as stupid does.

Prior to the 2024 election, Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, promised to end the filibuster rule and change the Senate to a simple ‘majority rules’ body.  However, in the aftermath of the 2024 election outcome, where Democrats are now in the minority, Chuck Schumer has a reversal of prior opinion and is requesting the Republican leadership to retain the filibuster rule – giving power to the Democrats who now hold minority position.

Into this mix of UniParty and DeceptiCon political constructs, the online MAGA community are now advocating for a return to old Senatorial rules where amendments can be offered to all bills proposed and the 60-vote threshold is retained for cloture, filibuster power and legislative passage.

Despite knowing Majority Leader Schumer was going to crush them, Senator Rick Scott, Senator John Cornyn and yes, now, Majority Leader John Thune, are taking the high road and promising to keep the power of the Democrat minority in place.  A more apropos example of “Battered Conservative Syndrome” has never been so clear.

WASHINGTON DC – […] “The short version of that is: Please don’t do to us what we were going to do to you. Schumer is obviously concerned that Republicans might embrace a scheme to eliminate the filibuster and pass all sorts of consequential legislation with no Democratic input at all. That wouldn’t be bipartisan! Fortunately for Schumer, Republicans have been more principled than Democrats when it comes to the legislative filibuster, and to the filibuster in general. Republicans realize that even though they will have the majority for the next two years, they might be back in the minority at any time after that. So, Schumer will not get it good and hard the way he planned to give it to Republicans.” (more)

This is exactly how ‘republicanism’ infects the MAGA movement, ultimately and predictably positioning the future republican voters frustrated and shouting at trees.  Democrats, together with Mitch McConnell and John Thune love this, because it retains their lucrative business model.

Let me start by reminding the MAGA victims, that’s YOU, of the position of Democrats:

Zelenskyy Says Conflict with Russia Can End with Diplomacy

In reaction to the pending arrival of President Trump, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is now saying the conflict with Russia is possible to end with diplomacy:

(Via CBS) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv would like to end the war with Russia next year through “diplomatic means” as both countries prepare for President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House.

In an interview with the Ukrainian media outlet Suspilne, Zelenskyy said he is certain that the war will end “sooner” than it otherwise would have once Mr. Trump becomes president. (read more)

It is important to remember that in this “new democracy” framed by the support of U.S-led NATO, Zelenskyy cancelled all elections within Ukraine in order to maintain his alignment with western influence.

Zelenskyy’s new position is a natural outcome of President Trump’s pending arrival.

President Trump really doesn’t have to do much; all he needs to do is withdraw U.S. support, wait a little while, demand Ukraine hold elections, and Zelenskyy will flee the nation because the political support he needs to retain the illusion of the fight is not present in the will of the Ukraine majority.

Calling for diplomacy is an outcome of Ukraine’s inherent weakness if even the slightest measure of U.S. support is withdrawn. Ukraine can only maintain the battle as long as the U.S. continues funneling money, weapons and direct targeting assistance into the battlefield.

November 16th – 2024 Presidential Politics – Resistance Day 1398

“This was no small thing, to restore a republic after it had fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may have been that our task was impossible. Yet, if we did not try then how would we know it could not be done? And if we did not try, it most certainly would not be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, would have been lost.”

“But I tell you this: We did not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we made with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from this day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Reports of Former HPSCI Chairman Mike Rogers Being Discussed for FBI Director, Mar-a-Lago Interview

According to multiple media reports, former House Republican Mike Rogers is being considered for FBI Director.

There is three Mike Rogers, the one being discussed is the former Chair of the HPSCI, the Mike Rogers who protected Hillary Clinton.

First, all of the reports about a pending FBI Director announcement do not seem feasible.  Current FBI Director Christopher Wray has not resigned and still has two years left on his term.  President Trump does not take office until after inauguration in January, so he cannot appoint a nomination until after Wray resigns or President Trump (officially in office) fires him.

As a result, all of the reports of a “pending announcement” are seemingly moot.  Unless something changes, there will not be one.

All of that said, President Trump is reportedly considering Mike Rogers, the 2024 Republican Senate candidate in Michigan who lost his election last week.  [President Trump did endorse Mike Rogers, but he did not win his race.]

According to the media, one article below, President Trump is considering Mike Rogers for FBI Director.  Mike Rogers was previously the Chairman of the House Select Committee on Intelligence and has a very corrupt history of whitewashing an “unofficial report” on Benghazi, in order to protect Hillary Clinton.  When Chairman Rogers was leading the HPSCI he was in full alignment with the Deep State.

FIRST ON FOX – Will the second time be the charm for one-time Federal Bureau of Investigation special agent and former Rep. Mike Rogers?

Rogers, the 2024 Republican Senate nominee in Michigan who lost his election last week by a razor-thin margin, met Thursday with President-elect Trump’s transition team regarding potentially serving as FBI director in the former and future president’s second administration, sources familiar tell Fox News. The meeting took place at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.

President Trump Announces Nomination of Doug Burgum for Interior Secretary and Chair of New National Energy Council

President Trump has announced the nomination of North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum to head the Department of the Interior and also Chairman of a newly formed cabinet-level National Energy Council (energy Czar).

[Source]

Very interesting move, not in the appointment of Burgum, but in the duality of a method to tear apart the Dept of Interior Silo.

As the American people are starting to become aware of a return to civics, the President of the United States has absolute power within the Executive branch and absolute immunity for everything he defines as an official act of his office.

By appointing Burgum as the Interior Secretary and simultaneously the appointed energy-sector representative of the president, carrying the full weight and authority therein, there is no way for the institutional bureaucracy of the climate change officials inside the agency to block any changes decreed by President Trump within the mandate of the Energy Czar.

Secretary Burgum will sit at the top of the Dept of Interior organization, AND Czar Burgum will sit inside every agency, office, and subsidiary department that has anything to do with “American Energy” production/regulation.

A very strong power move. I like it.

Burgum would lead a new National Energy Council comprising all agencies and departments involved in the production, regulation and transportation of “ALL forms of American Energy.” … “This Council will oversee the path to U.S. ENERGY DOMINANCE by cutting red tape, enhancing private sector investments across all sectors of the Economy, and by focusing on INNOVATION over longstanding, but totally unnecessary, regulation.”
