Many Americans have no idea that Russia is an OPEC member.  Even fewer recognize that Russia’s primary economic export is energy via oil and gas.  Oil and gas exports drive the Russian economy.  Any U.S. policy that drives up the value of oil and gas directly enhances the economy and influence of Russia.

Thanks to Joe Biden’s specific energy policy shutting down U.S. energy exploration, Russia’s economy is booming and has made billions more in the sales of high priced oil and natural gas into Europe and the global marketplace.  That increased oil and gas revenue is directly responsible for Russia’s ability to expand militarily in the region.

So when it comes to threats, like Russia annexing even more of Ukraine as a strategic objective…. Joe Biden is strengthening Russia on one hand and threatening the strength of Russia with the other.  Russian President Vladimir Putin sees this with clear eyes.

Meanwhile the NATO partners who *claim* to be worried about Russia (they’re really not) are the same nations that are buying the oil and gas from Russia.   This was the ridiculous economic dynamic President Trump confronted when he challenged NATO on their energy and national security policies.   Tucker Carlson discusses this:

President Donald Trump was impeached under the false pretense of withholding military assistance from Ukraine (he never did).  Intelligence Community operative Lt. Col Alexander Vindman testified to congress that President Trump’s decision to pause military assistance to Ukraine was evidence of some suspicious relationship between President Trump and Russian President Putin….  The media proclaimed Trump was working to assist Russia because President Putin likely had pee tapes, or something.

Fast forward a little more than a year, Joe Biden meets with Putin, gets eviscerated and embarrassed by the diplomatic smack-down from the Russian President, and suddenly Joe Biden is freezing formerly approved military assistance for Ukraine….  IMPEACH !

WASHINGTON DC – The Biden White House has temporarily halted a military aid package to Ukraine that would include lethal weapons, a plan originally made in response to aggressive Russian troop movements along Ukraine’s border this spring.

The aid package would be worth up to $100 million, according to four people familiar with internal deliberations.

The National Security Council directed officials to put the package together, as Washington grew increasingly concerned over a massive Russian military buildup near the border with Ukraine and in the Crimean Peninsula, according to three of the people, who like the others asked not to be named in order to speak candidly about internal discussions. In May and June of 2020 Antifa and Black Lives Matter protestors were rioting all over Washington DC, attempting to destroy statues, looting businesses and lighting fires.  The Mayor of DC allowed the protestors space to destroy the city.  The epicenter of the left-wing rioting and violence was Lafayette park, across the street from the White House.

Thus began a major controversial narrative in June of last year as the media and democrats decried how the U.S. Park Police cleared protestors from Lafayette Park shortly before President Trump walked to St. John’s church.  The media shouted that President Trump told park police to fire tear gas into the crowd and dispurse the protesters in any manner or method.  However the report today [pdf here] shows President Trump had nothing to do with it.  It was all lies, all of it.

The DOJ Inspector General released a report reviewing all the events and found the decision to clear the park was made to clear the park of protestors several days before President Trump walked to St. Johns, and the White House had nothing to do with the decision.

From the Report: “The evidence we obtained did not support a finding that the USPP cleared the park to allow the President to survey the damage and walk to St. John’s Church. Instead, the evidence we reviewed showed that the USPP cleared the park to allow the contractor to safely install the antiscale fencing in response to destruction of property and injury to officers occurring on May 30 and 31.

Further, the evidence showed that the USPP did not know about the President’s potential movement until mid- to late afternoon on June 1—hours after it had begun developing its operational plan and the Fencing contractor had arrived in the park.”  (report pdf)

According to media reports federal authorities raided the New York apartment of Rudy Giuliani today.  Apparently electronic devices were seized as part of their investigation into him.  However, the DOJ motive behind the investigation is something everyone should be familiar with, Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA).

The corrupt and political agents at the DOJ, led by attorney Andrew Weissmann, have used FARA(951) violations to target their political opposition.  They attempted, and in some instances successfully used, FARA investigations and prosecutions against Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos, Carter Page, Walid Phares and others.

Former DOJ official Andrew Weissmann ran the FARA division of the DOJ-NSD specifically to use this approach as a political weapon.  However, notice he never went after any Democrats who were well documented to be lobbying while unregistered for foreign governments.  The Podesta brothers were two notorious lobbyists who were not registered and the DOJ looked the other way.

FARA violations being used as a backdoor justification for political targeting has long been the approach of a weaponized DOJ.  They are using that same tactic again in their effort to target Rudy Giuliani.

As Russia continues to build up troop presence near the Ukraine border, Joe Biden sent a warning to Vladimir Putin.  In response Russia told the U.S. to stay out of the Black Sea “for your own good” while they conduct exercises.  Biden turned back two U.S. navy ships….  Hours later Putin closed the Kerch Strait.

The Biden administration is attempting to give the illusion of strength but it is all an act and Russia knows it.   The Ukraine is vulnerable to Russian absorption because a large portion of the Ukrainian people support Russia.   NATO is attempting to issue threats, but Russia knows the EU, and specifically Germany, will do nothing except grasp their pearls.  It is all false bravado on the part of the NATO alliance; they have no teeth and their electorate have no desire for another conflict.

A Background Note –  Additional leverage Putin holds goes back to the Nordstream 2 gas pipeline to supply the energy needs of Germany.  German Chancellor Angela Merkel was warned by President Trump not to go forward with the pipeline that creates a geopolitical leverage for Russia.  Merkel went ahead despite the warnings, and adding salt to the issue, Germany never upheld their NATO funding commitments (2% of GDP).  This was a major source of contention between Trump and Merkel.

OANN – Joe Biden is withholding military aid from Ukraine that had already been approved by Congress in the face of Russian military maneuvers at its borders.

Biden will reportedly provide only $125 million to Ukraine this year, although Congress has already approved a $275 million package. White House officials said $150 million of that aid will be withheld until Ukraine conducts the reforms that Biden is asking for. (read more)

Russia will likely take military action against Ukraine.  NATO will once again clucth their proverbial pearls, and, quite frankly, no-one will care.  Biden’s woke foreign policy is Obama’s intentionally weak foreign policy.  The Obama people behind JoeBama will find a way to engage in some kind of war or military action as another purposeful distraction from the domestic agenda they are carrying out.

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, releases the following statement:

Last night Mr. Bobulinski held a press conference outlining his knowledge of presidential candidate Joe Biden being the recipient of payments/bribes from foreign governments through his son Hunter Biden’s arrangements with several entities.  Mr. Bobulinski noted he was willing to pass along the additional evidence in his possession to the FBI including his cell phones and electronic records.  Apparently that process is taking place.
