(CNSNews.com) – Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Tom Wheeler announced on Thursday that he intends to expand Lifeline, popularly known as the “Obama Phone” program, to the Internet.
“I am circulating new proposals to “reboot” Lifeline for the Internet age,” Wheeler wrote in a blog post on the FCC’s Website. He said the reboot would include “establishing minimum standards of service for voice and broadband,” in addition to subsidies for low-income consumers.
Lifeline is a government benefit program that provides a monthly subsidy of $9.95 on telephone service for those at or below 135 percent of the poverty line so they can connect to the nation’s communications networks, find jobs, access health care services, connect with family and their children’s schools, and call for help in an emergency. BREAKING – U.S. Marshals have arrested Eric Sheppard Jr., in Tampa Florida after a month long manhunt.  Sheppard was originally wanted for firearms violations, threats against students, and most recently terrorism threats specifically against white people in Georgia…. 
TAMPA, Fla. — The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Eric Sheppard was arrested in Tampa, Florida Thursday morning without incident.
Sheppard is widely known for stomping and walking on an American flag during a protest at Valdosta State University in April.
According to arrest records, 21-year-old Sheppard was arrested around 11:15 a.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Balfour Court in Tampa.
An arrest warrant had been out for Sheppard since deputies found a gun that belonged to him in a backpack on Valdosta State University’s campus in late April.
Sheppard had previously walked and stomped on an American flag on campus in protest. (more…)

The story of Ben Kruidbos (pronounced “Cried-Boss”) is a story of what happens when a man of integrity stands up against a legal authority built on corruption and political self-interest.

Yesterday a Florida Judge delivered a ruling, with extreme prejudice, against his former boss, State Attorney Angela Corey – thereby allowing a lawsuit filed by Ben to continue.

Those of you who followed the trial of George Zimmerman may remember Ben; those of you who are not familiar with the specifics might find a parallel to the current headlines of what is happening in Baltimore Maryland in the office of State Attorney Marilyn Mosby.

Ben Kruidbos was the Information Technology Director, the technology expert, within the office of the Jacksonville State Attorney Angela Corey ~Full Backstory~.  In his position he was charged with retrieving and reviewing the phone data contained in the cell phone of Trayvon Martin.

The office of Angela Corey held a vested interest in the content of Trayvon’s cell phone because, as we would later discover, the content therein showed how Trayvon’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, and his father, Tracy Martin, lied to state investigators about the details surrounding Trayvon’s activities prior to his encounter with George Zimmerman. On Tuesday April 28th, just two days prior to announcing charges against the Baltimore Six police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, Marilyn Mosby gave a speech where she stated: “so we will pursue, justice by any and all means necessary” (video segment @1:40):

On Wednesday April 29th Baltimore Police Chief Batts was told by sources from the State Attorney office that Mosby was going to make an announcement by the end of the week. To the surprise of the investigative team Batts gave Mosby’s office the investigative report on Thursday April 30th, even before it was completed.
The same urgency message was relayed to the city Medical Examiner.

[…] homicide investigators who were briefed by the medical examiner’s office believed the examiner’s autopsy report would likely find the cause of death to fall short of homicide. (link)

However, on the morning of Friday May 1st, the Medical Examiner signed off on a copy of his report and included the cause of death as “homicide”.   Oddly, labeling the death as “homicide” while simultaneously stating the “fatal injury occurred inside the transport van“.  (more…)

~ AGAIN, The Social Justice Crowd is Trying To Win By Losing ~

Earlier this week the DOJ lost an appeal to lift an injunction put in place by Judge Andrew Hanen, which blocks execution of President Obama’s Immigration Executive Action.  The injunction remains in place.
The DOJ had two options after their loss in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
♦ They could request a summary review by the U.S. Supreme Court (the 5th CCA district review SCOTUS justice is Antonin Scalia).  Or, ♦ they could ask for the entire panel of the 5th CCA to seat and hear full oral arguments.   The DOJ has chosen the latter.

The Hill is reporting the 5th Circuit has expedited the request and will hear oral arguments on July 10th, (written arguments previously filed with original judicial appeal).
Meanwhile, the DOJ will have to move forward on defending the merits of the underlying case which stems from a lawsuit filed by Texas, and joined by 26 other states, claiming the Obama Executive Action is an unconstitutional overreach of power, and therefore illegal.

You might find this interesting.   We continue to look at resource avenues to unearth the factual story of what took place in Waco Texas at the Twin Peaks restaurant.  Toward that end we reached out to a local reporter covering the entire story with some general communication and questions.
As a result of that contact the following excerpt is direct from them (emphasis mine):

…[…] Also, to be clear, according to my research, 18 PD officers were on scene but only 4 fired weapons. All of those officers are considered “involved”, even without having fired.

So the number of officers who are on administrative leave, pending customary investigation, includes more than just those who participated in the shots being fired.
Waco Spokesperson W. Patrick Swanton was previously quoted as stating:

[…]  In anticipation of possible problems, 14 Waco officers and four Texas Department of Public Safety troopers were positioned around the restaurant, where a coalition of biker groups planned to meet on Sunday.
The 14 officers involved in the gun battle are all now on administrative leave, which is standard protocol in officer-involved shootings, Swanton said.

A scathing expose’ by Megyn Kelly today, outlining much of our research on activist Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby, leads to Team Mosby claiming a “twitter hacking” and blocking visibility of Mosby’s earlier prejudicial video statements.

The video used in the segment was first shared here on May 4th, and highlights a speech Mosby gave at a Multicultural Prayer Movement.  The research thread was part one of a three part series outlining ‘Why Mosby Should Be Recused’.  Part II and III HERE
As soon as the Kelly File segment aired, that video was shut down and has now been made private.  However, Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller had already picked up the speech outline several weeks ago and copied the Mosby segment.  (available here)
