Freudian Slip? Airline employees charged with “Conspiracy to DEFRAUD the TSA”

Five airline employees have been charged in a sting operation with using their security clearances to secretly smuggle more than $400,000 in cash through Boston’s Logan Airport.

Four ground operations crew members of JetBlue Airways and one Delta Air Lines customer service ramp agent were arrested Thursday on charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to defraud the Transportation Security Administration.

(Note:  Not conspiracy to “subvert” the TSA but the specific legal verbiage chosen was “defraud”) (more…)

NO…Don’t “Tell Me” anymore: NPR cancels race-based program because of lack of interest

Another Prog vanity project swirls down the drain …. glug, glug, glug …..

According to the NY Post, NPR has cancelled its racial issues  show “Tell Me More” due to lack of interest and any real audience or meaningful corporate sponsorship. (!)

obamaracecardThe show, which ran on the taxpayer subsidized radio network for seven years (As an aside, can you think of any other event that happened, oh, about seven years ago, coincidentally timed to the launch of a radio show based on lecturing/hectoring white people about “race” that may have had some influence over an organization that depends upon generous federal government financial support for survival? Remember to write your answer in the form of a question!)

“Tell Me More”,  produced at the NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C.  was a production of NPR News in association with the African American Public Radio Consortium, representing 20 independent public radio stations that serve predominantly black communities.  (more…)

"IF I HAD A SON" – Jack Cashill discusses his examination of the Trayvon Martin case on C-Span's Book TV

Independent journalist Jack Cashill discusses his examination of the Trayvon Martin shooting/George Zimmerman case (“If I had a son: Race, Guns and the railroading of George Zimmerman”) at a forum held at the Platte County Resource Center in Kansas City, Missouri and televised on C-Span’s “Book TV”.
The entire discussion is about 1 hr  and 15 minutes long.  He opens up the discussion of his book about the Trayvon Martin shooting by laying down the foundation for the Progressive/Communist Agitprop history of politicizing non-political criminal cases for the advancement of the Socialist agenda, starting with the Sacco/Vanzetti case in the 1920’s.  It is a worthwhile listen for those who don’t have a full appreciation that the techniques used by the Progressives in the Trayvon Martin drama were from an old, old playbook.

Author Jack Cashill discusses the George Zimmerman trial and the “Skittles – Hoodie – Gated Community” narrative that was created around the Trayvon Martin shooting by the Agit-Prop artists.

“Agit Prop … it worked, then, it works now … When did the worm turn ….  the liberal self-image, when did that stop being true?…
…When did it become okay to accuse an innocent man to advance the narrative?…  It is another thing all together to plead for the guilt of an innocent man…
…The search for the Great White Defendant hasn’t gone away….”

Venezuela Outlaws Protest Without Express Government Permission, Moves To Direct Socialist Indoctrination In All Schools – I Missed This On CNNi.. No, Wait… Wha…

For some reason this continuing saga of socialist oppression seems to have escaped the mainstream media…. Sean Penn unavailable for comment (?)

(From PanAm Post Via WeaselZippers) Peaceful protests in Venezuela will from now on require express authorization from the mayor or the governor of the jurisdiction where they are carried out. The Supreme Court (TSJ) made this decision yesterday, declaring that the right to protest “is not an absolute right.”

Police forces will now be legally allowed to disperse people who shut down a street to voice their complaints. Also, the attorney General will be allowed to prosecute unauthorized protestors for disobedience.
The TSJ considered it is imperative to “guarantee the right to free movement,” which would justify dispersing any unauthorized congregation. According to the ruling, written by Judge Arcadio Delgado, local police forces have “an obligation to cooperate with the rest of the security forces in maintaining public order during the illegal exercise of the right to protest.” (more…)

What's In A Name?

Sometimes all it takes is a glance at someone’s youthful photo to grasp that certain je ne sais quoi that made them famous.  Other times fame needs a nepotistic kick in the pants. In young Jeremy’s case, I’m guessing it was the later.

Recap: The wave of homegrown violence against the US military isn't new, and it's always been from the Left

The AWCCM (Angry White Conservative Christian Male) – Media myth, or reality?

The official narrative, of course, is that “violence”, and especially “gun violence” is the provence of  “Angry White Male Conservative Christians”.  This is a meme the Prog-enthralled media repeat over and over again. Wash, lather, rinse, repeat.
So, let’s do a little recap, shall we?
In March of 2008, conservative columnist and commenter Michelle Malkin did an admirable job highlighting the long history of “anti-War”, “anti-Military” acts of violence (in most examples, specifically targeting military recruiters working in the civilian community) intended to inflict terror which specifically had its genesis in the far Left.

Former senator Simpson on Obama: “Don’t expect anything good for America until this guy is gone”

“Don’t expect anything good for America until this guy is gone …….”

h/t to Doug Ross aka Director Blue

Doug Ross @ Journal has published a first hand account of a conversation a docent at the Bush Center Library had with former Senator Alan Simpson (R), co-author of the Simpson-Bowles commission report recommending fiscal reform legislation, on the outspoken former Senator’s impressions based on first-hand dealings with Barack Hussein Obama.

What is best for BHO is more important than what is best for America. Always. Every time.

“….I spent the next 15 minutes (just the two of us) listening to him expound on his view of our future. His first answer was that with this president we will never make progress. He then related a story that when Bowles and Simpson requested time with the president to urge him to seriously consider their report, he was stunned by the response (as was Bowles).

Deconstructing Excellence – Bill de Blasio Shutters 3 Charter Schools, Evicts Hundreds Of Kids From Their Schools – Unions Cheer !

fist pump first fam

GO BILL !!

deblasio9New York – Mayor de Blasio brought down the hammer Thursday on three charter schools operated by nemesis Eva Moskowitz, leaving hundreds of kids without classrooms this fall.

“This has to be the saddest day for the Success Academy’s children, family, teachers, school leaders,” Moskowitz said after meeting with stunned charter parents in Harlem.

“Right now, our kids are being evicted. Evicted out of their school. It’s wrong and we need an explanation. You’re going to have to ask Mayor Deblasio what the motivations are for a decision that will hurt so many children now and, frankly, forever.”

USA Today Catching Up? – Americans rising up against government

USA TODAY – America’s ruling class has been experiencing more pushback than usual lately. It just might be a harbinger of things to come.

912-teaparty-dc-09First, in response to widespread protests last week, the Department of Homeland Security canceled plans to build a nationwide license plate database. Many local police departments already use license-plate readers that track every car as it passes traffic signals or pole-mounted cameras. Specially equipped police cars even track cars parked on the street or even in driveways.

The DHS put out a bid request for a system that would have gone national, letting the federal government track millions of people’s comings and goings just as it tracks data about every phone call we make. But the proposal was suddenly withdrawn last week, with the unconvincing explanation that it was all a mistake. I’m inclined to agree with TechDirt’s Tim Cushing, who wrote: “The most plausible explanation is that someone up top at the DHS or ICE suddenly realized that publicly calling for bids on a nationwide surveillance system while nationwide surveillance systems are being hotly debated was … a horrible idea.” (more…)
