Candidate Donald Trump had an incredible set of victories on Super Tuesday 2.0 with victories in North Carolina, Illinois, Missouri and Florida.  Candidate Donald Trump has now effectively swept the south.

However, the results from Florida, especially Florida, provide an excellent example of the strength of Trump’s coalition and the scope of what’s possible in a general election.

Florida is a melting pot of regional migration from all corners of the U.S.   Indeed, there’s a joke in Florida about how there’s no real home-team sports because the residents are from everywhere else in America, cheering for their old home team.

A native Floridian is a scarce breed, that’s why they’ve historically been called “Florida Crackers“.  Named from the original Florida settlers who used whips to herd cattle and cut through the palmettos and bladed saw-grass, with a resounding “crack” from the knotted end.

Additionally if you were to overlay the size of Florida geographically on a map you’d find it would cover the entire U.S. eastern seaboard from Georgia all the way to New York city.  At over 800 miles tip to stem Florida is a massive state with transplanted residents from all of the other states within the continental republic. Two days ago – two men, actually two professional antagonists, showed up wearing armbands supposedly ‘spoofing‘ Donald Trump with Nazi comparisons.  However, things were not as they seemed.

The men who wore armbands touting Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump were actually the same pranksters who sported “Settle for Hillary” shirts at a Hillary Clinton event earlier this year.

Frauke Petry, who leads the Eurosceptic party, has suggested German border guards should open fire on illegal immigrants.

Hopefully the good people of Ohio will recognize what the appearance of Mitt Romney on stage with Governor John Kasich exemplifies.  The cocktail class republicans are desperate to remain in power – by any means necessary.

Governor John Kasich is not on the ballot in most of Illinois districts.  Kasich also did not qualify for the Pennsylvania ballot.  He didn’t qualify in 2015 because initially his usefulness to the GOPe grand plan was supposed to be splitting the ballot in Ohio to the benefit of Jeb Bush.   Kasich’s willingness to go along with such a deceptive scheme should tell you all you need to know about where his loyalties are.

BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) – Serbia’s authorities are investigating reports that a cargo package bound for the U.S. containing two missiles with explosive warheads was found on a passenger flight from Lebanon to Serbia.

N1 television said the package with two guided armor-piercing missiles was discovered Saturday by a sniffer dog after an Air Serbia flight from Beirut landed at Belgrade airport.

Serbian media say documents listed the final destination for the AGM-114 Hellfire missiles as Portland, Oregon. The American-made projectiles can be fired from air, sea or ground platforms. (more…)

A Donald Trump rally took a dramatic turn Saturday when a thug Named Tom Dimassimo (details below) tried to rush the state behind the GOP frontrunner.  Secret Service agents tackled Dimassimo and simultaneously formed a wall around Donald Trump:

Campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks said “a man at the Dayton, Ohio, event attempted to breach the secure buffer and was removed rapidly and professionally.”

The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Thomas Dimassimo, was charged with disorderly conduct and inducing panic — both misdemeanors, according to NBC News. (more…)
