Today the political landscape just became infinitely more interesting. In order to understand the current landscape, and simultaneously explain what it means, we must weave in and out of history because this tripwire alert needs reference points.
At the most basic of level we must remember candidate Marco Rubio was never supposed to be the GOPe’s standard bearer for the professional republican party. It simply was not his role.
A single-term, 44-year-old, freshman senator, with a wife, four kids, no accumulated wealth and no executive experience, does not independently mount a long-shot bid to become the chief executive office holder amid the power-elites who run the highest political offices.
Rubio was/is ‘a means’ – to an end. Rubio does not represent the end goal, he never did.
This is a point we have continually referenced since early 2014. This point surrounds the transparency of motive for a Marco Rubio run for the presidency. He is, quite simply, the least qualified candidate on the GOPe team.
Rubio was also the most severely non-vetted candidate that could ever enter the race. – example here – Knowing and accepting that fact, Rubio’s role in the original plan made a lot more sense.
In October 2013 through February 2014 when the constructs were designed, the reason for Rubio’s enlistment was to act as a necessary part of the campaign to deliver the Florida electoral fulcrum, the 99 Florida delegates. The republican party apparatus changing the primary date and distribution of those delegates (winner-take-all) was the visible second tripping of the Rubio tripwire which evidenced the GOPe roadmap’s validity. Tonight the tenth GOP primary season debate takes place in Houston Texas. CNN is hosting the debate along with Telemundo and Salem Communications. The debate is taking place University of Houston’s Moores Opera Center, an 800-seat venue.
Wolf Blitzer will be the primary debate moderator, and questions will come from Hugh Hewitt (Salem Communications mouthpiece – and Rubio Supporter), CNN’s Dana Bash, and also notably Telemundo’s Maria Celeste Arraras who will try to frame Trump as a bigoted racist (per those closest to her).

The line-up is: (from left to right facing the stage): Dr Ben Carson, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Donald Trump (center), Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
When the professional pundits and the chattering class speak of Marco Rubio possibly winning Florida they are completely oblivious to reality. Floridians have a very specific disdain for Marco Rubio based on his self-serving backstabbing of his own constituency. The anger is personal, deep, widespread and will never go away.
Forget Senator Rubio. Marco Rubio doesn’t stand a chance in Florida, he won’t even carry his own home county because he’s never there. This latest Quinnipiac poll (full pdf below) merely confirms what is obvious to those who live there and talk to their neighbors. This sentiment is top of state to bottom, and coast to coast.

However, what is even more amazing than the weakness of Rubio and strength of Trump, is when you ask evangelicals who they would NEVER SUPPORT…. they say, Ted Cruz. This is absolute affirmation of what we’ve continually pointed out as the non-discussed flaw in Cruz’s overall campaign. (more…)
Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney is going “full Mississippi” with claims about Donald Trump’s taxes. It doesn’t matter that there is no basis for the ridiculous assertions – the truth and/or facts are not what matters when you go “full Mississippi”…. it’s a strategy!

The absolute worst thing Donald Trump could do is to respond to it. Responding to the provocation is exactly what they want. Dismiss it like you would swat an annoying gnat.
Mitt Romney – “The reason that I think there’s a bombshell in there is because every time he’s asked about his taxes he dodges and delays and says, ‘Well we’re working on it,'” Romney told Fox News.
“We’re now, you know, in late February and we still haven’t seen either Donald Trump’s or Marco Rubio’s or Ted Cruz’s taxes,” he added, referring to the two US senators challenging Trump for the nomination.
“Frankly the voters have a right to see those tax returns before they decide who our nominee ought to be.” (link)
There is a specific reason why Mitt Romney is saying this. There is also a specific reason why this specific reason, income taxes, is being used. Here’s what’s going on. (more…)
When little known Chris McDaniel beat entrenched republican senator Thad Cochran in the first Mississippi primary of 2014 it triggered a series of events that became known simply as “Mississippi ’14“.

The entrenched DC republican elite developed a plan to destroy McDaniel before the run-off primary. They decided to call McDaniel a racist, pay for print and broadcast attack ads, request help from black Mississippi pastors, and pay Democrats, preachers and voters to vote in the run-off election. Republicans in DC attacking a republican outsider.
Their Machiavellian plan worked. In the run-off Chris McDaniel again beat Thad Cochran with republican voters, but the paid-to-vote Democrats lifted Cochran back onto the throne in the elite Republican Chamber.
Against the desperation of a South Carolina victory for Donald Trump, and now a Nevada victory for Donald Trump, the DC Republican team have re-enlisted the exact same players to roll out a similar nuclear attack approach against the ‘outsider republican’. (more…)
Marcobot, the heavily scripted robotic candidate and current favorite of the professional political class, had another malfunction last night during the Bill O’Reilly interview. Mr. O’Reilly asked if presidential candidate Marco Rubio was willing to deport the illegal aliens, or those who overstay their visas’, and stay in the U.S. illegally.
Watch:
Fox owner, Mr. Rupert Murdoch, will not be happy. Neither will Fox’s Political News Executive, Bill Sammon. His daughter is Marco Rubio’s press secretary.
No need to expand with commentary – the FEC filing speaks for itself.
Read it and pay attention to the familiar names in the attachments:

Hardly anyone pays close enough attention to politicians, legislative constructs, inner working machinations, and the attached agenda/intent, as would be needed to fully grasp what is going on. How could the casual follower possibly understand? It is an overwhelmingly challenging task even for those engaged 24/7/365.
As a consequence it should come as no surprise to find politicians who are skilled at maneuvering around sunlight and keeping their supporters in the dark. The very best of them, like Senator Cruz, are exceptionally well versed in the dark arts of deception.

Senator Cruz is not ‘Robert the Bruce’, he’s far more cunning. When you combine his honed and sharpened sword with the forged shield of religion (and also accept the severity of his training) you recognize him as an adversary able to lead good people in wrong directions.
Convincing Cruz supporters of this truth is an almost impossible task. Hence, we have repeatedly said not to even try, just let them awaken on their own. However, that said, there are times when the sunlight needs to penetrate; when urgency becomes vital. We are closely approaching that phase.
We are nearing the cusp…. final attempts are warranted. (more…)
After spending so much time following the internecine machinations of the professional DC scheme throughout 2014, it is a prudent and necessary duty to leave a footnote for the exit of Jeb Bush.
In the aggregate, we’ve probably spent more time defending the various Bush’s than framing their flaws, faults and self-interests. Indeed, I’ve personally defended Dubya more than most from a re-writing of specific historical events. However, there is a certain issue which deserves to be folded neatly into the recently closing chapter.

Any favorable opinion of the Bush Clan which -justified or not- was previously held, is now a long and distant memory. The 2013 decision to run Jeb Bush for president of the United States in the election of 2016 has proven the historic detractors were entirely correct.
There has never been a more selfish or self-serving decision made by a top-tier political group of insiders, than for the Bush Clan to promote Jeb Bush knowing full well the electorate wanted nothing to do with another Bush candidacy. (more…)
