Fox Affirms The Benghazi Brief – “The Arming Of Benghazi”…

It has been a year since we first posted the full 11,000 word Benghazi Brief, explaining the soup to nuts events of what happened from February 2011 up to September 11th 2012.   Many people have wondered why the Mainstream Media have not picked up the story.

It has been a slow process of sunlight crossing the treetops, but Fox News has just affirmed the content with their new story:  “The Arming of Benghazi” – excerpts below.

(Via Fox Business)  The United States supported the secret supply of weapons to Libyan rebels while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State according to federal court documents obtained by Fox News.

In a sworn declaration to the District Court of Arizona May 5th 2015, a career CIA officer David Manners said, “It was then, and remains now, my opinion that the United States did participate, directly or indirectly, in the supply of weapons to the Libyan Transitional National Council.”   The timing matters because in the Spring of 2011 the Libyan opposition was not formally recognized, and the direct supply of arms was not authorized. At that time, the CIA Director was David Petraeus. (DAVID MANNERS DOCUMENT HERE)

Manners testified before a grand jury investigating American defense contractor Marc Turi who faces trial this September on two counts that he allegedly violated the arms control export act by making false statements. (more…)

Wonder Why Obama ISIS Policy Is Failing In Iraq? Watch Him Ignore The Iraqi President At The G7…

HatTip WeaselZippers who sharesPresident Obama was speaking with Italian PM Mario Renzi and Christine Lagarde, President of the International Monetary Fund. The Iraqi President Haider al-Abadi approached, clearly hoping to talk with Obama, sitting down right next to him. Obama continued his discussion with the others not acknowledging Abadi.
Obama and the others then stood up, and Abdadi stood as well, hoping to catch Obama’s attention, but Obama simply turned and walked away. Abdi and his translator then walk off, looking annoyed.

Meanwhile Obama admitted today he had “no complete strategy” for training Iraqis to deal with ISIS.  Maybe talking with the leadership would actually help…

Bowe Bergdahl's First Hearing Pushed Back….

A cynically minded person might be inclined to think the White House is strategically trying to position the hearing a far distance from the release of the Gitmo 5 detainees so that juxtapositions cannot be drawn.  Nah, couldn’t be...
bowe bergdahl fabulous(Via Stars and Stripes) The Army says it has pushed back the date for a preliminary hearing for Bowe Bergdahl, the sergeant who left his post in Afghanistan and was held by the Taliban for five years.
Bergdahl is charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.
His hearing had been scheduled for July 8.
But the Army says that at the request of Bergdahl’s lawyers, the hearing was put off until Sept. 17 at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston in Texas. (more…)

They Are Free To Travel On Monday – The GITMO 5

The GITMO 5 will be free to travel the world on Monday; their year in Qatar completed.
The primary aspect the media avoids discussing, is how President Obama violated the law with the release by not notifying congress in advance.

The Pentagon was found to have “violated” the 2014 Department of Defense Appropriations Act “when it transferred five individuals detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to the nation of Qatar without providing at least 30 days notice to certain congressional committees,” according to the report.

Now, a year has passed, Sgt.  Bergdahl has been charged with desertion, and the GITMO terrorists are almost free.
Gitmo detainees released 2
WASHINGTON DC – Five senior Taliban leaders released last year from the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl could move freely around the world next week as their one-year travel ban expires.
The five detainees were sent to Qatar where government officials agreed to monitor their activities and prevent them from traveling out of the country under the terms of the May 2014 exchange. Bergdahl, who had been held captive by the Taliban for nearly five years after walking away from his Army post in Afghanistan, was released to the U.S. military.
He recently was charged with desertion. (more…)

Memorial Day 2015

Memorial Day is a day of reverence.
Memorial Day is a day of solemn remembering; and Memorial Day is a day of thankfulness for those who have given their lives in the cause of freedom; our freedom.

Memorial Day is separate and apart from any other day – in that we secure this day to remind ourselves how significant a cost is the price of freedom.
Memorial Day is a day we pay our deepest respects to those who died to provide it.
