I’ve been reading articles for years now about energy initiatives in Great Britain, in a politically-motivated effort to force green energy on the citizens of the British Isles.

The original Russian Vessel now abandoned, stuck in the ice;  the Chinese rescue vessel now abandoned, stuck in the ice;  the Glo-bull scientists are transferred to ship #3 an Australian Ice-Breaker.
CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — An Australian icebreaker carrying 52 passengers who were retrieved from an icebound ship in the Antarctic resumed its journey home on Saturday, leaving behind another two icebreakers trapped in pack ice.

The Aurora Australis will continue its interrupted resupply mission to Australia’s Antarctic base Casey Station before returning to the Australian island state of Tasmania in mid-January with the rescued scientists, journalists and tourists.
It had been slowly cracking through thick ice toward open water after a Chinese ship’s helicopter on Thursday plucked the passengers from their stranded Russian research ship and carried them to an ice floe near the Australian ship. But on Friday afternoon, the crew of the Chinese icebreaker that had provided the helicopter said they were worried about their own ship’s ability to move through the ice. (more…)

They left a Russian ship (leased by Australians) which was stuck in the ice, via helicopter, and were ferried to a Chinese ship (leased by more Australians) for evacuation.
Now they all sit on the Chinese Ship “The Snow Dragon” which is,….
…. wait for it,….. 

…… also stuck in the ice. 

(Via Telegraph) A ship which was used to rescue by helicopter 52 people from a trapped Antarctic   ship has now found itself in need of rescue – after it got stuck in   heavy ice.

The Green Ice Trackers, who were studying the scope of Antarctic sea ice, are stuck in the Ice because the Antarctic sea ice has grown too large to escape; the ice is at record breaking magnitudes.    Two rescue attempts have failed.  The ship will have to be abandoned and scientists rescued by Helicopter.

The Antarctic sea ice has never been as vast as currently recorded.  But the daily humor is inside the reporting the scientists are making while stuck in the record breaking ice.   “Sea Ice Is Shrinking Due To Global Warming“….   D’oh ! Pay no attention to the record breaking stuff around us…  it’s shrinking,… swear.

No, this is not a spoof – it’s an actual news story.   There are many people in Iceland who take their belief in Elves very seriously.
Very seriously.

The Nordic island’s “Huldufolk” or “hidden folk” affect construction plans so regularly that the road and coastal administration has come up with a stock media response for elf inquiries.
It reads: “Issues have been settled by delaying the construction project at a certain point while the elves living there have supposedly moved on.”

You have probably seen multiple written accounts, stories and publish articles, recently about a growing international backlash.   This stems from revelations that under the specific direction of President Obama  the NSA (National Security Agency) has been spying upon a growing contingent of international leaders. 
Our allies are furious with the NSA for spying on them and their respective leaders.   Consequently U.S. credibility and trust has been deconstructed.
Indeed, by recent count the list of Allied Western nations rising in open opposition to President Obama, and his administration, stands around 35.  That’s THIRTY FIVE.
It is against that bold and visible backdrop we wish to draw back your attention.

In July of 2012, during his Term-two presidential bid, President Obama gave a speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention in Reno, Nevada. His speech was specifically constructed to outline his accomplishments:

What if you turned on the television and suddenly there were no more countdown clocks….no more talking heads discussing doomsday scenarios predicting a crippling government default?  How many of us can even remember looking forward to being entertained and informed when we sat down after a hard day’s work? 
I came to a sudden realization this past weekend as I watched countless numbers of veterans take back their monuments in D.C.   Veterans who stormed beaches, fought in jungles, and endured desert heat thought nothing of a few hastily erected “Barry-cades”.  Many of these veterans, most now in their nineties, weren’t going to be stopped by Obama any more than they were by countless other autocrats.   I’m going to take a lesson from them….and stop being told what I have to fear.

Side Question:  How come the media has stopped using the word WMD now that President Obama is in office?   Oh well,…..

Some things are more reflective than others.   A famous person once said: those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it, or something similar.   Well, this is one Obama Administration repetition worth highlighting.

On Wednesday of last week the United Nations Security Council held an emergency meeting to discuss the recent chemical attacks being witnessed in Syria.   Those chemical and/or biological attacks have been a great source of international attention and concern.
However, our U.N. Ambassador, Samantha Power, was conspicuously absent from the Security Council meeting.   The Administration was questioned, and the White House mysteriously avoided answering where she was.   Why was the United States not present during the meeting?   Where was Samantha Power?
Today it is reported she missed the meeting in order to attend a Charlie Chaplin Film Festival.   No joke, this is the real reason.   It sure explains why the White House was dodging the question and refused to answer.
