Last night was a Donald Trump win, period.  A YUGE win.  For context: Donald Trump beat second place, John Kasich, by more votes (currently 51,000) than Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton (currently 50,000).

A resounding victory for the vulgarian rebel alliance. Today, rejoice, dance well, be of good cheer and enjoy.

However, come sunrise we meet at the old mill, and ride south.

What does last night mean for the GOPe road map?  That’s where it gets interesting.

Forget John Kasich;  he is irrelevant as an individual candidate.  Kasich has no organization, no structural pathway, no ballot access and is not a national candidate.  However, his future endorsement of the GOPe candidate (Rubio or Bush) does bring with it his NH delegates…. but that is all.

The biggest loser is also one of our biggest loses, Governor Chris Christie.   By coming in sixth, Christie has failed to make the cut for the upcoming CBS debate.

Debate Qualifications: Top three finish in Iowa, or Top five finish in New Hampshire, or top five polling nationally or in South Carolina.  (link)

In addition to the debate issues and a financial hurdle, the sixth place finish essentially eliminates any path for Chris Christie.   [Team Marco Rubio collectively breathe a sigh of relief.]  However, with Christie gone – Jeb Bush also loses a key strategic partner for his own electoral pathway forward. Regardless of the outcome in the New Hampshire primary any and every “professionally Republican political candidate” needs to be removed.  Most Americans now refuse to be co-dependents to our own demise.

I speak for myself, and only myself.  However, I hope you will indulge these considerations and correct me where I’m going wrong.

On December 23rd 2009 Harry Reid passed a version of Obamacare through forced vote at 1:30am. The Senators could not leave, and for the two weeks previous were kept in a prolonged legislative session barred returning to their home-state constituencies. It was, by all measures and reality, a vicious display of forced ideological manipulation of the upper chamber. I share this reminder only to set the stage for what was to follow.

Riddled with anxiety we watched the Machiavellian manipulations unfold, seemingly unable to stop the visible usurpation. Desperate for a tool to stop the construct in December 2009 we found Scott Brown and rallied to deliver $7 million in funding, and a “Kennedy Seat” victory on January 19th 2010. (more…)

Mexico’s former president Felipe Calderon recently responded to Donald Trump’s border wall proposal by stating:

…The Mexican people, we are not going to pay any single cent for such a stupid wall! And it’s going to be completely useless… (link)

Why now?

Why would Calderon make such a claim at this specific moment in time?  Well, here’s a report that will answer that question.

(Mexico) Remittances sent home by Mexicans working outside the country surpassed petroleum revenues in 2015 for the first time.   There was a 4.75% increase in money sent from abroad, most of which comes from the U.S., to total US $24.8 billion last year, up from $23.6 billion in 2014, said the Bank of México.

The bank said it was the first time remittances had totaled more than petroleum revenues since it began tracking them in 1995.   Oil revenues last year totaled $23.4 billion.

An important factor in the increase in remittances is the jobs created by economic recovery in the U.S.   Some 11 million Mexicans are believed to be living in the U.S. and many work in construction. Remittances, 97% of which are sent electronically, averaged $292 last year. (link)

Yes, you read that correctly. Immigrant remittances received by Mexico have surpassed Mexico’s $23.4 billion in oil earnings.  This means the government of Mexico is more dependent than ever on the earnings of maids and gardeners in the U.S. to keep itself afloat. This is the leverage Donald Trump talks about to pressure Mexico to pay for the border wall. (more…)

Immediately after interviewing Marco Rubio, she brings in who?  Wait for it… wait for it….  Yep, Governor Chris Christie.   Watch:

The laughable portion is when Chris Christie points out to Kelly (@01:00) that he knows she is using canned Christie footage provided by the Marco Rubio campaign.  Kelly tries to claim the footage did not come from Rubio, but the pearl clutching is just too much. The transparency of the Fox/Kelly agenda is ridiculous.

But seriously, this would make sense for Wall Street if the global financial interests think Donald Trump will win the GOP nomination.   Hillary is seriously damaged goods, Bernie is a socialist – and Wall Street always hedges their best interests.

(CNN) — Michael Bloomberg says he is considering running for president of the United States, a move that would dramatically shake up an already chaotic 2016 race.

In an interview with Financial Times, the media mogul and former New York City mayor said he was “looking at all the options” when asked about a possible bid.

“I’m listening to what candidates are saying and what the primary voters appear to be doing,” Bloomberg said, adding that he would need to add his name on ballots by early March in order to stage a serious campaign.

The billionaire also issued his most damning indictment of the current campaigns to date.
