The insufferable Cavuto made the mistake of asking White House Manufacturing and Policy Advisor Peter Navarro if he “trusts China”?   Well, Navarro immediately responds with his description of China’s “four kills”, so it’s safe to put Navarro in the no column.

(1) China created the virus, possibly in a bioweapons lab;  (2) China hid the virus from the world while seeding the planet with infected travelers; (3) while downplaying the virus through the WHO, China was simultaneously gathering up all PPE from around the world; (4) after they hoarded all PPE China then profiteers by selling at massively inflated prices.

China is asshoe.

National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow appears on Fox Business to discuss more details about reopening the U.S. economy.  As Kudlow shares if we advance Main Street policies to generate economic expansion there will likely be much less need for any financial recovery package.  We cannot spend our way out of the problem.

Providing tax relief and incentives for manufacturing and business investment in the U.S. is one way to generate faster growth and recover jobs without direct spending.

In a supplement to the defense motion to dismiss [pdf here] we discover some of the evidence of prosecutorial misconduct turned over by the DOJ to the Flynn defense. Specifically Lt. General Michael Flynn’s plea was based on a threat against Michael Flynn Jr. if his father didn’t sign the plea.  This will very likely get the plea dismissed.

Because the exhibits had to be filed under seal, they are heavily redacted; however, Flynn’s defense counsel, Sidney Powell, has asked the court to release & unredact the full content of the exhibits so the world can see the coercion behind the corrupt plea agreement.

The Mueller prosecution team lead by Brandon Van Grack put the agreement and threat in writing, but they also made a deal with the former defense team to hide the terms in an effort to cover-up their misconduct.  Coercion to force a plea is unethical and unlawful.

A very interesting development that could prove to be quite important.  Today Michael Flynn’s counsel received a letter from the DOJ notifying his defense the Missouri U.S. Attorney, who was brought in to review all of the evidence in the case, has delivered new evidence and information on the case filed under seal.  Here’s the letter:

Further reporting from Sean Davis at the Federalist gives some background on the sealed evidence that indicates the provided information is exculpatory.  According to Davis’s sources the internal investigative documents “will reflect poorly on the FBI.”

Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia appears with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the skyrocketing unemployment claims and catastrophic level of unemployed workers. Secretary Scalia says there is more reason for optimism in recovery than in past downturns because the coronavirus is a health crisis, not an underlying economic problem.

Earlier today National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow appeared on Fox Business with Lou Dobbs to discuss congress renewing funding for the small business and payroll protection program.   Kudlow estimates current unemployment at more than sixteen percent (16.3%).

When questioned about potential changes to our economic system, financial system and potential increases in taxes, Kudlow gets energized and jumps on the table to talk about the Main Street MAGA program. Focus on blue-collar, focus on the middle-class, let’s get manufacturing moved back into the United States and re-energize the economy….

No-one is allowed to leave the DNC plantation, ever!

Michigan Democrats are apoplectic that State Representative Karen Whitsett credited President Trump for her coronavirus recovery earlier in the month with praise for his support for hydroxychloroquine.  Making the issue even worse for the party of authoritarian control Mrs. Whitsett is black, and thinking for herself.

As a direct result, the Michigan Democrat party is planning to censure Rep. Whitsett and formerly ban anyone from the Democrat party from endorsing President Trump; or they will face total financial and structural ostracization from the party.

MICHIGAN – Detroit Democrats plan to vote Saturday to censure and bar any future endorsements of a Democratic lawmaker who credited President Donald Trump with advocating for the drug that she said cured her of COVID-19.

State Rep. Karen Whitsett, D-Detroit, broke protocol by meeting with President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence during an April 14 meeting of COVID-19 survivors, during which she credited hydroxychloroquine for saving her life.

Another painful week as the Dept. of Labor provides the latest data on jobs and the economy. For the week ending April 18, an additional 4.427 million Americans filed unemployment claims.

Over the past five weeks, more than 26 million Americans have filed unemployment insurance claims.

U.S. Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia issued the following statement:

“Today’s unemployment report shows continued, elevated unemployment claims caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The Department of Labor is continuing to provide guidance and support to the States as they implement the enhanced unemployment benefits under the CARES Act, with 44 States now paying the $600 additional weekly benefit provided by the Act.”

“The Department also continues to implement the paid leave requirements of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, and has now initiated hundreds of cases to ensure workers receive what they’re entitled to under the law. As American businesses look to open up again under the guidelines presented by the White House last week, the Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration will continue to provide guidance and support to protect workers and ensure safe workplaces, backed up as necessary by appropriate use of OSHA’s enforcement authorities.”  (LINK)
