(Via Fox News) Friday night, during her last show on Fox News, Megyn Kelly asked former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Pete Hoekstra whether he accepted the conclusion by 17 intelligence agencies in a recently released declassified report that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and that this interference came at the direction of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Hoekstra gave an answer Kelly did not anticipate.  He noted that the declassified report represents the views of only three intelligence agencies, not seventeen. Hoekstra also questioned why the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) did not co-author or clear the report and why it lacked dissenting views.

VPE Mike Pence briefly spoke to members of the praetorian press as he was leaving Trump Tower in New York earlier this evening.   Pence spoke about the Jihadist attack in Fort Lauderdale and about the intelligence debrief he and President-Elect Trump received earlier in the day.

No-one amid all current tentacles and story lines is at a higher risk from a President-Elect Donald Trump full public vetting of the intelligence community than former Obama CIA Director Leon Panetta.

When President Obama signed the original 2011 ‘finding memo’ authorizing covert CIA action in Libya it was Leon Panetta who carried it out.  Both the Libyan intervention and the initial Syrian intervention were joint White House regime change operations began during Hillary Clinton’s tenure.  Leon Panetta and Hillary Clinton were both carrying out Obama’s policy.
However, once things collapsed in Libya, and Chris Stephens was killed, Leon Panetta did not carry the same escape cards afforded to Clinton and the White House.  Panetta’s ability to escape unscathed was always further down the list of protected personages.
In the aftermath of Benghazi Panetta has carried that risk for years.  If the DC intelligence community stopped kicking the can down the road, or if the DC intelligence community were blocked from kicking that can (Trump), it has always been accepted that Leon Panetta would be the last man standing in a game of deadly political dodge ball.
Hence, there he sits today in an interview with Wolf Blitzer, visibly sweating bullets, hoping and praying the incoming administration will not sunlight his swamp.

This is so ridiculous, the light from where ridiculous lives wouldn’t catch up to this media nonsense for a year.  Kellyanne Conway deserves a medal for putting up with this insufferable insanity.  Then again, the Trump team is willingly putting themselves into this ridiculous propaganda, so…
It’s jaw-dropping how far the media is willing to go, CNN specifically, in their efforts to push a “vast Russian conspiracy” to protect Hillary Clinton and avoid facing the loss of an election.

The real irony is the James Clapper declassified DNI report (released today) focuses 80% of it’s conclusions on the basis of Russian media influence creating negative American opinion of Hillary Clinton….. Meanwhile, almost every scintilla of U.S. media coverage has been an effort to create a positive opinion toward Hillary Clinton.
In essence, the U.S. media just can’t believe their own irrelevance and inability to influence.  Therefore, Russians.  Gottabe.

You just can’t make this stuff up.

In 2015 we predicted if Donald Trump won the 2016 election, the Southern Border and Security Wall would not only happen as a construct of following through on a promise, but also factually happen as a function of avoiding the crisis of a neighboring economy in complete collapse.

What underpins that prediction is the hidden scale, and almost unquantifiable scope, of the exfiltration of U.S. dollars -legal and illegal- into Mexico.
American taxpayers as voters have no idea of the scale for how much money flows out of the U.S. into Mexico.  The reason no-one knows about it, and the reason economists cannot discuss it, is because the answer reveals a politically inconvenient discussion.
If accurate quantification was ever given sunlight, Americans, or more accurately ‘tax-paying Americans‘ would be able to see how much the United States actually subsidizes the nation of Mexico, and how much we’ve been ripped off.

Trump administration refuses to grant State Dept Ambassadors any tenure extensions.

Splendid. More Winning –  This is a brilliant level of strategic example-setting on many levels.  Not only does this send an expectation message normally only found in the private sector; but it also is delivered upon the most horribly entrenched of all Federal Departments, the Department of State.
These Department of State entities see themselves as a complete and separate structure of government. They also function as a complete and separate ideological structure of government. Remember, Congressional Democrats already poked the LION when they set up a portal for disgruntled State Department employees to directly contact them.

BLOOD BOILING – Everything you need to know about the motives and intents of today’s insufferable Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on “Foreign Cyber Threats to The United States“, can be summed up in the following question:

Why does DNI James Clapper refuse to appear before the Permanent Committee on Intelligence, and/or the Senate Intelligence Committee, yet agree to appear before the John McCain chaired Armed Services Committee?

The answer is political; the answer itself explains the politicization of intelligence; the answer outlines why CIA Brennan, DNI Clapper and the Obama White House are manipulating intelligence; and more importantly the answer clearly evidences, yet again, that Senator John McCain is on the ‘other side’.
Senator ‘Deep State‘ McCain, in an effort to continue his long-standing foreign policy interventions, and to display his measurable efforts on behalf of his foreign payers, is facilitating/enabling the DC/White House political agenda…. again.

The Office of the Director for National Intelligence (ODNI), James Clapper’s current position, is arguably nothing more than a centralized office of bureaucratic political intelligence.  The position was a recommendation of the 911 report in an effort to find a central hub for all intelligence gathering and sharing.
However, as the years have progressed, the office itself has shown to bear out little substantive value and has widely become a political filter for the executive branch to feed information, or disinformation, to the public.  Some Democrats and Republican voices have quietly discussed removing the position due to redundancy….

Once this insufferable intelligence narrative drops from the media headlines, perhaps former Indiana Senator Dan Coats is the perfect guy to do the dis-assembly.  Low-key, no-waves, Coats will glide through senatorial confirmation.

For the past several days we have been discussing the Deep State shadow war within the various intelligence agencies.  The larger issues have been building for a long time.
CIA Director John Brennan and DNI head James Clapper, both took politicization of intelligence to new levels to accommodate the White House. It is not accidental that both of these names are the primary voices behind the “Russian Hacking Conspiracy“.

Those who have followed the intelligence storyline might find the comments last night (video below) by CNN contributor and former CIA official, Bob Baer, very interesting.  Ideologically and politically Baer is not a Trump supporter:

…”Donald Trump is right, it [CIA] needs to be completely reorganized and get it away from politics. And if it turns out that this whole Russian hacking thing is based on politics there should be a serious criminal investigation of some sort”…
