After a brief manhunt and a shootout with police, an Afghanistan immigrant named Ahmad Khan Rahami has been arrested. He is suspected to be the bomber in the recent New Jersey and New York attacks.

Two police officer were wounded in the shootout with Rahami in Linden, New Jersey. The mayor of the nearby city of Elizabeth said: one officer’s vest was struck, and the other was shot in the hand. Thankfully both will recover.

Two jihadists wielding knives entered a church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, Normandy, during mass. Two nuns and two parishioners were taken hostage, one nun is seriously injured. The 84-year-old priest, Father Jacques Hamel (pictured left), was forced to kneel down and his throat was slashed while one of the Islamists’ filmed the murder.
