Discussing the implementation of the Digital Services Act (DSA), Ireland’s Media Minister defends the decision that a government appointed entity will ultimately decide what speech is permitted by citizens. We are living in an era of “Great Pretending.” That’s it. That’s the #1 issue that creates the angst, anxiety and suffering we all encounter. Perhaps a self-defense mechanism, but certainly, a psychological need to pretend things are something other than what they truly are. It’s everywhere, all around us, and it is almost painful to be one of the people amid the chaos who refuses to pretend.
Long after we are gone there will be people, perhaps not yet born, who will look upon this era and define it as this mysterious time when billions of people found it easier to pretend than face the reality of the precipice. It has been said that “ignorance is bliss,” but this is not that. This state of pretending is something far more insidious, far more dangerous, and yet acceptance of this pretending reality provides the stable non-pretending psyche with enhanced predictive insight for what comes next.
You might say those paragraphs sound awfully esoteric in value, somewhat difficult to fully contextualize without a solid frame of reference or example. Well, here’s an example of intentional pretending via CBS today. Catherine Herridge (EoS) knows the truth of the thing, yet she cannot share the truth of the thing; so, she pretends not to know the truth of the thing while softly bumping up against the acceptable pretending of the thing. As the pretending outline existed before, David Weiss could go anywhere he wanted to investigate and prosecute the Biden issue. A least that was the story from the Dept of Justice and even Weiss himself. Yet, for some rather mysterious reason, Weiss needed to ask for special counsel status. It’s all just an exhibition in parseltongue and pretending.
The DOJ is trying to protect the Biden family while simultaneously prosecuting their political opposition, Donald Trump. Toward that end, the special prosecutor against Trump asked for, and received, a secret court order for data from the Twitter account of Trump; their justification, Trump was a flight risk. Now think about that.
A secret, under seal, court order authorized under the justification of President Trump being a flight risk. The most famous man in the world, a man known by everyone on the entire planet earth, a walking human GPS system who literally has armed guards of the U.S. government following him around every day and documenting his every move, is considered a “flight risk”?
What level of pretending is needed to make that judicial justification seem rational? I digress.
According to most western media, to say there is a vast global network of pedophiles and perverts who traffic children is akin to believing in some Q-minded conspiracy. Apparently, with headlines that appeared on AOL News today, the conspiracy is not a theory.
“Members used software to anonymously share files, chat on message boards and access websites within the network,” it said. Some were also accused of having produced their own child abuse material to share with members of the network, the agency said.
(Via AOL/NBC) – Almost 100 people in the United States and Australia have so far been arrested over child sexual abuse allegations after the fatal shooting of two FBI agents led to the unraveling of a suspected international pedophile ring, officials announced Tuesday.
The Australian Federal Police (AFP) said that 19 men had been arrested on charges of sharing child abuse material online, while at least 13 children were rescued from further harm as a result of a joint operation with the FBI, dubbed “Operation Bakis.”
The development brought the total number of people arrested as part of the joint probe up to 98, with at least 79 arrests so far carried out by the FBI, according to the Australian agency.

Before Donald Trump entered politics there was no home for people voting on the issues of a national economic agenda. Both Democrat and Republican candidates had essentially the same worldview on national economic policy because they are all getting money from the same multinational corporate trough. Before getting to this rather jaw-dropping moment, let me first paint the Big Club agenda within it. Everyone knows the Big Club is stressed about the inability of Ron DeSantis to launch a successful campaign. Trillions are at stake, and they have invested hundreds of millions into the effort. Things are getting serious now.
You have heard me repeat it before; the Big Club it is a large network of aligned financial interests. It does not take a lot of organization and/or the creation of some massive global conspiracy, to create outcomes of mutual benefit when the interests of the parties are aligned.
Bob Vander Plaats is a big Ron DeSantis supporter in 2024 as he was for Ted Cruz in 2016. Team DeSantis in 2024 are the same people as team Cruz in 2016. The network of Vander Plaats and team DeSantis are aligned in common interests.

Associated Press – The ruling Dutch coalition collapsed Friday after tense talks among the four parties in Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s ruling bloc failed to broker a deal over ways to rein in migration, a senior politician said.
Henk Kamp, a senior member of Rutte’s People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy told Dutch television: “It is a great shame that the government has now fallen.” The failure of months of talks on the thorny issue could now force a general election.
Rutte’s Cabinet gathered late Friday in a hastily scheduled meeting. “We talked for a long time, we are coming here tonight because we did not succeed,” Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren told reporters as she walked into the Cabinet meeting.
