Prime Minister Mark Carney really is a globalist piece of work. As Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymr Zelenskyy arrives in Alberta, Canada, to coordinate with the latest European leader Mark Carney, the remarks said in this brief greeting and introduction video are stunning in a geopolitical context.
It is obvious that Prime Minister Carney is trying to position himself as a decisionmaker in the outcome of the Russia-Ukraine conflict by pushing Zelenskyy even deeper into intransigent positions that will only lead to greater conflict.
Carney positions Canada squarely on the side of Ukraine and in violent opposition to Russia. Not coincidentally, this is the exact opposite ¹position of the United States, and that is a feature not a flaw.
Carney really does view himself as European first and foremost. He even remarks that Canada in general, and he as the Prime Minister specifically, will ensure that Ukraine advances to become a European member state. How, exactly, does he as a North American leader expect to make this happen?
Worse still, Prime Minister Carney injects himself into the Ukraine-Russia negotiations by stating his intention to ensure that Ukraine becomes a member of NATO. Ukraine not becoming a NATO member state is a hardline for Russia, and that aspect is deeply enmeshed in the ongoing negotiations between the U.S. led discussions with Russia and Ukraine.
Carney is putting his nation and himself into direct conflict with President Trump and the goals/objectives of peace.
No one outside of Canada gives a tinkers’ damn about Canada giving more money to Ukraine; however, when Carney directly aligns his military with Ukraine and pledges to support Zelenskyy with military hardware, NORAD defense missiles, things change. Do the Canadian people really want to get pulled into this quagmire as an outcome of Mark Carney’s grand aspirations to become a protectorate of the European Union?
Carney is playing a very dangerous game, and I hope the Canadian people can see just how far over his skis he is putting them.

If we’re to be an enemy of Canada, and they push to bring Ukraine into NATO, why would we stay in NATO? Isn’t NATO for defense? Why would they defend a NON NATO country?
End this Mr President by telling these weasels that unless NATO is reorganized as the EU defense force and new security agreements are negotiated, America is pulling out of NATO. When a NATO country takes action that is directly against another nations interest, NATO is no longer a mutual defense force but rather a EU military, and those countries that the EU considers competition or enemies should not be held by old world out of date agreements. If that’s what they want then make them do it.

Canada no more has the means to give additional funding and weapons to Ukraine than do most of the leaders of the EU. And if Carney intends to give Canadian weapons systems dedicated to NORAD to Ukraine, he will do so at the risk that there will be no more NORAD after he does it.

In a statement on Thursday, the agency said it had detained a Russian national who worked for an organization contracted to protect the British Embassy in Moscow.
The man collected sensitive information about embassy security on instructions from a Ukrainian contact, as well as personal data on diplomatic personnel, including photographs, home addresses, details of vehicles, and itineraries, the FSB said.
“The Kiev regime planned to carry out sabotage and terrorist attacks against British diplomatic representatives in Moscow to subsequently blame Russia for them in order to draw the United Kingdom into direct armed conflict with the country, secure additional weapons deliveries [to Kiev], and ramp up sanctions on Russia,” the agency said.

Carney knows darned well (Z might not) that to become a member of NATO every single one of the 32 current member states has to approve it, since it is an amendment to the NATO treaty that each member state agreed to. So, the US has absolute veto power. Getting around a presidential opposition would still require a 2/3 vote of the US Senate to approve the treaty amendment to allow a Ukraine membership.
