The first development is the formal declaration that Canada has joined the “coalition of the willing”, along with the U.K, France and Germany. It looks like the Davos party crowd has decided that the Western world must have a war with Russia in order to re-establish an economy. We are not sending weapons to Ukraine. The EU is buying the weapons to give to Ukraine.
President Trump has, on more than one occasion, said he wants the killing to stop. His only position is PEACE. He talks with both Ukraine and Russia in an attempt to achieve that end.
He has rightly asserted this is not our fight.
Which is the same thing as sending them ourselves, just with a middleman. Nobody is fooled, including Putin.
You are correct when you assert that PDJT47’s position is peace, which forces him to deal with both sides. He doesn’t have to genuinely like them, but it’s far easier to negotiate with someone that you are at least cordial with.
We had 2 options:
GIVE weapons to Ukraine while the EU sits there and contributes NOTHING. But Americans are paying for them.
SELL weapons to the EU and let them do with them as they want. At this point, they are giving them to Ukraine. But, at least, AMERICANS aren’t paying for them. PDJT is making EU have skin in the game. At some point they are going to tire of spending money to support Ukraine.
This is a game by the EU. The money they use to buy weapons from the US are then considered a % of their NATO contributions. Heck, Meloni is building some billion dollar bridge and she’s got that classified as NATO funds.

The coalition of the ”willing”is a joke.
I don’t see where he says Canada is sending troops to Ukraine. Unless by joining the “coalition of the willing”, that’s the implication, as it is with all the members of that “coalition.”
It’s still a 100% safe bet that none of these “coalition” countries will send one single troop there unless they’re well to the rear, with American troops leading the way. And God willing that will NEVER happen.
All this talk of security guarantees and some sort of Peace-Keeping Observation Forces in the Ukraine highlights why NATO expanded in advance of provoking the war in the Ukraine.
In the past, the USSR and then Russia normally had no issues with troops from: Sweden, Finland, Romania or Hungary being used as a buffer where their interests were involved …. under a UN Chartered effort.
Now with an greatly expanded NATO … any European Nation, the US and Canada being used even under a UN Flag, would make the Ukraine a de facto NATO member once those troops deployed in the Ukraine … no matter what the NATO charter says.
There are very few “acceptable” nations at this time who have and who could afford to send a Mobile Buffer Force large enough to cover the entire line of contact with a physical and aerial presence.
The African nations are out, as they have major internal security issues. Although both Nigerian and Kenyan Troops have done a credible job in the past.
The Middle Eastern nations are out for obvious reasons.
That leaves maybe: India, Pakistan, Malaya, Singapore and Japan … who do have credible peace keeping experience.
Russia would likely consider Australia and New Zealand the same as NATO …. making them a maybe if this is a UN Mission.
And, we stay the hell out of Ukraine. Our leftists traitors have done enough to poke the Russian bear by shifting NATO east.
This fight is suicidal. The Russians have been legitimately betrayed by our government officials therefore they will fight with a righteous fury on their own lands. They will be unbeatable. We can fight them in Greenland and Venezuela and win, but, not in the birthplace of the Russian people.

And, with Europe and Canada making pronouncement that they will send troops tells me that they expect us to be there. In other words, they expect the American leftists to cheat successfully and have a leftist administration and these traitors will send Americans to die there in Ukraine.
