When all Canadian auto manufacturing returns to USA then only Alberta will have products we want and they will find it better to leave the dominion and become a member of the USA.
As an Albertan just trying to feed my family and keep the roof over our heads like everybody else in North America, I can see a dark road for both sides of the border.
If America tightens the screws on us, shuts down the border, and essential begins to starve us out . . . we will understandibly have no choice but to welcome (even further) Chinese and other hostile actors into our country for our very survival. And they will be good, benevolant partners . . . at first.
Y’all can laugh and ridicule the 40 million of us now, but when 1.4 billion Chinese start setting up along your northern border . . . we all have a big problem.
Might be better to work this tariff thing out sooner than later.
Before it gets to that point, y’all up there might want to take the easier road and just start doing a better job of interdicting drugs and helping to keep illegals out.

I don’t have a problem with your last statement, but a country that elected Obama and Biden, allowed and WELCOMED illegals and drugs up your southern border, and now has President Trump only by an earlobe is not suddenly on the highest moral high ground here, either. We’re going through the same leadership crap that you just went through, and are hopefully just one cycle behind you.
We have American criminal organizations set up all across Canada. Illegal guns are all over the place, mostly from America I’m guessing. My hope is that our common hostilities would be turned on those responsible, not each other.

As a Canadian who loves the USA you may want to know how bad it is in Canada. There is a real (Journalist ) in Vancouver by the name of Sam Cooper who has written a book about what the CCP are doing there. It is called ( Wilful Blindness ) It tells how the Chinese already own VANCOUVER AND RICHMOND and are laundering money in the Casinos and bringing in all kinds of drugs especially Fentynal and moving it south thru the border from BC to Ont. The Federal Gov knows, The provincial government knows the gaming commission knows the RCMP knows and no one will do anything about it. That is what Trump is mad about.I have lived and worked in the US (legally ) for 20 years and love ya all down there.
