Chrystia Freeland is so short that she could not possibly win a physical struggle with anyone over the age of eight. She has always found someone else to fight her battles, so why not take that ability nuclear? Of course, she will fail, as no one in Europe will want to protect Canada from the USA with an ocean between them.
Canadians can’t be that stupid to give her power, can they?

As a conservative in Canada, I can only sit here and watch the collective idiocy unfold. President Trump hates Trudeau (as do a lot of us!) and so he is threatening/inposing massive tariffs, notwithstanding that only minute levels of fentanyl and illegal immigrants cross the border from Canada. So, the president is attracting more and more ill will here and the Liberals are painting anyone who isn’t threatening ‘war’ against the U.S. as a Trump-lover. The result is that the Liberals have climbed back into a virtual tie with the Conservatives. We have been looking forward to an election to finally rid ourselves of these idiots and the hatred (fueled by the press in both countries) against President Trump is being turned into the re-election of the Liberals. PLEASE! Don’t punish the general population of the country for the actions of the Liberals. Understand that declaration of economic war gives the Liberals cover to run against Trump. Is there not a way to signal that if the Conservatives are elected, tariffs can be lifted against Canada? Or does President Trump really want to punish a country for the actions of its leadership? Even when that leadership was about to be defeated (by 20 percentage points) before the tariffs were announced?
Make sure the conservatives are elected, and what they do after that will decide whether we can have fair trade between us. You know it would likely be the case; spread the word. Your Liberals not agreeing to US being treated fairly in trade should be a reason to defeat them.
