We previously outlined how Make Romania Great Again candidate Călin Georgescu came out of nowhere and won the first round in the presidential election. {GO DEEP}
The U.S. and EU heads went bananas at the surprise upset.
Georgescu is a nationalist, and his ideological outlook is the exact opposite of what the EU/U.S want to see. As a consequence, appeals were made to Brussels to intervene and simultaneously inside Romania the election results were reviewed by the court.
Last Monday the Romanian courts validated the first-round results, affirming their legitimacy. However, on Friday with information provided by CIA and various intelligence services, just two days before the second round of voting, the same court annulled the election results, threw out the votes, and now say another election must take place.
The EU intelligence services apparently said social media platforms like TikTok were to blame for Georgescu’s surge in popularity. His voters violated customs and norms of regular media that are used to control political outcomes in Romania, and therefore the election result cannot be allowed to stand. The people in Romania are stunned at the intervention, and no political party agrees with it.
ROMANIA – […] The Constitutional Court in its published decision cited the illegal use of digital technologies including artificial intelligence, as well as the use of “undeclared sources of funding.” It said one candidate received “preferential treatment on social media platforms, which resulted in the distortion of voters’ expressed will.”
Georgescu slammed the verdict as putting “democracy is under attack.”
“I have only one pact … with the Romanian people and God,” he said in a video statement. “We are no longer talking about fairness but rather about a mockery that betrays the principles of democracy … It is time to show that we are a courageous people who know that the destiny and rights of the Romanian nation are in our hands.”
Lasconi also strongly condemned the court’s decision, saying it was “illegal, immoral, and crushes the very essence of democracy” and that the second round should have gone forward.
“Whether we like it or not, from a legal and legitimate standpoint, 9 million Romanian citizens, both in the country and the diaspora, expressed their preference for a particular candidate through their votes,” she said.
“I know I would have won. And I will win because the Romanian people know I will fight for them, that I will unite them for a better Romania,” she added.
Some 9.4 million people — about 52.5% of eligible voters — had cast ballots in the first round in this European Union and NATO member country. The president serves a five-year term and has significant decision-making powers in national security, foreign policy and judicial appointments. (read more)
This truly is one of the most remarkable examples of the EU globalist-left, refusing to accept an election result and would rather throw their country into mass chaos than accept a nationalist leader winning the presidency.
Keep in mind, in the background of this election was a series of defeats for Bussels and the World Economic Forum globalists. The “New Democracy” group of totalitarians were crushed in France, Germany, Hungary and then obliterated in Georgia. Apparently, Romania was the final straw for the EU control agents. This really is remarkable.
What happens next is anyone’s guess, but it appears the people of Romania are going to try and vote their way out of it.
Imagine what would happen in the USA if Donald Trump won the election, then congress certified the election, and then suddenly the U.S Supreme Court said, ‘nah, we don’t like the outcome, do it again.’

This nullification of the presidential election in Romania is messed up. First they certified the election, then they nullified it a week later. It smells of the same US Deep State and Brussels interference.
But please don’t associate Georgescu with Make Romania Great Again. To westerners not familiar with Romanian politics, please hear me out. The guy is a kook. Watch a few of his interviews, if you know the language or can find them translated in English, and you’ll see what I mean, not just those short addresses to the people where he says all the right things. He told a journalist that there is no war in Ukraine. When she rebuffed him, he asked her “did you go there and see?”. He peddles conspiracy theories that the man never landed on the moon and other insane theories. He rambles about there being only diplomatic solutions in the 3rd millenium, not acknowledging the reality of war and peace through strength. He said he would make Romania leave NATO in an interview a few months ago. But now he says that people are falsely accusing him of it. I don’t mind someone having an anti-NATO stance, or changing their opinion later on. But I do have a problem with lying. Plus the haughty and affected way he talks when he’s pushed to answer some difficult questions is off-putting. Then he has those cheesy campaign videos showing him riding a horse and swimming in icy waters. Who does that remind you of?
The problem is in Romania you don’t have quality sources of information, be it mainstream media or bloggers, nothing. It’s either leftwing globalist media, or the so called “conservative” sources, that peddle all kinds of conspiracy theories and aggressive anti-Israel/pro-Hamas stances. A few days ago, realitatea.tv reported that RFK Jr. and Tucker Carslon would come to Romania to support Georgescu. But that was all fake (even RFK Jr.’s spokesperson had to deny). The same rags compared Georgescu with the great Cuza, who produced the re-unification of Romania and Moldova in 1918 (because the latter was taken by force in the 19th century by Russia).
Georgescu is an imposter and opportunist riding this populist wave. Simion and his party, AUR, are ok though. But Georgescu is a clown. He’s no Milei, Orban, Wilders, Farage or Trump. It’s an insult to those great men to put Georgescu in the same league with them. Don’t be mad at me. Just take some time to research.
I do hope that this coup though, as bad intended as it was, in the end will have the opposite effect. Like in the story of Joseph being sold into Egypt by his brothers. Gun ownership in Romania is regulated by law. Romania has one of the toughest gun ownership laws in the world. In order for citizens to obtain a weapon, they must obtain a permit from the police, and must register their weapon once they purchase it. There are several categories of permits, with different requirements and rights, including hunting permits, self-defense permits, sports shooting permits and collectors permits. The only categories of people who are legally entitled to carry a weapon are owners of self-defense permits, magistrates, MP’s, military forces and certain categories of diplomats. A psych eval is required beforehand in all cases.
The question is: Did the Romanian court ban Georgescu from participating in either the second round or the new first round of voting? If they didn’t, they’re going to see him win an ever larger majority because I don’t think that the Romanian people will put up with the US and EU meddling in their election.
The court decided to nullify the results of the first round of elections and cancel the second round while the second round of voting was already under way on Friday in diaspora, because although elections in Romania were supposed to take place today only, for Romanians outside of the country there were two additional days of early voting, Friday and Saturday. They saw massive turnout for Georgescu. I believe Lasconi was getting just 20% of the votes outside of Romania. The left had this plan to cancel since almost 2 weeks ago, but they waited until the last moment, because they knew their grounds for doing it was flimsy.
Oh and Georgescu is not going to run when the new elections take place. You can bet on it. They are already arresting influencers connected with his campaign.
I hope that Simion, the candidate from the only viable conservative party AUR, benefits from this coup in the next elections, unless he’s banned also.
As for Georgescu, he’s not trustworthy. Read my more detailed comment a little above. He is a proven liar and he says some pretty insane stuff. A few minutes of listening to his interviews on mainstream media will show you that. And he has a checkered past. Lots of red flags there. Add the body language and the way he talks on top of that and you’ll see an imposter. At least Simion can pass a moderate amount of scrutiny and I saw him at CPAC with Bannon and the like.

For my perspective, which I will admit is biased, the use of the word “democracy” is starting to get irritating, but I recognize the people in the countries like Romania, Poland and Hungary don’t have much of an option for using other words, with the history of the region being what it is.
In reality not much different that the US in 2020/2021. Trump wins in a landslide but loses the next morning and weeks later. Courts refuse to hear any cases, an Insurrection led by the Feds blamed on MAGA. Unless we stop them, our next election will be a repeat of 2020 and Romania. Until they are prosecuted and removed, we are at risk.
