Today is officially Super Tuesday in primary voting. Consider this an open discussion thread specific to what is taking place at the precincts where you are voting.
Specifically, it is interesting to note the intensity -or lack thereof- of the voting base in your neighborhood, town, city or hamlet. What is happening and do you feel a sense of involvement permeating or is general complacency the status quo? In every election cycle your ground reports are the most accurate gauge of the sense of the voting base. This one is important.
For the Republican primary, 874 of 2,429 total delegates will be awarded today. The winning candidate, almost certain to be Donald Trump, ultimately needs 1,215 delegates to capture the nomination.
President Trump has already won 244 delegates from the early voting contests (Via AP), so MAGA -represented by Trump- needs roughly 1,000 more to capture the nomination and dispatch this nonsense with Nikki Haley.
For the Democrats, 1,421 delegates are up for grabs representing roughly a third of all ordinary delegates. The Super Delegates, who control the outcome, are decided later at the convention….. which I predict will be the real test of what the Democrats have in mind. Remember, Biden needs 1,969 delegates to officially win the nomination, and/or then pass the baton to the ultimate candidate (strongly plausible).
After MAGA exposed the RNC “splitter scheme” in California, the CA Republican Party then changed their rules allowing the candidate who captures over 50% of the vote to be the one who will receive all of the state’s 169 Republican delegates. With the Republican primary as a two-person race between Trump and Haley, Trump is likely to win all of California’s delegates – which is good, because we need to grind Haley into the pulp of irrelevance. Let her campaign as a Democrat on behalf of the Deep State – ::spit::.
With a for sale sign on her back, Haley has been obtuse about her plans after today. Many traditional pollsters expect her to quit if she is crushed. She has won only Washington DC, which is a story of sunlight by itself, so Haley will have a hard time trying to make an argument for continuing. But she’s a teeth talker, so who knows what that clenched and insufferable creature will do. Again – ::spit::.
So, what is happening in your area? If you live in any of the aforementioned states, let us know. Trust me, there are people around the world watching, not just in the USA.

Volusia County, FL (Daytona Beach Area)
Republican only primary today. Approximately 160k registered Republicans in the county, about 10% (16k) voted by mail prior to today. I am not in the local area for the in person vote today, but the area is MAGA strong. Portions of the county redistricted into the US 7th, with the seat being flipped D to R in 2022 (Rep Cory Mills). Most of the rest of the county remained in the US 6th, which was held by incumbent Michael Waltz (R).
My bad. In person primary for FL is in two weeks, on the 19th.
LOL. Thx.
I was wondering WTH Lee County would hold its’ Primary before the rest of the State. haha.
It *might* be the 1st day for early voting, tho. *Might*
>>>> Thursday, March 7 is the LAST DAY to sign up for a Mail in Ballot in FL. <<<<
You need to re-sign up *every * Election Season now.
So just because you voted by Mail in 2020, that does not mean you will be sent a Ballot this year.
It’s up to you to call your county election place before 5PM on March 7.
Volusia, not Lee.
Brain fart.
Just voted in my “city within a huge city” in TX. New polling location. Lots of people (unusual in my 22 years here) and no one looked even remotely familiar. Poll Workers obviously not residents of area. Overheard a man saying he slept in his tent last night, while he was dropping names. Chevy sedan with label “delivery in progress” passing by. Several young “couples” voting together. Again, unusual in that none were dressed professionally. In workout clothes. I have voted on Election Day in every primary and have never seen any of these people-and there historically has never been the line there was today.
so what is your take on all that you observed?
Is TX Open?
Yes
THANK YOU!!!!
You’re welcome.
That is all VERY interesting Mom…and more than a little concerning, TBH!
Ok, I’m really confused. Wasn’t PDT supposed to be buried under a federal prison before Super Tuesday? The evil lawfare trash must have gotten their destruction calenders mixed up.
Just voted in my Texas district. Not much enthusiasm for Democrats this year. People from the Dem table had to shout at the line asking if there were any Democrats there to vote, few takers.
My spouse and I voted in Hampton Roads area in Virginia. My # was actually high for a Primary election.
Uncle T. LFG, gang. 😎
From NC, small rural community. Voting precinct was very slow. We were the only ones in there to vote around 9:30 this morning. We commented as we checked in how slow it was and it was confirmed that it had been slow thus far.
Not good news.
Central Virginia near Charlottesville. My wife and I voted around 10:00. About five people voted while we were there, and a worker said it was the busiest she had seen all morning. This is liberal land, so no enthusiasm for President Biden.
Small East Texas town here. Voted at 8:00 am. We were the 17th to vote. Paper ballot and ID’d. Was storming at 7:00 am. Three people were there. We’ve had a lot of people move from other states here. Scares me. Normally a Republican cty. We’ll see.
From another small east Texas town, although our storming was finished around 0630, I voted at 0720, there were 3 others voting while I was there. When leaving I saw several cars approaching polling location.
Haven’t been to vote yet.
Was just told the line is out the door.
That means heavy voting here.
North east Texas.
I completed a mail in ballot in SW FL, since I will be working at the polls this year on 3/19. I did my training to do registration/ID/Signature check in, and one of the test cases they gave us was a man born in 1905, that looked to be in his early 30’s on his DL. The ID was expired, so he would have to have some other form of ID that was current, but they told us we could not question his legitimacy based on age??? WTF. They said our job is not to prevent anyone from casting a ballot. I was surprised by that response in Lee County. I will report my observations after election day
Yeah. 120 YO sounds a bit too old to be voting.
Actually sounds a bit too dead to be voting…
During the Obama years a law called Help America Vote Act, or ‘HAVA’, was put into place with the specific purpose of not questioning what our lying eyes are seeing because ‘everyone has the right to vote’. Learned about that while training as a poll worker here in Nevada. All sorts of workarounds were created to get as many votes in as possible with very few exceptions built in to block people from voting who had no business voting.
Either the democrat party dies or the US dies.
Could not tell it was an election day in Massachusetts.
It was very busy where I am in blueMA – from 10 am to 12 noon were the hours I saw…
Another blueMA report here.
I did 2 hours at the polls in my town a few towns north of Boston.
I’m pretty sure I saw the PDJT-on-the-ballot effect as soon as I drove in to my polling place (now in a large high school gym with covid-mixing of several precincts).
Compared to the last several elections when I spent time there holding signs (I haven’t yet made it to actual poll worker), the large parking lot was PACKED. It was quite startling. It was fuller than the previous elections and many times more than the last primary.
I suppose there could have been some sort of teacher function, but when I asked one of the cops whether there was any event in addition to the election itself, he knew of none. I guess we’ll find out the actual turnout tonight.
Another piece of evidence that it was all turnout was that, as opposed to an event with a start time, there was a continuous flow of cars in and out. For the first time that I saw, the two cops who are always stationed at the entrance actually had to get out into the road and direct a few incipient snarls of traffic.
I was holding a double sign for our local precinct candidates (both of whom are America-Firsters). My spot was at the entrance where I could give eye contact to each car as it went by – that is if it wasn’t one of the moments when there was a car every few seconds (also unusual)!
Many positive thumbs-ups, grins, waves. One angry face/thumb down (I laughed at her).
A personal and purely subjective note now:
I didn’t see much differentiation among the males, but I did notice the stone-faces and/or frowns turned my way included a larger percentage of unattractive women (many overweight). Quite a few of the thumbs-up, on the other hand, were attractive women or at least women who were doing their best to look groomed and put together. I have been very heavy in my own life, now controlled, so I always notice these things. This difference is generally noticeable in blueMA simply because it’s a blue state.
So that was my two hours. I may go out again towards evening if possible…
MA. is Open, right?
Woman I know up there (a Dem), called me a couple months back to say she was voting Haley in the Primary.
Lots of colleges in MA. and that could be a problem. A lot of those kids like to lick a$$es for TPTB.
We’re open, yes, dang it. And yes, there could’ve been any number of Unenrolleds dashing in to grab a Pub ballot…
However, the Repubs & Unenrolled in blueMA actually outnumber the left-vulture-wingers numerically – I think… And if the polling or today is at all accurate, PDJT was about 30 ahead…
It used to be that in order to cross-vote in the primary, you had to be Unenrolled at the time and change back later. I suspect the Marxist Dims in charge may have ditched that requirement along with any others they didn’t enjoy, but not sure.
And you’re right about the colleges. We shall see!
I believe I did recruit at least one guy I talked to for our town committee. Every little bit helps.
It is not open to Dems, only to Independents (unenrolled as MA calls them).
As I have always said being a MA resident, MA Independents are mostly Democrats hiding their partisan reality. With 60% of registered voter claiming that status, with 9% Republicans and 31% Democrats, if many were really Republicans we wouldn’t be getting complete control of the state elected offices by Democrats, in addition to the huge supermajority they have in the House and Senate.
The Unenrolleds I’ve known have leaned more to Uninformed and therefore tuned out in discouragement. Also I know libertarians who are Unenrolled.
But I think there is enough anger building that the Unenrolleds have started looking around for alternatives to the madness…
We shall see…
And by the way – Howie Carr is sold to the dark side – but I think a lot of people know that by now…
I turned on YouTube last night to catch up on any Trump’s speeches I may have missed but what came up was a shot of Howie sitting and waiting for his show to start, don’t know if he knew he was on but he was kissing his hand with open mouth, WTF?
Hope you’re right, Steph.
At some point, things change. And Libertarians have definitely caught on more over the decades.
It’s been a while since I lived there. I just still know a lot of people up there. One family actually finally flipped to Repub. a few years back and voted TRUMP in 2016/2020. ha!
But the dad still has that NE infected mentality and said he’d vote Haley in the Primary, Trump in the Election.
I know what you mean about the families in this area – mine is blue Rhode Island plus blueMA – only one small branch of it that’s MAGA, plus me out here…
I will say that there does seem to be something bubbling under the blue surface here.
There are the towns out away from the Boston/Cambridge bubble where PDJT signs are everywhere.
There are the people who quietly grin when I say “Let’s Go Brandon” in the supermarket.
There are the people who discover through careful discreet conversation that we think similarly, and then get a look as if they’ve been dying in the desert and just offered water.
There are the people who honk, wave, and smile for PDJT standouts just as they did for Scott Brown all those years ago.
In a word: there’s hope.
____
P.S. Your observation that an Independent (Unenrolled) in blueMA usually (not always now) means a cloaked Democrat who doesn’t want to admit it.
Well, as I said, I’ve known many libertarians who are actually cloaked conservatives – and also don’t want to admit that.
Right now I call myself a Popularian. ☺️
Steph what do you mean about Howie being sold to the dark side?
I listen to Grace Curley and then Howie every day and all sounds normal to me.
Have I missed something?
I am not surprised it’s been missable. Howie was great for so many years – I listened since the 80’s. In fact he held the first big Trump event in MA in the summer before the 2016 election – a rally at a local car dealer – and the report that afternoon was all about the huge traffic jam for people trying to get in.
It started when Howie went against PDJT’s endorsement for Governor in 2022 – Geoff Diehl. Howie’s schtick was that Diehl “couldn’t win.” But as CTH has shown us over the years, perceived winnability is far from everything if we just get yet another RINO. Howie worked hard to get the RINO elected instead. IMHO Howie handed the Governorship to our current nightmare, Maura Healey (D-Marxist).
But that’s not all. In my district today we have a solid MAGA candidate, an older woman who’s been in town politics her whole life and brooks no RINO nonsense – common sense all the way. Howie has been pushing her opponent, a young woman who made a terrible impression at the local Republican caucus where she ran against our older MAGA candidate. Again IMHO – the young thing is of course pretty – but also IMHO doesn’t appear to have 2 brain cells to rub together. And our candidate made mincemeat of the “winnability” nonsense by beating the young thing at the caucus 65 to 10.
Didn’t stop Howie – he’s still pushing the young one, now somehow with a write-in for her husband.
I can only conclude that somehow Howie got snubbed by PDJT – or that there there have been some $$ involved somewhere. No matter which it may be – neither inspires my confidence in HC any more!
____
P.S. I have hope that Grace does not have this predilection for RINOs; I enjoy her when I end up listening to her, always have.
Totally agree that in Mass.- as well as the REST of New England- “Independent” means>>>
“I vote Dem 100% of the time, but like to Virtue Signal that I am an open-minded person”.
Period.
Lived up there for *many* years.
Sunnydaze – I saw your many questions on this – and so did a quick online search for all the States having primaries today –
All of them are open primaries with two exceptions: Oklahoma and Utah will allow unaffiliated voters to vote on a Democrat ballot but not on a Republican ballot.
North Carolina will allow unaffiliated voters register for one of the two parties to vote on those ballots, so considered a partially closed primary state.
So, if a huge turnout when primaries would normally not be huge could indicate Democrats voting for Haley to skew the numbers for Trump or people are so upset with what the demented WH resident is doing they figured to vote for Trump? Who’s to know? Only the dominion machine knows for sure what’s really happening.
In our training as a poll worker, under the HAVA, Help America Vote Act, there are provisions put into law that people can register at the polling place, can change party affiliation at the polling place, and those are supposed to be considered ‘provisional’ ballots where the registrar of voters office is supposed to have some magic computer program that says that person isn’t registered in a different precinct. So who knows what is in the heart of those going into vote today – honest intent or games afoot?
Thank you, Bessie!
Hard to believe this country has so many Open Primaries.
And No. Wonder. Haley wanted to stay in til after Super Tuesday!
duh!
So OK and Utah will give us a true picture of what’s happening.
Hopefully, more people from OK and UT will be getting on this thread later.
Oh by the way I thought later about your comment on the colleges. Though blueMA is chockablock with them, I don’t actually think my own district has any notable ones except perhaps UMass Lowell – and not sure about that…
The districts have been swizzled worse and worse every cycle lately. Looks like the cows whose paths first defined the crazy roads in Boston have been pressed into service to do the gerrymandering.
Furthermore, I looked at a lot of faces of the people driving in and out today – and very few of them seemed of college age. It was mostly around 40 years and up…
Coulda been some lefty professors out to cause trouble I suppose!
TY for voting AF candidates. Howie is already cueing up Dandy Don Meredith’s singing “The Party’s Over.” He is tight with Amy Carnevale, maybe some cash exchanged?
Yikes! I kept trying to find out whether she succeeded in forcing through that CA trick of stealing electors – actually redistributing them Communist-style – to a winner who didn’t get over 50%. It got floated in CA but failed there (it was mentioned somewhere on this discussion today). Like the indictments, it was 100% targeted against PDJT.
I know Carnivale was trying to push it in MA, but nobody seems to know what happened… Well, that is, nobody I had a chance to ask…
In 2017 Minnesota switched from using a caucus to vote for primary candidates to actually voting — opening polling places and having citizens go vote — via primary.
I don’t think most people in this state even realize what the difference is, since few people know or have been to a precinct caucus in the first place.
So when a “primary” was thrown into the mix, I’d bet most people here are clueless to what’s going on.
If they knew what the results were, I think they’d get more involved.
As of noon today only 36 people had voted at my polling place, and I was #37.
I will be at the courthouse in a little while, opening & checking mail-in ballots, and I’ll stay there until the outside drop-box is checked and emptied, and all the counting machines come in. Then I’ll stay until all the numbers match — paper ballots vs machine ballots — and sign the sealed envelopes that the saved ballots go into.
We all need to get our names added to lists of available citizens willing to do that type of work. Read your states election laws, not the handouts given by your Secretary of State, but the actual laws, and compare what the law says to what is currently taking place in your location. Our county had been breaking the law up until 3 years ago, and it was only in reading the laws and seeing our county was not following those laws, then calling them out on their illegalities, that we now have full representation and eyes on everything that happens on election day.
Most important, we all need to do that NOW, to try and ensure that the Presidential election of 2024 isn’t a run-away steal.
Two things for sure!
Obama’s husband is not running for prez. and Kyrsten Sinema is not running again!
Careful with the celebrating.
K.S. would not have taken ANY votes from KL, but WOULD have split the commie vote with Gallegos.
Hence, she dropped out to hurt KL.
Ouch.
Thanks for the dose of truth – I hadn’t thought it through.
Truly I was not celebrating anything. Lake future is like all the rest of the GOP/DNC people running, how are the people feeling about the country this time around.
Agree on #2 – and I’m definitely celebrating the exit of Victoria Nuland!
I will “celebrate” when these traitors are actually punished. Stepping outside of the limelight for a few moments is *not* what I consider punishment.
A jail cell would at least be a deterrent. Capital punishment for treason/ crimes against humanity would be an even better deterrent.
Norco CA here. Voted at 8 a.m. – 5 or 6 voters there – many ballot envelope drop offs. Voted via computer, printed out ballot – scanned into their machine.
Durham NC. Just voted at my very liberal precinct polling place where I have voted since 2008. It was busier than typical for a primary election, but no waiting in line. I was discouraged to see all but 2 poll workers wearing face masks and many voters as well. So Dem turnout was good. But, each the voters before me and after me were registered unaffiliated and chose Republican primary ballots. That made 3 of us!
If you feel comfortable please name your state and county when reporting your experiences.
But, the question about the voters before and after you is whether they chose a Republican ballot in order to vote FOR or AGAINST PDJT? I hope FOR. However, many are encouraged to disrupt the primaries to dilute the MAGA influence.
Voted at 10 in North San Antonio. I was the only one there! To be fair, I went to that particular location because it is always just a few people—-most people do not know about it. The library nearby is always a zoo. I pray we get that smarmy Tony Gonzales out, but doubt it. 3 good candidates will split the vote.😏
PS—-most people still voting early here.
San Antonio. Lunchtime. Same here, found a new, small, quiet location to avoid the crowd at library. San Antonio has a smooth process to vote. Verify identity via DL scan or registration card, receive ballot, insert ballot into computer, vote, take printed ballot and insert into safe that scans it. Multiple tracking mechanisms-computer record, ballot scanned, printed record. San Antonio/Bexar county election officials seem to be earnest/judicious/professional. Two folks were arguing with an election official. Sounded like they wouldn’t let him vote because there was a problem with his drivers license (posssibly address/precinct change) and he didn’t bring his voter registration card.
People, can you please tell us if your State is Open or Closed Primary in these reports?
Very quiet where I live in Tennessee. Small town. Not much talk at all. And yet, I’d say 95% are Trump supporters. I can’t say what the turn out is, but I want to offer my opinion. I think people care more about the November election.
Same here. Small town, Tennessee, majority Trump supporters… but turnout seemed low. Hopefully everyone will go to the polls in November. We can’t be lax and assume anything.
Based on yard signs alone one would hardly guess there was an election in my town of Weston, MA
That’s a pretty Dim town in general, isn’t it?
Working heavy D precinct in TX. No lines, totally dead. Highlight of day was old geezer walking in yelling “Where do I vote for Trump?”
https://www.politico.com/2024-election/results/super-tuesday/
Can you please tell us if your State is Open or Closed in the comments?
https://www.datapandas.org/ranking/states-with-open-primaries
That’s useful. But many are not mentioning the state either.
I agree that sundance & company could use this info…
steph_ gray
See the LIST below the map …. Names are there.
Oh – thanks – but I meant, some commenters aren’t mentioning their states in their reports – so knowing whether or not a state is open primary may not help get a picture from them…
No biggie – I just read a comment here that practically all the SuperTuesday states do have open primaries of one sort or other. Another yikes… That’s yet another hole in the election security boat…
Voted this AM in small town western NC. Not busy but it was mid morning. Lots of people outside trying to get my attention to vote for their candidate. No face diapers inside.
MARK ROBINSON and TRUMP all the way!
Sadly, I did see a few voters with face-diapers in my western NC village hall. Just baffles me at this stage of the game. Frankly, it baffled me from the start and I never wore one.
There’s been a new “covid scare” going around, I guess.
Dem friends on the west coast were talking about it. Probably hitting the Dem news circuit.
Voted in Raeford North Carolina at the Civic Center.
First came back I was not allowed to vote.
Said I was registered as both a Democrat and Republican and had already voted.
Thry had a duplicate name with slight variation of address that does not exist.
Finally, all the magic worked and they let me vote.
Northern Virginia, deep blue area. Voted mid-day. Very few voters on site.
VA is an open primary, which means Dems can cross party lines and vote for Hailey.
Well, it’s good to know that at least they’re not coming out to vote Haley en masse?
Joe Concha
@JoeConchaTV
And here we go…
I believe this is a good thing yes?
If I remember right, she barely won last time.
I suspect that she may not win and would rather quit than do the battle.
I think it’s a good thing because it’s a chance to get a real strong MAGA candidate in there.
BUT AZ has had such issues.. it’s hard to say if they can actually get this done? (after seeing what happened to Kari Lake).
It’s an opportunity yes, but we’d be damn fools to not also see the risk of losing it to another lunatic.
I used to live in Nashua there in NH
Kari Lake is the “real strong MAGA candidate” in that Senate race that Sinema just gave up.
One of the very realest and strongest!
Good interview with Kari on warroom this evening about this change – the replay should be around tomorrow…
Most of what she said was a steaming pile of BS…especially the “infrastructure bill” comments.
Voted around 12:15 today in western Chesterfield County in Virginia. No line. Several names still on the ballot.
Virginia is an open primary since we don’t register by political party. I suspect Trump’s margin will be much lower than previous places given the desperation of Haley.
He will pull it off, but I suspect it will be between 5-15 points above her. Hope I’m proven too pessimistic.
You are a realist. Unfortunately cheating has become the norm in some states, and some districts..
Uh oh, they let him out for a while, before his next nap. Hahaha!

Biden just now when asked about his poor poll numbers: “I’m winning five. Five in a row”
His decline worsens
He is so reptilian repulsive.
My cousin from NJ says to me, “So why is it people are always saying Gavin Newsom is handsome? He looks to me like a lizard.”
I told her that no one I know has ever said he was handsome. Many have said, “He’s tall.” They used to say he’s “young.” It’s a journo-created meme that he’s handsome. (Idiot WAtters on Fox calls him that.)
I think his long neck and his predatory political behavior makes him a vulture.
The media tried to tell us that Michelle was the next Jackie O, no one fell for that BS.
Certainly not once anyone got a load of Melania! Pure class.
I am permanently annoyed at the fashion world’s snub of her.
Look at that face, those EYES!
It’s at the point Biden seems to be imitating the LIttle Old Man Tim Conway played on the Carol Burnett Hour.
At least Tim Conway was cute tho.
There’s nobody else running, you dolt.
I voted today on Texas. In looking down the list on my electronic voting machine, all the potential Presidential nominees were listed on one page at the end of the first column. I couldn’t find Donald Trump. Instead of continuing the list on the top of the next column, you actually had to get into a second page made specifically for the first column with only one one name there. Donald Trump. It was easy for an older person to miss unless they were specifically looking for his name. It was so strange that the page was formatted that way. It looked like he wasn’t on the ballot until you followed more instructions to get to his name alone.
That is odd. He was the first name listed on my ballot.
So it must change by county? First column first page should probably be close to the same!
That would explain the difference and I agree all ballots should be the same.
I am in Texas as well. DJT was listed first on my ballot. MAGA!
Done on purpose. Everyone in elections knows not to do that.
Please report to a local election integrity group or TrueTheVote or Seth Keshel or someone!!
Maybe yours goes by alphabetic listing, doogie?
I didn’t check the alphabetical order because I was only looking for his. But I prevailed in voting for him so all is good.
What a shame for the patriots in Massachusetts, there is reported cheating going on any which way they can. People calling in to local radio WRKO, some polling places have no GOP ballots, very hard to use felt tip pens supplied, etc.
One caller said she requested a mail in republican ballot, she was sent a Dem ballot so has to cast her vote in person.
The RINO’s are smearing America First candidates, there’s even a feud going on between the top two radio hosts. it’s really disgusting.
Shame on Howie Carr for siding with RINOS, and making fun of former candidate for Governor Jeff Diehl because he is driving for Uber Eats now to make ends meet..
Jeff Diehl had done nothing of any substance for the Republican Party in MA. He is a failed candidate many times over. Who needs a loser.
You mean like Ronald Reagan was in his first two Presidential campaigns?
He beat Chris Doughty and won the nomination for Governor. He’s lacks fire but Howie shouldn’t be making fun of him for taking odd jobs to feed his family. He actually has done a lot of good for Mass.
Howie was ALL IN for Jeff Diehl for quite a while.
And now it’s as though he can’t stand the guy.
Things that make you go hmmm…. 🤔
He’s a crook too from the sounds of it.
I recall hearing Howie make a comment about how there was no one else to support BUT RINOs- in a least a few of the races, I didn’t hear which one he was talking about though. But I heard him acknowledge this person was a RINO but there was no other candidate.
And this situation doesn’t surprise me at all.
As bad as RINOs are, they are still better than a Democrat.
At least we can possibly persuade or threaten to remove a RINO. We all know just exactly what a Democrat will do and it’s far worse.
Democrats certainly don’t answer to the Right- but a RINO does.
We have zero chance to influence a Democrat but a MAYBE -at least- with a RINO.
Having no one to vote for but a RINO really sucks- and I speak as someone that has been forced to vote for the biggest RINO Chris Sununu BUT the alternative Democrats are far worse -and to not vote means you are certainly allowing the Democrat to win.
So vote for the RINO if there is not one else to pick from- at least you showed up and you are fighting it !!
At this point – also never take a pundit’s word that there’s no one else to vote for…
It’s slow, but the grass roots are growing. Because astroturf is dead.
What’s wrong with making ends meet? Not everyone chooses to be a pompous, overpaid fake news propaganda mouthpiece.
Straight out of her Masters program, my daughter made more money delivering Uber Eats meals for 3-4 evenings a week than she did working full time for an architecture firm.
Voted in large North Texas city. The Republican Line was quite long, and I waited 50 minutes until I reached a voting booth. I hope all in line were Republicans and not the dems. A poll worker would come out once in a while asking if there were dems in line as there was not a dem line extending outside. I so hope this is positive.
I had to early vote in the Myrtle Beach area of SC in the Republican primary. The line was very long, I waited 45 minutes and during that time more and more people came in. I was truly impressed. MAGA!
Love Myrtle Beach.
I live/vote in Los Angeles County. I just got back from entering my votes into the completely opaque electronic hardware they use. LA county has some special deal going with one of the marxist voting machine manufacturing companies. It is all proprietary and nobody can look at the code or the hardware, which means that there is no way to verify that things are being transcribed, recorded and tabulated properly.
They did get rid of an obvious problem this go around. Before they had the electronic machine mark a piece of paper with your voting selections in the form of a QR code. There was no way to verify that it got your votes right. You had to trust that the proprietary software translated your votes to the correct QR code.
Now the machine prints out a human readable ballot with bubbles filled in by the machine. You double check the marks for accuracy and then you insert the paper ballot back into the machine for scanning. You have to trust that the scanner doesn’t change your vote upon scanning. Some college kids wrote scanner code to demonstrate that this is easy to do. Probably would take a few hours for me to write the code to flip votes and I don’t code much these days.
I overheard that the poll workers were noting that a lot more people were showing up to vote today (the official election day), than the previous few days the polls were open. This suggests that a substantial fraction of Republicans are probably waiting for election day to vote in person ( I live in a relatively conservative area, aside from the wealthy Chinese nationals that live all over the area). They were also saying that less people were voting in person, with many voting by mail now.
It seems that the longer term goal in LA is that they are going to force people to vote by mail. It was almost impossible to find where the voting centers were. They do not print it on ballot materials anymore and the website had the information on in person voting and voting centers buried very deep in the website menus.
So I can only hope that the proprietary machine didn’t flip my vote for PDJT to Nimarata Randhawa or DeSantis. I suspect that they immediately throw away all the paper ballots to ensure that the election can never be audited.
There is zero effort expended in maintaining chain of custody. People drive up and hand their ballots to people with no identification at ‘the drive through voting line”and you can vote by mail for about a month before and a month after election day.
No voter ID, because demoncrats know that minorities are not intelligent enough to be able to get drivers licenses and photo ID cards.
The “new arrivals” (brand new politically correct term for recently arrived illegal aliens) however automatically get registered to vote when they get drivers licenses.
Thanks for the good report.
I just call them Border Jumpers now.
RE: Biden and Haley
She needs to get out because she’s dividing the party and helping the dems. She’s constantly bashing Trump which is really making campaign Ads against Trump in the General elections, that’s why she needs to get her butt out of the race.
Hubby and I voted in Tennessee, a county that is probably 90% pro Trump. Most people vote early here, but the stream of voters today was steady.
North Carolina, Henderson County (south of Asheville):
I voted around 10:30 in my NC community south of Asheville and the turnout was pretty good but I wouldn’t call it huge. I only had to wait about 15 minutes to vote. Since in the past I’ve voted early, it’s hard to really gauge the turnout. From what I’ve read, the early voting turnout for the county was about 11%. The village hall parking lot was filled and newcomers were having to park on the grass, so that’s a good sign.
Two things stood out: For the first time – and thanks to our new conservative State Supreme Court – voters had to show ID and, while the election official held that ID, were required to state their name and address. In addition, unlike in the past several years, instead of touch-screen voting, ballots were hand-marked by filling in ovals and I was told that the machine that did the tallying also took a photograph of the ballot for the record. Whether this is required statewide or was a county, town, or even precinct thing I haven’t been able to determine; the election officials didn’t know themselves. Regardless, it was encouraging to see.
Outside of Trump, the biggest races for me were for the local school board and the state superintendent of public instruction, the latter post currently held by a RINO who apparently “grew” in office almost immediately and sides with every crazy Lefty miseducation idea out there.
As requested, NC’s primary is closed, but registered independents can choose a D or R ballot.
Thx, Paul.
I’m in CO. Our elections are all by mail, brought to us by the leftist billionaires who turned CO blue. It’s an open primary too. I used to drop my ballot off at city hall the day of the primary, but recently read it’s better to get it in earlier or someone else may have voted in your name and then your real vote wouldn’t count. I dropped it in the box at city hall last Wednesday, got email notification that it had been received and then a few days later that it had been counted.
I didn’t sign up for email notification, but I’ve communicated with the election office before. (Got a duplicate ballot for the general election a few years ago, 2008 I think, and notified them. They knew nothing about it but after checking into it, found several hundred duplicates had been sent out. They then claimed it was a practice run of a batch of ballots that shouldn’t have generated actual ballots and shouldn’t have been sent out. Sounded like BS.)
Went by city hall this morning and there was no activity there. The actual election office is at the county building (Big expensive building, mostly empty. I call it The Palace.) Doubt there’s much activity there either.
Missed the noon local news so I don’t know if that witch Jena Griswold had her mug on the news or if she’s holed up licking her wounds from the SCOTUS decision.
I heard what Mike Lindell had to say about Jena on Poso’s Human Events Daily show last night.
It was a treat!
What a shame that CO. went to “all by mail”.
It’s the sure way for Dems to win every time.
There have been reports of slow turnout and other reports of lines waiting to vote. I don’t think we can make much of these anecdotal reports without more context of the actual precincts. In the primaries and caucuses we have had thus far, some states have had slow turnout and others big turnout. We’ll just have to wait for tonight’s results, sorry to say.
Madison AL 9:30A 240 voters and steady rain and steady stream of voters. iD check, paper receipt for paper ballot. Electronic signatures. First time Libertarian primary. Wi fi in building but no clear voting connection as in past. Westpointmomma
Looks like Steve Garvey has a real chance in California 👍🏻
Has to be better than Pencilneck Schiff.
Not hard to be better than a seditious traitor.
Why am I in the doghouse? Posted and disappeared
I hope you get out.

Nikki Haley is funded by Democrats and her votes are from Democrats.
Why would Fox pretend as if it’s surprising Democrats want her to remain in the race?
Of course she helps them. She drains resources, corrupts data and could cause division.
Cortes was dumb enough to support Ron DeStablishment – so it’s no surprise he can’t get deeper on this issue either…
East Central AL here, now a part of metro Birmingham. There is, to me, an important item this time on the ballot. I did go earlier than usual. There wasn’t much activity, but I’d guess that’s because it was mid-morning. My congresscritter I voted for one of his two opponents. Given that, said squish is likely to survive the primary. I’m ridin’ on the Trump train tonight, woo woo. 🙂
Here in SW Maine, in my little town of 400 people, voting harkens back to a simpler time. Unfortunately, Maine does not have voter ID requirement, so you tell your name and address to the poll worker, and they check your name on the list. We also have ranked choice voting, so you can select your first, second and third choices for President. Trump, Vivek, Haley, DeSantis and some other guy were on the ballot. Your ballot is still valid if you select only one choice for President.
After filling it out…no lines to wait in…you put your paper ballot into a good sized wooden box that has a padlock on the lid. Ballots will be hand counted after the poll closes at 8 pm. You can chat with poll workers, so I asked if they had a good turnout…both guys said it was “pretty good”. My town voted for Biden in 2020 but it was not a lopsided victory. My congressional district voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020.
As a consequence of the recent SCOTUS ruling, our Soros funded, demo-commie SOS who originally said Trump should not be on the ballot, acquiesced and said votes for him would be counted. How Democratic of her!!!!
I pray Republicans in Maine will show up at the polls in droves, vote for Trump, and show our SOS she was WRONG…VERY WRONG!!!!!
Very slow here in my SLO County precinct this morning. It usually picks up later afternoon, plus a lot of ballot dropoffs and people who prefer to vote by mail. Hope Steve Garvey can drop kick Adam Schiff, but might be expecting too much
Should add California voter (sob)
Heyyyyyy, you don’t show Georgia on the Super Tuesday picture. I voted today, so I’m sure I didn’t get the wrong date.
I thought May 21 is Georgia’s. Did you vote for Trump or Niki?
Well, I guess I early voted rather than Super Tuesday voted. How did we get off the Super Tuesday list??
Barnstable, MA (open primary) was busy at 4pm today at the voting precinct. It will be interesting to see MA results.
As I launch off to go vote in-person in my recently consolidated polling place (read: much larger number of voters in a smaller venue) … it is apparent that CA no longer wants anyone to vote in-person. The local registrar is making voting in-person … harder and harder. And I’ve lived in my same home since 1984 … and ever since COVID made BREATHING in a polling place heresy … it’s gotten worse and worse.
I truly HATE this leftist State
In a California liberal town of 10,00 +/- all but one polling place has been closed. The only poll is in a century old Veterans building downtown on a heavily trafficked street where there is no nearby parking except one small parking lot. I had 4 calls and 4 texts from “The California Secty. of State” in Sacramento (state capitol) starting when paper ballots were MAILED to everyone 3 weeks ago.
But but but I thought it was the evil Republicans who wanted to make it hard to vote!
I concur. Voting in person used to be easy in my South Bay, Los Angeles location. For years and years, my polling place was at a park nearby that had a bunch of meeting rooms and lots of parking.
Now they set up the polling places at Middle and Elementary schools, while school is in session, so there is ZERO parking. You have to park blocks away and walk.
The website also hides the information on polling place locations and how to vote in person. All that information used to be in the material mailed to your home, but no longer.
It seems clear that there will soon be a push to eliminate in person voting soon, “for our safety”. The mailed material had loads of crap about wearing masks, free masks and sanitizer available and “Covid” safety. Absolutely nothing on how and where to vote in person.
California wine country where Thousands of vineyard workers are not citizens regardless of their legal status. They are working outside in the cold all day today in this pruning season. They may be counted as population but they cannot vote because they’re not citizens.
When asked “if war breaks out will you join US military or go back to Mexico?” All I asked quickly said they were going home, back to Mexico. All.
This is a Dem. run state, conservatives are openly insulted in this part of it.
There is a public intolerance for conservative views voiced.
So much for all the welfare programs, medical care, education, English as a 2nd language classrooms and the DEI hiring program, workers comp program, push 2 for Spanish, and every sign and form in English and Spanish.
The roads are very empty except for trucks and the morning commuter hours. 1:10 pm now. Yesterday 03-04-2024 grocery stores were half full. Almost as if people are lying low …just in case Trump gets all the Electoral votes today that he needs
Blessings to all you in CA wine country. My favorite movie is “Bottle Shock” and my favorite area is Russian River Valley within the Sonoma AVA. I found Napa too snooty…the home of The French Laundry, etc.
re. the Grocery Stores:
Could it have anything to do with trucks being stuck in the Mt. Passes?
Or people worried about that, so they stocked up?
I know one year when I was out in the PNW, a bad storm caused the passes to be shut down for several days and the Grocery stores ran low because of it.
I’m not far from you … where I’ve lived more or less continuously since a 9yo boy in 1965. My town was formerly solid RED conservative and my County, Contra Costa, was formerly solid RED conservative. No more. The State has flipped … forever … until there is open warfare between the haves and the have nots … which is rapidly coming. Only THEN will people become truly woke. Awakened by their own suicidal stupidity.
“But she’s a teeth talker”
Thank you Sundance, I have been trying to figure out a way to express the way that woman talks!
So Cal slow this morning. Hard to say the activity today at polling place since Cali is vote by mail. Went to vote in person.
Should mention that vote by mail seems to mask participation in the process and support for or against a candidate.
If you are Republican in CA, it is not safe to vote by mail. The return envelopes have holes in them that allow the postal workers to identify if the ballot is republican or demoncrat and dispose of the republican ballots.
It is absolutely ludicrous to do vote by mail. I am not OK with democrat voting government union employee handling my ballot in private, with no supervision with no means to secure the ballot.
There is zero ability to maintain chain of custody with mail in voting.
My son and I went to the polls to vote in MN at about 11:30 this morning. Absolutely quiet. We were #92 and #93. However, there may have been early voters and mail-in ballots.
