We all know the routine. Water-saving toilets that don’t flush (flush twice), water/energy-saving dishwashers and clothes washers that don’t clean (run two cycles), lightbulbs that don’t light, dryers that don’t dry (run twice), and all the ancillary nonsense that comes from the intervention of the regulatory state.
What Biden and the progressive movement call the “green new deal” effort toward “sustainability,” including the ban on gas stoves and internal combustion engines, simply results in a diminished quality of life, a loss in lifestyle productivity, and the exact opposite outcome from their expressed/intended purpose. It’s an abject mess of stupidity, pushed under the guise of environmentalism.
Today the Biden Dept of Energy (DOE) takes it one step further with rules and regulations on fridges, freezers and fans. {DOE LINK}
Residential Refrigerators and Freezers – The efficiency standards being adopted today for residential refrigerators, refrigerator-freezers, and freezers, which have not been updated in over a decade, align with recommendations from a diverse set of stakeholders, including manufacturers, the manufacturing trade association, energy, environmental, and consumer advocacy groups, states, and utilities. Compliance will be required either January 31, 2029, or January 31, 2030, depending on the configuration of the refrigerator or freezer. The energy savings over 30 years of shipments is 5.6 quadrillion British thermal units, which represents a savings of 11% relative to the energy use of products currently on the market. DOE estimates that the standards would save consumers $36.4 billion over 30 years of shipments and result in cumulative emission reductions of nearly 101 million metric tons of carbon dioxide—an amount roughly equivalent to the combined annual emissions of 12.7 million homes.
Commercial Fans and Blowers – DOE also released a proposed rulemaking for commercial fans and blowers that would reduce energy costs for American businesses by $3.3 billion annually. This proposal—the first federal standard for this product—follows the lead of efficiency standards already established by the state of California for general fans, extending savings to consumers nationwide and providing clarity for manufacturers. If adopted within DOE’s proposed timeframe, the new rule will come into effect in 2029. DOE estimates the new rule will reduce utility costs for American businesses by nearly $56 billion over 30 years of shipments, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 318 million metric tons—an amount roughly equivalent to the combined annual emissions of 40 million homes. Now we will see air conditioning units that don’t cool, fridges that don’t chill, freezers that don’t keep things frozen and fans that do not move air.
Eventually, the compliant generations still to come will be sitting around a campfire eating sustainable algae cakes and bugs, while picking parasites off each other, because progress, environmental justice – or ESG something.
Long time ago I was a director on the board of a multi national purchasing co-op for a restaurant conglomerate.
I learned it was wise to cut in half any “savings” the salesperson/vendor was representing. In this case I’d dismiss it 100%.
I’d love to see what the future energy cost projections are, just for fun.
Guarantee it’s all bull$hit
As Sundance points out, what are the actual water savings of a toilet you need to flush twice, or a washer you need to cycle twice, because its “using less water”?
Its all bullshyte.
Exactly, dutchman! I read an interesting post by Wayne Allyn Root on TGP today; he perfectly described how the Dems and many of the RINOs are getting rich off the gaslighting. They back Non-Profits, thyen get a kick back from said non-profit. The people currently “running” OUR Country care not one iota about us, their constituents, the electorate. THEY ARE ALL IN IT FOR THEMSELVES ($$$$$).
The American people are not the politicians constituents. The lobbyist, and cooperations are.
The sad part is the true believers don’t want you to cycle twice with any of these new appliances. Suppose to revert to that early 19th century lifestyle. But with smartphones and iPads.
“I need a…bucket….!”
Really glad we’re able to rebuild most items. Bought 240 regular 60 & 100 watt light bulbs when PDT allowed them to be sold over the hideous LED trash. Did the same with filters of all types. Drilled out the flow restricters on all the water faucets and bought enough rebuild kits for every appliance we could. Heat mostly with wood on “EPA” approved wood stoves with the catalytic burners removed for cleaning several years ago which haven’t found their way back in yet.
Outhouses to make a come-back!
Their projections are always bogus and poorly supported. All they need is a supporters study or analysis and they use that.
Covud let these mental cripples and petty despots grind 2hole economies to a halt. Now they’re drunk with power because no one has been held accountable. Granholm is particularly distasteful because she is clearly lacking in intelligence yet has all this power over our daily lives.
yesbut….she’s a female. new world order and all.
Completely agree. I have seen this as well where most of my neighbors have been conned into spending $25K to replace their “low efficiency” hot-water heating systems with some computer-controlled forced-air POS. They were promised a significant payback over the life of the system, but that never happens. Their gas bills are the same or higher and they are much less comfortable. They also lost me as their back-up neighbor emergency fixer since you need a laptop to troubleshoot/service most of these newer systems.
The sales people lie, the manufacturers lie, and the customers get screwed. Old west snake-oil salesmen weren’t such bad people compared to today’s con-men (and women).
While they sit in well air conditioned fortresses of solitude. FTA….collar up mis amigos. Reason number #9,765,903

Introducing OPPIDUM
Oppidum brings a paradigm shift to high-end personal protection.
Unlike a purely functional bunker, which is an exclusively practical contingency against rare and unlikely scenarios, Oppidum adds value to the owner’s primary residence by offering facilities such as a private art gallery, secure meeting lounge, comfortable bedroom suites, bespoke spa and other leisure amenities for everyday peacetime use.
We create spaces that are totally secure and utterly discreet yet sumptuously appointed and entirely bespoke – all underground, within your own domain.
You can be sure that you, your family and your most treasured possessions have a place of safety and comfort close at hand for as long as you need, whatever happens in the world outside.
That’s some next-level, Tony Stark bull-Scheiße…..!!!!
Nah. Gubt buildings are empty. Lights are still on, water running, ac and heat, but no one shows up anymore.
We could save a whole lot more energy if they just shut them all down, and delete the employees who allegedly work in them, for us.
But they won’t. FOMO
Just moved to a Mobile home that has a gas dryer. My old home had an electric dryer which took me about 30-35 minutes to dry my load of socks and underwear. I hung everything else out side. This mobile home gas dryer took me 4 hours to dry the same size load. The washer does not spin the clothes well and I had to put it thru a just spin cycle 4 times to eliminate extra water. I long for my acreage and old home
Is the gas dryer hooked up to a supply of gas? You also might clean the lint trap.
My gas dryer will dry 5 pairs of blue jeans in less than an hour.
Yep, that seems odd and worth an operational check. My place at the beach is all-electric but I kept my 30yo LP dryer which has worked flawlessly and will install a LP tank for it and the grill outside. Historically it blazed through drying jobs, even on ‘normal’ dry. It was a NG dryer that I converted to LP (regulator spring and smaller orifice) for country operations decades ago. Washer is of similar vintage. Zero problems. Only repair has been the water level switch, about 20 bucks in parts, around a decade ago.
I operate old stuff that still works fine out of respect for the environment since everything that went into it was long sourced and manufactured. Every part of the process has impacts and tossing or even recycling perfectly serviceable equipment has an environmental cost.
I often repurpose stuff as well, recycling unusable parts and putting useable ones into other equipment or new designs. Nearly everything is saved, even screws and nails.
Repairing electric appliances has become a DYI operation now-a-days. Tons of videos online and places like: Repair Clinic and Parts Select have replacement parts for darn near everything and exploded diagrams to find the part number.
My 20+ years old Kenmore washer and dryer are still working. Had an old-timey repair man out a few times to fix/replace old parts.
Sadly, the old-timey guys are even older than I am, and there is a major shortage of guys to replace them. My heart-felt thanks and gratitude to those men who came before me and did an honest days work, nay, a career’s work of working for We The People, to see that we had functioning appliances. God bless them, every one.
You tube. I do it all myself. Sometimes it takes a bit to find the right words to search, but I have fixed so many things. I call myself Bob Villa’s daughter now.
I’m still relatively young at 65 and there are plenty of my generation out there who still have the skills and work ethic. Finding them is another matter. I empathize with folks who don’t have mechanical skills or aptitude. How-to’s are nice, to be sure, a lot more informative than when I was young, but aptitude and tools are another matter.
I drag around a lineman bag that helps me do 9o% of the repairs I do and most of the people I help out don’t even have that level of tools, much less the tools and equipment I have in the garage and I left most of the machine shop back in CA to the buyer of the house.
I work now for free or barter. I choke on what contractors charge people these days. Heck I was nowhere near that in the shop and that was throwing seven figures of gear at jobs. I think we’ve lost the concept of reasonable profit margin. Now it’s take whatever one can and screw the rest. There was a time though when a reasonable profit margin and an asset based business were the norm. Sadly, those days are largely gone. Brave new world.
Retired electrician (residential) Still have my “bag” I tell my boys “the tools in this bag can fix almost anything” ! Most people don’t have a clue as to how to fix anything. I have a brother in law who 25 years ago had a flat tire on his bicycle. He went out and bought a new bike! I took his old one and still have it. My first house 48 years ago had a wood stove in it, I used to cut and chop my own wood. Sometimes the handle or the axe blade itself would get worn, No problem I go and buy a new handle or blade and replace it. In the meantime I frequently would sharpen the blade. The same brother in law came over to my house one day while I was sharpening the blade and he seriously asked me what was I doing? I sarcastically told him and he laughed and said just go buy a “new” blade. I laughed right back at him and said it must be nice. He was a high school teacher! Great guy but made too much Monet! Made him lazy and stupid.
BTW I get asked frequently by people to do some electrical work for them. Usually if it’s something simple I coach them through it on the phone, or I’ll go to their house and just fix the problem. They ask me “what do I owe ya” I just tell them to pay for whatever part I needed to fix their problem. I’m not out to get rich off other peoples problems. The funny part is whenever “I” ask for somebody’s help for anything I get a song and a dance as to why they can’t help me.
Interesting. I have a gas dryer that will dry a full load of towels in 45 min. Small suggestion: check the dryer exhaust pipe. A blockage or clog will result in the symptom you mention.
Have your gas company check your gas line to your dryer (should be free). Have a plumber check the actual dryer. That may cost for a house visit, but should bring you peace of mind that nothing is leaking or plugged up.
Mexico laughs and these naive gringos. Mexico wont “go green”, they will say “green-go, go home we dont need your stinkin green energy ideas.
It used to be “Yanky” go home…spelling is not an error….
Most of the World is laughing at us for many reasons. China, India, Russia, and most other South American, East and Mid-East Countries understand what is going on and they are taking FULL ADVANTAGE of this current regime.
IMO, Obama has unleashed a Frankenstein of the likes we have never seen before. Schwab, Soros, Kerry, Gates and the rest of the elite trash have over-estimated themselves and their power. They are one power deal short of calling themselves out.
And let us not forget the political minions, the Congress with their dirty hands in the pot to make an extra 10-20k with every deal….
Verdad!! We dry all our clothes on clothes lines. Great excerize. Mexican people blame the Democrat regime for inflation and estupdio ideas. We don’t need no stinking dryers!
You take the old refrigerator out of the kitchen and put it in the garage and plug it in next to the old freezer .
You buy the new refrigerator put it in the kitchen.
When the new fridge quits working you go to the garage.
Or you buy the used refrigerator that someone else in the neighborhood is getting rid of. I’m planning to buy a 20 year-old vehicle soon so I can put on antique plates and stop with the inspections.
FYI, you can’t get antique plates for your primary car.
Just watch me.
Yep, technically there are movement limits in some jurisdictions but where I live there are no cops around anyway. I see vehicles with no plates or expired registration all the time. Add in agreed value insurance and GTG. Pretty inexpensive here in OR. My oldest is 59 and lives mostly in the garage so it and the others like it get treated to historical plates. There’s always an event or car show somewhere 🙂
Autos provide another way of preserving history and being economical with the environment. History reminds us that electric cars were around over a century ago. They and steam cars provided choices for those who didn’t like the noisy, smelly, hard cranking, often unreliable gas cars of the day. Then things changed and people made different choices. Would I like to have an old Baker or Stanley in the garage? You betcha 🙂
Studebaker!!! Yes!!!
Gotta keep fixin’ the old stuff and don’t buy anything new . . .
That is what the Cubans do, out of necessity.
I’ve got a 37 year old Kelvinator in the basement running at -2 degrees consistently since 1986.
Commies…
Come bite me.
Hey, that’s the good ole Ozarks way. Back porch fridge. Works for years after being kicked out of the house by the wife. Makes a good back-up fridge for various food groups and other cans of “lubricant”…. 😉
Look at the Biden Regime thinking they control Mexic…oh, wait!
I want my incandescent bulbs back.
An old fashioned head-lights on cars…
And toilets that flush.
You didn’t buy a lifetime supply when they were getting rid of them?
I thought that Rush and I were the only ones that bought a huge Edison light bulb stash . . .
You were not.
My sons refer to the (considerable) inventory I still have as my estate.
Good for you. May your light bulb estate outlast the green menace . . .
Around Obozo’s first term, I remember some nutjob in the hardware store giving me grief for buying so many incandescent bulbs. She lectured me on how I would not be allowed to use them.
No..(weeping/knocking head against table). 😂
The Biden regime doesn’t ‘think’. Period. And I want my incandescent bulbs back, too!!
I have quite a few for sale or barter!
Baloney…all of it….
Who did not know this kind of control was coming??….raise your hand.
Trump/2024👍
I can’t wait for FILTHY LIBERALS to start being hunted.
Obama’s JIHAD on President Trump and Patriotic Americans still needs to be addressed via Quick Prosecutions and MAXIMUM PUNISHMENT.
Obamas entire Cabal of Anti American Cultural Marxists should be on a list for Grand Jury Investigations or Military Tribunals.
Put these Commie Bastards through Hell. Public Executions for these Coup Plotters.
I would declare a National Emergency due to Invasion and Infiltration and shutdown the TV Airwaves of Americans.
This is War.
Arrest the Enablers.
NEUTER THE MEDIA
Put them out of Business.
They are the Enemy.
No Quarter.
WOLVERINES!
Short of God’s own Armageddon, I wish there was a way.
Don’t count Him out. He always cleans things up, eventually.
When Trump got in last time, he removed some rule, maybe about shower heads ??
Similarly, he will remove all these rules, too.
Here is the major problem with duma$$ granholms tweet… blah blah blah “COULD BE, COULD ENABLE & COULD” being the operative words-
which means we have no f-in clue what would happen!
Yep. Weasel words from yet another Commie weasel.
It’s all a scam to get money flowing to their contracted cronies. Sad that other businesses get caught in the middle of their corruption and greed. Look at how much money the automakers have lost on making EVs that no one will buy.
The bad news is that the Democrats are forcing home owners to put this garbage in their homes in order to sell their houses now in CA. We can’t sell a house unless it has been “inspected” for “water saving” appliances now in my city (their list of approved “inspectors” of course). I was told we don’t have to do the needed replacements flagged by the “inspector” and can pass this on to the buyer, but “it will make it much harder to close in a timely manner in order to get the special paperwork needed from the city.” That sounds like a threat to me that they plan to make it impossible to close the sale. My advice: STAY OUT OF BLUE AREAS. Don’t ever buy property where Democrats are in charge of things. If you are in a Blue area, GET OUT NOW. This is only going to get worse.
Well said. That is it in a nutshell. Damn them all to hell!
It’s a scam alright, but not just about money. This is the Davosoros’ plan, get rid of the middle class and private property. They’ll never do it, but that doesn’t mean they’re not vandals that need to be packed off to some kind of home for the aged and insane.
Would be great to hear how one of their very expensive plans will benefit AMERICA(NS) once-in-a-while..
Wouldn’t haven any problems if we stop giving everything to everyone in the world and, if that’s not enough, we’ll just let the world come get what is left behind. Taxpayers being fleeced for taxes while we hand out money for war in Ukraine and let those who want to panhandle in our nation do so freely. Wonder where Biden and his many scums will go to when they die. I’m not sure Satan would trust having them where he is.
Simple answer = I WILL NOT COMPLY
About 30 million need to join you. Until then, we are at their mercy.
I daresay a large portion of rural conservative America is already in the ‘resist’ column. I’ve been part of that group for close to 50 years, once I worked enough to buy land in the country.
We don’t make a lot of noise so are easy to overlook. So far though, the Communists have made few inroads into our domain. The real test is when things go kinetic. However, most conservative stewards of the land despise war because it’s incredibly inefficient and destructive to the environment and disrespectful of the toils of the crafts and tradespeople who built what war destroys.
So, we’ll keep that in our back pocket and focus on resisting without projecting violence, for now.
So divide the estimated money saved OVER 30 YEARS (ridiculous on its face) by the population and it’ll save each person a WHOPPING $5.
It is simple. States should not comply. Move appliance manufacturing to your state. Ignore these federal regulations.
Excellent idea.
Jennifer Granholm has those bizarre “crazy eyes”. She may be one of the stupidest people in Xiden’s administration.
These DEATH-O-CRATS are repulsive, nauseating – and definitely not our friends.
Granholm is insane like the rest of The Kenyan’s cabal. All Commies and tyrants have that same empty soul crazy eyed look.
What a crock. These people are ideologs with no clue. They make up numbers and they all believe their own crap. Well over half of all fed gubmint depts need to go. They produce nothing. I will buy older refurbished appliances if / when I need to.
At least she enjoys her job.

This is INSANE!!
Welcome to the new America.
Every breath you take
Every move you make
They want to be controlling you
Every single day
Every word you say
They want to be controlling you
Oh, cant you see
They want you all to belong to their collective sheeple we
To rule all your life how their hearts do ache
With every step you take
They want to be controlling you
we will see an onslaught of tinnitus from twin blade turbo fans which do actually move more air per electrical amp at the cost of constant audible whine
Fascist and communist totalitarians want to control big and medium things. Democrats want to control everything. Nothing is too small for them to want to control. They are hyper-totalitarians.
Fascists and communists are libertarians compared to them.
And someone??? gets very very rich as appliances get replaced.
Look for wired in smoke alarms that all go off together when you cook sausages which don’t turn off and terrorise your pets….so you stop having pets.
This reminds me of the CDC telling us how much knowledge they have.
How much does Secretary Granholm get from the government of Mexico??
She is the female Alfred E Neuman…..a face that you’d love to punch. Ignorant as they come.
How about if we all load up assorted gas appliances onto a huge truck or many trucks and have them delivered to the Capitol and unloaded. The only problem is that would mean we would have to give them up and, sorry, I ain’t giving mine up. Nobody is getting into my house to take my stuff.
Protest is a good idea for those peaceful folks who are good at it. Me, not so much.
An interesting posit would be utilities cutting off NG service as part of going ‘gas-free’….. I know what I would do. However, I haven’t lived anywhere with such service since the early 80’s so am used to ad-hoc methods of energy like LP and, yeah, wood. For others, that might be oil or coal. People find a way.
It’sa psych-war. Beat us down, beat us down, beat us down. Hell’s too good for them.
“Now we will see air conditioning units that don’t cool, fridges that don’t chill, freezers that don’t keep things frozen and fans that do not move air.”
I bought a Whirlpool fridge almost a year ago. It lasted 6 months before freezing everything. After 4 repairs from July through early this month, 3 repairs where they replaced the same part over and over, they finally replaced every part in the fridge including the electronic control board. It was unusable during that period because you could never trust if it would freeze everything solid. I still don’t trust it. Clearly they were running out the clock on their warranty.
Their social media pages are full of woke nonsense. They became a $60 billion company by ripping off customers all over the world.
These nonsense regulations will make things worse.
The efficiency standards being adopted today for residential refrigerators, refrigerator-freezers, and freezers, which have not been updated in over a decade… (emphasis mine)
This highlights a truism I always note: Progressivism always requires a next step because if it couldn’t make “progress” it would cease to exist.
They live for and make money off the process. Their goal is to keep the process going.
They are not into problem-solving. Never were. Never will be.
The problems they create are stepping stones to their goal of keeping the process going.
“The problems they create are stepping stones to their goal of keeping the process going.”
So…you’re saying that Progressivism really is a perpetual motion machine?
“Hey Merle! I’ve solved the energy crisis!!! /s
About that…
“One energy company that services Colorado, Xcel Energy, offers an option called the ‘AC Rewards Smart Thermostat Program,’ promising those who opt-in a one-time $100 enrollment credit applied to their energy bill, along with an additional $25 per year of participation. The catch? The company can prevent customers from increasing their air conditioning usage past a certain level during days where power grids are strained.
According to a report from Denver 7, many customers were shocked on Tuesday when they lost the ability to turn their AC setting down on a 90-degree day, locked out of their thermostats by a message that read ‘energy emergency’…
While opting out can be done at any time, the threshold for where air conditioners will be set on hot days does not seem to be clearly listed on the website page related to the service. The page also notes that ’emergencies may cause a control event that cannot be overridden.'”
-Energy company donates to political campaigns.
-Politicians enact policies which raise energy costs.
-Politicians grant taxpayer money to energy company for “rebates” and “incentives” to offset rising costs but ties them to a “Smart Program.”
-Smart Program now hard-caps consumer energy usage during “emergencies” caused by the politicians’ and the energy company’s poor management and policies.
-Consumer finds self paying more for less energy with less freedom to use it.
Welcome to the digital plantation.
And what would constitute an “energy emergency”? Because we said so.
Yep, doing the same thing in the Seattle are.
Our Last Ford F-150 Lightning EV Pickup Road Trip Was a Nightmare (motortrend.com)
Already happened to me in N.J 15 years ago. I just had both of theAC units replace 2 years ago and never revoked up the devise they installed. The deal was they gave me a one time discount of $100. off of my bill to install the devises and if I disconnected them I would owe them $100. ! They came out just this summer and replaced my meter with one that they could read from the office. No more meter reader coming to the house.
With all the crazy insane nonsense these leftist clowns and Marxist trash are pushing, there comes a time when we all just have to say, and pardon my expression, F*** these people!!
Seriously, enough was enough a long time ago!
Time to make a parallel economy. Time to stop buying the BS. Time to mock them and ignore the fiats and dictats of psychotic arseholes.
Literally just ignore them, have our own normals, keep producing the things we need, and just ignore these psychos.
We are way, way way, far past the time to end this clown show of the left, by whatever means we have. I dont advocate for violence, but the way this crap is going, they will force that at some point.
Be prepared to defend you and yours. These idiots are evil, and they wont stop unless they are forced to. I think most of us understand this.
There’s been a parallel economy around for a long time. This of us who live/lived in areas with large illegal populations have long been aware of it. I called it the underground economy for decades. Replacing the mainstream economy with it locally would take some work but is doable. It depends on citizens cooperating with each other and eschewing those in power and their enforcers.
A distant comparison IMO would be the underground economy in France during WW2 and the Resistance which opposed the Nazis and Vichy government there. They found a way, even with summary execution staring them in the face.
One thing they will never tamper with is the electronic devices needed to track and control all aspects of The Sheeple’s ™ lives.
Sounds like this maroon is more concerned with Mexico prosperity than America’s. How is it that unelected people in positions in feral agencies can dictate lifestyle?
Foresight and planning. She needs a prosperous Mexico so she will have somewhere to run to when forced into exile.
Mexico. So, friggin’ special. Just another offshore grift for Chinese stuff via Mexico.
There’s a good chance that if people would clean the bottom refrigerator compressor coils they would save at least double or triple the amount that the voodoo government data is projecting for their new spiffy cooling systems (the existing ones are very high efficiency anyway). But, never get in the way of the government doing stupid things, as they say.
That’s right…pop that front grill off at the bottom and look under your frig at your coils. It probably looks like the hair/dust ball from hell. That impedes the air flow on the hot compressed coolant. We have 2 doggos, tile floors, and sugar sand outside. I have to do it often. You can buy accessories to do it with your vacuum or just duct tape some flexible 1/2″ tubing to the end of the vacuum hose.
And, don’t sell that frig.
I thought I was the only one who duct taped flexible tubing to one of the many extra vacuum cleaners my wife has. Also can work on the dryer with the lint.
Pray and help others
Maybe I should keep my 1968 avocado green garage refrigerator a little while longer.
Growing, we had a Servel (spelling may be wrong) gas refrigerator in our kitchen until the early 1970s. Just think how that would drive the greenbats crazy. My parents sold it to someone that was going to put it into a hunting cabin after converting it to propane. They are still made!
what a pair, granholm who hid her hubby’s investments and the bobblehead buffoon w their insufferable regs. The green new deal lunacy continually hides the fact that EV batteries CAN’T BE RECYCLED! Are we going to create garbage space stations where these will be sent??? Guess obummer and WEF devotees haven’t figured that out yet…
One of the outside decorative garage lights failed. The led was flashing like a Travolta disco ball.
In the past it would take 30 seconds to change the 19 cent lightbulb.
This time it took a $35 replacement kit from led supply and inclding research was a four hour task to jerry rig it in.
It would have been easier to replace both fixtures for what, a $150 bucks?
I noticed that one crucial stakeholder was missing from the “diverse” set; we the people.
Granholm is a operative moron…she and her Administration ilk will do more and more of these asinine moves in the same manner they forced washers to be so “efficient” they simply don’t fill with enough water to actually wash clothes (kind of a basic premise…but this is government imbeciles who don;t do their own laundry).
Same with new dishwashers, cycles are 3+hours long…yeah, energy efficient…all to “save the planet”. This is more of the “squelch democracy in order to save democracy” bravo sierra at the hands of people who simply are not that smart, but they do have power.
Their sustainability bullshit is unsustainable.Communism is deadly and unsustainable yet they keep on trying to arrive there by any means possible.Stealing elections is surely not sustainable.
Shit gonna hit the fan one day,,,,,,,,,,,………just keep it up.
The GOP will fund-raise off of crap like this, but they are being very dishonest when they do. Who created these regulatory agencies and who gave them their law-making authority? It’s certainly nowhere in the Constitution. Congress did and it was all done either led by republicans or with significant assistance from republicans.
Politicians are lazy crooks. They don’t want to vote on anything they don’t have to so why not let the regulatory mafia do it. They can then demagogue the issue when it’s convenient or just ignore it if the conversation gets too difficult.
Congress could undo all of the law-making authority every agency has, but it would then mean they have to stand-tall and be accountable. It’ll never happen.
These people are insane or they are preparing to make a lot of money off China.
Besides their wicked ways, which we all know by now, there have been some improvements – not their doing of course, to their chagrin.
When they came out with fluorescent light bulbs I never even looked at them. LED light bulbs, a whole different story once the tech matured. After testing I went all ELD. All dimmer capable. And with different light temperatures, like say, daylight temp in the kitchen for cooking.
All private and controlled both from our phones or wall switches, whichever.
I’m never going back to incandescent. Makes no sense at all. Savings? about $200 a year, not much but I don’t have to get on a ladder to change a bulb all the time.
Ive asked many times online,Why dont these governments have GREEN IMMIGRATION policies, millions of new residents don’t breath, drive, use heating, air conditioning??.Why isn’t anybody beating them over the head with this every day??
I was banned from another site using a descriptive work for Granholm. But I’ll use it again here since it fits so wonderfully on her. That word is IDIOT!!!
“…align with recommendations from a diverse set of stakeholders, including manufacturers, the manufacturing trade association, energy, environmental, and consumer advocacy groups, states, and utilities.” This is an absolute lie. If manufacturers wanted to make efficiency better they could just do it. I’m sure they would because they care so much about us. I haven’t heard any states saying oh please government make things more efficient for us and if the states wanted more efficient things they could pass their own laws to do that, just like abortion or not. Manufacturing trade associations, REALLY, yes I’ve heard them clamoring for this, I’m sure all those blue collar workers are all up in arms over how inefficient everything is, and those utilities, I’m sure they’re just apopleptic about the inefficiency of everything. GIVE ME A BREAK. What a bunch of filth. They are filthy liars every one.
Granholm being the secretary of energy, is like the drooling house plant squatting in the white house. Both are imbeciles, unqualified to be in those positions.
