As the election results continued unfolding, Democrats and DSA candidates took control of the House and the Senate. With the outcome still being tabulated, around midnight President Trump gave a lengthy interview to Brett Baeir and Fox News.
In the aggregate the MAGA movement, like the Tea Party that preceded it, was neither Democrat nor Republican. A person only needed to look at the issue(s) of borders, immigration, illegal aliens, H1B’s etc., to notice the outcome was the same with the D or R. The same was true for American jobs and the insufferable march to a ‘service driven economy.’ The movement that supports Donald Trump was never Democrat or Republican; it was/is a coalition of historically unrepresented voters, essentially a third party.
Trump’s supporters represent a third party in a two-party system. This was always problematic. Professional Democrats, leftists writ large, hate Donald Trump. The Professionally Republican also dislike him immensely.
The 3rd party coalition lost fulcrum stability on the issue of War and Peace (Israel, Iran). Democrats and Republicans then pounced on every subset of special interest within the coalition to emphasize friction and division. The dividers blamed Israel and the Iran conflict for every negative outcome in everything, some valid – most not. That was enough to maintain the instability while dividers drumbeat the issue of (put _ your _ topic _ here).
“It ought to be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to take in hand, more perilous to conduct, or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction of a new order of things. Because the innovator has for enemies all those who have done well under the old conditions, and lukewarm defenders in those who may do well under the new.”
From my view; from my very personal view; from the perspective of a root cause; when you peel all the skin away from the onion and evaluate the problem from the central core, the underlying point where the atom splits, the problem is Susie Wiles.
Bad advice and counsel as a matter of elevated, aloof incompetence; or is it purposeful, controlling intent?
Given the fact that we can track the ‘disconnect‘ to the transition period and earlier, and overlaying the Vanity Fair nonsense that was ego-driven and right in the middle, I lean toward the latter.
Regardless of incompetence or intent, there’s a pattern of bad advice and counsel.
Donald Trump’s loyalty and grace is both a virtue and a vice.

be honest, he blew it. If someone can’t take the blame for their actions, I have no interest anymore
Bye!
Until Oct 1, I lived in NC. I didn’t know anything a out the GOP candidate or any of his policies. I could not pick him out of a line up. And I follow politics. His predecessors were two repulsive rinos that hated Trump and fought every policy that he had. The GOP of NC is pretty much corrupt. Is this the fault of Trump?
Almost all state level GOP are as corrupt as those in the senate and congress.
A cast majority of GOP would rather sacrifice this country and its freedoms and foundation than fight for it and fix it.
I smelled a worthless rat on the day PDJT introduced Ms Susie and have always believed she is nothing more than a Pam Bondi 2.0 but worse.
Add in the facts that the gop would not confirm Trump’s nominees, pass the save act and pretty much fought him on every issue.
I don’t doubt the bad advice and counsel was delivered with intent to him to derail his best intentions. But the reality is those bad decisions have cost us, and I don’t blame trump. Mostly all the spineless, backstabbing Rinos. Just a shame. I hope Trump goes scorched earth where he can and if possible eliminates usmca, partners with russia, and vetos more than any other president.
JD Rucker: “I believe the Republican Party’s historic collapse is part of God’s plan, and unfortunately for America, that plan runs straight through Zechariah 12:3, Revelation 16:16, and Revelation 19:19.”
Unfortunately, I agree…
For the most part, the church is as divided as the rest of the country and therefore has lost its salt.
The Iran war lost it for us…dumb! Shoulda waited until after the midterms. He made his bed – now we all have to lie in it! Oh well! Buckle up – its gonna be a long ride. If the Ds win the presidency, kiss it all goodbye!
I have never and will never be a Republican. I have always been a conservative independent. The GOP doesn’t represent me
