We all know the routine. Water-saving toilets that don’t flush (flush twice), water/energy-saving dishwashers and clothes washers that don’t clean (run two cycles), lightbulbs that don’t light, dryers that don’t dry (run twice), and all the ancillary nonsense that comes from the intervention of the regulatory state.
What Biden and the progressive movement call the “green new deal” effort toward “sustainability,” including the ban on gas stoves and internal combustion engines, simply results in a diminished quality of life, a loss in lifestyle productivity, and the exact opposite outcome from their expressed/intended purpose. It’s an abject mess of stupidity, pushed under the guise of environmentalism.
Today the Biden Dept of Energy (DOE) takes it one step further with rules and regulations on fridges, freezers and fans. {DOE LINK}
Residential Refrigerators and Freezers – The efficiency standards being adopted today for residential refrigerators, refrigerator-freezers, and freezers, which have not been updated in over a decade, align with recommendations from a diverse set of stakeholders, including manufacturers, the manufacturing trade association, energy, environmental, and consumer advocacy groups, states, and utilities. Compliance will be required either January 31, 2029, or January 31, 2030, depending on the configuration of the refrigerator or freezer. The energy savings over 30 years of shipments is 5.6 quadrillion British thermal units, which represents a savings of 11% relative to the energy use of products currently on the market. DOE estimates that the standards would save consumers $36.4 billion over 30 years of shipments and result in cumulative emission reductions of nearly 101 million metric tons of carbon dioxide—an amount roughly equivalent to the combined annual emissions of 12.7 million homes.
Commercial Fans and Blowers – DOE also released a proposed rulemaking for commercial fans and blowers that would reduce energy costs for American businesses by $3.3 billion annually. This proposal—the first federal standard for this product—follows the lead of efficiency standards already established by the state of California for general fans, extending savings to consumers nationwide and providing clarity for manufacturers. If adopted within DOE’s proposed timeframe, the new rule will come into effect in 2029. DOE estimates the new rule will reduce utility costs for American businesses by nearly $56 billion over 30 years of shipments, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 318 million metric tons—an amount roughly equivalent to the combined annual emissions of 40 million homes. (MORE)
Now we will see air conditioning units that don’t cool, fridges that don’t chill, freezers that don’t keep things frozen and fans that do not move air.
Eventually, the compliant generations still to come will be sitting around a campfire eating sustainable algae cakes and bugs, while picking parasites off each other, because progress, environmental justice – or ESG something.
An entire industry built on fear.
And lies.
And hypocrisy.
When a govt instills fear in their people, then threatens them when they start to question edicts, bad things inevitably happen.
IMO, heads should be put on pikes for future leaders to consider doing these things to people.
Many pikes.
These communists all need purging from this nation
I wish we had Rush and the Rush Hawkins Singers. Thank the Lord Rush Limbaughs on.
Love that song.
Sure do miss the great one
Oh that was awesome!
Priceless!
Amen, Amen, Amen….brothers and sisters….!
Thank you for a very sad happy.
That made me happy and sad. Miss that man!
I miss Rush Limbaugh and his exceptional comments.

Happy New Year (when it comes) to you and all on here.
I refrained from mentioning him, Patrick, though he was/is on my list. Bless you always, dear sir. And I wish for you and all you love a New Year which delivers better times and good health. You in ow…the things that actually matter🙏🏻🕊 Be well, my friend, and thank you 😘

Thank you, cell….interestingly on our Open Thread this morning the first devotional focuses on what I am seeing in the lower right corner of your link, Acts 14:17. Coincidence? I think not…
Love it! Check out the Unitarian Church website. It states they “live their faith” by “promoting progressive causes”. You’ll find tabs for solar power, gay rights, removing Trump, supporting Hamas, vaccines, endorsing butchering little kids for trans care, all under the banner of “diversity” and “inclusion”. They plainly state being a leftist loon is their religion. Heck, they’re even a tax free organization! Is this a great country, or what?
So Almighty God has been shown the door….and not even to the back pew. There are too many churches like that. Our Father kicked out of His own house.
And so the Holy Spirit has departed these apostate churches. I doubt any have noticed…yet.
Adding millions of illegal invaders carbon footprints via immigration, would show anyone with a modicum of common sense that the whole damn thing is bs
True, it is being done intentionally and by design. Not an “oopsy”.
.
Exactly.
Any savings achieved will be offset by the increase in usage.
This Grisham dolt would not know logic if it was shoved up her analytics . . .
Yes the same wonderful invasion that destroyed my avocado grove and part on my income. Angry isn’t the word I’d exactly use.
My sincere condolences. Immigration has been my #1 issue since like forever and initially why I went Pat Buchanan starting in 92 his first Make America First Again campaign
I miss my country. I miss it so dearly.
Little did I know that Ozzy Osbourne was singing about the government when he sang Crazy Train.
Please let me off this train…
FJB, FBO & FtheDS!
And watch eventually they will only sell one style of fridge so everyone has
the same one and no feels left out or that someone has a nicer one than they do.
I will keep on enjoying my ceiling fans and the fan from years ago my mom
got with S&H green stamps it still works….and quite well…though a bit noisy.
S&H Green Stamps – Now there’s a genuine article blast from the past. You just reminded me of my mother, and the two of us pasting the stamps into the little books. Thank you.
If Grantholm (sp?) wants to get serious about Conservation of Resources, check with us, the children and grandchildren of the Great Depression and WWII generations. Those folks knew how to husband household resources.
I was mom’s official green stamp licker. I hated it
Oh no! What will Nancy Pelosi do to keep her ice cream frozen??? Like her face…
The rules are for us, not them.
Congress will exclude itself and their donors.
Remember, Bill Gates said they should not be subject to these limitations as they jet around the globe because of all the good things they do.
Meeting our grandchildren today. My middle one (a PhD research scientist) one of the few realists who eschews the Chinese Flu non vaccines and the global warming scam, was astounded when I told him I was 9 years old before we had electricity in rural Ireland. He could not imagine sitting in his back yard rubbing two sticks together to light a fire to cook his ration of bugs for dinner, as the candles indoor would not allow him to see in the dark.
Mind you I sent him away to ponder what would happen when the fires of hell are denied enough coal to keep the furnace burning.
My Mom remembered when the Rural Electrification Project came through southern WI in 1936 or 38. Grandma turned on the kitchen light for the first time, looked around, and spent the next day cleaning.
My mother-in-law remembered moving from Oklahoma to Texas in a COVERED WAGON – in 1921. 200 miles in a week. Not everybody had cars even a hundred years ago. She taught me what a wagon yard was. Cool.
Well water only at the kitchen sink. The rest was cistern water from the roof run off and you didn’t drink it unless you were ‘used to drinking it’. Grandpa would go stick a pole into the cistern and check the water level before ‘bath time’.
We are paying people to sit around and come up with this crap so they can feel like they accomplished something. Our government has TOO MUCH OF OUR MONEY!
Shenna Bellows graduated magna cum laude. Her senior thesis dealt with economic and environmental sustainability.
These mis/mal/dis-educated technocrats all over the place looking to enter the Inner Party ranks.
Apparently this one got bored sitting around and decided to venture into new areas of crap creation.
Bellows is filled with hot air 🙂
My in-laws had a cow named “Bellows”…they eventually butchered her.
I heard about that…
I was in udder disbelief 🙂
It is their “democracy”
Democracy= Two wolves and a sheep deciding what’s for dinner.
Anytime you hear a leftard says the word democracy, you know what follows is a damn lie.
I am so, so, so, so, f’kn fed up with these idiots! Damn man, where and when does this end????
And we have way too much government.
The universities are pumping these intellectual cripples out by the truckload.
Sundance, you captured the essence of the Granholm chick with this photo. She is doofy as he!! which makes her that much more dangerous.
Hopefully this will jump-start the industry on self-preservation methods such as dehydrating and canning. And teaching our families how to do these things.
How does one dehydrate bugs and can algae? Asking for a friend!
Seriously, I am actually working on the first.
Aquaponics is raising fish to eat, and cycling their tank water over growvbeds which clean the water of nitrites that would otherwise build up and poison the fish, converting the nitraites into nitrates which fertilise thevplants in the grow beds.
So, once set up thevmain input, othercthan a little solar generated electricity to run the pumps, is fish food.
Think is, in the wild trout and talapi get almost all of their nutrition from eating bugs,..so I am working on using bug zappers, traps etc. to get large quantities of bugs to grind up (fish won’t generally eat dead bugs) into a “mash” that I dry out to make fish food.
Chickens ancestors (doves) also mainly live on BUGS, ..so yes we may, in fact end up eating bugs, after they are cycled thru chickens and fish, lol.
That Granholm chick with the man’s hands!
And the belt?!!
As Judge Judy once said something…about “the eyebrows”….
Just a simple compare and contrast…
Donald John Trump, focuses on the Forgotten Man and Woman and their economic travails – he understands that ALL Governmental Regulations no matter how well the intention ALWAYS hurts the little guy.
Joseph Robinette ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Biden, focuses on all the Liberal/Progressive hot topics and to hell will the economic consequences – he DOESN’T care and DOES NOT WANT to understand how Governmental Regulations no matter now poorly thought out ALWAYS hurts the little guy.
The installed UniParty occupants of the WH and Congress are acting as if though they are passing the baton of death to Gavin Newsom in 300 days or something. I wonder why
Thinking the same thing.
Damien von Hairgel on deck.
Don’t forget Newsom signed off on banning new car sales of combustible engines by 2035.
What a bunch of horse crap! My “energy-saving” washer doesn’t pump in enough water to clean! I miss my old one.
Speed Queen commercial units, which you can buy, still work. They aren’t cheap though. But they will clean like that 1975 Maytag your mom had back in the day.
And I bought a set two years ago!!!!!
CLEAN LAUNDRY AGAIN!!
HALLELUJAH!!
Exactly so. I tired of buying a new but junky machine, and spent the money on a Speed Queen about a year ago. Best move I’ve made regarding appliance purchases in decades.
They are worth every cent they cost in lack of being frustrated in washer quality. Loads are done in 1/2 the time with a spin that makes drying time being cut in half. They seldom get into any situation where unbalanced loads happen. The engineers actually left enough room for a handy person to do any repairs without being cut up crimped spaces and sharp edges. My current SQ is 5 years old without any repairs.
I regret not buying Speed Queen. May have to rectify that at some point. I had a Maytag for almost 18 years until the transmission went. Maybe I should’ve replaced the transmission. $$$$
We threw out our “water saver” after a year….totally worthless. Shredded our clothes and left them still stinky. I wrote to everyone and put on every message board that if I had beat my clothes on a rock down at the creek, they would have been cleaner.
Went to Amish country and bought a Speed Queen. It’s almost as good as our old Maytags that washed all our farm clothes long ago.
My mother had a washer that had a suds saver feature because people tried to save money on laundry soap. She would wash a load of whites and the hoe soapy water pumped out into a holding tank then she would do a load of light colored and it would pump the water back into the washer after that she would do a load of work cloths and pump the then dirty water down the drain.
Mexico… Mexico… Mexico…
Which government does Granholm work for again?
Oh, right. The one in Davos.
We Mexicans don’t want her stinking azz.
Nonsense in government won’t stop until we stop it.
And as much as we’d like to stop it with the cast of our vote, we already know that does not work.
What to do ?
Voting…how quaint.
“Eventually, the compliant generations still to come will be sitting around a campfire eating sustainable algae cakes and bugs, while picking parasites off each other, because progress, environmental justice – or ESG something.”
Sundance, you are wrong. Campfires won’t be allowed either!
Only the idiotic and compliant generations in western nations.
The intelligent and mobile ones are already on the move.
We know of several young men 28-34 or so that gave up good careers, as they refused the jab.
The world is a big place, and the western nations are
In the opinion of many committing a mass suicide.
We are being ruled by narcissistic sociopaths at all levels.
They will never change…individuals and their loved ones best prepare.
Cheers!
If I were young and mobile, I would consider immigrating to Russia…
Have you seen this? https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/18270734.14m-trees-cut-scotland-make-way-wind-farms/
None of them will be alive if they keep getting boosted…
The die has already been cast, BFWA.
Problem is – I don’t believe any (or most) of the corrupt, leftwing Government high office holders got any jabs. At most I think they were given old fashioned flu shots that were the older and proven technology, NOT mRNA…
I got none.
UNELECTED BUREAUCRAT DUMMY Granholm sure is enjoying being a dictator. I wonder how much she has “enriched” herself since her appointment??
What personal choices can we make to resist?
I’m on 100% hydro here in the forest and my bet is the Commies will pry my old working appliances from my dead corpse before anything new replaces them.
Last full size refer I bought went for free to the buyers of my house in CA and it was 30 years old and still running fine. My new place has had absorption refers for about a decade, small ones, designed for off-grid operation.
I have no air conditioning. Don’t need it. Nature provides modest temperatures all year round.
Typical A/C motor fans are ridiculously efficient. Put a killawatt meter on them and see. I have.
Most inefficient stuff at my new place was lighting so I switched the house to LED and took the old fixtures to the outbuildings where incandescent and CFL live on in infrequent use. I didn’t switch due to energy consumption, rather for fixture and light, both aiding my old eyes to see better in the often dark confines of the forest.
I just replaced the flush stack/flapper fixture in one of the old toilets and noted the build date, May 1982. After 40+ years, the stack to tank gasket finally started seeping, draining the tank into the bowl and downstream into the septic at a very slow rate. Simple fix, cost under 8 bucks. I make my own water and the cost is very low but the noise was annoying so I fixed it. I expect those toilets to still be there when I die. 3 gallon or 5 gallon or whatever they are. Keeps the Brandon’s I take every day moving.
Resist. Some of us have built our lives around resisting intrusions on our freedom and liberty. I keep spare parts in inventory, both for myself and others in the village. Never know when the SHTF. 🙂
Great Stuff!
We are infants compared to you, but are improving.
Although we have stuff, and live in a “nice hood” our garage has two dryers, a washing machine, a fridge, two generators and two compressors.
A “ mint” set of the W and D cost a $100.00 from a wealthy guys renovation.
The rest were free work, and are being saved for the “ rainy day” that’s coming.
Cheers!
Great stopgap measures; but it’s compliance, when what we need is defiance. If we remain powerless, they will eventually come and take anything/everything we own/create for independent sustenance.
Exactly!
All we need is a more people to NOT COMPLY with all this bu!!shit
Unfortunately, there is a super majority of idiot sheep that comply with all these mandates and regulations without a thought.
These idiots deserve everything coming, including eating melted ice cream in their warm government issued apartment during the summer 😀
“I just replaced the flush stack/flapper fixture…….”
Well, good news! At least when SHTF you will be able to flush it!
slowly at first….
I wonder if this new Kill Switch Mandate will someday be tied to a carbon credit allotment…
“The legislation then goes on to define the technology as a computer system that can ‘passively monitor the performance of a driver of a motor vehicle’ and can ‘prevent or limit motor vehicle operation if an impairment is detected’ (emphasis added).
How the system will make this determination is unclear, as is the government’s potential role in apprehending suspected drunk drivers (more on that later).
But the law’s language could not be more clear: New motor vehicles must have a computer system to ‘monitor’ drivers, and the system must be able to prevent vehicle operation if it detects impairment.”
Nah, couldn’t be the first step to control driving and impose mileage caps. It’s all about protecting us from drunk drivers.
“Open the pod bay door, HAL!”
“NO, I have detrirmined that you have exceeded your allotment of carbon credits for the month.”
We already have refrigerators that break prematurely . Another wonderful idea from the rules for thee but not for me crowd.
They break prematurely and no one wants to work on them…if, a big if, they can get the parts.
There is an argument to be made that they are deliberately designed to break prematurely, particularly the “newer” they are.
its called planned obsolescence and has been going on in manufacturing for decades
example: I purchased a new Buick in the 80’s and as an on the road sales rep
I put 60,000 + miles on the first year. Everything went wrong with the car at
that point.
I switched to Toyota and have had a few models over the years. I no longer put
that many miles on a car and typically drive the car to 100,000 miles+.
I have not had one ounce of trouble with any of them.
Republicans are in on this. They hate you. These people are insulated – from killing you softly.
🎯
We own a lovely old cottage on the Pacific Ocean, it is approx 110 years and is built of locally milled Fir.
“ the dirt “ is worth a few Buck however we keep it very, very simple.
So much so that although the home had a natural gas furnace when we bought it nearly 25 years ago.
We removed it, and cancelled the service, as it was costing about $40.00 per month in taxes and levies whether one used gas or not.
The gas company came and padlocked the meter.
We had upgraded the fireplace with a wood insert, and the home is now warmer and more comfortable than before.
We source wood for free and have a hydraulic splitter.
Folks all around us are seeing what’s going on, and adapting.
The human spirit will always survive.
Cheers!
cooking over wood coals is the best
Even better…cooking on a flattop stove with instant heat. 🤣
Yes, my friend…it is 🙏🏻

Their goal is not to make our lives better, but to make our lives so miserable that we will beg our leaders to make the pain and suffering stop, and they will grant our wish, but only if we accept the abolition of our US Constitution and Bill of Rights, and subordinate ourselves to the UN-WEF Agenda 21/2030 SDGs, ESG, and DEI dictates.
I would say The US Constitution is long gone and the Bill of Rights as well. The subordination to Alphabet Agencies is well on its way.
the equipment breaks quickly no matter whether one buys expensive or cheap. our family has been through three very expensive fridges in the past three years. cost of the unit was $3500. got the warranty from lowes. each was replaced with a new unit due to some sort of malfunction.
i gave up. due to unreliability i have three fridges and two freezers on-site. once a unit breaks down we can shift stuff to a working unit until a replacement is bought etc.
same with washers, dryers and dish washers. bought an expensive kitchen aide dishwasher. lasted a couple years. this time I bought a cheap unit.
basically, this is just the cost of doing business in the train wreck formally known as these United States.
And the HYPOCRISY of appliances going into a landfill every few years!! It boggles the mind!
“………bought an expensive kitchen aide dishwasher.”
All depends on when you bought it, I guess. The kitchen aide dishwasher at grandma’s house was new in the early sixties. That one only lasted a little over thirty five years.
Oh, our three year old dishwasher broke over a month ago, still waiting on the part. The repair guy has been here three times so far. I got the extended warranty, which I usually do not do, otherwise I would have probably chucked it to the curb already. And it’s a GE Profile, not some fancy Miele or Bosch unit. There’re just the two of us here, it’ not like we ran the thing three times a day or something.
When I moved towards in 1986, the 1869 Victorian home we bought had no automatic dishwasher. I’d grown up with one…
How on earth would I cope!! 😬
I hand washed and dried everything for the 20 years I lived there; and when I came back to the States seventeen years ago, I continued as I had done.
Our house here has a dishwasher which has never been used, and I cannot imagine ever doing so.
Me too. I also hang everything outside. Not because I NEED to. It makes everything smell wonderful. I won’t even wash bedding on a rainy day. Small things make me happy
I kinda chuckled when the buyers of my CA place gutted the house and tossed all the built-ins in favor of the newfangled stuff. Since I was still clearing out the shop, I got to see the remodel process as they proceeded after I sold the place to them.
Two items that were original to the house and gave me zero trouble during my 35 years of ownership were, wait for it, the wall oven and the dishwasher. The former was a Whirlpool and the latter Hobart. But wait, it gets better….. the ID tags on them placed their build dates to when the house was built in the late 1960’s.
So, when I sold the place in 2023, they were 55 or so years old. Imagine a 55 yo dishwasher still washing dishes. Clunk, clank, clunk went the mechanical timers and switches. Day in and day out for a half century. Never mind the oven. Only thing I ever replaced was the light bulb. One time.
Are the new ovens and dishwashers more energy efficient? I’ll bet they are. However, I look at the total environmental impact because, well, I manufactured things for decades and that’s how I think.
I believe people are currently having that same discussion about electric vehicles versus ICE vehicles. 🙂
Edited to add that my forest domicile has no mechanical dishwasher; it has a human one. Me. I’m fine with that. It’s no burden really. The cat sits on the windowsill above the sink and supervises 🙂
Tyrants gonna tyrant…
WHO ELECTED THESE PEOPLE TO MAKE RULES AND LAWS?
They weren’t elected …..neither was Biden.
Wait until they remove all the dams that produce hydroelectric power.
That pain you felt, the hand you were dealt, saved a delta smelt.
Drove by a house the other day with a yard sign demanding the removal of dams. Oh how I wanted to stop, knock on the door, and nicely ask them to please disconnect the wires from the power poll.
Every small town used to have a hydro power plant if a river ran through it.
Stopped reading at ‘stakeholders’. Does the WEF just write our governments policies for us now?
And….I’m sure you noticed that We The People were not listed or consulted as “stakeholders”!
I really dislike this guy, his handlers and all his hangers-on. Nothing they have done since sleepy took office has helped the country. In fact everything they’ve done has hurt the country. I’m just trying to be polite. Everything they’ve done has turned to shot. . . .
Hey Jenny,
you should move to Mexico.
One of the things I did over the holidays was to go with a friend to look at refrigerators for an older disabled person living on Social Security whose refrigerator had stopped working.
The best prices on refrigerators of a medium size (18-20 cu ft without ice maker) were $488-$629, not including tax, delivery, and haul away charges. None of these were “EnergyStar” rated. The refrigerators with energy star ratings started at $929 and went up into the $3000’s.
Which refrigerator is that person able to afford?
The old style external condenser fridges in apartment/studio size (10-12 cu ft or so) are still affordable. I checked recently. 400 bucks locally. We don’t pay sales tax.
Myself, I use a couple of generic Amazon bar fridge/freezers because I don’t need a big one and they run fine on my solar generator or gas genset if needed. I think one is a Danby and the other is a Midea. Both are likely Chinese. No problems in nearly a decade. Both cost me about 270 bucks in total.
A slow American suicide by Progressives.
It is not suicide, it’s deliberate murder!
Retired Magistrate here: Keep those old appliances that you have running. There are still people around who repair them and parts for most makes and models are still available.
I really appreciate our old Kenmore refrigerator, old GE refrigerator in the basement, Whirlpool old school washer and Kenmore old school dryer. We also have a dehumidifer for the basement that is at least 50-60 years old and it runs great. It had a small glitch but my husband was able to fix it. Runs great. Also an old Sharp TV that tells you when a call is coming in on our landline that is a spam call. Old school really is the best.
I believe there is scripture that says, ‘the old ways are the best’ ways.
Ice Box???
The reliable stuff with the nice little sticker that says “Made In the USA”.
The reliable stuff with made when there was no “Made In the USA” sticker, as everything was made here, so no need to advertise it.
I’ve got an old floor heater that was made in one of George Westinghouse’s early consumer product factories. Data plate dates it to 1922. No made in USA, just city and state. Nice brass plate. Pretty common among old stuff that I own.
Yes, the heater still works, though the original porcelain rheostat has some bad contactors so all the heat settings don’t work. My grandparents bought it new when electricity came to their ranch in the 20’s.
My car is 15 years old. The early to mid 2000’s must have been good for mfg. My car has never had a single thing wrong with it other than normal maintenance. It is a 2008 Pontiac Vibe, has a Toyota engine and drive train, built in California in same factory as the Toyota Matrix. They had two assembly lines, one Toyota, one Pontiac. I bought the car in 2009, had 35,000 miles on it, and I paid $12,000. I always do oil and filter changes every 3 months or 3ooo miles whichever comes first. I had a neighbor who had a 20 year old vibe. The car currrently has around 150,000 miles on it and my mechanic says that’s only half way through its life expectancy.
I met someone in the parking lot of an Ace Hardware just the other day. He asked if my car was a Pontiac. I gave him the spiel above and more. He was driving a brand new Nissan pickup; said he bought it because his very old Nissan pickup, built in same time period as my Vibe, never had a thing wrong with it, but the body was going bad so he bought this new truck. In less than a month several things have fallen off or stopped working.
I highly recommend keeping your older vehicle running as long as possible; the new stuff is filled with so many bells and whistles they are just a disaster in the making.
Oh, I forgot to mention , my Vibe has those gray very heavy and thick bumpers that do what bumpers are supposed to do; prevent damage to your vehicle and whatever it hit. Really, astounding. The new ones, as the Nissan owner told me, crumple at the slightest nudge.
In my former home, I had a 1950’s refrigerator, cost nothing to run because for one thing you had to defrost it yourself. Big deal, not. I had an even older gas range with a cast iron oven. Once that oven heated to temperature it just hummed along and was great for baking bread as it held a steady temperature.
I wholeheartedly agree with Marcia; keep the old stuff running as soon as possible.
Takes a bit of looking, but ebay and other sites have the parts. I have been updating my appliances through youtube videos for a long time. I’ve learned to figure it out. I am my own labor however long it takes. I have been very pleased with the results, surprising even myself with what I can do.
Everyone in the “Biden administration” is incompetent, malevolent, or both. Fire them all!
🤡🌎
One has to lay blame not only these idiots in FJB’s cabinet but also the co-conspirators who voted to confirm them.
The gas-bag ditz strikes again. We’ll see, Czarina. We’ll just see how all this nonsense plays out.
I up-sold tons of vacuum cleaners using the line, “this one pulls so much dirt off the floor it’s illegal in Europe”, which was true at the time. Soon those will be illegal here. Sad.
Anytime the government or a global corporation (roughly equivalent entities these days) claim they are changing policy to “benefit stakeholders”, grab your wallet tight and run the other direction.
Just flush twice and buy a normal flow shower head from Europe. That’s what I did when Bushie started it.
Showerheads with LOTS of pressure 😃
👇
https://www.highpressureshowerheads.com/
I bought SiloFlex heads from Italy. Available at Amazon for $15. Shower twice as fast. Less water used!
Bought the simplest little low cost 2.5gpm head I could find at the local hardware store, along with an inline flow control valve adapter. Pulled the plastic restricter orifices out of the head and now it’s like a fire hose. With the flow control valve adapter in front of the head I can slow down the flow to a trickle if needed, but always have the option for a full blast stream. The head and valve cost under $20 total.
I hate these people and everyone who votes for them with every fiber of my being. I’m at the point that if you recycle, drive an electric car, etc. I can’t look at you.
We are being trolled.
No serious person believes this stuff.
Controlling electrical power is strictly about Power and Control over us. It has nothing to do with electrical power.
Similar to parenting, when you attempt to exert too much control, you end up losing all control.
These asshats are in the process of losing all control (and they know it).
The asshats are not losing control fast enough to suit me.
Last I read it, the tenth amendment gives the federal government no such authority.
Therefore this is unlawful.
Recent example for me: I have highly efficient fluorescent undercabinet lighting in the kitchen. I prefer warm white and absolutely HATE cool white. I went to Home Depot for a needed replacement bulb as I did years ago with zero issues. 99% of what they had were LED “tubes” and they are not always compatible with the ballast in the fixtures. Also, NONE were warm white or anything close to the warm white Kelvin color temperature number of my bad tube. The few small tubes they had that were conventional fluorescent tubes were the wrong size and also weren’t warm white. The tube size I need is not an uncommon one.
Intermittently used 15W conventional tube versus 7W LED tube to save us from a phony threat = a waste of gasoline and my time.
New thermostats are wi-fi enabled “for convenience” (can be controlled from anywhere, with an app)
New ovens same, to even set the clock to the correct time, need to connect to WiFi and download an app
i could go down the list, soon everything will be controlled by an app via WiFi
not only could the vehicle kill switch be activated for other reasons than stated, but it would be possible for say a hacker to control all your appliances, who might be “the hacker”?
Jennifer Granholm – the best dumb blonde yet. She doesn’t have even one tiny brain cell functioning other than the greed and narcissism brain cells.
You know, if ANY of the “green initiatives” actually solved a real world problem, we’d accept it.
So far, NONE of them do. Don’t wind turbines require something like 1400 or 14,000 gallons of oil to run? Aren’t there wind turbines in other countries being run by DIESEL ENGINES? Sorry, I don’t remember the details. It was way too stupid to remember. Oh and in France the wind turbines kill thousands of birds and aren’t they taking them down? And don’t the batteries for electric vehicles use up more “carbon energy credits” than entire car factories? on and on and on… the whole thing is a huge grift at our expense.
My own very small foray into alternative energy was solar energizers for the farm fences, to keep them nice and hot – animals in, predators out. All it took was a week of overcast weather and they all died. No animals were contained, nor predators kept out. Absolute mayhem.
My biggest pet peeves are: We are forced to buy crap made in China that breaks, doesn’t fit, or doesn’t last, and the crappy appliances. In my last go round of appliances I bought American made (supposedly). I paid more for the washer and dryer set (SpeedQueen). I, like probably MILLIONS OF AMERICANS are IRRITATED DAILY by the failures of our government.
She is not dumb. She is evil.
“Never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by malice.”
The greatest environmentalists I’ve known have been farmers and hunters. And they never virtue signal it, it’s just the right way to live.
Every time I see one of those damn windmills, I curse leftists. Windmills illustrate perfectly the vacuous moral posturing of these evil stupid marxists. Their cult of clean energy allows them to slaughter millions of birds, destroy thousands of acres of land, enrich China, the dirtiest country in the world, all to install thousands of tons of toxic materials that must be replaced every 20 years, to produce clean wind power, it’s stupid on stearoids. This is what clean energy is to these idiots. These people are imbeciles at hello. But the real play? Money, just another batch of leftist crooks stealing billions from decent, hard working, Americans, with their green scam. “May they rot in hell for it”. DJT.
