Kentucky republican House member Thomas Massie had some interesting statistics in hand when questioning Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg about the administration goal to make electric vehicles 50% of all cars, vans and trucks sold by 2030.
Essentially, it is a cart and horse scenario. An electric vehicle requires five times as much energy production as the standard home air conditioning cost. The U.S. electricity grid cannot support an increase in household energy use that is equivalent of adding five times as many houses using air conditioning. Math is math. WATCH:
.
Comrades, the likely federal government solution is simple. Comrade citizens can have one electric car (mandated by regulatory compliance), or they can have their home air conditioned, but they cannot have both. [Assuming social credit scores are high enough]
See how easy that is?
...”the significant problems we face are only as challenging as the significance of the problem.”
I notice with useless bureacrats – it is alway process and never results.
Make globohomo go away.
In order to convert entirely te EVs we have to double the size and output of the electric grid. This cannot happen: We don’t have the money, the skilled workers, or the industrial capacity.
What cannot happen, won’t happen. Meaning that phasing out petroleum and/or ICE vehicles will mean reducing the miles travelled quite dramatically.
Exactly the point. Stationary citizens are easier to keep under the thumb.
Everyone will be assigned energy credits. This is how they’ll regulate energy consumption when these crackpot schemes take over the country for good. Every aspect of your personal life will end up being dictated by your measured electricity consumption.
Spend them wisely.
Comrades, there will simply be fewer of us by 2030 so the energy requirements will be less. The making fewer of us is the current climate plan not openly discussed by the media
The illegals and other undesirables are paid and encouraged to breed like cockroaches, and no jab for them. No, it is us that are being replaced.
The question that Massie doesn’t ask, is just how does the government plan to generate the amount of electricity needed for charging the electric cars. Will they use windmills? Solar panels? Buttigieg keeps talking about ‘infrastructure’ but doesn’t indicate exactly what that is. Of course, the elephant in the room is that the government would be using fossil fuels to generate that electricity. Aside from that, using Massie’s numbers, just imagine what your electricity bill would be, with one electric car in your household. If you are concerned about how your electric bill is currently going up massively, buckle up. With an electric car, it would be far worse.
And where do we get the raw materials to make the batteries, etc? We’ve made enemies with just about every place on the planet where these rare minerals exist. These people are either certifiable morons or talking dummies with a preprogrammed script. What about environmental impact from mining these rare earth minerals? Nothing passes the smell test.
Same people that were screeching and protesting about how strip-mining is destroying the planet, are now pushing for strip-mining on steroids for more green energy to save the planet.
Just can’t fix stupid…
The guy that believes that men can produce milk is saying solar and wind can produce energy.
And that men can give birth and have a periods, LMAO! Jonestown is being built as I speak.
Would be great if the congressman could find out what has failed this time around with the concentrating power plant in NV-

My jaw dropped when Butt Boy indicated he had no idea how much electricity an America filled with electric cars would require
The question never asked: Where are people going to get the money to pay for the astounding electricity bill to power up these “expensive” EV’s? That’s not even considering the cost $$$$$ of a battery replacement!
Buttigieg = numbnut
How is it that not one person, on either side of this Green New Deal clown show of a”debate”addresses that creating electricity requires fossil fuels? Or that electric vehicle batteries are some of the dirtiest, most environmentally dangerous things in the world?
This fantasy about “beefing up the electrical power grid” can’t happen, no matter how much fast talking and wishful thinking arm twisting is applied, not without fossil fuels!
What is happening in this nation, on almost every level, is a horrible, societally lethal joke. These maniacs are trying to kill us all.
The electricity will be generated by rooftop wind turbines with solar panel back ups. Neighborhoods will bristle with them the way they used to with old TV antennae.
Cloudy and calm days will produce very little so your region will be basically on travel “holiday.” No trips to the mall, or to the ER because there’s no wind or sun today! In emergencies a small battery booster will be delivered to you via carrier pigeon.
The most popular vehicle will be the “Biden.” It will have a top speed of 3 mph and the lights will go out in mid trip. It will be very popular in Amsterdam, second only to bicycles.
They are grifting lots of $$$$$ so reality doesn’t matter…until the money runs out.
The Globalists are wanting to solve a supposed pollution problem. Problems are solved by solving the Root Cause. We can do all the greens want us to do and nothing will change except the middle class will be destroyed. If our elites wanted to solve the problem, they would be focussing on India and China. Therefore, the elites do not truly want to solve the problem, they want to control us.
Controlling us is their problem. They are in the process of solving that problem.
This is what happens when stolen elections are allowed to stand. All politics is performative until we get answers on why 2020 unfolded as it did and who was behind J6 set up.
The big 3 are not for We… the People! Same swamp, same agenda…
I am so tired of hearing “We are working with…” or “We are constantly working on…” or “We have been working diligently..”.
Those phrases are used over and over and over again by the “leaders” of our government. And they mean absolutely NOTHING.
Why do they use them? Because one cannot be held accountable for “a work in progress”, thus the use of those phrases.
Give us some SPECIFICS! Tell us what youre gonna DO! You’ve got 8 years to ramp up the grid for “50% EVs”. EXACTLY: How are you going to do that?
Its been around for decades, you couldn’t get a single stupid Californian high speed rail put in. But you’re gonna ramp up the nationwide electrical grid in 8 years? Can you tell us EXACTLY how that’s going to be done?
But hey, Im not worried Pete is “working with DoE” on the problem!
You certainly do believe we proles, who have to get THINGS DONE in the real world, must be stupid.
I can’t help but laugh at you fools.
“What, me worry”? Nope. Now get to the part where your “husband” had a baby, I love that part. It’s all bull$hit.
They’ve already given how they’ll balance energy production with energy usage. By 2025 there will be 68.5% less people in the U.S.A., and why they’ve been implementing their injecticide in reducing the current number of people. Maybe he should ask how they expect to eliminate around 317 million American Citizens from the country by 2025? Thermonuclear war with China and Russia? Masse is a brilliant man- multiple degrees from MIT.
He knows of what he speaks.
He lives off-grid, having built his own system.
So don’t let them try to claim he’s anti alternative energy.
Family buys a used Ford Focus (60,000 miles) EV for $11,000. Six months later the battery goes dead. It cost $14,000 to buy a new battery EXCEPT Ford stopped making the battery for that vehicle. The dealership offered them $500 for the worthless car.
https://waynedupree.com/2022/07/ford-electric-car-new-battery/
Do these morons know that our landfills are going to be filled with throw away cars?
So the The Little Princess of transportation thinks “it’s” got the answers on charging, eh? How we ask little “Peepee” Booty what will we do to “hide” or dispose of the car batteries when they go bad? I’d really like to know what that plan is.
Wherever he goes, Mayor Petey always rushes into the battle of wits unarmed.
And how many more power generating plants will we need to replace gasoline and diesel to power the grid? What will power this electrical grid? How much will it cost the taxpayer (middle classes) to upgrade the grid? How many years will it take to upgrade the grid? Massie was lobbing softballs at Alfred. I’m just a regular guy and I could have done a better job grilling that PC moron.
They are called guns, lets use them…. When they come
What these people have no clue about, engineering, will inevitably design vehicles that don’t need plug in chargers.
One of the starting points for this technology is an Israeli super efficient engine that is low cost, uses minimal fuel and charges the batteries as fast or faster than the charge is depleted, or generates enough to power the engine. This works similar to the current alternator method for your vehicle electrics and batteries.
https://phys.org/news/2016-10-israel-firm-super-efficient-power-car.html
The difference is that when we use all electric engines the power consumption is not maintained by current or even future battery technology, necessitating the need for plug in chargers and wait times.
When you have a “generator” versus battery type of system, you don’t need to wait hours for your car to charge, or even have to hook up to power somewhere, because like an alternator, it happens when you have the generator going. Who wants to sit around twice a day for 2-8 hours while waiting for battery charging. Not only does this negate the need for plug-ins, it also lightens the vehicle by using smaller and less batteries.
Why store power when you can generate it on demand. We just need to develop those highly efficient generators.
If these greeniacs push massive charging infrastructure with the associated costs, it may very well be obsolete right about when cars that need charging become obsolete.
The weirdest thing is the people pushing for the EV BS are the same people who keep virtue signaling about wearing the diapers on their faces. They don’t like the “toxin” in the environment, but they sure are willing to take it into their bodies, lol.
Good grief. The video is is the kind of ignorant, useless drivel that a Rhodes Scholar from McKinsey would dole out, be smug about, and charge like a high-end escort to deliver.
These people live in a fairy land (some more than others, lol). There is a reasonable chance we will need to transition from petroleum power sources to something else, for multiple reasons. Mankind has met millions of challenges over the millennia, if we have to do it I expect we will succeed. But this setting of artificial deadlines by people who have never held real jobs (and who in some cases LIED about their sexual preferences while checking a box by being in the military) deserve, and probably have, a very special place in hell.
