Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, a cabinet ideologue with zero experience in business or transportation, appears in the news admitted the high price of gasoline is part of the Biden energy agenda to push people into purchasing electric vehicles. You’ll have a higher car payment, but you won’t pay for gasoline. WATCH:
Good Ol’ Secretary Sodomy.
This boggles the mind. Ignorance personified.
I refuse to listen to anything this guy/gal has to say.
People cannot afford gas how the hell are they going to afford crappy electric cars?? Elite fools
They don’t want us in cars. They want us packed into public transportation to be sitting ducks for the thugs.
True Aggiegirl. This is all planned. There are stark similarities between covid “mitigation” policies and climate change/fossil fuel eradication agendas. The climate change radicals in Biden’s admin. think rising gas prices are socially engineering average, working Americans into accepting the world of the Great Reset. There’s a fallacy in their dogma, however. Historically, Americans will collectively reach a point where they simply stop obeying—and when that happens the Climate Change/fossil fuel eradication movement will collapse. American’s don’t like to be told what to do.
“Americans don’t like to be told what to do.”

80% of them did everything the government told them during the past two COVID years.
The same 80% will continue doing whatever the government tells them in the future.
Right down to living in crowded, squalid cities; riding the bus; and eating bugs.
Big difference IMHO. People were scared into obeying the policies. Health threats are a whole different ballgame from economic threats short of being threatened with a subsistence lifestyle. Further, there is no comparison in cost of purchase, upkeep and maintenance between electric and gas powered cars. The batteries in the electric vehicles have to be replaced every 15 years and are the majority cost of the vehicle, equivalent to changing the engine on your car every 15 years (150,000) miles. The costs will be much higher than changing out an engine. The cost savings in fuel is also non-existent. Electric bills are rising and will continue to rise as long as we do not drill, refine and produce more gasoline or do same for coal.
So, no, people will NOT comply as readily. First, because they are not acting out of morbid fear, second, because they simply do not have the funds for such vehicles and batteries and third, because outside of the big cities, public transportation is quite limited and wholly inadequate for a working person. Ride-sharing, taxis, ubers and car pooling are only viable if you live in an area where enough others have your schedule and destinations.
Finally, it is going to be impossible to herd all the people that have and are moving out of the big cities back into the big cities. People remember how bad they were burnt by policies. Real estate prices are astronomical everywhere. This kind of change would take decades. The Democrats do not want to wait that long.
However, they may push everyone to become criminals to survive their policies.
They’re not going to let go of the fear factor.
It seems food/hunger may be the new weapon, and likely another round of some “pandemic”.
What you are describing is called Paretos Law (80-20 Rule).
It’s as natural as your hand (4 fingers vs 1 thumb).
It is multuplicative.
.80 / .20.
.80× .80/ .20x.20
.64 / .04
.64 x .20/ .04x .20
.51/.008 or .01 rounded.
Which is 1 / .02
2% is the amount of Colonists that took up arms and fought the British.
Some of us will have to be the 20% of 20% of 20%.
We won’t win it by confronting their forces with rifles but by being the sand in their gears.
I have mentioned this image many times here.
Sundance has some meme art of the great city and an encampment across the creek.
When they want us all to move into their city, they need to wake up one morning and see us around their city erecting a fence with no gate, and the barbed wire on top leaning in.
We are the Engineers and uncorrupted scientists and tradesmen and machinists that know where the valves are to the water supply and the bridges are that bring the food, and where the transformer farms are.
When it comes to that the big glorious cities can be shut down.
Again, Be Prepared.
Exactly.
And when they do they have about 25% of US population crammed into the NE where they intend to ignore the Bruen decision and still restrict guns. Yesterday in LewRockwell.com the interrogation of Bernard
Goetz was posted. He reached his snapping point and had only a 5-shot .38 snubnose.
Do you have one of those laying around? Got ammo?
Do you carry it every day?
How long since you went somewhere and shot it?
Be Prepared.
Portable burn chambers. EV buses have burst into flames.
Truth. That is the truth!
Worse yet how will they afford the cost of electricity to charge these cars. Those who have installed a home charge I their garage will be paying a much higher electric bill. There is no free lunch!
And they don’t have enough power on the grid without adding all the electric cars – the grid simply cannot handle the extra requirements.
As it is being said everywhere – it’s not a plan to get people to buy electric cars, they want us to have no cars.
If you have never held a real job, and have consistently gotten promotions despite mediocre to bad performance, have only ‘worked’ in gummint, are making 6 figure income, have had your wealth and influence shield you from experiencing any negative consequence for your actions,…it all makes perfect sense.
spongebob squarepants sense.
Where is the capacity to create the electricity that will be needed for electric cars!? Solar? Wind? Yeah, no way!
No.
They are intent to kill billions of people mostly in the West.
They want 500 Million Slaves.
They want those slaves to be Chinese because they will follow without question.
They will kill off all of the White thinking people with vaccines.
They said it.
It is in writing.
They are doing it.
This is their start.
They just destroyed the guiding tablet…Georgia Guide Stones.
That “they” was probably a patriot. Those tablets were ALL about limiting the population.
A Patriot doesn’t kill people to abide by a stone prediction.
A Patriot goes to the overpopulated countries and teaches birth control.
A patriot would go to countries with high population and teach them new ways to grow sufficient food and purify water.
The earth is not near it’s real carrying capacity. Countries such as the US have always increased production enough to feed everyone.
What causes starvation are Governments that intercept the food and use it for influence and control.
It was lightening, hand of God.
Didn’t you wonder why there was no forensic evaluation of a “terror attack” ?
They destroyed it and removed all forensic evidence ASAP…like 9/11.
One video I saw showed Georgia Bureau of Investigations on the sidelines while the remainder of the guidestones were destroyed.
There is supposed to be a time capsule buried under the guidestones. I never heard if it was unearthed.
Someone is just too special.
They destroyed it and removed all forensic evidence ASAP…like 9/11.

EXACTLY!
I don’t disagree but could provide support for this statement with link, please?
I agree with all except the White thinking people with vaccines. Most of the people (elderly like me) who took the vaccines watch too much TV. The serious critical thinkers and those who use multiple sources for news did not take them. A few were scared into it anyway for health reasons or forced as family providers by the job, but, there have been more and more that rejected them anyway in these groups as time has gone on.
I consider myself a serious critical thinker, but I got the vaccine. I was against it from the first time I heard of mRNA because it sounded like (in fact one article actually said it was) “inserting computer software into the body”.
I wanted to wait but my age group came up in March 2021 and I tried to stall as long as possible but gave in to my own fears, not of the virus, but of being kept away from my kids and grandkids. Looking back I don’t think that would have happened. I do think my kids were worried about me even though I was a very healthy 68-yr-old. Unfortunately my husband was all in on the vaccine.
I think there are many people who got the vaccine for that reason. I have not had a booster and don’t intend to. I don’t wear a mask except when forced by medical offices that I can’t avoid. But the damage is done. We will see what/if my future health status is.
For now my focus is to resist openly and often. I am even more determined now to say no to their tyranny and my kids know that is NOT going to change, even if it means an earlier end to my life here on earth. I take refuge in God and in His words.
Economic growth. New patrons. Control. That’s what it’s all about…
The environmental stuff is laughable unbelievable.
I really am starting to understand why people kill in anger. The rage these idiots inspire is that primal…
Do it! Do it!
We will bring you nice cakes in prison. Really!
Wow! I understood, a long time ago how people kill in anger, it has never been a mystery to me.
Different life experiences, I guess.
Wow! Some people don’t have a very strong Christian ethic, which has never been a mystery to me.
Different life experiences I guess.
They won’t have to buy gas. They won’t be able to buy electricity because there won’t be enough. Looks like it’s gonna be bicycles and buses.
Where will one get the tires for the bicycles, oil is bad.
What’s going to power the electric generators??
Current bushes have very low amperage 🤗🤗🤔
Sharpen your whittling knive. Wooden tires aren’t a smooth ride though.
👍👍🤗😁
Windmills, electric cars or anything with moving parts needs to be LUBRICATED, and vegetable oil doesn’t work.
Windmills freeze in winter winds (think Texas) and need lots of lubricant to defrost the huge blades. They never ask: What if?
Or the latest sporty model of the Fred Flintstone pedal car.
California is saying not to charge electric cars until the evening, because of brown outs.
Whoa! Who woudda thought! 😉
definitely not going to be charged with solar power…
Frankly, the real problem is not gas at all. The real problem is that ALL of our utilities are managed and powered by electricity. City water, sanitation, sewage, roads, lights, trains, power stations, nuclear reactors. The electric grid does not work without a reliable fuel source even now as Texas keeps proving. If this plan continues, civilization as we have know it since the 1900s disappears.
There’s been a call to harden the electric grid for decades- to no avail!
With an opposition party and free elections this wouldn’t even be a news story. This is just a symptom of the problem.
Occupying the representative seats of oppositional power, yet giving aid and comfort to our enemies, there is A word for that. Starts with A ‘T’ and it’s not necessarily Turtle
Yes, Treasonous Turtle from Kentucky with the Chinese wife whose family is still wealthy via Chinese shipping company.
Quisling.
How much will Electricity be by the Gallon, Butt-A-Head?
ROFL. Thanks for the laugh! Serious stuff, but always room for humor.
Wonder if his nipples are sore from all that breast feeding?
I hear breast pumps are the “in” thing.
Challenging to use for some of us.
Completely disregards any serious economic theory or the engineering feasibility of enacting said policy on a large scale.
Beside the point anyways, because of saving the planet from human overpopulation and human caused climate change. Supposedly.
Beware of the fanatics.
I have long thought that I want to live in a large civilization. My job as a professor cannot exist without a large population to support my kind of work. Advanced technology cannot exist in small civilizations for the same reasons. The Green New Dealers would have us all return to the stone age.
the Green New Dealers plan to turn most of us into fertilizer
Supposedly educated man does not seem to realize charging electric vehicle batteries is not free. Or raising fuel costs affects all production and jacks inflation through the roof. Or the electric grid cannot handle charging millions of new electric vehicles.
Marxists are economically ignorant. Socialism/Marxism/Communism has never worked and never will.
Socialism is a by-product of Capitalism.
Giving to the (truly) needy is a byproduct of capitalism. Abusing that instinct is socialism.
Karl Marx was a grifter and first class loser. Never could support himself or his family. He had enablers to do that for him.
LIke Bernie.
Right? He was one sorry excuse for a human being. Lazy, greedy, jealous, hateful, selfish, self centered, etc., etc., etc.
But at the same time thought he should be telling everyone else how to think and live.
I think I just described the modern day leadership. Yikes!
LOL…like us peons will have our own cars in the future. It will be busses or trains. Live in the country? Move to the city.
Whittle some wheels.
The wheels on the electric bus go clunk, clunk, clunk.
No, get out of the cities, if your still there.
We have seen what their policies have done in large cities,…any reason to think its going to get better?
When people hear the word “electric vehicle”, they think Tesla or Volt; costing about $60,000+
I believe when the politicians say that word, they have something like a plain Jane golf cart in mind; costing less than $5,000.
These Dimocrats think they are brilliant and cunning by changing the meaning of words they use.
The Chevy Volt was a PHEV. Not all-electric like a Tesla. Besides Chevy discontinued producing the Volt a few years ago.
More like bicycle.
I agree though. They are masters of changing the meaning of words. I’m too old to learn this new language.
I will not comply!
Golf carts in January in Wisconsin won’t cut it, Pete. I think you should move back to South Bend and try it out yourself.
South Bend gets big dumps of snow.
Cocktail class assumes everyone always has a car payment, always has a car
I have owned almost 100 cars in my life, and except for two cars, every one only had ONE payment, at the time of purchase.
You will own nothing and be happy.
Nearly all Americans need cars with significant range. I would say a majority need two.
Not the case Europe where $9 gasoline and monumental property tax make them more a luxury.
But even in Europe with far less demand for long range cars, and, with government subsidies for purchase and taxes ………..
Booming Electric Car Sales In Europe May Soon Face A Reality Check
“Sales of battery electric cars in Europe are accelerating, based mainly on well-heeled early adopter enthusiasm and government handouts, but for the electric car revolution to succeed automakers need to inspire genuine demand from the mass market based on price and utility. Currently that looks like an impossible dream.”
“Failure to produce electric vehicles for average wage earners will also doom the automotive industry to a much-reduced future of slashed volume, closed factories and mass redundancies. “
“The political fall-out will be serious too, as middle-income voters find they are unable to afford the freedom traditionally offered by car ownership. The “gilets jaunes” movement in France, when a sudden huge hike in the price of diesel prompted violent and extended protests, will be at the forefront of politicians’ thinking if this story line persists.”

A coffin with wheels.
That vehicle could be totaled by a well aimed fart!
Clown car?
😆😆😆😆😆😆
It looks like an ugly toy that was blown up to human-size.
How embarrassing to drive such a thing.
I go to the feed store at least once a month and load up 2 50 pound bags, 4 40 pound bags and 2 25 pound bags of feed. Where on earth would I put them in something like that?
On the roof, mattress style…
In Australia, we also travel huge distances. Electric cars wouldn’t be suitable.
Electric cars might be ok for a 2-car family as the second car that will only be used locally.
I wonder if Pete realizes that Vaseline is a petroleum product?
Just sayin’…
😂😂😂😂
Lmao. It’s late. I’m on whiskey #2. You are hereby nominated for Internet Winner of the Day!
That is hilarious!
I stocked up on vaseline. Smear a smidge on a cotton ball and light a (literal) fire.
Great kindling, dryer lint works pretty good also.
Literally rub a two finger gob of Vaseline into the cotton balls, then put 25 balls into small ziplock freezer bag along with a ferrodium rod (it makes sparks) and a 4″ section of hacksaw blade, and you have a fire starting kit that’ll start fires even in the rain.
Tease open the cotton balls before lighting with the ferrodium rod. You can throw the burning ball into a puddle and it will continue to burn.
Reading Comprehension may not be (Probably is not) Pete’s strong suite, just saying.
She’s too stupid to realize that.
Ever look at the emissions ratings of a Prius or Civic Hybrid? Next to nothing. So at $5 / gal could you afford the fuel cost for a vehicle that gets 48mpg? And the range is about 450 miles on 10 gallons. It takes about 10 minutes to fill up the tank from being nearly empty. How long does it require to charge up an EV from being nearly fully discharged to full – maximum range? 8 hrs? 12 hrs? Overnight? Yet the now-almost antique Japanese hybrid sedans offer a comfortable cabin for most people with midrange sedan driving performance at modest cost. EVs are **not** for the budget-conscious.
This doesn’t work for heavy SUVs or trucks. Hybrid SUVs tend to get only marginally better mileage than their gas or diesel counterparts. I haven’t seen any technological developments lately that significantly improved on the hybrid model for heavier vehicles. Seems that all the R&D went into Electric-only SUVs and trucks. Because the intention is to convert everyone to autonomous vehicles that go only where the government allows you to go.
So all this gas price shenanigans by the OBiden Admin is simply getting you mentally conditioned to accept the eventual mandate of autonomous vehicles or public transportation. Where you are only a passenger with limited choices of destination.
…public transportation. Where you are only a passenger with limited choices of destination.
With limited chance of arriving alive.
Safari rules will see to it.
You give up your car. They win. Then we all become Winston Smith.
A company has invented and now testing to scale a solid-state battery capable of yielding 800-to-1000-mile range and a recharge to 80% in 15 minutes. Soros and Gates and other billionaires have invested heavily in this new technology. Check out stock with symbol QS.
How about we mount you on a stake, and you will not half to walk
WTBA
Welcome to Biden’s America.
The new MAGA.
It’s not Biden’s America,….It’s Husseiin Obammy’s America.
He may not know because he’s a moron And your average college-educated suburban Ken and Kathy don’t know because they are incapable of critical thinking and have no knowledge of basic math and science.
But the ones pushing this from the top know that EVs require fossil fuels, are environment killers sourced on the back of third world slave labor, and that there is not enough capacity in the grid to power EVs.
Those same people also know EVs can’t go far or haul heavy things efficiently. They are aware that fossil fuels are needed to feed 7.5 billion people.
The only conclusion is they plan on starving hundreds of millions in the third world and making serfs of anyone residing in the 1st or 2nd world. You will live in a box, in an urban area, and travel no farther than a few miles from your box. In that box you will eat soy-based and artificial protein products to meet your daily allotted calorie intake.
I’m at the point that if you vote Democrat, believe in climate change, or even recycle I view you as my sworn enemy and look forward to seeing you eat bugs while freezing in your government supplied box.
Thank you. You’re not alone.
There are far too many people who do not realize what the globalists are doing to us.
I know people who say “oh, I don’t watch the news”.
They also do not read news–from any source.
Does this mean that they don’t wonder why the cost of everything is going up, their income may be going down, and their favorite restaurants are closed?
I went to TWO restaurants last week. BOTH closed on a Wednesday. One high end, one a nice diner.
“….I view you as my sworn enemy and look forward to seeing you in my sights when the war begins.”
No problem with recycling
Too many pigs just litter
I recycle when it makes sense and saves (or makes) me money.
I don’t like waste and grew up with parents who lived through the depression and war rationing and scarcity.
I don’t like wasting my time, so there are plenty of things I just toss in the trash instead of recycling. I’m not going to spend a lot of time rinsing out a tin can so I can put it in a recycling bin. Yet a milk bottle I rinse quickly no matter which bin I use because it will really stink.
I compost because I garden. I’m not going to trash all that and then pay for fertilizer. I’ve got a great deal going. Several neighbors bag their fall leaves in plastic lawn bags and leave them at the edge of my yard.
They save $$$ because the approved paper bags aren’t cheap. Then I end up with a years supply of trash bags for free. They also end up with a few garden tomatoes a week.
I believe climate change is a hoax and fossil fuels are absolutely necessary and plentiful for years more. That said, technology and ingenuity will advance us towards replacing fossil in due time if the free markets are allowed to function.
We are now on a totally disruptive path in energy supply. One potentially bright spot is nuclear power is creeping back into the discussion as a green source of energy. Great advances in safety have been made in this technology and has the potential to help fill the energy gap that rapid abandonment of fossil fuels cause. But again, free markets and science should be our path.
If there were a plan for American car owners to drive electric cars, wouldn’t these know-it-alls have starting building fast charging stations on Day 1? I call BS on this! The few that will still be driving their own car might be driving electric cars but the remainder of us will ride bicycles and mass transit. The msm already has a few pundits claiming electric cars will cause more environmental damage from just the manufacturing. How would you even charge the thing? There won’t be enough electricity which probably answers my 1st question.
It could very well be that the elites still plan on driving internal combustion cars, but not us.
Has anyone in the media asked Biden how people will charge their cars if EVERYONE goes out and buys an electric car? What about people in the large cities who park in parking garages? I can tell you in every one that I’ve been in there are a few charging spots, at best maybe 2 on each level, but the vast majority of spots don’t have chargers.
Yup. I’ve been asking everyone I know WHY what sense does it make to put the cart before the horse? Ridiculous. They USED to spout that line, but no longer.
The only reason I can think of is, brainwashing. There is finally a whole generation of people who have been trained to not think, nor have the required skills to think critically. And, have been indoctrinated.
So sad.
I agree – far too many people don’t seem to be able to think critically
they think we are maroons. As if buying an electric car which cant go very far doesnt use energy. So, you either use the fossil fuels or the windmills …. that dont work to constantly charge the thing where now “authorities are begging people to NOT charge their cars. They know actually, they think they can buffalo us, like we are the ones that are stewpid. By the way, this is why kamal harryus does the baby talk to people and when she is over her heard 99.9999% of the time, she concocts a word salad.
What idiots. Where do they think we “regular” i.e. not rich people are going to get the money for an EV?
I don’t have a truck payment now. My 01 Excursion with a 7.3 diesel does what I need, goes where I need, and hauls the family and stuff wherever we want to go. With a 44 gal tank and a 30 gal auxiliary be added on, I can go a loooooong damn way. I can fill up in 10 min and go another looooong damn way. Approximately 1700 miles with an initial fill up and a second. And, I don’t have to detour out of the way and sit on my ass while my car charges.
I see the practical aspect to running around town in an EV and don’t begrudge that at all. But, when I need to haul a tractor across the state, get material to a job site, or pull the second story gable off of a house (did it, vid is awesome) I’ll stick with diesel, thank you.
Currently at 590,162 miles. Mechanic just replaced the original fuel pump, test drove it and said it still runs strong and has power for days. I love my truck, but not as much as my amazing wife….most days.😉
the 7.3 is great engine i have one in a 97 -f250 best engine international ever made
I recently bought a 2000 Excursion 7.3L with 175,000 miles. Most of the time it is hauling 7,ooo-10,000 pounds and no bank note.
Where did you get the aux tank?
It’s astonishing to me that these people can’t even imagine that even for people who are comfortably in the middle class, going out and buying a new car isn’t reasonable or possible! Some people can’t afford it. Some people already have enough cars, especially single people who have one car and don’t want a second. And have the geniuses pushing this crap figured out when the payback finally occurs?
You know my mantra by now: give the House and Senate majorities to the GOP in November. They will never push the “green” crap on you, or abortions, or censorship, or tranny ridiculousness, and they won’t grab your guns either.
Depends on how many GOP are GOPe.
So true, or how many want to be members in good standing in the Globalists Club or wannabes.
Yes, I am absolutely convinced the GOPe RINOS in Leadership of Congress fully embrace the WEF Globalist agenda, the only difference between them and the Dems is, the Dems are honest about their intentions, and the policies they push, the Republicans lie as to their intentions and policies.
The good news is there are MAGA candidates, in addition to PDJT running.
Sure, they (Uniparty) are doing everything they can, to prevent these AmericaFirst candidates from winning, and in some cases they will block them.
But, every MAGA candidate, even if they lose, is a ‘force multiplier’, as their campaign shows a stark contrast with the RINO, exposing them.
And, some have and will continue to win, …
Like MTG, they then are like a hole in a dam.
Its a SMALL hole,…only a relatively small amount of water, running down the dry side of the damn.
How could it possibly bring down a mighty dam, right?
Cause it soaks into the ground, on the dry side, undermining the (RINO) foundation, thats how.
Buttigieg doesn’t have to pay for his fuel so he doesn’t give a rip. Their goal worldwide is to wean everyone(except the ruling class) off of fossil fuel, force everyone to buy electric vehicles to strangle the power grid, and eventually when everyone moves back to the cities and has to ride public transportation. Then we will all be under control so they can jab us at will , eat what they want us to eat and be good little sheeple or else!
If we are lucky the cold hard anger Sundance refers to will take hold and the spark of freedom that still lingers in some of our hearts will awaken and we will rise up and destroy this progressive/communist cancer that is pushing to destroy America. When the lantern is lit we will know it is time to take back our Country!
Amen
If Alfred E. Newman had a illegitimate son, would his name be Buttgigi?
No,…it would be Sissy Butt Boy
electric chair?
Another elitist ideologue who wants to forever change the US because he can’t tolerate the way we are. Bet he has never had any equal relationship with an ordinary person.
While he travels in DC in a gas-guzzling government SUV, accompanied by other SUV’s for protection. These are truly despicable people.
He is just mocking us now. It has been obvious for some time they are not worried about elections anymore. If elections were valid in even half the country the powers that be would not be telling us this.
This is why it was OK for Jobama to tell us he was going to ruin the petroleum industry during the campaign.
Sorry, I don’t see them as “not worried about elections anymore”.
I see them expending enormous effort, with both wings of the Uniparty ‘pulling out all the stops’ to prevent AmericaFirst candidates from gettin thru the primaries, or winning the generals.
They aren’t all that concerned with whether the Houses “flip” from Uniparty-D to Uniparty-R, as thats only about optics for the proles.
I can’t afford a new electric car cuz I’m spending the extra money on $6 gas you sodomite
Toxic elitism.
Can anyone name one biden Cabinet member that is qualified for their position?
Just one that brings knowledge and expertise to the table?
Each one is deficient.
Inept.
We the People are being insulted and mocked by these installed puppets.
Is our federal government being run by Susan Rice and Jake Sullivan?
Klaus Schwab and his oligarchs in Brussels?
I refuse to listen to this morons voice. To do so would be an insult to my intelligence. Alfred E Butterbutt.
” … the high price of gasoline is part of the Biden energy agenda to push people into purchasing electric vehicles….”
Was that publicly, and openly presented, and clarified,
prior to an election,
or in the last 1.5 years?
Was the 2007… ‘fundamental transformation’ a clear, understood message?
If so, where was the news in reporting as such, in advance?’
(the answer sounds like … the sound of silence, with the distant sound of crickets chirping at night across the country … )
[ and even though others figured out the nefarious ploy a long time ago…
…today, someone actually speaks about it publicly … way late…? (std. operating procedure ? late transparency, by plan …. ) ]
[ as our national security / strategic reserves of petroleum
get exported to other countries, big time … ]
hmmmm…
Serfs will be the property of the local landowner, they will be forbidden to travel and therefore they won’t need cars.
Hey Pete, where are going to get all the extra electricity from ? California has major issues already and so does Texas at times.
Just to remind you Pete, solar panels and wind mills do not cut it, in providing extra electricity.
Not going to happen. Will not comply. Biden agenda is for profit for him not earth. Biden is only out for Biden!! Dems will NEVER BE IN OFFICE AGAIN FOR THE NEXT 75 YEARS
Only if we get rid of the Dominion cheating machines, otherwise, a repeat performance of 2020 election.
Wait until the cost of upgrading the grid gets amortized into electric rates. High gas prices will be nostalgic.
EVs do nothing but move smog from the cities to the countryside where electricity is produced. Considering their batteries, they are a net environmental loss. This guy has no concept of either economics or the environment. We would be better off if he took a two year paternity leave.
Good thing for us these leftists are so self destructive…
Look at one family–the bidens. Each one is a mess of some kind.
Have you seen recent photos of jill? Her face is gaunt, drawn down, and rapidly aging.
Living in lies, disrespect, selfishness makes a person look like their sin-gripped soul.
Petey can kma.
He has a husband so there’s zero chance that he’ll like it.
a million points of light generation.
Gee, Pete, are you telling me you’re going to personally pay my electric bill if I decide to buy an EV? Oh, and the $10,000 battery replacement I’m going to need every few years? Gee, Pete, that’s so nice of you!
You may not have to pay for gas, but since the demand for electricity when everyone has switched to EVs will go through the roof because we’ll only have windmills and sunbeams to provide it, the price of electricity itself will “necessarily skyrocket.”
If you can even get it, of course. The resulting brown- and blackouts will cripple transportation of all kinds, reducing us to vacations within bicycling distance.
Most of us, that is. The “elites” will still have all the means of transportation available to them.
But most Americans have no place to plug them in. And even if charging stations magically appeared overnight, we don’t generate enough electricity to charge them all, and continuing to switch to wind and solar will reduce capacity even further. It’s the magic unicorn energy plan. Unicorns magically appear to carry us all around.
Every time I see him I hear Abba. Dancing what?
Tesla asks people not to charge their EV in Texas or else the grid will go out.
https://www.theverge.com/2022/7/13/23207428/tesla-texas-ev-charging-heatwave-off-peak-grid
If this happens with small percentage of EVs then surely if everybody drives an EV it will be OK, right?
We will build out the ancient electric grid to go up to 2x 3x 4x current capacity, right?
Truth is the Government likely do not want people to own an EV either. They want people to drive less, walk or stay home. Part of the playbook of the great something. Travel is only for the select chosen few.
Also you better agree with everything the Government tells you or they will turn your fancy EV off.
Or maybe you’re going to have to do a week without airconditioning or power steering. That will set you straight.

What is not said is the e-cars are not yet developed to the point they can replace cars as more than city commuter cars. Their point is not climate but to drive everyone from rural and suburbs into cities and restrict their ability to travel. This is what Macrone told the French Yellow Vest Farmers when he dramatically raised fuel prices. Leave your farm and move to the city.
So we can expect the same confrontations here.
But our police are not state (US) police they are local, and about 28-29 of our Governors are Rep/Rinos.
AND we have guns, specifically Rifles. Make no mistake an assault rifle is halfway between a rifle and a pistol on purpose.
I am not a vet and have no .MIL experience I am just a life long engineer/ hunter.
In Afganistan the issue and all the development was to add ranges to the AR15.
The only way you can do that is make it an AR10 and step up to a real rifle cartridge.
Don’t ever give up your rifles. Any rifle starting with the least powerful lever actions are 50% more powerful than an assault rifle and will pierce most body armor except when using a heart plate, and even then will knock them down.
This is where the massive influx and distribution without tracking of military age males is going to cross with build back better.
Notice Macrone “won” his election to stay “in power” but lost his majority in the French legislature.
That’s why he was telling Biden the Saudis can’t make up the difference we (you) have to start pumping some more oil.
It’s why the French are restarting their Nuke plants and Germany restarting some coal plants.
I am afraid it will come down to us, and rifles.
“…but you won’t pay for gasoline.” What a total schmuck! What we’ll pay for is electricity and for rare earth minerals from China. Instead of dependency on the Arabs and Iranians we’ll become dependent on the Chinese. This is a total fool and he thinks we are!
Does this faux administration think we’re really that clueless?
They might be surprised we know all their sham tactics.
Duh!
Mayor Pete: Imagine if everyone in Texas had electric vehicles when the wind quit blowing. Transportation would have stopped for days.
