For those who think the conflict is not being orchestrated by the Obama-Biden administration, consider this. European countries and our NATO allies are not as worried about Russia entering Ukraine.
The people closest to the situation including France and Germany, are not asking for the U.S. to get involved. Indeed, you can make the argument based on their public statements, that European NATO countries are not that concerned. Even Chuck Todd (NBC) sees this.
It is the Obama-Biden foreign policy team that is creating anxiety over the potential for Russia to enter Ukraine, not our NATO allies. If we end up in a conflict in Ukraine, it will be because the professional political class in Washington DC want us to be in a conflict in Ukraine, not the American people.

in three weeks the price of oil plummeted to a record low. So far down in price, that this effectively shut down 21 percent of all oil production in the United States! Our prices of fuel and energy went north and quick. Because the could not compete. It’s about scale. if we are not exporters, our market is smaller, prices go up. And they did. that was WITHOUT NORDSTREAM ONLINE. So we imagine that gas prices on the world market are low is good, but that is not what we experienced here at HOME! Our prices for energy increases..because production and scale got hammered…big time. Those were very real jobs and economic consequences to the action of russia to create a global war against the US preeminence in oil and energy.
At this very moment, russia has nortstream and that supplies 40 percent of all the european home heating energy (natural gas). The prices we are seeing at the pump are a direct result of the combination of these two events, PLUS the failures (intentional) of this administration to duck out of its strategic national interest to halt the deals that europe made with russia.
Now, we don’t have the european market as a customer. So that’s now, lets add it up: three strikes.
we are now no longer a major oil exporter and there is a major market no longer available to the US.
Our prices for energy goes north even more. Inflation follows. Everything is more expensive. Oil and its prices, float everything. Every single thing.
Now, russia is about to take ukraine. And that means unchallenged access to its deep water ports into the black sea.
when that happens, russia will be dumping cheap natural gas into every single market that the united states has stakes.
and at that point, there will be few options and none of them will be good.
The US by its “isolationism” and passive nature, will become as with europe, bending to the interests of russia. Making even more compromises that will involve invariable the same exact type of intellectual property transfer, large stakes and tracts of us assets, all in exhange for russia to allow the us to exist as a oil provider…
just as china has done with the years of offshoring manufacturing and processing …
our leadership will now be at the mercy whether they want to or not to the will of BOTH russia and china in the two most fundamental markets of global trade, that only 3 years ago in the one (oil) we achieved energy supremacy, and in the other about 30 years ago, where china could not touch our agriculural and manufacturing base.
So that is what is at stake. U.K. Accuses Moscow of Trying to Install Pro-Russia Leader in Ukraine
Moscow dismissed the claims as “disinformation,” and urged London to “stop spreading nonsense.”
“Disinformation circulated by [the U.K. Foreign Office] is yet another indication that it is the NATO Members led by the Anglo-Saxon nations who are escalating tensions around #Ukraine,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a tweet.
The accusations come at the end of a week of intense international diplomacy, which concluded with Antony Blinken and Sergei Lavrov, Washington and Moscow’s top diplomats, agreeing to keep working to ease tensions.
Murayev, the man named by London, lost his seat in the Ukrainian parliament when his party failed to win 5% of the vote in 2019 elections.
He is considered to be an owner of Ukrainian TV station “Nash,” which regulators have been seeking to shut down since last year, accusing it of airing pro-Russian propaganda.

The article below has an interesting take on Russia/Ukraine. Basically, that those 140,000 Russian troops are half as much as would be required for a full invasion, and that even then Ukrainians would almost totally fight and resist.
Putin must know all this, so what is he up to? Upping the heat, trying to get the Biden puppeteers to blink, to give away something and get nothing in return? Not a bad gambit after the Afghanistan fiasco.

Germany doesn’t have a choice any more. They just closed 3 nuclear plants in the middle of winter and are now dependent on Russian oil and gas. Period. Anyone who knows anything about Northern European weather in winter knows it’s cold, overcast and not very windy most every day. So, solar and wind aren’t producing. That leaves oil and gas since nuclear is now gone.
You have to ask why should US taxpayers come to the rescue of people who approved this and voted it into office. We should have taken all our troops out of Germany years ago.

I suggest you should also familiarize yourself with Russian military doctrine.
If any part of Russia (such as CRIMEA, but NOT Donbass), or Russian naval vessels, aircraft etc. is attacked in any way Russia reserves the right to respond in any way it sees fit against the country it perceives as the aggressor – obviously including attacks on the homeland of that aggressor.
I’m not saying they would do that, but they reserve the right to strike back – obviously.
Ergo, if you are the United States and attack Crimea, expect a volley of missiles into Arlington, Virginia (Pentagon). It’s the same thing.
If you sink a Russian naval asset, expect a US naval asset (probably an aircraft carrier) to be sunk somewhere (anywhere).
Once any part of Russian territory is under attack Russian military doctrine reserves the right to immediately escalate to nuclear weapons if they perceive that to be in their best interests.
I doubt they’d just jump to nuclear weapons – that would be MAD! But, you never know eh…

I guess here we go again with another “Afghanistan” evacuation. The State Department has sent a “Mobile Security Detachment” to Embassy Kiev. Brandon says he is considering sending 1000-5000 troops to Ukraine to “help with the evacuation” of U.S. citizens and their families. Putin might even allow that for his own political reasons, and leverage against “excessive” U.S. sanctions.
