Joe Biden went back to the White House stage set today (always weird) to read from his script and hold a broadcast zoom meeting with the supply chain and inflation ‘task force’ led by Brian Deese. [Read Transcript Here]
The occupant of the White House proclaimed that gas prices have dropped ten cents, the port container backlog was almost fixed, and all the retail sales shelves are stocked for Christmas purchasing. Smiles everyone, smiles. [Excerpt Below]
♦ A couple of overall notes. Biden is proclaiming a massive improvement in the port backlog in California. However, a more careful review of the specifics from the ports themselves, via John Porcari, reveals this nuance: “The percentage of — the number of long-dwelling containers — the ones that have been there eight days or more — has been cut in half.” The percentage of, the number of, 8+ day delayed containers has been reduced by 50% in the past two months.
So, the container backlog problem is half as bad as the percentage of the problem was two months ago. That’s some professional parseltongue right there.
Expanding, Porcari says, “Since mid-October, the dwell times for those containers has dropped from 12 days to 5 days; that’s 140 percent improvement. And in Los Angeles, from nine days to four days — 125 percent improvement.” LOL..
The 8+ day containers have dropped from 8 days + twelve (20 days) to 8 days + five (13 days), and that’s an improvement of 140%. At that rate in two more months the 8+ day container backlog will be reduced to,… wait for it…. 8+ days. Brilliant! They will have achieved backlog statis!
Who wouldn’t love a job where the goal of your performance review is to get your horrible performance to the point of ordinary failure, instead of it being at a level of extraordinary failure, or failure+.
Seriously, these guys just crack me up.
On the gasoline side of things, I shall remember to use my correct thinking and thank Dear Leader for the new 10¢/gal savings on the gasoline that increased $1.50/gal this year.

The Joe Biden Truman Clown Show
A manufactured crisis is a terrible thing to waste!
I’m trying to understand why he has a graphic of the backlogged containers behind him under the belief that the illustration of a problem not fixed helps his position? Is it meant to show FJB has an idea what is going on?
Joe is so on top of the crisis, that after the meeting he went out in the yard and helped unload those containers, don’t ya know.
And he drove the truck to deliver the contents.
The people who exploit this rotten shell of a petty criminal are over promoting him and are just toying with and demeaning him now. Like taping a “kick me” sign on his back. Nasty, evil progzis!
Pretty sure that’s Sundance’s humorous retouching.
I posted the stats for both ports the other day for November and nothing improved since Biden Claimed he put the ports in 24 hour operation.
The ships are now holding offshore past the 150 mile mark hidden away. The new status of having to hide at sea changes everything. They now have to use the main engine constantly. The backlog has probably moved to anchorage in Asia. It is far better to sit at anchor in Asia than spend money on fuel 150 miles offshore subject to weather and spending money on fuel. If I was a ship owner, I would just call the Marine Exchange and tell them my ship was loaded and ask for an approximate arrival date.
Yep, new rules started November 15. So they can leave port and anchor in Asia lol.

A good clown is funny and entertaining.
This is neither funny nor entertaining.
Thanks for the 10 cents a gallon. Now if you’ll get the other $1.24 per gallon we’ll be back where we were when you took office (before you killed the pipeline for AMERICANS). Are the Russians still getting a pipeline? IOW, do they get Santa and we get the Grinch?
Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart FJB!!!! The Demented Fraud’s puppet masters really think the American population is as stupid as they are.
The Russians sold us Alaska in 1867 for a cool $7.2 MILLION. It was called Sewards Folly, but has paid for itself so many times over. In fact, it paid for itself before the turn of the century in 1900, and it hadn’t even made staehood yet!
We are backsliding BIGLY on former Russian territory. They get to build, yet Alaska doesn’t. May as well sell it back if we can’t make it pay for itself! Every state should be self-sufficient and they can be way more than that. It is why they actually pay their citizens for a job well done. Imagine that.
Instead of taking away services every chance they get, like New York, and so many others.
Irony is that his first idea was the idea of buying Greenland from the Dutch rather than Alaska from the Russians.
Come to think of it I think I remember President Trump proposing paying for Greenland as well. Could be a good deal for the residents there getting U.S. Citizenship and status as a territory of the U.S. and for other reasons much like Alaska.
Iceland would be much better to include rather than Greenland. Ever notice they made Iceland sound cold and Greenland sound warm? Almost like instead of moving to North Carolina, ya went to South Dakota to get warm.
These links suggest that there are quite valuable resources to be found in Greenland.

By the way: Texas is having an EBOLA OUTBREAK and WILD DEMONS ARE EATING PEOPLE ALIVE!!!!
Stay away for your own good.
No, really!!!!
I’m still savoring that .16 cents I saved on the 4th hot dogs!
16 cents saved on hot dogs, 10 cents saved on gas. I’m just rollin’ in dough. Gonna pop the champagne cork tonight. /
Last year I bought gasoline for $1.65, then it went up to $3.30, and now it’s $3.20.
That’s up by 100% and down only 3.03%
WOW, just WOW! FJB/LGB
Our “regular” is now over $4.00/gal!
The greatest asset in the democrat arsenal is that solid base of supporters who aren’t bright enough to understand when their intelligence is being insulted.
The greatest defect in the democrat strategy is their belief that all Americans are as dumb as their base.
I would say it’s the media but that dominance is showing some cracks now.
This post is solid gold wisdom. I shall steal it with the following modification…..their belief that every American is as dumb as they are.
Getting dumber by the day as 20% of us are third world immigrants, legal and illegal.
Potemkin Ecovidnomics Class 101
The thing is this stuff works. Watch his numbers begin to improve. Women voters are especially gullible when it comes to this kind of crap.
And is the GOP doing ANYTHING at all to try and capitalize on the Democrats’/Biden’s floundering?
The GOP should be turning the knife and driving it in farther.
No, they only do that to us.
From the back bench.
Hear Here.
Yes, Joe!
By chance, do you live in Windsville, LOL???
I just checked. None of the GOP’s knives have FJB stamped on them…
Not ALL women, Fred Flintstone.
Way too damn many. Women voters, especially single women, are one of the Democrats’ most reliable voter groups. And they’re stupid. It’s all emotion, zero reason.
Obviously this isn’t all women. Just too damn many.
Bayougirl here Whiskey Sam. Please do not place all of us women in that gullible group. There are quite a large number of us that see very clearly what the Democrats are doing. And the Rinos.
Merry Christmas 🎄
True.
The women in my life are pretty smart and see right through this giant charade and are working against it in whatever way they can.
There are still loyal Betsy Ross’s making and holding American flags, God, family and Nation!
I believe he said, “Obviously this isn’t all women. Just too damn many.”
Yup agreed esp white female suburbanites with a ‘college education.’ Loom at the numbers — that’s a Pillar of the democrat party.
Sad
What if I told you I know an unmarried, white, female post graduate educated woman with lots of cats that works for the FBI and votes Republican? True story. We all have to watch out how we pigeonhole each other. Not because we should be worried about “feelz”, but because tarring everyone with the same brush can cover up the truth. My $.02. I would attributed any breaks given to Biden by low information voters, people that generally just watch the nightly news or read the headlines. People that don’t want to be engaged by politics but want to be enraged.
Again, he did not tar “everyone.” There really should be very little disagreement with what he actually said. The percentages of “suburban women” and “soccer moms” far outweigh the one lady at the FBI and the few others mentioned above.
To win this battle, we should be a little less sensitive to generalizations and a little more focused on the actual problem. We all know who he meant and who he didn’t.
Is it really necessary to say every darned time **not every one**? Am obviously not referring to every last white female college educated suburbanite. Who does not know conservative suburbanite educated women; I know dozens of them.
If I am going to tar them all with the same brush I would say it. I didn’t. I would hope that the conversations here operate at a little higher level of understanding and sophistication.
I am talking about general patterns and if you would look at % you would see the large % of that demographic voting democrat.
Not insightful or productive.
Sheesh
I’m still about $1.50 per gallon behind here in Las Vegas. I guess Joe would consider himself a winner if he dropped $100 at the tables here and then won back $5. “Jill, I won!”
The Chairman never pays.
SD is right they are using Obamacron fear and lockdowns to knock a few cents off the gas price by reducing demand. However this new wave of covid panic will hurt productivity and the supply chain leading to even more inflation. The FED which lied, won’t back off printing new money to support more ‘save America’ spending and giveaway schemes. The continued suspension of student loan repayments is just a taste of the need to save Americans before the midterms.
The student loan trick is just to pander to the young communist students ahead of the midterms.
They set mine to deferment and I didn’t realize it until I used my tax return to make a principal payment. I thought I turned the deferment off, didn’t pay attention, and checked it this month and it was still deferred. I was pissed.
Biden suffers from a severe case of Cranium Rectum.
I tho’t he just got out of the hospital for that. They couldn’t fix it?
I’m curious what everyone is seeing out there: store supplies, inflation, gas prices, heating bills?
I’m in Central VA and groceries are a lot more expensive but shelves are full. For non-food items, store supplies are better than last December but not what they were pre-covid. Gas is around 3.15 a gallon. My heat is electric and seems normal but I have nuclear-generated electric.
Sundance – We need another Ground Reports thread!!!
I have a theory about why food shelves may appear to be full. People cannot afford to buy as much, therefore the sheelvess don’t empty as fast.
What food bill I paid in Aug of this year, has gone up almost 40 percent. I will have to start looking for coupons that I never had to use before. I’m now retired! One hundred dollars of food is darn near enough for speedy lane at check out! Instead of a shopping cart, I could’ve almost used a hand basket, LOL!
I am just north of Seattle – regular unleaded gas is just over $4.00 per gallon here and has been since last summer. Shelves in the stores are very hit and miss – probably about 75-80% of things I want are available but there are some things that are almost never in stock so I buy several every time I see them (toiletries, vitamins, and pasta all come to mind).
Prices on groceries are generally 15-25% higher than they were a year ago and there are fewer items on sale. Milk is over $3.00 for a half gallon and coffee is at least 10% higher. Meat is way up – we just went in on a half cow from a local rancher because the prices in the store are out of control!
So far, neither our electricity nor our natural gas have increased but I anticipate that will change soon. We are retired and on a fixed income so that will be yet another blow to our budget…
The only “good” news is that a lot more people seem to be waking up to the disaster that many of them voted for, and suddenly, all of us that tried to warn them don’t seem quite so crazy anymore, do we?
Much the same in Northern Arkansas but was in Lowes today and they have “storage bins” spread out to fill entire sections where normal merchandise would be. Gas $2.79 and groceries are at least 20% higher than a year ago. I don’t buy much grocery as I have at least 12-18 months stocked now, just fill in fresh vegetables till I can get my garden going again. Stocked up on oil/filters, wiper blades, various size batteries, food, ammo and reloading supplies, clothes, seeds, cleaning/disinfectant, paper products and about everything else.
Hi Lulu,
I live in a country just south of the US called Florida. While the “Village Idiot” babbled about 10 cents our elected head of state suspended our 25 cent per gallon tax on motor fuel. Our 1 billion $ budget for next year was just approved and should be OK since we have a 1.5 billion reserve to roll over. Store shelves are full now since our ports are now taking much of that “reduction” in backup at the Dem controlled ports. My wife and I just went down to one of Gov’ner Ron”s 25 filling stations near us and got our tanks filled with Trump juice (Regeneron) at no cost to us. We have no state income tax and Federal mask and vaccine mandates a prohibited by state statute.
I know that this all seems like a bunch of bragging but my point I want to make is that we once lived under Democrat rule that was all directed by the Federal government. We endured for many years under people like Charlie Crist and Lawton Childs. It took years and many thousands of hard working Floridians to gain the degree of independence that we now enjoy today compared to most of our country. The point that Sundance often makes is critical, they are few, we are many and united we are unstoppable. Good people like the ones on this and other conservative sites must join together and let your voices be heard, push the envelope and be that squeaking wheel. I don’t have a lot of miles left in this old tank but I will use them to fight for the future of my grandchildren and great grandchildren. Please join me in a unified effort to destroy the communist takeover of our country in 2022.
I am here in Ponte Vedra Bch. Fla., was at Publix today ordering from the deli and the masked lady next to me started to tell me how she just came from Boston. She could not believe how nice and happy people are here. I was about to have a conversation with her when my husband showed up and I cut it short, he gets frustrated because I end up having long conversation with other customers and the Publix staff but thats just how it is.
I have always enjoyed talking to people but since the pandemic I find folks are desperate to talk, lots of lonely people. I told hubby its probably best to not go grocery shopping with me.
Go ahead and pat yourself on the back Brandon, for being the one (not) responsible for lowering the price of gasoline by about 10 cents rather then other market forces.
Even though the net change since last year is still north of about 60% more because of many of the policies you have endorsed.
Recall Jimmy Carter gas coupon….the 2 dollar bill.
What to you all think is up w/the Potemkin Village set? Why is it used? What is the benefit to the administration?
Progs like to use images and symbolism in lieu of reality.
Can you believe we live in a reality where the folks who get paid to ask that question haven’t yet?
Sitting behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, you would feel the reproachful eyes of Washington and Jefferson, Coolidge and Reagan boring into the back of your skull.
The Potemkin Village is Joe’s “safe space”.
Yeh — he’s even sitting at a table, definitely not the Resolute desk! There’s been other times people have wandered behind the window, or a show of nice spring flowers when it’s actually winter! They probably believe they can fool us with this charade. Maybe they’re right, nothing much — not many fighting to change-out the current, fraudulent administration
they cant fit all the stand by medical equipment in the white house
by doing this visitors to the white house do not have to sign in,so there is no record of who comes and goes.
There may be more than meets the eye to that.
Rumor is that the “stage” was set up so that he could have large, easy-to-read monitors with his “script” right in front of him but where the cameras won’t pick up the glare from them like they would in the Oval Office.
The other rumor is that he is actually in Delaware most of the time, rather than in DC, because The White House confuses him and he is less stressed when Jill can just bring him back into familiar surroundings for his ice cream and nap time after the drugs that they give him wear off!
Both options seem plausible to me…
Hmm. Very interesting and I agree with you that both options sound very plausible.
I agree, don’t remember it being used before. He got a jab at the same set earlier. Would bet it was a fake jab at that!
I think whenever his Depends fail, they have to move to the set while the cleaning crew detoxes the carpet.
Notice how the set floor is poop-resistant material. 😬
It’s the person who goes to the casino with 100$ who comes home with 50$ and tells you they won 100 dollars. Same with BBB destroying everything, and then they tell you how much better it is when it’s worse.
Gas prices:
I think he meant a decrease of -10 cents per gallon. When you subtract a negative that means you increase.
At least that explanation would reconcile with the $.10 +/- increases that occurred around my neck of the woods this past week..
The only thing the clown knows about business is to make sure he gets his 10%.
ZeroHedge had a story about gas prices. The take away – This time of the year, gas prices should be at a seasonal low. So Potato Joe’s already high gas prices are that much worse, considering where they normally range this time of year.
With just under 30 years experience in the retail gasoline business, I can tell you that historically, pump prices ALWAYS increase for any holiday period during which people travel. “This time of year,” that would include the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays. So, I don’t understand what ZeroHedge is referring to…
People are not traveling as much so demand is down, thus prices have slightly gone done.
I drive approximately 5,000 miles per month in middle western Georgia and middle eastern Alabama. Many of those miles are on I-85 between Newnan, GA and Montgomery, AL; with quite a few also on I-185 between I-85 and Columbus GA. I also drive US Hwy 431 in Alabama from Eufaula, AL to just south of where it intersects with I-20 as well as the backroads in both states quite a bit.
There’s very little difference in traffic from this time last year. So, in my opinion, “people not traveling” is not much of a factor.
Rather, I believe either the oil companies or the retail gas companies are being coerced into keeping prices a bit lower in hopes that doing so will help Biden’s abysmal approval ratings.
It’s like a parody of the Presidency.
Except none of us are laughing.
It all ends when we remove ALL of Congress and 85% of federal workers.
This ⬆️
Too big a racket. Israel will never allow it. Remember, Trump says our Congress being controlled by Israel is a GREAT thing! And make sure you get that booster like he did. Clown world never shrinks, only expands.
Now you’re talking.
He can spin like a top all day long, nobody believes him anymore.
The supply chain fiasco is a global problem – not just some container ships sitting off the coast of CA. The whole system and its interleaving dependancies is brittle. The idiot in charge doesn’t understand this. It’s a system-of-systems problem that is a long ways from being fixed.
Meanwhile, Lesko Brandon also doesn’t get that he created the domestic energy crisis as Sundance has expertly explained. The ramifications of that ideology driven policy go well beyond gasoline in the tank and will persist for years.
“Biden saved Christmas!” So says the Psak.
Liars with scripted narratives and evil plans.

If I ran my business like FJB runs his economy,
I wouldn’t have a business.
Everyone knows that the government is run like nobody’s business – if you ran yours like the government, you’d wind up in jail.
“…all the retail sales shelves are stocked for Christmas purchasing.”
Really?? Clearly SlowJoe is getting his talking points from a cue card and he hasn’t actually stepped foot into a real store in decades! Yes, I know that it is December 22nd so certain items being out of stock is to be expected, but there are empty shelves all over the stores and they have been that way for MONTHS! Basic things, staples, specialty items, holiday specific products…you name it – it is either not there or the prices are 10-25% higher than they were even a year ago!
Biden should just work from home. He can destroy the country just as effectively from Delaware as he can from DC. Maybe turn the WH into a democracy museum.
Libtards cried about how unpresidential PDJT was.
Now we cry about how unsustainable FJB’s economy is.
Which one is worse?
Ive no doubt that middle class America will throw this FJB economic policy in the dumpster,
very soon.
The teachers union probably loves this…Biden improved from an F to an E minus
1 of 160 Globalist Puppets!
This jerk is too much to listen too. He is just regurgitating Obama’s orders.
Let’s just build back American, with automation labor cost as part of production is very low. The skilled labor involved is well paid. The supply chain problem goes away when the plants are scattered across the USA.
Sorry Bugs, I had to do it.
Overture, curtain, lights
This is it, the night of nights

On with the show this is it.
Tonight what heights we’ll hit.
On with the show, this is it.
Can’t get it out of my head 😫 now.
Especially visualizing JoeBama in his show time costume getting ready to perform 🎭
Right?
Do I believe Joe or my lying eyes?
I am sitting on the deck literally looking at 95+ container ship to be unloaded in Long Beach.
Once again a lie.
The fake president’s team of experts on the economy, are almost as good as the ones handling Venezuela’s economy.
Daft and delusional clowns running the Whitehouse and gaslighting excuses through a compliant corporate propaganda machine.
Sleep well America! No mean tweets!
Chyron:
BIDEN: PORTS NOW MOVING HISTORIC AMOUNTS OF GOODS
Let me finish that sentence:
Because they sat on their a**e* for the last year or two, maybe longer, while collecting paychecks on the backs of innocent taxpayers.
This goes hand in hand with the DOJ saying $100 billion in COVID relief funds was stolen – but bragging that they have recovered $2.5 billion of it. Wow 2 1/5 %, now that’s something to brag about. Like Psaki said you gotta lower your expectations.
$100 billion here, $85 billion in Afghanistan, etc, etc. Pretty soon you’re talking real money.
“Joe Biden went back to the White House stage set today (always weird) ”
The production value is outstanding and you should see the editing capabilities.
IF gas is down it is because of the winter mix pricing kicking in. There is nothing that Delusional Joe has done to help it.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND
FJB FJB FJB FJB FJB FJB
We’re close to Autocratic rule, Sundance! Xi and Putin bring this up EVERYTIME, SUNDANCE! IT’S NO JOKE! They say today things move to fast for Democracy! Eeee-Yhaaa
Too fast for our supply chain, apparently.
Lol these people are effed up and strange.
I wonder who is sitting behind the desk in the real oval office while this idiot is playing make believe.
This administration constantly lies about issues that MATTER, pointing out failures claiming they’re actual victories.
HE’S GASLIGHTING US
“[T]he port container backlog was almost fixed,..”
This has little or nothing to do with Biden’s policy decisions.
Rather , it is faster and cheaper to reach East coast ports by transiting the Panama Canal than to wait three weeks in LA/LB and move goods East from there by truck or rail.
https://www.freightwaves.com/news/amazing-transit-times-from-china-its-faster-to-reach-new-york-than-la
H/T: Zero Hedge
I just can’t stand to listen to this fraud any more. He’s in the class with that pinhead Wallace! He can’t take his eye off the telePromter. I don’t recall any other POTUS using a stage before!
Barack Obama’s acceptance speech at Invesco Field featured a pair of styrofoam Greek columns flanking his podium.
BHO larping a Roman orator has to rank as the most ridiculous theatrical production in US Presidential history.
Is there something keeping them or chasing them out of the White House?
In the near future… One White House Press Correspondent to another:
“Never be the first person to stop clapping”
Don’t worry the seals will clap on cue and continue to do so until they’re given their reward for doing do.
Gas prices haven’t dropped here in southeast PA at all. FJB making s**t up again.
Once the overnights and mortgage rates go up, there will be a crash.
And they have to go up in order to fight inflation.
Raising rates is the only trick in the bag with FJBidenomics.
One of the best things about PDJT, is he knew how to support our economy through fiscal AND economic policy.
They work together.
The man is a genius, and it’s no wonder we had the most prosperous and stable economy in 60 years, under his direction,
Fort McPherson Georgia?
Every time I see him on that fake White House stage set, I can’t help but wonder who is in the real Oval Office.
Stock in north and south Louisiana groceries is spotty. Wife asked me to get all purpose flour, half and half and confectioners sugar among a few other things for sugar cookies. Three stores to check off all the items. No all purpose flour but there was some White Lily unbleached, so bought that. I blame Bribem for the reaming I got for getting the wrong flour and it taking too long.
My response to the wife would have been, “That’s what you get when you send a man to do a woman’s job.”
Probably explains why I’m divorced. 🤔
I took the cheese cake out of the oven when the timer went off.
Got yelled at.
I blame FJB.
Have never paid so much for TP and paper towels. 18 months ago 1: or the other was always on sale . I try to but exactly what’s on my wife’s list, saves me a tripnof returning things. Shelves seem to be mostly full but my price shopping skills are no longer useful since I am happy it is still there. Calenders no longer available at the banks. Bought 2 at the dollar store(now 1.25 ) . Luckily all is well in fl. Fortunately we own but rents are up 25 to 75% in the last 12 to 18 months. Wishing a Merry Christmas to all here and a happy and healthy new year. Pray and remember who is large and in charge.
China Joe and his handlers ……..all true Marxists……. showing off their Ptomekin Villages, lying about everything, then bragging about what a great job he is doing.
