Transportation Secretary Alfred E Newman took center stage today to outline the White House response to the gas crisis as people up and down the East coast are unable to find fuel. We are so screwed with these professional political idiots, who have never held a real private sector job, in charge of U.S. policy.
Secretary Newman is skilled in the use of parseltongue: ‘We understand the concerns that need to be understood in order to evaluate the concerns that have been expressed. Our understanding has led to a larger discussion about the concerns and we understand the need to coordinate with our partner agencies toward the common goal of understanding. Now that we have the analysis to understand the greater concern, we are evaluating the fastest way to express the understanding of the analysis to a more broad network of partners. As soon as that network understanding is in place, then we will have a better understanding for the American people about their concern‘.. or something. Yes, these are the words of wisdom from the Secretary of Transportation.
Think I’m kidding… Well, you try:
Reminds me of Jimmy Peanut who suggested we deal with his energy crisis by buying a sweater.
Some things never change.
Especially morons.
Yep! Finally gets him off the floor after 41 years.
he should be arrested for torturing the english language.
Some speak in foreign languages. Obviously, his foreign language is the Woke language, spoken only in communities of dementia sufferers!
Looks like a replay of “Mad Magazine” is upon us. The only difference is the clowns in MM were fictional and meant to be funny. Compared to the current BITEME Admin clowns they look like geniuses.
Alfred E. Neuman = Mad kid….wierd.
When one can speak for 10 minutes and not actually say anything, I’d call that the ‘mongrelization of the English language’ aka “GovSpeak”.
George Orwell called it “Newspeak.” It was created by Ingsoc, or in our case, Amsoc.
Also Double Speak
It’s really amazing, isn’t it? Libs all speak the same way, many words, say nothing. Where do they learn this? Obama was the king of this language speak – I never knew what he was talking about. He would ‘answer’ two or three questions at a press conference, speak for 20 minutes on each question, never answer the question, and just present a word salad. “Oh he’s such a great orator’!! people would say. HA! I loved Trump’s answers – ‘yes’ ‘no’ ‘what a stupid question’!
I hated when people told me how great he sounds.
It was ridiculous. I knew Obama was actually legitimately stupid and stood for nothing when 1) he could never answer any question and 2) people claiming he was an “orator” could never quote a single line.
And every one they tried to ended up being stolen.
He would literally wind up one way then wind up the opposite way. As evil as she is, Hillary did actually answer questions like her fake husband the rapist. Clintons had overly long answers, but they were answers.
I don’t think she’s answered a real question since hooking up with Obama either so it makes you wonder if it’s part of that “media training” they do.
Trump was/is a genius. He just goes for the jugular. He can run out the clock if he needs to but usually he slices directly at an actual answer, and it’s usually REALLY a good answer.
I can’t go back to hacks and traitors. I won’t.
I’m getting my vote and my president back.
I think we all may be a bit tough on this guy. We all have to remember his intelligence is what lifted Gary, Indiana , as Mayor, to the level of being Indiana’s Paradise On The Lake.
He’s a brainwashed Rhodes Scholar like Billy C and Rachel Madcow
LOL. Rhodes scholars! Right up there with Pulitzer prize and Nobel prize winners. The spidey senses alert at the designations.
He is from South Bend, Indiana, not Gary. He is not a man of steel.
A ‘bendy’ man then? 🙂
Rust maybe. Not even sure about that.

And give us that commie smirk while they say nothing/lie.
During the 2008 election, Obama mesmerized by use of reverb. His message was contentless, vacuous, empty, and as satisfying as eating puffed rice crackers. Why did people fall for his empty rhetoric? The only answer I could find was “reverb”.
There are people who, the more they talk, the less meaning they convey.
So that, were they to speak forever, they would say exactly nothing.
We are so screwed.
ISWYDT. “Sec of Trans” (-gender)
you can thanks to GOPe……

I assume the press just nodded approvingly…
One in the back was balancing themselves on a multi-colored ball and clapping their hands while barking.
Is it bad that I immediately assumed Sundance’s quote was verbatim? Honestly, watching the video was probably more torturous than reading Sundance’s interpretation of Secretary Parseltongue!
And yes, I did live through the Carter years and it is what made me a conservative! Although, in many ways, many sectors of our economy never fully recovered… that is the point in our history when many moms were forced into the job market in order to afford what had previously been attainable on one income, due to inflation. (My mother was one of them and it had a definite negative impact on our family, my brother especially)
Sigh. A familiar story.
Was it not verbatim? I assumed it was, and didn’t bother with the video.
I’ve tried my absolute hardest to stay home with the boys. I’ve taken bit jobs and gig jobs and every online job I could qualify for, so I could be here with the kids. It’s just… hardly, barely, almost impossible, to live with only one income.
I lived through it the first time around as a kid and so my husband and I made tons of sacrifices in order to have me at home…I think it was worth it and we were very blessed that he had good job security and excellent benefits. I never took that lightly and tried to never judge people who made different choices because I didn’t know their circumstances. The only time I ever got irritated was when someone told me that they wished they “could stay at home like you do but we just can’t afford it”! They had a 3600 sq ft house on two acres, bought new vehicles every couple of years, took their kids to Hawaii for Spring Break and Europe in the summers! Kind of hard to feel a lot of sympathy for how “hard” her double income life was!!
My husband doesn’t have a stable permanent job, and never benefits. We try to make it work anyway. Between my lack of college education, having only one car for the entire family, and my only work experience being retail (which has a fairly strict code of dress for women,) it wouldn’t actually give us much more income even if I took a full-time job. So I figure that I’m better off being with our toddlers, and homeschooling them when they’re older, and doing online bitwork.
Of course, that was before Biden and the competition for those online jobs became an absolute scrimmage.
I often read your posts, and enjoy them immensely.
Like many here we grew up dirt poor, and was determined to change that.
Like many immigrants we were extremely frugal, and valued owning ones own home, and no consumer debt!
We have stuff now, but. I still drive my 1995 GMC 3/4 ton 4×4
Our youngest son is GM at a Major Dealership his company wheels are valued at around $80,000
He understands debt better than most, and although only in his later twenties h will be a dad himself any minute now, and his wife plans to give up her career and be a stay at home mum.
His mum quit a terrific job to be a stay at home mum for he and his brother.
When they were little, I took the boys to my hometown, in Scotland and went into the house we grew up in.
There were five adult women, two adult men and three boys that lived in our house.
No inside toilet, bath or shower.
No biggie to poor sharecropper types here. But that was right up until 1971. When we finally got indoor plumbing
Our boys understand our fear of debt, sadly most under Fifty year olds have known only “cheap money.”
God bless PDJT
Prayers for your son, daughter-in-law, and baby!
I’m in my mid-twenties, my husband is mid-thirties (and so we have a bit of a different outlook on life than most Treepers.) We’re not huge fans of debt, either… our only debt right now is our car payment; once the kids came along a Corolla just wasn’t big enough. Everything else we pay off as soon as we can… tax returns and stimulus checks have helped with that.
We don’t own a home, we’re bouncing from apartment to apartment… which is better than living with my inlaws, which is where we were three years ago. Thank God we’re not as crowded as y’all were, and we have plumbing!
I used to work at Dillard’s making $13 an hour – not bad, for retail. I quit when Boy 1 made his grand entrance into the world. Since then, I’ve been working on trying to find free educational/accreditation resources to, one day in the hopefully near future, start a freelance copy editing/proofreading business.
In the end, the choice really boils down to – what’s more important, my children’s minds and souls, or materialism? It’s not a hard decision.
God bless you TreeClimber you will be well rewarded in the future have faith in your kids will be very lucky and they are lucky to have a mother like you.
1971??? (I grew up poor but we did have indoor plumbing). Awesome that you persevered. God bless you and yours.
Yes, God Bless PDJT.
Deke,
I too grew up very poor. I had to steal food to eat. But, I don’t share that for my pity or yours but rather to demonstrate the disconnect many have regarding poor people and their goals. I am who I am because I grew up poor. I saw firsthand how welfare enabled my mom to do more drugs not less. How government housing also did the same. And, our story was one of the hundreds in our little section 8 enclave.
My point- many of us grew up poor and we are the ones who hate these government programs. Yet, we are the ones the MSM and politicians try to avoid talking to. Why? Because we run counter to what they claim to be the benefits of government. We are first-hand witnesses to how those programs destroy rather than build.
Viking, your story sounds just like my wife and my story. We made the same hard choices and made many sacrifices. We heard the same things from the same types of people. Those same people also always comment on how great our sons are, how they are gentlemen but yet so “boyish” and rugged. They are respectful and thoughtful they say…then follow up with “We wish our kids acted like yours”
They could of made the same choices and raised their kids with a mom at home but they chose to play the “Keep up with the Jone’s Game” instead.
God bless you. My spouse and I also made sacrifices, did without and were generally pitied and patronized by family and co-workers for our old cars, “staycations”, yard-saling, and frugality. We homeschooled, lived on one income for years. I do not regret a thing.
Tree, my wife did the same. We don’t regret it. Our children are better for it and they demonstrate every day with their actions.
What will happen after massive inflation this time around? Your spouse already works. I guess you could put your children to work. We can extend work hours to 16 per day. You could pimp out your spouse for extra income. What else can you do?
Does AEN use a Boggle shaker, put words in, shake and pour and that is his statement? I have a friend with a 2 month old baby that makes more sense with “baby talk” than this clown! And just think, we’re actually paying him a salary to babble like this! At least Joe has an excuse—he’s getting on in age. How did AEN ever get elected mayor?
LOL! Need you ask? After Nov., 2020, I no longer ask that question. I know.
Anyone inclined to suspect that they caused this, or gave the green light to our redoubtable “IC” to engineer it? Creating crisis is what they do best. Just as the Covid panic winds down and a return to “normal” is conceivable, we have this sudden “crisis.” And striking with particular effect across Southern red states.
In any case, from now on I predict it will be a daisy chain of crises.
This is very much old hat.
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.
H. L. Mencken
Excellent.
This is a false flag. There is no way that sophisticated systems like this don’t have multiple redundant backups including manual overrides. With California, Texas blackouts and now this, I think they are conditioning us for power outages and gas shortages this next winter (as well as a new covid outbreak).
That said, I have contracted with an electrician to install a generator backup panel on my house for my portable 5000w generator. I am going to stock up on cans of gas. My contractor said it is hard to find the panels right now but found one for me. If you are thinking of doing this, I suggest getting set up ASAP. Parts are scarce. Outages are coming. I’m in a western red state. I burn wood for most of my heat (propane and electric backup) and need the electric for my well pump and freezer at a minimum. I’ve stocked up on 6+ months of food and supplies to lock in the price. I just hate these manipulative bastards.
Don’t forget the ship in the Suez canal that experts said was puzzling since ships that size a quarter mile long, have multiple backup systems. In this case all the backup systems failed as well.
They absolutely do, several levels deep as your surmise, and a Certified Professional Engineer has executed and approved the Risk Analysis and put his name and professional standing on the line, subject to exposure for liability and incompetence. The PE applies his numbered seal.
And another PE, at every level – structural, electrical, software, hardware, geological, meterological, you name it. Life critical systems are extremely difficult to do right, and rightly so.
And then, there’s Boeing….
I keep my travel trailer next to my house. Generator, small spring, plenty of propane and gasoline. We can downsize bigly in minutes!
Exactly! Expect power outages. I had an electrician install a new panel and switch for my generator (12,000Watts). I’m going to have to make a natural gas conversion next so that I don’t have to store too much gasoline. (The generator came in real handy during the Texas freeze in February. I upgraded the panel to accept 50Amps. The 50Amp breakers are in short supply since everyone seems to be doing this.) My wife and I started stocking up on food, though we have a way to go in that regard. I have a supply of ammo and plenty of guns. We need to stock up on water as well.
Make a disaster preparedness plan.
Absolutely.
Fubar Pete is expert at rear ending folks and using his mouth as a prop dump…
Verbose. Reminds me of the trolls who make $ by the comment on some other conservative sites.
Mayor Pete may be too stupid to breathe, which “might be a concern as I understand, the concern, but most assuredly would give us all a belly laugh and improve all concerned.”
‘what, me worry?”
(someone else probably already said that)
He believes and Joe Biden firmly believes that these beliefs are widely understood.
Just more liberal window dressing trying to block out the light. Translation – I hav’nt got a clue and someone wrote this for me.
Biden and Harris want to cut America’s carbon emissions fifty percent by 2030. They can’t do this unless they double or even triple the price of the gasoline, the diesel, and the natural gas used to power our cars and trucks, to supply our electricity, and to heat our homes.
The temptation to do this must be very strong, because they know that as long as they still control how the votes are being counted, they will be completely immune from any voter backlash arising in response to their horrifically expensive energy policies.
We’re all going to die, aren’t we?
Some never live. Mask wearing covidiots hiding at home for example.
Eventually.
Remember that magic weekend during the lackluster 2020 democrat primary when they all got that special call to drop out so Dopey Joe could be the front runner or else . . . with the promise of some sort of future political payback?
Well this idiot as Transportation Secretary is just one of the results.
Research this site and find the posts explaining the way Biden was propped up in the primaries to deflect from the heat of the Ukrainian corruption investigation against him. Basically, if Biden becomes a “legitimate” candidate then any investigation about him, and ultimately those tied to him, will amount to election interference, an impeachable offense against Trump. When he was poling so low during the primary it was hard to think of him as a viable candidate. He’s only allowed to run as a resume enhancement, and as an insurance policy if needed. Turns out it was needed.
Good lord – what a dope…
this-“we are trying to understand the understanding of the concerns that can be understood by having a conversation about the understanding of the greater concerned understanding of the American people” we are so screwed!
Dear God…
How many times did he use the root word understand? Understand, understood, understanding…
Please, just stab us in the kidney, it would be less painful.
Oh my God! It would be funny if it wasn’t so bloody awful.
Sundance, I’m sorry.
I couldn’t quite understand what you were getting at and I hope you understand that I don’t understand. ??
“The original machine had a base plate of prefabulated amulite, surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two main spurving bearings were in a direct line with the panametric fan. The latter consisted simply of six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling was effectively prevented. The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-deltoid type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots in the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a nonreversible tremmie pipe to the differential girdlespring on the “up” end of the grammeters.”

That is definitely not parseltongue is it? Something tells me the way it’s written is the language for those in the field. Am I correct?
Technobabble humor.
Exactly, he’s saying a lot of big words that mean nothing together but sound sophisticated. LOL.
The DemonRats use the babble when they are not employing their regular manipulative language for managing perceptions.
That’s a good one as I’ve never see it. Thanks for answering my question. ????
Perfectly fine description of a Turboencabulator. ?
Made more sense than buttboy and at least it made me smile.
If you can do this bit clean you have a future in voice acting 😉
Besides sounding like the 10 technical manuals I bought 20 years ago to tell me how to program and use my Korg M1 keyboard (that were translated from Japanese), your post made more sense than that whackobabble the DemonRats spew.
That is a nice keyboard and I hope you still have it.
My entire liberal family has no clue how stoopid these people are and how horrible their policies are. All they care about is systematic racism and at least he doesn’t send mean tweets. Got to give the mainstream media credit for keeping all their outright incompetence hidden. Must be awkward for the media when they get their talking points to see the damage being done and know that they are responsible for it not being communicated. They drive cars too, travel on airplanes, buy food.
But, Fan, these “reporters” think they will be immune to the crisis being created. They truly believe they are part of the club. They will learn the hard way that they were only useful idiots.
Exactly
hahahahahaha. this guy never ages. i was reading his mag at the soda fountain in the late 60’s.
I used to read all my big brother’s collection when I was growing up. They used to be funny.
AEN is one of many ill-prepared and ignorant party regulars hitting the jackpot of positions in the DAA (Dumb Ass Administration).
Jis’ goes to show…annnybody can get into Harvard.
He’s from the Department of Non-answer Answers.
Parseltongue? Well, yes. But even more like forked tongue.
Equating this boob to Alfred E. Newman is an appalling offense to Alfred E. Newman’s mental brilliance.
Your point is spot on. Apologies to AEN. This turd couldn’t hold teacup to him.
Related parseltongue: “We condemn these actions in the strongest possible terms. The American people can rest assured that we will be diligently searching for even stronger terms. All terms will be evaluated for their strength; our adversaries would be gravely mistaken to interpret the current absence of stronger terms as a sign of weakness. As soon as stronger terms become available, we will not hesitate to increase our condemnation to reflect those new and stronger terms.”
“I know you think you believe you understand what you thought I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is exactly what I meant.” Richard M. Nixon.
….and *this* is perfectly clear!
https://thefederalist.com/2021/05/12/biden-claims-education-is-the-key-to-solving-gas-shortages/
Education just may be the key for Biden.
he has no clue, and this jackass thought he had a shot at the top slot.
he probably exhausted the bottom slot
OMG you made me laugh so hard Sundance. I did forget that Alfred was the transportation secretary. Isn’t it so strange that the most disliked (very low ratings) people somehow were assigned to key positions (like Kamala, for instance)? Mr. Butt has zero experience, seriously, in anything of importance. We are living in Clown World with little pretend Communists at the helm of what was once the world’s greatest super power. Unbelievable.
Barnum and Bailey could never have imagined such a freak show as the Biden administration.
We live in Idiocracy. I just can’t remember drinking the KoolAid
Oh look at me, mommy! I’m a government executive now!
Found this on Zero Hedge:
https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/us-considering-foreign-tankers-move-domestic-fuel-supplies
A commenter mentioned the problem would be fixed before this could happen. My thought lie within the US Merchant Marine.
Industrial maritime laws here are laws prevent the ships from being manned with foreign crew. Unless the laws have been changed. The laws are quite detailed and used to favor the US. (I have a very weak understanding of this topic).
https://www.morethanshipping.com/an-overview-of-cabotage-laws-more-than-just-the-jones-act/
https://www.marinelink.com/news/history-overview-us-cabotage-laws-482078
I think this is one puddle the administration should not step in.
Endeavor to persevere
One of my favorite lines! 😉
He and Jennifer the so-called Sec. of Energy are a clown car in action.
9 Times he uses understand or understanding….
Ok…I thought the quote was verbatim too and I had already heard it.
Putting windfarm off Martha’s Vineyard is making me suspicious. Biden is hated on all sides.
For Buttgeig to stand there so at ease an utter that continual mouthing of useless word salad took a lot of previous practicing.
Thank joyously the good Lord he never made it close to becoming president.
One minute The Dementia Man shuts down the vital Keystone pipeline with a laugh…………..
The next minute the Colonial pipeline shutdown is evil Russian hacking, oh woe is Joe.
The Russians are doing Joe and the Sierra Club a big favor, they shut down a pipeline….wonder if money changed hands?
The comparison should make Republican election ads in 2022.
What Me Worry
This video about the vocabulary of evil explains so much.
https://www.bitchute.com/video/yUQqwi1mbYjI/
OMG I was watching the presser today and I when he started speaking i started laughing so hard, he really does look like Alfred E Newman. lmao
That is why he is not worried.
Here in my westen NC town there is only one gas station with any gas. I’m retired and my two cars with a half tank each will probably see me through what I think will be a short term problem. But the larger one of cost will continue.
Yes, Democrats, elections, including stolen ones, have conseqences. Unlike the imaginary, self-inflicted, psychological ones you felt under Trump, Biden’s are real and you’re really going to feel it in your pocketbooks. Unfortunately, so are tyhe rest of us. Thanks, idiots.
Saladmaster. Word Salad Master.
At least he can ride his bike with training wheels to work.
This guy is auditioning for a teaching position at UPenn. Say nothing, and use a lot of words.
Biden is a ‘professor’ there, BTW.
Total jiberish, and to be expected from total incompetence. More coming, I’m sure.
