If the people of Minnesota allowed all this to grow and happen in their own state, well let them now deal with it.
It was their right to do this, allow this, let them experience the consequences.
But don’t come asking the country for your re-build money.

I saw two maps that stuck in my memory banks after Trump’s first successful run for President. The first map showed every sanctuary county in the U.S. and the second map showed every county that voted for Hillary Clinton.
The two maps were identical…which shows why all the fraud and corruption is happening in Democrat run states!
Secretary Bessent is correct to say that Governor Walz is a coward…but he is also an utterly corrupt coward, as are nearly all Democrat politicians…I mean all of ’em, at the local, state and national levels, or the “three chambers of government” as AOC would put it!
I mean, if you’re not corrupt why would you even want to be in the Democrat party?

Walz fails to know Bessent’s history of working on Soros team that took the Bank of England down and crashed the country. Good thing Bessent came to the right side. He took a year or two before 2024 election and did a historical comparison of Trumps plan for the economy. I
He studied what the founding fathers set up originally and Trump’s plan. And confirmed Trump could do everything he promised. I watched every podcast on Bannon where he was interviewed.

Because of Bessent’s past, I was initially leery of him. But he truly does seem to be all in on MAGA, which is bad news for the Deepstate. He really is brilliant economically. The hurting he is putting on China, Europe, Canada, etc is staggering. If we can somehow pull out of the economic mess we’ve created for ourselves, it will be in no small part because of Bessent. Walz is too dumb to even realize how outmatched he is. A teacup chihuahua versus a rottweiler doesn’t even begin to convey how outmatched Walz is.
Talking to the smart one next to me about how we should NOT invoke the Insurrection act right now over this.
I mentioned the Watts riots, there was some very serious rioting back in the 60s and they didn’t do that.
He reminded me that those riots back then were far more of the real deal, that was an old fashioned grass roots uprising.
He described what we’re seeing today as Astroturf, this is an entire planned, bought and paid for made for TV event.
Cut off the funding and this all falls apart immediately like a balloon deflating.
These are not the same thing as riots of the past and he says they can barely be classified as real riots even because they’d not have happened had this all be set up, paid for and staged, it’s a LARP even to some degree. There are many people that now do all this as a job.

I have a long memory too. It’s an interesting position to take that today’s Astroturf riots are somehow less dangerous than the grass roots riots of the 1960s, or even the Rodney King riots of 1992. Legitimate grass roots riots run extremely hot for relatively short periods of time, but then they burn themselves out and are permanently extinguished thereafter.
Not so with Astroturf riots. Astroturf riots are conducted by small paid armies of violent individuals who will suddenly appear for the purpose of creating havoc, destruction and even death. Let’s be clear – these are real riots, and the destruction and injuries they cause people are very real. When buildings are burned down and millions or billions of dollars of property is destroyed, they can never be classified as not “real riots.” A standing army of violent criminals, which is essentially what these people are, is a very dangerous weapon, and one that should not be permitted to exist in this country.
Having said that, I doubt President Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act prior to the completion of investigations into, and hopefully prosecutions of, those who are funding the insurrection, because those people, in addition to their foot soldiers, are clearly guilty of insurrection.
While Walz is a certified ccp putz, the area where Bessent gave his speech and conference was in Wayzata, MN. This is the southern edge of Hennepin County. It’s one of the few RED areas remaining around the Mpls area. I mean where it is run by conservative lite type people. It’s the Lake Minnetonka area. I am sure that Wayzata police provided plenty of security for Secr. Bessent along with his own security detail. These are not Barney Fife police either and they are well funded.
That said, it still shows Walz’s juvenile marxist behavior. I hope/wish/pray that Walz and his administrative mobsters get hung by Secr Bessent. I’ve gotten so jaded though at this point I have zero confidence in the DOJ and FBI.
Walz is a moron. He will now get to be “interviewed” at a place of Mr. Bessents choosing.

Tangential point but a valid one, IMHO…it is time to completely overhaul the entire 501 (c) 3 systems in this country as they have been used for decades to manipulate the tax code by making certain groups both totally unaccountable AND incredibly wealthy!
When the 16th Amendment was passed, churches and charities were exempt from paying any taxes for two reasons. The first was because of the “freedom of religion” clause in the First Amendment and secondly, because they were doing social work that no one else was doing. Feeding the poor, setting up hospitals, opening orphanages, etc.
All of those functions were later incorporated into the government, first by FDR and then later by LBJ, under whom the welfare state expanded exponentially. And then, the final piece of the puzzle was George W Bush’s creation of The Office of Faith Based Initiatives in 2001, which was when the NGO Industrial Complex exploded!!
And now, we have mega churches, celebrity pastors, non profit behemoths, all courtesy of the US Taxpayer! And we no longer have individual budgets and our National Debt sits at close to 40 Trillion dollars!! If someone wants to give money to a charity or their church, more power to them…BUT NO tax dollars to private charities and if they are going to get a tax write off for their donation, then the books of those organizations need to be totally open, no exceptions!!
Or, we do away with the whole tax code and start over again!

I wish I didn’t see many of the same patterns in churches (large and small) that I am seeing in government programs but pretending it isn’t there doesn’t make it go away! Lack of accountability, money coming in with no clear answers as to how it is being spent, people in leadership suddenly getting nicer houses or new cars, nepotism, etc…and under the current tax code there is absolutely NO reporting required and no money trails to even chase!
That’s not okay in my mind because humans are gonna human!
