Bring back the basic manufacturing and machining to the US. Not just steel but bolts and nuts and screws. The big box stores are filled with junk from China that is not worth spit.
If you are going to be building the ships here, you better be making the nuts and bolts here as well.

I have been very impressed with Rubio’s performance. He rose to the occasion. Was just thinking: why would he want to be President? He gets to reshape the world and strengthen America, gets the use of an executive jet, a decent salary (and nothing preventing him from writing books or making investments for a side hustle), and all the perks … but without the death threats that come from the deranged Left. Sounds like a dream job. Tell JD, “Go for it. Run for Prez and keep me on as your SoS.” : )

My dad worked at Sparrows Point/Bethlehem Steel in the early 60s. He would have been in his mid 20s..He got a Mech Engineer degree from South Carolina.
I used to work for a company that used Beth Steel among about three other companies steel. Best of the bunch. Had Japanese steel beat BAD.
